¹ The orderings of the heart are for man, and the answer of the tongue from Jehovah.

¹¹ And Jehovah said to him, Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the dumb, or the deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? is it not I, Jehovah? ¹² And now go, and I will be with your mouth, and will teach you what you shall speak.

¹⁵ And you shall speak to him, and you shall put the words in his mouth. And I will be with your mouth, and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do.

³¹ And it happened, when the commanders of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, they said, He is the king of Israel. And they turned around to fight against him. And Jehoshaphat cried out. And Jehovah helped him. And God drew them away from him.

²⁷ Blessed be Jehovah, the God of our fathers, who has put this in the king's heart, to beautify the house of Jehovah in Jerusalem.

¹¹ O Lord, I beg You, let Your ear be open to the prayer of Your servant, and to the prayer of Your servants who delight to fear Your name. And I beg You, bless Your servant today and grant him mercy before this man. For I was cupbearer to the king.

¹⁷ O Jehovah, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart. Your ear will hear,

³⁶ Bow my heart to Your testimonies, and not to unjust gain.

⁹ A man's heart plans his way, but Jehovah fixes his step.

²¹ Many purposes are in a man's heart, but the counsel of Jehovah shall stand.

²⁴ The steps of a man are from Jehovah, and what can man discern of his way?

¹ As streams of waters, the king's heart is in the hand of Jehovah; He turns it wherever He desires.

⁷ But Jehovah said to me, Do not say, I am a boy; for you shall go to all that I shall send you. And whatever I command you, you shall speak. ⁸ Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you, says Jehovah. ⁹ Then Jehovah put out His hand and touched my mouth. And Jehovah said to me, Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.

²³ O Jehovah, I know that his way does not belong to man; it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.

³⁹ And I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me all the days, for good to them and to their sons after them. ⁴⁰ And I will cut an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do good to them. But I will put My fear in their heart, that they shall not depart from Me.

²⁶ And I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give to you a heart of flesh. ²⁷ And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you shall keep My judgments and do them .

¹⁹ But when they deliver you up, do not be anxious how or what you should say, for it is given to you in that hour what you should say. ²⁰ For you are not the ones speaking, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

¹¹ But when they bring you in before synagogues and rulers and the authorities, do not be anxious how or what you shall reply, or what you should say; ¹² for the Holy Spirit will teach you in the same hour what you ought to say.

¹⁴ Then put into your hearts not to premeditate to make a defense. ¹⁵ For I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all those opposing you will not be able to withstand or contradict.

¹⁶ But thanks be to God, who gives the same earnestness for you in the heart of Titus.

¹³ for it is God who is working in you both to will and to work for the sake of His good pleasure.

¹⁶ Do not go astray, my beloved brothers, ¹⁷ every act of good giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom is no change or shadow of turning. ¹⁸ Having purposed, He brought us forth by the word of truth, for us to be a certain firstfruit of His creatures.
