⁷ You, even You, are terrifying; and who can stand before You when You are angry?

²⁵ For great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised; and He is to be feared above all gods.

¹⁵ O Jehovah the God of Israel, You are righteous. For we are left as escapees, as it is this day. Behold, we are before You in our guilt, for none is able to stand before You because of this.

¹² Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Oh the blessings of all those who flee to Him for refuge!

⁷ God is greatly to be feared in the congregation of the saints, and to be adored by all around Him.

¹¹ Who knows the power of Your anger? And as Your fear is, so is Your fury.

³ If You will keep iniquities, O Jehovah, O Lord, who shall stand?

⁷ Who would not fear You, O King of nations? For it is fitting to You, because there is none like You among all the wise of the nations, and in all their kingdoms. ⁸ But they are at once foolish and animal like; their tree is an instruction of vanities. ⁹ Silver beaten into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the craftsman and the hands of the goldsmith. Violet and purple is their clothing; they are all the works of skillful ones. ¹⁰ But Jehovah is the true God, He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to stand His indignation.

⁶ Who can stand before His fury? And who can rise against the heat of His anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken down because of Him.

²⁸ And you should not fear the ones killing the body, but not being able to kill the soul. But rather fear Him being able to destroy both soul and body in Hell.

¹⁶ And "they said to the mountains" and to the rocks, "Fall on us," and hide us from the face of the One sitting on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, Hos. 10:8 ¹⁷ because the great day of His wrath has come; and who is able to stand?

⁷ saying in a great voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him, because the hour of His judgment has come; also, Worship "Him who has made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea," and the fountains of waters. Ex. 20:11

⁴ Who will not fear You, Lord, and glorify Your name? For You only are holy. For all the nations will come and will worship before You, because Your righteousnesses were made known.
