¹ Therefore, brothers, I call on you through the compassions of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.

¹⁴ Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing before You, O Jehovah, my Rock and my Redeemer.

¹³ Will I eat the flesh of mighty ones, and will I drink the blood of he-goats? ¹⁴ Offer thanksgiving to God; and pay your vows to the Most High.

³⁰ I will praise God's name in a song; and I will magnify Him with thanks. ³¹ And it shall please Jehovah more than bulls, horned or hoofed bull.

¹² What shall I return to Jehovah for His benefits to me?

⁷ even them I will bring to My holy mount and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted on My altar, for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the peoples,

²⁰ Why is this to Me? Frankincense comes from Sheba, and the good cane from a far land? Your burnt offerings are not for acceptance, nor are your sacrifices sweet to Me.

² Take words with you and return to Jehovah. Say to Him, Take away all iniquity and receive us well, that we may repay with the calves of our lips.

⁴⁷ For this reason I say to you, her many sins are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, he loves little.

⁴ Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, and the forbearance and the longsuffering, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?

¹³ Neither present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as one living from the dead, and your members instruments of righteousness to God.

¹⁶ Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves as slaves for obedience, you are slaves to whom you obey, whether of sin to death, or obedience to righteousness?

¹⁹ I speak as a man on account of the weakness of your flesh. For as you presented your members as slaves to uncleanness and to lawless act unto lawless act, so now yield your members as slaves to righteousness unto sanctification.

²³ and that He make known the riches of His glory on vessels of mercy which He before prepared for glory,

³⁰ For as you then also disobeyed God, but now have obtained mercy by the disobedience of these, ³¹ so also these now have disobeyed, so that they also may obtain mercy by your mercy.

² And be not conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove by you what is the good and pleasing and perfect will of God.

¹⁶ for me to be a minister of Jesus Christ to the nations, sacredly ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the nations might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

³⁰ But I exhort you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf,

¹⁰ Now I exhort you, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that you all say the same thing, and there be no divisions among you, but you be united in the same mind and in the same judgment.

⁷ Then purge out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For also Christ our Passover was sacrificed for us. ⁸ So let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with leaven of malice and of evil, but with unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

¹³ Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods, but God will destroy both this and these. But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. ¹⁴ And God both raised up the Lord, and He will raise us up through His power. ¹⁵ Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Then taking the members of Christ, shall I make them members of a harlot? Let it not be! ¹⁶ Or do you not know that he being joined to a harlot is one body? For He says, "The two shall be into one flesh." Gen. 2:24 ¹⁷ But he being joined to the Lord is one spirit. ¹⁸ Flee fornication. Every sin which a man may do is outside the body, but he doing fornication sins against his own body. ¹⁹ Or do you not know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit in you, which you have from God, and you are not of yourselves? ²⁰ You were bought with a price; then glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are of God.

¹ Therefore, having this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we do not faint.

¹⁶ Because of this, we do not faint, but if indeed our outward man is being decayed, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

¹⁴ For the love of Christ constrains us, having judged this, that if One died for all, then the all died; ¹⁵ and He died for all, that the living ones may live no more to themselves, but to the One having died for them and having been raised.

²⁰ Then on behalf of Christ, we are ambassadors, as God is exhorting through us, we beseech on behalf of Christ, Be reconciled to God.

¹ But working together, we also call on you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

¹ And I myself, Paul, call on you through the meekness and gentleness of Christ (I, who indeed to look upon am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you);

⁴ But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, ⁵ even we being dead in sins, He made us alive together with Christ (by grace you are being saved), ⁶ and raised us up together and seated us together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus, ⁷ that He might show in the coming ages the exceeding great riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. ⁸ For by grace you are saved, through faith, and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God; ⁹ not of works, that not anyone should boast; ¹⁰ for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God before prepared that we should walk in them.

¹ Then I, the prisoner in the Lord, exhort you to walk worthily of the calling in which you were called,

¹⁰ proving what is pleasing to the Lord.

²⁰ according to my earnest expectation and hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but as always in all boldness even now Christ will be magnified in my body, whether through life or through death.

¹ Then if there is any comfort in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tendernesses and compassions, ² fulfill my joy, that you think the same, having the same love, one in soul, minding the one thing, ³ doing nothing according to party spirit or self-glory, but in humility, esteeming one another to surpass themselves; ⁴ each not looking at their own things, but each also at the things of others. ⁵ For let this mind be in you which also was in Christ Jesus,

¹⁷ But if indeed I am poured out on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice; yea, I rejoice with you all.

¹⁸ But I have all things and more than enough; I have been filled, receiving from Epaphroditus the things from you, an odor of sweet smell, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.

¹ For the rest, then brothers, we beg you and we exhort in the Lord Jesus, even as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you abound more.

¹⁰ For you also do it toward the brothers in all Macedonia. But, brothers, we exhort you to abound more.

¹² But, brothers, we entreat you to know those laboring among you, and taking the lead of you in the Lord, and warning you,

³ For this is good and acceptable before God our deliverer,

⁴ But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them learn first to be godly to their own house and to make a return payment to their forebears, for this is good and pleasing before God.

⁴ But when the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared, ⁵ not by works in righteousness which we had done, but according to His mercy, He saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, ⁶ whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ, our Savior; ⁷ that being justified by His grace, we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. ⁸ Faithful is the Word, and concerning these things I desire you strongly to affirm that the ones believing God should take thought to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.

²⁰ which He consecrated for us, a new and living way through the veil; that is, His flesh; ²¹ and having a Great Priest over the house of God, ²² let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, our hearts having been sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our body having been washed in pure water;

¹⁵ Then through Him let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God always, that is, the fruit of the lips, confessing to His name. ¹⁶ But do not be forgetful of doing good and sharing, for God is well pleased with such sacrifices.

²² And, brothers, I exhort you, endure the word of exhortation, for I indeed wrote to you by a few words .

⁵ you also as living stones are being built a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

¹⁰ you who then were "not a people, but now are the people" of God; "the one not pitied then but now pitied." Hos. 1:6, 9 2:1, 23 ¹¹ Beloved, I exhort you as temporary residents and pilgrims to abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul; ¹² having your behavior good among the nations, in that which they speak against you as evildoers; by observing your good works, they may glorify God in a day of visitation.

²⁰ For what glory is it if you patiently endure while sinning and being buffeted? But if you are suffering while doing good, and patiently endure, this is a grace from God.
