¹ Brothers, truly my heart's pleasure and supplication to God on behalf of Israel is for it to be saved. ² For I testify to them that they have zeal to God, but not according to knowledge. ³ For being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God. ⁴ For Christ is the end of law for righteousness to everyone that believes. ⁵ For Moses writes of the righteousness which is of the law: "The man doing these things shall live by them." Lev. 18:5 ⁶ But the righteousness of faith says this: "Do not say in your heart, Who will go up into Heaven?" (that is, to bring down Christ); ⁷ or, "Who will go down into the abyss?" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.) ⁸ But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we proclaim) Deut. 9:4; 30:12-14 . ⁹ Because if you confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. ¹⁰ For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation. ¹¹ For the Scripture says, "Everyone believing on Him will not be put to shame." Isa. 28:16 ¹² For there is no difference both of Jew and of Greek, for the same Lord of all is rich toward all the ones calling on Him. ¹³ For everyone, "whoever may call on the name of the Lord will be saved." Joel 3:5 ¹⁴ How then may they call on One in whom they have not believed? And how may they believe One of whom they have not heard? And how may they hear without preaching? ¹⁵ And how may they preach if they are not sent? Even as it has been written, "How beautiful" "the feet of those announcing the gospel of peace, of those announcing the gospel of good things." Isa. 52:7 ¹⁶ But not all obeyed the gospel, for Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?" Isa. 53:1 ¹⁷ Then faith is of hearing, and hearing through the Word of God. ¹⁸ But I say, Did they not hear? Yes, rather, "into all the earth their voice went out, and to the ends of the world their words." LXX-Psa. 18:5; MT-Psa. 19:4 ¹⁹ But I say, Did not Israel know? First, Moses says, "I will provoke you to jealousy by a not-nation, by an unwise nation I will anger you." Deut. 32:21 ²⁰ But Isaiah is very bold and says, "I was found by those not seeking Me; I became known to those not inquiring after Me." Isa. 65:1 ²¹ But to Israel He says, "All the day I stretched out My hands to a disobeying and contradicting people." Isa. 65:2

¹⁰ And now leave Me alone that My anger may glow against them, that I may consume them. And I will make you a great nation.

¹³ Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants to whom You swore by Yourself, and You spoke to them, I will multiply your seed like the stars of the heavens, and all this land which I have said, I will give to your seed. And they shall possess it forever.

²³ Also I, far be it from me from sinning against Jehovah, from ceasing to pray for you. But I will instruct you in the good and the right way.

¹¹ I repent that I made Saul reign as king, for he has turned back from following Me, and he has not risen to do my words. And Samuel was angry, and he cried to Jehovah all night.

³⁵ And Samuel never again saw Saul until the day of his death, for Samuel mourned for Saul. And Jehovah repented that He had caused Saul to reign over Israel.

¹⁶ And I have not hurried away from shepherding after You, nor have I desired the woeful day. You surely know that the utterance of my lips was before Your face.

²⁰ Should evil be repaid for good? For they have dug a pit for my soul. Remember, I stood before You to speak good concerning them, to turn Your wrath from them.

³⁴ Jerusalem! Jerusalem! The one killing the prophets, and stoning those having been sent to her, how often I desired to gather your children in the way a hen gathers her brood under the wings, and you did not desire it .

³⁴ But I do not receive witness from man, but I say these things that you may be saved.

¹ I tell the truth in Christ, I do not lie, my conscience bearing witness with me in the Holy Spirit, ² that my grief is great, and a never ceasing pain is in my heart, ³ for I myself was wishing to be a curse from Christ on behalf of my brothers, my kinsmen according to flesh,

²⁰ And I became as a Jew to the Jews, that I might gain Jews; to those under Law as under Law, that I might gain those under Law; ²¹ to those without Law as without Law (not being without law of God, but under the law of Christ), that I might gain those without Law. ²² I became to the weak as weak, that I might gain the weak. To all I have become all things, that in any and every way I might save some.

¹⁶ And he said, Come with me and see my zeal for Jehovah. And they made him ride in the chariot.

⁴ Have all evildoers not known, eating My people as they eat bread? They have not called on Jehovah.

² Also, without knowledge the soul is not good, and he who hurries with his feet sins.

¹ In that day Jehovah shall visit the sea monster, the darting serpent, with His great and fierce and strong sword; even on the sea monster, the twisting serpent; and He shall slay the monster that is in the sea.

² They will put you out of the synagogue, but an hour is coming that everyone killing you will think to bear a service before God.

²⁰ And hearing, they glorified the Lord, and said to him, You see, brother, how many myriads there are of Jews that have believed, and all are zealous ones of the Law.

²⁸ crying out, Men, Israelites, help! This is the man who teaches all everywhere against the people and the Law and this place. And even more, he also brought Greeks into the temple and has defiled this holy place.

³ Indeed I am a man, a Jew having been born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but having been brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, having been trained according to the exactness of the ancestral law, being a zealous one of God, even as you all are today.

²² And they heard him until this word, and lifted up their voice, saying, Take such a one from the earth, for it is not fitting that he should live!

⁹ Indeed, I then thought to myself that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus the Nazarene. ¹⁰ Which I also did in Jerusalem, I also shut up many of the saints in prisons, receiving authority from the chief priests; and they being put to death, I cast a vote.

³¹ but Israel following after a law of righteousness did not arrive at a law of righteousness? ³² Why? Because it was not of faith, but as of works of Law. For they stumbled at the Stone-of-stumbling,

³ For being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.

⁴ in whom the god of this age has blinded the thoughts of the unbelieving, so that the brightness of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.

⁶ Because it is God who said, "Out of darkness Light shall shine," who shone in our hearts to give the brightness of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Isa. 42:6, 7, 16

³ For I testify that according to their ability and beyond their ability, they willingly gave,

¹⁴ And I progressed in Judaism beyond many contemporaries in my race, being much more a zealot of the traditions of my ancestors.

¹⁵ What then was your blessedness? For I testify to you that if you were able, plucking out your eyes, you would have given them to me.

¹⁷ They are zealous for you, but not well; but they only desire to shut you out, that you be zealous to them. ¹⁸ But it is good to be zealous always in a good thing and not only in my being present with you.

⁹ And this I pray, that your love may yet abound more and more in full knowledge and all perception,

⁶ according to zeal, persecuting the church; according to righteousness in Law, being blameless.

¹³ For I bear witness to him, that he has much zeal on your behalf, and those in Laodicea, and those in Hierapolis.

⁴¹ I also will walk contrary to them, and I will bring them into the land of their enemies. If their uncircumcised hearts are then humbled, and they then have satisfied for their iniquity;

³³ And You are just as to all that came on us, for You have done right; but we have done evilly.

²⁷ He will observe to men and say, I have sinned, and I have perverted uprightness; and it was not equally repaid to me;

¹⁵ My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness and Your salvation all the day; for I do not know the numbers. ¹⁶ I will come in the strength of the lord Jehovah; I will speak of Your righteousness, of Yours alone.

¹⁹ And, Your righteousness, O God, is to the heights, You who have done great things. O God, who is like You?

⁶ Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look to the earth beneath; for the heavens vanish like smoke, and the earth shall wear out like a garment; and its inhabitants shall die in the same way, but My salvation shall be forever, and My righteousness shall not be broken.

⁸ For the moth shall eat them like a garment; yea, the moth worm shall eat them like wool. But My righteousness shall be forever, and My salvation to generation to generation.

¹ So says Jehovah: Keep justice and do righteousness, for My salvation is near to come, and My righteousness to be revealed.

¹² I will reveal your righteousness and your works, and they will not benefit you.

⁶ But we are all as the unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as a menstruous cloth. And we all fade as a leaf, and like the wind our iniquities take us away.

⁵ Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and act wisely, and shall do justice and righteousness in the earth. ⁶ In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely. And this is His name by which He shall be called, Jehovah our Righteousness.

²² It is by the kindnesses of Jehovah that we are not consumed, for His mercies are not ended.

⁶ And we have not listened to Your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your name to our kings, our rulers, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. ⁷ O Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but to us the shame of our faces, as it is this day to the men of Judah, and to the dwellers of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, who are near and who are afar through all the lands where You have scattered them for their unfaithfulness which they have done against You. ⁸ O Lord, shame of face belongs to us, to our kings, to our rulers and to our fathers, because we have sinned against You. ⁹ To the Lord our God belong mercies and pardons, for we have rebelled against Him.

²⁴ Seventy weeks are decreed as to your people, and as to your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make atonement for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.

²⁹ But desiring to justify himself, he said to Jesus, And who is my neighbor?

¹⁷ But coming to himself he said, How many servants of my father have plenty of loaves, and I am perishing with famine. ¹⁸ Rising up, I will go to my father, and I will say to him, Father, I sinned against Heaven and before you, ¹⁹ and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me as one of your hired servants. ²⁰ And rising up, he came to his father. But he yet being far away, his father saw him and was moved with pity. And running, he fell on his neck and fervently kissed him. ²¹ And the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against Heaven and before you, and no longer am I worthy to be called your son.

¹⁵ And He said to them, You are those justifying yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts; for the thing highly prized among men is a hateful thing before God.

⁹ And He also spoke this parable to some of those relying on themselves, that they are righteous, and despising the rest: ¹⁰ Two men went up into the temple to pray, the one a Pharisee, and the other a tax collector. ¹¹ The Pharisee was standing, praying these things to himself: God, I thank You that I am not as the rest of men, rapacious, unrighteous, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. ¹² I fast twice in the week; I tithe all things, as many as I get.

⁹ Concerning sin, because they do not believe into Me; ¹⁰ and concerning righteousness, because I am going to the Father, and you no longer see Me;

¹⁷ for in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; even as it has been written, "But the just shall live by" "faith." Hab. 2:4

²² even the righteousness of God through faith of Jesus Christ toward all and upon all those believing; for there is no difference,

²⁶ for the showing forth of His righteousness in the present time, for His being just and justifying the one that is of the faith of Jesus.

¹⁹ For as through the one man's disobedience the many were constituted sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many shall be constituted righteous.

³⁰ What then shall we say? That the nations not following after righteousness have taken on righteousness, but a righteousness of faith;

²¹ For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

³ And I testify again to every man being circumcised, that he is a debtor to do all the Law, ⁴ you who are justified by law are deprived of all effect from Christ, you fell from grace.

⁹ and be found in Him; not having my own righteousness of Law, but through the faith of Christ, having the righteousness of God on faith,

¹ Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those equally precious with us, having obtained faith in the righteousness of our God and our Savior, Jesus Christ:

¹⁷ Because you say, I am rich, and I am made rich, and I have need of nothing, and do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. ¹⁸ I advise you to buy from Me gold having been fired by fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, and your shame and nakedness may not be revealed. And anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

¹¹ He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul; He shall be fully satisfied. By His knowledge shall My righteous Servant justify for many, and He shall bear their iniquities.

¹⁵ But answering, Jesus said to him, Allow it now, for it is becoming to us this way to fulfill all righteousness. Then he allowed Him.

¹⁷ Do not think that I came to annul the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to annul, but to fulfill. ¹⁸ Truly I say to you, Until the heaven and the earth pass away, in no way shall one iota or one tittle pass away from the law until all comes to pass.

¹⁷ For the Law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

³⁸ Then let it be known to you, men, brothers, that through this One remission of sin is announced to you. ³⁹ And everyone believing in this One is justified from all things which you could not be justified by the Law of Moses.

²⁵ whom God set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, for a showing forth of His righteousness through the passing by of the sins that had taken place before, in the forbearance of God, ²⁶ for the showing forth of His righteousness in the present time, for His being just and justifying the one that is of the faith of Jesus. ²⁷ Then where is the boasting? It was excluded. Through what law? Of works? No, but through a law of faith. ²⁸ Then we conclude a man to be justified by faith without works of law. ²⁹ Or is He the God of Jews only, and not also of the nations? Yes, of the nations also, ³⁰ since it is one God who will justify circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. ³¹ Then do we make law of no effect through faith? Let it not be! But we establish law.

¹ Or are you ignorant, brothers, (for I speak to those knowing law), that the law lords it over the man for as long a time as he lives? ² For the married woman was bound by law to the living husband; but if the husband dies, she is set free from the law of the husband. ³ So then, if the husband is living, she will be called an adulteress if she becomes another man's. But if the husband dies, she is free from the law, so as for her not to be an adulteress by becoming another man's. ⁴ So that, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, for you to become Another's, to One raised from the dead, so that we may bear fruit to God.

³ For the law being powerless, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh, ⁴ So that the righteous demand of the law might be fulfilled in us, those not walking according to flesh, but according to Spirit.

³⁰ But of Him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, both righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

²⁴ So that the Law has become a trainer of us until Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

¹⁰ and having been filled, you are in Him, who is the Head of all rule and authority,

¹⁷ which are a shadow of coming things, but the body is of Christ.

⁷ But into the second the high priest goes alone once in the year, not without blood, which he offers for himself and the ignorances of the people; ⁸ the Holy Spirit signifying by this that the way of the Holies has not yet been made manifest, the first tabernacle still having standing; ⁹ which was a parable for the present time, according to which both gifts and sacrifices are offered, but as regards conscience, not being able to perfect the one serving, ¹⁰ but only on foods and drinks, and various washings, and fleshly ordinances, until the time of setting things right has been imposed. ¹¹ But Christ having appeared as a High Priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation, ¹² nor through the blood of goats and of calves, but through His own blood, He entered once for all into the Holy of Holies, having procured everlasting redemption. ¹³ For if the blood of bulls and goats, and ashes of a heifer sprinkling those having been defiled, sanctifies to the purity of the flesh, ¹⁴ by how much more the blood of Christ (who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God), will purify your conscience from dead works for the serving of the living God!

⁸ Above, saying, "You did not desire nor were pleased with sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and sacrifices concerning sins," (which are offered according to the Law), ⁹ then He said, "Lo, I come to do Your will, O God." He takes away the first in order that He may set up the second; ¹⁰ by which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. ¹¹ And indeed every priest stands day by day ministering, and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. ¹² But He, offering but one sacrifice for sins, "sat down" in perpetuity " at the right hand " of God,

¹⁴ For by one offering He has perfected in perpetuity the ones being sanctified.

⁵ and you shall keep My statutes and My judgments, which if a man do, he shall live by them. I am Jehovah.

²⁹ And You testified against them to bring them again to Your Law, but they seethed, and did not listen to Your commands, but were against Your judgments; they sinned in them, which if a man do, he shall live in them. And they gave a rebellious shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not hear.

¹¹ And I gave them My statutes, and I made them know My judgments, which if a man does them, he will even live by them.

¹³ But the house of Israel rebelled against Me in the wilderness. They did not walk in My statutes, and they despised My judgments, which if a man does them he will even live by them. And they greatly profaned My sabbaths. Then I said, I will pour out My fury on them in the wilderness, to consume them.

²¹ But the sons rebelled against Me. They did not walk in My statutes, and they did not keep My judgments, to do them, which if a man does them, he shall live by them. They profaned My sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out My fury on them, to fulfill My anger against them in the wilderness.

²⁷ And answering, he said, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength," and with all your mind, and "your neighbor as yourself." Deut. 6:5; Lev. 19:18 ²⁸ And He said to him, You have answered rightly; do this, and you shall live.

¹⁰ And the commandment which was to life, this was found to be death to me;

¹² But the Law is not of faith, but, "The man doing these things shall live in them." Lev. 18:5

¹¹ For this command which I am commanding you day is not too wonderful for you, nor is it too far off. ¹² It is not in the heavens that you should say, Who shall go up into the heavens for us, and bring it to us, and cause us to hear it, that we may do it? ¹³ And it is not beyond the sea that you should say, Who shall cross over for us to the region beyond the sea and take it for us, and cause us to hear it, that we may do it? ¹⁴ For the word is very near to you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.

⁴ Who has gone up to Heaven, and come down? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in His garments? Who has made all the ends of the earth to rise? What is His name, and what is His Son's name? Surely you know.

¹² If I tell you earthly things, and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? ¹³ And no one has gone up into Heaven, except He having come down out of Heaven, the Son of Man who is in Heaven.

³³ For the bread of God is He coming down out of Heaven and giving life to the world.

³⁸ For I have come down out of Heaven, not that I should do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

⁵⁰ This is the Bread coming down out of Heaven, that anyone may eat of it and not die. ⁵¹ I am the Living Bread that came down from Heaven. If anyone eats of this Bread, he will live forever. And indeed the bread which I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

⁵⁸ This is the Bread which came down out of Heaven, not as your fathers ate the manna and died; the one partaking of this Bread will live forever.

²⁵ whom God set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, for a showing forth of His righteousness through the passing by of the sins that had taken place before, in the forbearance of God,

¹³ For the promise was not through law to Abraham, or to his seed, for him to be the heir of the world, but through a righteousness of faith.

³⁰ What then shall we say? That the nations not following after righteousness have taken on righteousness, but a righteousness of faith; ³¹ but Israel following after a law of righteousness did not arrive at a law of righteousness?

⁸ Because of this, He says, "Having gone up on high, He led captivity captive," and gave "gifts to men." Psa. 68:18 ⁹ But that He went up, what is it except that He also first came down into the lower parts of the earth? ¹⁰ He that came down is the same who also went up above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.

³ who being the shining splendor of His glory, and the express image of His essence, and upholding all things by the word of His power, having made purification of our sins through Himself, He sat down on the right of the Majesty on high, Psa. 110:1

⁷ Being warned by God about the things not yet having been seen, moved with fear, by faith Noah prepared an ark for the salvation of his house; through which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness according to faith.

²⁵ who was delivered because our offenses and was raised because of our justification.

²⁰ Now the God of Peace, He leading up out of the dead, the great Shepherd of the sheep, in the blood of the everlasting covenant, our Lord Jesus,

¹⁸ Because even Christ once suffered concerning sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God; indeed being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit;

²² who going into Heaven is at the right of God, the angels, and authorities, and powers being subjected to Him).

¹⁸ and the Living One; and I became dead; and, behold, I am living forever and ever. Amen. And I have the keys to Hades, and of death.

¹⁴ For the word is very near to you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.

¹⁹ I create the fruit of the lips: peace, peace, to the ones far off and near, says Jehovah, and I will heal him.

¹⁵ And He said to them, Going into all the world, preach the gospel to all the creation. ¹⁶ The one believing and being baptized will be saved. And the one not believing will be condemned.

⁴³ To this One all the Prophets witness, so that through His name everyone believing into Him will receive remission of sins.

³¹ And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation to everyone believing, both to Jew first, and to Greek; ¹⁷ for in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; even as it has been written, "But the just shall live by" "faith." Hab. 2:4

¹⁷ Then faith is of hearing, and hearing through the Word of God.

² This only I desire to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by works of law or by hearing of faith?

⁵ Then He supplying the Spirit to you and working works of power in you, is it by works of law or by hearing of faith?

⁶ Having suggested these things to the brothers, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, having been nourished by the words of faith, and by the good doctrine which you have followed.

²³ having been born again, not by corruptible seed, but incorruptible, through the living word of God, and remaining forever.

²⁵ but the Word of the Lord remains forever." And this is the Word announced as gospel to you. Isa. 40:6 -8

³² Then everyone who shall confess Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father in Heaven. ³³ But whoever denies Me before men, I also will deny him before My Father in Heaven.

⁸ But I say to you, everyone who may confess Me before men, the Son of man will also confess him before the angels of God.

⁶⁹ And we have believed and have known that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. ⁷⁰ Jesus answered them, Did I not choose you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil! ⁷¹ But He spoke of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, for this one was about to betray Him, being one of the Twelve.

²² His parents said these things because they feared the Jews; for the Jews had already agreed that if anyone should confess Him as Christ, he would be expelled from the synagogue.

⁴² Still, however, even out of the rulers, many did believe into Him. But because of the Pharisees, they were not confessing, so that they not be put out of the synagogue. ⁴³ For they loved the glory of men more than the glory of God.

²⁶ And after eight days, His disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. The door having been locked, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said, Peace to you. ²⁷ Then He said to Thomas, Bring your finger here and see My hands, and bring your hand and thrust into My side, and be not unbelieving, but believing. ²⁸ And Thomas answered and said to Him, My Lord and my God! ²⁹ Jesus said to him, Because you have seen Me, Thomas, you have believed. Blessed are the ones not seeing and believing.

²⁴ But God raised Him up, loosing the throes of death, because it was not possible for Him to be held by it.

³⁶ And as they were going along the highway they came on some water. And the eunuch said, Behold, water! What prevents me from being baptized?

³⁴ Who is he condemning? It is Christ who has died, but rather also is raised, who also is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.

¹¹ For it has been written, " As I live, says the Lord, that every knee will bow to Me, and every tongue confess to God." Isa. 49:18; 45:23

³ Because of this I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, Jesus is a curse. And no one is able to say Jesus is Lord, except by the Holy Spirit.

¹⁴ But if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is worthless, and your faith is also worthless. ¹⁵ And also we are found to be false witnesses of God, because we witnessed as to God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if then dead ones are not raised. ¹⁶ For if the dead are not raised, Christ has not been raised. ¹⁷ But if Christ has not been raised, your faith is foolish; you are still in your sins. ¹⁸ And then those that fell asleep in Christ were lost.

¹¹ and "every tongue should confess" that Jesus Christ is "Lord," to the glory of God the Father. Isa. 45:23

²¹ the ones believing in God through Him, He raising Him from the dead, and giving glory to Him so that your faith and hope may be in God.

² By this know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God. ³ And every spirit which does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not from God; and this is the antichrist which you heard is coming, and now is already in the world.

⁷ Because many deceivers went out into the world, those not confessing Jesus Christ to have come in the flesh, this is the deceiver and the antichrist.

¹⁵ And those in the good ground, these are the ones who in a right and good heart, hearing the Word, they hold it and bear fruit in patience.

¹² But as many as received Him, to them He gave authority to become children of God, to the ones believing into His name, ¹³ who were born not of bloods, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but were born of God.

¹⁹ And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness more than the Light, for their works were evil. ²⁰ For everyone practicing wickedness hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, that his works may not be exposed. ²¹ But the one doing the truth comes to the Light, that his works may be revealed, that they exist, having been worked in God.

⁹ Because if you confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

¹⁶ knowing that a man is not justified by works of law, but that it is through faith in Jesus Christ (we also believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of law, because all flesh will not be justified by works of law). Psa. 123:2

¹² Watch, brothers, lest perhaps shall be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief in withdrawing from the living God.

²² let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, our hearts having been sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our body having been washed in pure water;

¹⁵ Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

¹³ I know your works, and where you dwell, where the throne of Satan is . And you hold My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful witness; who was killed alongside you, where Satan dwells.

¹⁶ So, the Lord Jehovah says this: Behold, I place in Zion a Stone for a foundation, a tried Stone, a precious Cornerstone, a sure Foundation; he who believes shall not hurry.

²³ And kings shall be your nursing fathers, and their queens your nurses. They shall bow to you, faces down to the earth, and lick up the dust of your feet. And you shall know that I am Jehovah, by whom they who wait for Me shall not be ashamed.

⁷ Blessed is the man who trusts in Jehovah, and Jehovah is his trust.

³³ as it has been written, "Behold, I place in" "Zion a Stone-of-stumbling," "and a Rock-of-offense," "and everyone believing on Him will not be put to shame." LXX and MT-Isa. 28:16; MT-Isa. 8:14

⁶ Because of this, it is also contained in the Scripture: "Behold," I lay in Zion" an elect, "precious Stone," "a Corner-foundation;" "and the one believing in Him shall never in any way be ashamed." Isa. 28:16

⁵ For You, O Lord, are good and ready to forgive, and rich in mercy to all who call on You.

¹⁸ Jehovah is near to all who call on Him, to all those who call on Him in truth.

⁶ Seek Jehovah while He may be found; call on Him while He is near.

¹⁴ And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all the ones calling on Your name.

³⁴ And opening his mouth, Peter said, Truly I see that God is not an accepter of faces, ³⁵ but in every nation the one fearing Him and working righteousness is acceptable to Him. ³⁶ The Word which He sent to the sons of Israel, preaching the gospel of peace through Jesus Christ, this One is Lord of all.

⁸ And the heart knowing God testified to them, giving them the Holy Spirit, even as also to us. ⁹ And He made distinction in nothing between both us and them, having purified their hearts by faith.

⁴ Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, and the forbearance and the longsuffering, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?

²⁹ Or is He the God of Jews only, and not also of the nations? Yes, of the nations also, ³⁰ since it is one God who will justify circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

¹¹ And he received a sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness of faith while in uncircumcision, for him to be a father of those believing through uncircumcision, for righteousness to be counted to them also, ¹² and a father of circumcision to those not of circumcision only, but also to those walking in the steps of the faith of our father Abraham during uncircumcision.

²³ and that He make known the riches of His glory on vessels of mercy which He before prepared for glory, ²⁴ whom He also called, not only us, of Jews, but also out of nations.

⁹ For this Christ both died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord over both the dead and the living.

¹² And again Isaiah says, "The Root of Jesse shall be, and He rising up to rule the nations; on Him nations will hope." Isa. 11:10

² to the church of God which is in Corinth, those having been sanctified in Christ Jesus, called-out saints, with all those calling on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place, both theirs and ours:

⁴⁷ The first man was out of earth, earthy. The second Man was the Lord out of Heaven. Gen. 2:7

⁹ For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that being rich, He became poor for your sake, so that you might become rich by the poverty of that One.

²⁸ There cannot be Jew nor Greek, there is no slave nor freeman, there is no male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

⁷ in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

⁴ But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

⁷ that He might show in the coming ages the exceeding great riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

¹⁸ For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. ¹⁹ So, then, you are no longer strangers and tenants, but you are fellow citizens of the saints and of the household of God, ²⁰ being built up on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the cornerstone, ²¹ in whom every building having been fitted together grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord, ²² in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

⁶ for the nations to be joint-heirs, and a joint-body and joint-sharers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,

⁸ This grace was given to me, less than the least of all the saints, to proclaim the gospel of the unsearchable riches of Christ among the nations,

¹⁶ that He may give you, according to the riches of His glory, by His power to become mighty in the inward man through His Spirit,

¹⁹ And my God will fill your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

²⁷ to whom God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the nations, who is Christ in you, the hope of glory;

² that their hearts may be comforted, being joined together in love, and to all riches of the full assurance of the understanding, to the full knowledge of the mystery of God, even of the Father and of Christ, ³ in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and of knowledge.

¹¹ where there is no Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, slave or freeman, but Christ is all things and in all.

⁵ For God is one, also there is one Mediator of God and of men, the Man Christ Jesus,

¹⁴ These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and the ones with Him are the called and elect and faithful ones.

¹⁶ And He has on His garment and on His thigh a name having been written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

³² For it shall be, all who shall call on the name of Jehovah shall be saved. For salvation shall be in Mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, as Jehovah has said, and among the saved whom Jehovah shall call.

²¹ "And it shall be that everyone who shall call on the name of the Lord will be saved." Joel 3:15

⁴¹ And also, to the alien who is not of Your people Israel, and has come from a land afar off for Your name's sake, ⁴² (for they shall hear of Your great name, and of Your strong hand, and of Your stretched out arm, and he shall have come in and prayed toward this house,) ⁴³ You shall hear in Heaven, Your dwellingplace, and shall do according to all that the stranger calls to You for, so that all the peoples of the earth may know Your name, to fear You like Your people Israel, and to know that Your name has been called on this house which I have built.

⁵ And the sailors were afraid, and each man cried to his god. And they threw out the ship's articles into the sea, to lighten it off of them. But Jonah had gone down into the hold of the ship; and he lay down, and was sound asleep.

⁹ And he said to them, I am a Hebrew. And I fear Jehovah, the God of Heaven, who has made the sea and the dry land. ¹⁰ And the men were terrified with fear and said to him, What is this you have done? For the men knew that he was fleeing from before the face of Jehovah, because he had told them. ¹¹ And they said to him, What shall we do to you that the sea may be calm from on us? For the sea was going on and being stormy.

¹⁶ Then the men feared Jehovah with a great fear and offered a sacrifice to Jehovah, and vowed vows.

⁵ And the men of Nineveh believed in God, and they called a fast and put on sackclothes, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. ⁶ And the word touched even to the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he took his robe from him and covered himself with sackcloth and sat on the ashes. ⁷ And he cried and said in Nineveh by the decree of the king and of his great ones, saying, Do not let man or beast, herd or flock, taste anything; do not let them feed nor let them drink water. ⁸ But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth. And let them call with strength to God. And let them each one turn from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their palms. ⁹ Who knows? He may turn, and God may have pity and turn away from the glow of His anger, that we do not perish.

⁴⁶ and said to them, So it is written, and so the Christ must suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day. No OT passage ⁴⁷ And repentance and remission of sins must be preached on His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

³¹ But these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

³¹ But he said, How should I be able except someone shall guide me? And he called Philip near, to come up to sit with him.

² he said to them, Believing, did you receive the Holy Spirit? And they said to him, We did not even hear whether the Holy Spirit is.

¹⁷ having delivered you from the people and the nations, to whom I now send you, ¹⁸ to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, in order that they may receive remission of sins, and an inheritance among those being sanctified by faith in Me.

⁵ by whom we received grace and apostleship to obedience of faith among all the nations, for His name's sake,

²⁵ Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel, and the proclaiming of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery having been kept unvoiced during eternal times, ²⁶ but now has been made plain, and by prophetic Scriptures, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known for obedience of faith to all the nations;

²¹ if indeed you heard Him and were taught in Him, as the truth is in Jesus.

¹⁷ But the Lord stood with me and gave me power, that through me the preaching might be fulfilled, and all the nations might hear. And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

³ but revealed in its own times in a proclamation of His word, with which I was entrusted by the command of our Savior God:

⁶ But without faith it is impossible to please God . For it is right that the one drawing near to God should believe that He is, and that He becomes a rewarder to the ones seeking Him out.

¹⁵ And the prayer of faith will cure those being sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he may have committed sin, it will be forgiven him.

⁹ You who bring good news to Zion, go up for yourself on the high mountain, bringer of good news to Zion. Lift up your voice with strength, bringer of good news to Jerusalem. Lift up; do not fear. Say to the cities of Judah, Behold! Your God!

⁷ How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him bringing good news, making peace heard, bringing good news, proclaiming salvation; saying to Zion, Your God reigns!

¹ The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is on Me, because Jehovah has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the meek. He has sent Me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to captives, and complete opening to the bound ones;

³² Jehovah says, Behold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams, and tell them, and cause My people to go astray by their lies, and by their frivolity. Yet I did not send them nor command them. And they will not profit this people at all, says Jehovah.

¹⁵ Behold! The feet of Him bearing good news is on the mountains, making heard, Peace! O Judah, celebrate your feasts; fulfill your vows; for the worthless will not continue to pass through among you; he is completely cut off.

³⁸ Pray then that the Lord of the harvest may send out workers into His harvest.

¹⁸ And coming up Jesus talked with them, saying, All authority in Heaven and on earth was given to Me. ¹⁹ Going, then, disciple all nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the completion of the age. Amen.

¹⁰ And the angel said to them, Do not fear. For, behold, I announce good news to you, a great joy, which will be to all people,

¹⁴ Glory to God in the highest, and peace on earth, good will among men.

¹ And it happened afterwards, even He traveled in every city and village, preaching and announcing the gospel of the kingdom of God. And the Twelve were with Him;

¹ And after these things, the Lord also appointed seventy others, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place, even to where He was about to come.

²¹ Then Jesus said to them again, Peace to you. As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.

¹⁵ And the Lord said to him, Go, for this one is a chosen vessel to Me, to bear My name before nations and kings and the sons of Israel.

³⁶ The Word which He sent to the sons of Israel, preaching the gospel of peace through Jesus Christ, this One is Lord of all.

² And while they were doing service to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, So then separate both Barnabas and Saul to Me, for the work to which I have called them. ³ Then, having fasted and prayed, and placing hands on them, they let them go. ⁴ Then these indeed sent out by the Holy Spirit went down to Seleucia, and from there sailed away to Cyprus.

²⁶ Men, brothers, sons of the race of Abraham, and the ones among you fearing God, to you the word of this salvation was sent.

²¹ And He said to me, Go, for I will send you to the nations afar off.

²⁸ And God placed some in the church: firstly apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then works of power; then gifts of healing, helps, governings, kinds of languages. ²⁹ Are all apostles? All prophets? All teachers? All workers of power?

¹⁸ And all things are of God, who reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and having given to us the ministry of reconciliation, ¹⁹ whereas God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not charging their trespasses to them, and putting the word of reconciliation in us. ²⁰ Then on behalf of Christ, we are ambassadors, as God is exhorting through us, we beseech on behalf of Christ, Be reconciled to God.

¹⁷ And coming, He proclaimed "peace to you, the ones afar off, and to the ones near." Isa. 57:19

¹¹ And indeed He gave some to be apostles; and some prophets; and some evangelists; and some pastors and teachers; ¹² with a view to the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ,

¹⁵ and having shod the feet with the preparation of the "gospel of peace." Isa. 52:7

¹² To whom it was revealed that not to themselves, but to us they ministered the same things, which now were announced to you by those having preached the gospel to you in the Holy Spirit sent from Heaven; into which things angels long to bow to look.

¹⁰ Who among you fears Jehovah, obeying the voice of His servant, who walks in darkness, and no light is in him? Let him trust in the name of Jehovah, and lean on his God.

¹ Who has believed our report? And to whom is the arm of Jehovah revealed?

²⁶ But you do not believe for you are not of My sheep, as I said to you.

³⁸ so that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he said, "Lord, who has believed our report? And the arm of the Lord, to whom was it revealed?" Isa. 53:1 ³⁹ Because of this they could not believe, because Isaiah said again, ⁴⁰ "He has blinded their eyes" and "has hardened their heart," "that they might not see with the eyes" and "understand with the heart," "and be converted," "and I should heal them." Isa. 6:10

²⁴ And some indeed were persuaded by that being said, others disbelieved.

⁸ but to those even disobeying the truth, out of self interest, and obeying unrighteousness, will be anger and wrath,

³ For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief destroy the faith of God?

¹⁷ But thanks be to God that you were slaves of sin, but you obeyed from the heart the form of doctrine to which you were delivered.

¹⁷ But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree were grafted in among them, and became a sharer of the root and the fatness of the olive tree,

²⁶ but now has been made plain, and by prophetic Scriptures, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known for obedience of faith to all the nations;

¹ O foolish Galatians, who bewitched you not to obey the truth, to whom before your eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed among you, crucified?

⁷ You were running well; who held you back that you do not obey the truth?

⁸ in flaming fire giving full vengeance to those not knowing God, and to those not obeying the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, Isa. 66:15; Jer. 10:25

² For, indeed, we have had the gospel preached to us, even as they also; but the word did not profit those hearing it, not having been mixed with faith in the ones who heard.

⁹ and being perfected, He became the Author of eternal salvation to all the ones obeying Him,

⁸ Having been called out by faith, Abraham obeyed to go forth to a place which he was going to receive for an inheritance; and he went out not understanding where he went.

²² Having purified your souls in the obedience of the truth through the Spirit to unpretended brotherly love, love one another fervently out of a pure heart,

⁸ and a Stone-of-stumbling, and a Rock-of-offense" to those disobeying, stumbling at the word, to which they were also appointed. Isa. 8:14

¹ Likewise, wives, submitting yourselves to your own husbands, that even if any disobey the word, through the behavior of the wives, without a word they will be won,

²⁸ The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream. And he who has My word, let him speak My word faithfully. What has the straw to do with the grain, says Jehovah? ²⁹ Is not My word thus like fire, says Jehovah, and like a hammer which breaks a rock in pieces?

²⁴ And He said to them, Be careful what you hear. With what measure you measure, it will be measured to you; and more will be given to you, the ones hearing.

¹¹ And this is the parable: The seed is the Word of God.

²¹ And answering, He said to them, My mother and My brothers are these: the ones hearing the Word of God, and doing it.

²⁸ But He said, No; rather, blessed are those hearing the Word of God, and keeping it.

²⁹ Abraham said to him, They have Moses and the Prophets, let them hear them. ³⁰ But he said, No, father Abraham, but if one should go from the dead to them, they will repent. ³¹ And he said to him, If they will not hear Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if one from the dead should rise.

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation to everyone believing, both to Jew first, and to Greek;

¹⁴ How then may they call on One in whom they have not believed? And how may they believe One of whom they have not heard? And how may they hear without preaching?

¹⁸ For the word of the cross is foolishness to those being lost, but to us being saved, it is the power of God. ¹⁹ For it has been written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will set aside the understanding of the understanding ones." Isa. 29:14 ²⁰ Where is the wise? Where the scribe? Where the lawyer of this world? Did God not make the wisdom of this world foolish? ²¹ For since in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom did not know God, God was pleased through the foolishness of preaching to save the ones believing. ²² And since Jews ask for a sign, and Greeks seek wisdom, ²³ we on the other hand preach Christ crucified (truly an offense to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks), ²⁴ but to the called-out ones, both to Jews and to Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God;

¹⁷ For we are not as the many, hawking the Word of God; but as of sincerity, but as of God. We speak in Christ, in the sight of God.

⁴ hearing of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love toward all the saints, ⁵ because of the hope being laid up for you in Heaven, which you heard before in the Word of the truth of the gospel, ⁶ coming to you, as also in all the world, and it is bearing fruit even also among you, from the day in which you heard and knew the grace of God in truth;

¹⁶ Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom teaching and exhorting yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

¹³ And because of this we give thanks to God without ceasing, that having received the Word of hearing from us, you welcomed it as of God, not as a word of men, but as it is, truly the Word of God, which also works in you, the ones believing.

¹³ But we ought to thank God always concerning you, brothers, beloved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning to salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth, ¹⁴ to which He called you through our gospel, to obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹² For the word of God is living, and powerfully working, and sharper than every two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of both soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge of the thoughts and intentions of the heart; ¹³ and there is no creature unrevealed before Him; but all things are naked and laid open to His eyes, with whom is our account.

¹⁸ Having purposed, He brought us forth by the word of truth, for us to be a certain firstfruit of His creatures. ¹⁹ So that, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. ²⁰ For the wrath of man does not work out the righteousness of God. ²¹ On account of this, having put aside all filthiness and overflowing of evil, in meekness receive the implanted Word being able to save your souls.

²³ having been born again, not by corruptible seed, but incorruptible, through the living word of God, and remaining forever.

⁹ I, even your brother John, and co-sharer in the affliction, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, came to be in the island being called Patmos because of the Word of God, and because of the witness of Jesus Christ.

¹⁰ As Jehovah your God lives, there is no nation or kingdom where my lord has not sent to seek you; and when they said, He is not here, then he caused the kingdom and the nation to swear that it did not find you.

⁴ Their measuring line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world; in them He has set up a dwelling-place for the sun,

²⁷ All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn back to Jehovah; and all the families of the nations shall worship before You.

³ He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

¹⁶ We have heard songs from the end of the earth, Honor to the Righteous. But I said, Leanness to me! Leanness to me! Woe to me! Traitors betray, even perfidy; traitors betray!

⁶ And He said, It is too little that You should be My servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You for a light of the nations, that You may be My salvation to the end of the earth.

¹⁰ Jehovah has bared His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

¹⁹ O Jehovah, my strength and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the nations shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, Our fathers have inherited only lies, vanity, and there is no profit in them.

⁸ Again the Devil takes Him to a very high mountain, and he showed to Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.

¹⁴ And this gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the earth for a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end.

¹³ Truly I say to you, Wherever this gospel is proclaimed in all the world, what she did will be spoken of as a memorial of her.

¹⁹ Going, then, disciple all nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

¹⁵ And He said to them, Going into all the world, preach the gospel to all the creation.

²⁰ And going out, they preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word by the signs following. Amen.

⁵ And Jews were living in Jerusalem, devout men from every nation of those under the heaven. ⁶ But this sound occurring, the multitude came together and were confounded, because they each heard them speaking in his own dialect. ⁷ And all were amazed and marveled, saying to one another, Behold, are not all these, those speaking, Galileans? ⁸ And how do we hear each in our own dialect in which we were born, ⁹ Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and those living in Mesopotamia, both Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, ¹⁰ both Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt, and the regions of Libya over against Cyrene, and the temporarily residing Romans, both Jews and proselytes, ¹¹ Cretans and Arabians; in our own languages we hear them speaking the great deeds of God?

²⁰ but to those first in Damascus, and Jerusalem, and to all the country of Judea, and to the nations, I announced the command to repent and to turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.

²³ And having appointed him a day, more came to him in the lodging, to whom he expounded, earnestly testifying the kingdom of God and persuading them the things concerning Jesus, both from the law of Moses and the Prophets, from morning until evening.

⁸ First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of in all the world.

¹⁹ in power of miracles and wonders, in power of the Spirit of God, so as for me to have fulfilled the preaching of the gospel of Christ from Jerusalem and in a circle as far as Illyricum.

⁶ coming to you, as also in all the world, and it is bearing fruit even also among you, from the day in which you heard and knew the grace of God in truth;

²³ if indeed you continue in the faith grounded and settled and not being moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard proclaimed in all the creation under Heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

⁸ For the Word of the Lord sounded out from you not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith toward God has gone out, so that there is no need for us to have to say anything.

²¹ They made Me jealous with a no-god; they made Me angry by their vanities; and I shall make them jealous by a no-people; by a foolish nation I shall make them angry.

⁵ they have mouths, but they do not speak; they have eyes, but they do not see; ⁶ they have ears, but they do not hear; they have a nose, but they do not smell; ⁷ their hands do not feel; their feet do not walk; they do not mutter through their throat. ⁸ The ones who make them are like them, and everyone trusting in them.

¹⁸ They do not know, nor discern; for He has smeared their eyes from seeing, their hearts from understanding. ¹⁹ And not one turns back to his heart, nor has knowledge nor discernment to say, I have burned half of it in the fire; and I also have baked bread on its coals. I have roasted flesh and have eaten it; and I have made the rest of it into an idol. Shall I bow to a product of a tree? ²⁰ Feeding on ashes, a deceived heart turns him aside, and he does not deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

⁸ But they are at once foolish and animal like; their tree is an instruction of vanities.

¹⁴ Every man is stupid from lack of knowledge; every refiner is put to shame by the carved image. For his molten image is a lie and no breath is in them.

²³ And I will sow her to Me in the earth. And I will have mercy on No Mercy. And I will say to Not My People, You are My people! And they shall say, My God!

²¹ Because knowing God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful. But they became vain in their reasonings, and their undiscerning heart was darkened. ²² Professing to be wise, they became foolish

¹⁸ But I say, Did they not hear? Yes, rather, "into all the earth their voice went out, and to the ends of the world their words." LXX-Psa. 18:5; MT-Psa. 19:4

¹¹ I say, then, Did not they stumble that they fall? Let it not be! But by their slipping away came salvation to the nations, to provoke them to jealousy.

¹⁴ if somehow I may provoke to jealousy my flesh, and may save some of them.

¹² But I say this, that each of you says, I am of Paul, and I of Apollos, and I of Cephas, and I of Christ.

²⁹ But I say this, brothers, that the time has been cut short. For the rest is, that even the ones having wives should be as not having,

¹⁹ What then do I say, that an idol is anything, or that an idolatrous sacrifice is anything?

²² For do you not have houses to eat and to drink? Or do you despise the church of God, and shame those who have not? What do I say to you? Shall I praise you for this? I do not praise.

² You know that being led away, you nations were led to dumb idols.

⁵⁰ And I say this, brothers, that flesh and blood is not able to inherit the kingdom of God, nor does corruption inherit incorruption.

³ For we also once were senseless, disobedient, led astray, slaving for various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.

¹⁰ you who then were "not a people, but now are the people" of God; "the one not pitied then but now pitied." Hos. 1:6, 9 2:1, 23

¹ The wicked flee though no one is pursuing, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.

¹⁵ so He sprinkles from many nations. At Him kings shall shut their mouths; for they will see that which was not told to them; yea, what they had not heard, they will understand.

⁴ Behold, I gave Him a Witness to peoples, a Leader and Commander of peoples. ⁵ Behold, You shall call a nation You do not know; yea, a nation not knowing You shall run to You, because of Jehovah Your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for He has glorified You.

¹ Call out with the throat! Do not spare. Lift up your voice like the ram's horn! And show My people their rebellion, and their sins to the house of Jacob.

¹ I have been sought, not by those who asked. I have been found, not by those who sought Me. To a nation not calling on My name, I said, Behold Me! Behold Me! ² I have spread out My hands all the day long to a rebellious people who walk in the way not good, after their own thoughts;

¹⁶ So the last shall be first, and the first last; for many are called, but few chosen.

⁹ Then go onto the exits of the highways and call to the wedding feast as many as you may find. ¹⁰ And going out into the highways, those slaves gathered all, as many as they found, both evil and good. And the wedding feast was filled with reclining guests.

²³ And the lord said to the slave, Go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in, so that my house may be filled.

³⁰ What then shall we say? That the nations not following after righteousness have taken on righteousness, but a righteousness of faith;

¹⁹ Pray also for me, that to me may be given speech in the opening of my mouth with boldness to make known the mystery of the gospel, ²⁰ for which I am an ambassador in a chain, that in it I may speak boldly as it is right for me to speak.

¹⁹ We love Him because He first loved us.

¹³ And Jehovah spoke to me, saying, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people.

²⁷ For I have known your rebellion and your stiff neck. Behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, you have been rebellious against Jehovah. And how much more after my death!

⁷ And Jehovah said to Samuel, Listen to the voice of the people, to all that they say to you. For they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from reigning over them. ⁸ According to all the works that they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt, even to this day, when they forsook Me and served other gods, so they are also doing to you.

²⁶ But they were disobedient, and rebelled against You, and cast Your law behind their backs. And they killed Your prophets who testified against them, to turn them to You. And they worked great blasphemies.

²⁴ Because I called, and you refused; I stretch out a hand, and none inclines,

² I have spread out My hands all the day long to a rebellious people who walk in the way not good, after their own thoughts; ³ a people who continually provoke Me to My face; who sacrifice in gardens, and burn incense on the bricks; ⁴ who sit among the graves and lodge in the towers; who eat swine's flesh, and broth of unclean things in their pots; ⁵ who say, Keep to yourself! Do not come near me, for I am holier than you! These are a smoke in My nose, a fire burning all the day.

⁴ And Jehovah has sent to you all His servants the prophets, rising early and sending, but you have not listened nor bowed your ear to hear,

¹⁵ I have also sent to you all My servants the prophets, rising up early and sending, saying, Each man now return from his evil way, and amend your doings, and do not go after other gods to serve them, and you shall live in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers. But you have not bowed your ear, nor listened to Me.

⁴ However, I sent to you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending, saying, Oh, do not commit this abominable thing which I hate! ⁵ But they did not listen nor bow their ear, to turn from their evil, not to burn incense to other gods. ⁶ For this reason My fury and My anger poured out and burned in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem. And they are wasted and deserted as this day.

¹ For the kingdom of Heaven is like a man, a housemaster, who went out when it was early to hire workers into his vineyard. ² And agreeing with the workers for a denarius for the day, he sent them into his vineyard. ³ And going out about the third hour, he saw others standing idle in the market. ⁴ And he said to them, You also go into the vineyard, and I will give you whatever is just. And they went. ⁵ Again, going out about the sixth and ninth hour, he did the same. ⁶ And going out about the eleventh hour, he found others standing idle, and said to them, Why do you stand here idle all day? ⁷ They said to him, Because no one has hired us. He said to them, You also go into the vineyard, and you will receive whatever is just. ⁸ But evening coming, the Lord of the vineyard said to his manager, Call the workers and pay them the wage, beginning from the last to the first. ⁹ And the ones coming the eleventh hour each received a denarius. ¹⁰ And coming, the first supposed that they would receive more. And they also each received a denarius. ¹¹ And receiving it, they murmured against the housemaster, ¹² saying, These last have performed one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day. ¹³ But answering, he said to one of them, Friend, I am not unjust to you. Did you not agree to a denarius with me? ¹⁴ Take yours and go. But I desire to give to this last as also to you. ¹⁵ Or is it not lawful for me to do what I desire with my things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?

³³ Hear another parable: There was a certain man, a house master, who planted a vineyard and placed a hedge around it; and he dug a winepress in it, and built a tower. And he rented it to vinedressers and left the country. Isa. 5:1, 2 ³⁴ And when the season of the fruits came, he sent his slaves to the vinedressers to receive his fruits. ³⁵ And the vinedressers, taking his slaves, they beat this one, and they killed one, and they stoned another. ³⁶ Again he sent other slaves, more than the first. And they did the same to them. ³⁷ And at last he sent his son to them, saying, They will have respect for my son. ³⁸ But seeing the son, the vinedressers said among themselves, This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and get hold of his inheritance. ³⁹ And taking him, they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him . ⁴⁰ Therefore, when the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to these vinedressers? ⁴¹ They said to Him, Bad men! He will miserably destroy them, and he will rent out the vineyard to other vinedressers who will give to him the fruits in their seasons. ⁴² Jesus said to them, Did you never read in the Scriptures, "A Stone which the builders rejected is the One that has become the head of the corner. This was from the Lord, and it is a wonder in our eyes?" Psa. 118:22, 23 ⁴³ Because of this I say to you, The kingdom of God will be taken from you, and it will be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits of it.

³ And he sent his slaves to call those who had been invited to the wedding feast, but they did not desire to come. ⁴ Again, he sent other slaves, saying, Tell the ones invited, Behold, I have prepared my supper; my oxen, and the fatlings are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast. ⁵ But not caring they went away, one to his own field, and one to his trading. ⁶ And the rest, seizing his slaves, insulted and killed them . ⁷ And hearing, the king became angry. And sending his armies, he destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

³⁴ Because of this, behold, I send to you prophets and wise ones and scribes. And some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will flog in your synagogues and will persecute from city to city; ³⁵ so that should come on you all the righteous blood poured out on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah the son of Berechiah whom you murdered between the Holy Place and the altar. ³⁶ Truly I say to you, All these things will come on this generation. ³⁷ Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one killing the prophets and stoning those sent to her. How often I desired to gather your children in the way a bird gathers her chicks under her wings! And you did not desire it.

⁴⁷ And repentance and remission of sins must be preached on His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

⁵¹ Oh stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and in the ears! You always fell against the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, you also did . ⁵² Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who before announced the coming of the Just One, of whom you now have become betrayers and murderers,

⁴⁶ But speaking boldly, Paul and Barnabas said, It was necessary for the Word of God to be spoken first to you; but since you indeed thrust it away and judge yourselves not worthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the nations. ⁴⁷ For so the Lord has commanded us, "I have set You for a Light of nations, that You be for salvation to the end of the earth." Isa. 49:6

¹⁶ hindering us from speaking to the nations in order that they be saved, to fill up their sins always. But the wrath has come on them to the uttermost.
