² then you shall take of the first of all the fruit of the ground which you shall bring in from your land which Jehovah your God is giving to you, and shall put it in a basket, and shall go to the place which Jehovah your God shall choose to cause His name to dwell there. ³ And you shall come to the priest who is in those days, and shall say to him, I declare today to Jehovah your God that I have come into the land which Jehovah has sworn to our fathers to give to us. ⁴ And the priest shall take the basket out of your hand and place it before the altar of Jehovah your God. ⁵ And you shall speak and say before Jehovah your God, My father was a perishing Aramean! And he went down to Egypt with few men, and lived there, and became a nation there, great, mighty and many. ⁶ And the Egyptians dealt ill with us, and afflicted us, and put hard labor on us. ⁷ And we cried to Jehovah, the God of our fathers, and Jehovah heard our voice, and saw our affliction, and our labor, and our oppression. ⁸ And Jehovah brought us out from Egypt by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders. ⁹ And He has brought us to this place, and has given to us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey. ¹⁰ And now, behold, I have brought in the first of the fruits of the ground which You have given me, O Jehovah. And you shall place it before Jehovah your God, and bow yourself before Jehovah your God,

²⁴ And when she had weaned him, she brought him up with her, along with three bullocks, and one ephah of flour, and a skin of wine. And she brought him to the house of Jehovah at Shiloh. And the child was a young one.

²⁷ I prayed for this boy, and Jehovah has given my petition which I asked of Him to me.

²⁶ And on the fourth day they gathered at the Valley of Blessing, for they blessed Jehovah there; on account of this they have called the name of that place the Valley of Blessing to this day. ²⁷ And they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat at their head, to go back to Jerusalem with joy; for Jehovah had made them rejoice over their enemies. ²⁸ And they entered Jerusalem with harps and with lyres, and with trumpets, to the house of Jehovah. ²⁹ And there was a fear of God on all kingdoms of the lands when they heard that Jehovah had fought with the enemies of Israel.

¹⁴ So that I may declare all Your praises in the gates of the daughter of Zion; I will rejoice in Your salvation.

¹³ I will go into Your house with burnt offerings; I will pay You my vows, ¹⁴ which my lips have opened, and my mouth has spoken in my trouble. ¹⁵ I will offer burnt sacrifices of fatlings to You, with the incense of rams; I will offer bulls with goats. Selah.

¹⁷ O God, You have taught me from my youth; and until now I have declared Your wonders. ¹⁸ And now that I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not leave me until I have manifested Your strength to the generation, Your power to everyone who is to come. ¹⁹ And, Your righteousness, O God, is to the heights, You who have done great things. O God, who is like You?

¹⁸ Blessed is Jehovah God, the God of Israel, who alone does wonderful things.

² Let us come before His face with praise; let us shout for joy to Him with songs.

⁴ Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, into His courts with praise; be thankful to Him; bless His name. ⁵ For Jehovah is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His faithfulness to generation and generation.

² Sing to Him; sing praises to Him; tell of all His wonders.

¹² What shall I return to Jehovah for His benefits to me? ¹³ I will lift up the cup of salvation, and I will call on the name of Jehovah. ¹⁴ I will pay my vows to Jehovah now in the presence of all His people.

¹⁸ I will pay my vows to Jehovah now in the presence of all His people, ¹⁹ in the courts of the house of Jehovah; in your midst, O Jerusalem. Praise Jehovah!

¹⁹ Open the gates of righteousness to me, I will enter into them; I will thank Jehovah.

²⁷ Jehovah is God, and He gives light to us. Tie the sacrifice with cords, to the horns of the altar.

²⁷ Make me understand the way of Your precepts, and I will meditate on Your wonders.

² Lift up your hands in the holy place, and bless Jehovah.

⁴ to Him who alone does great wonders; for His mercy endures forever; ⁵ to Him who by wisdom made the heavens; for His mercy endures forever;

⁵ I will muse on the glorious honor of Your majesty, and the things of Your wonderful works.

³⁷ And as He was already drawing near to the descent of the Mount of Olives, all the multitude of the disciples began rejoicing, to praise God with a loud voice concerning all the works of power which they saw, ³⁸ saying, "Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord," the King.
