¹ At that time on the sabbath, Jesus went through the grain fields. And His disciples were hungry, and began to pluck heads of grain and to eat. ² But seeing, the Pharisees said to Him, Behold, your disciples are doing what it is not lawful to do on the sabbath. ³ But He said to them, Have you not read what David did, when he and those with him hungered? ⁴ How he entered into the house of God, and he ate the Bread of Arrangement, which it was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those with him, but for the priests only? ⁵ Or have you not read in the Law that on the sabbaths the priests in the temple profane the sabbath and are guiltless? ⁶ But I say to you, One greater than the temple is here. ⁷ But if you had known what this is, "I desire mercy and not sacrifice," you would not have condemned the guiltless. Hos. 6:6 ⁸ For the Son of man is also Lord of the sabbath. ⁹ And moving from there, He came into their synagogue. ¹⁰ And, behold, a man having a withered hand was there. And they asked Him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbaths? (that they might accuse Him). ¹¹ But He said to them, What man of you will be who will have one sheep, and if this one fall into a pit on the sabbaths, will he not lay hold of it and raise it up? ¹² How much more, then, does a man excel a sheep! So that it is lawful to do well on the sabbaths. ¹³ Then He said to the man, Stretch out your hand! And he stretched out. And it was restored sound as the other. ¹⁴ But as they were leaving, the Pharisees took up a council against Him, how they might destroy Him. ¹⁵ But knowing, Jesus withdrew from there. And great crowds followed Him, and He healed them all ¹⁶ and warned them that they should not make Him manifest. ¹⁷ So that might be fulfilled that spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, ¹⁸ "Behold My Child whom I chose, My Beloved, in whom My soul has delighted! I will put My Spirit on Him, and He will declare judgment to the nations. ¹⁹ He will not strive nor cry out, nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets. ²⁰ A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench, until He bring forth judgment to victory." Isa. 42:1 -3 ²¹ "And the nations will hope in His name." LXX-Isa. 42:4 ²² Then one having been demon-possessed was brought to Him, blind and dumb. And He healed him, so that the blind and dumb one could both speak and see. ²³ And all the crowds were amazed, and said, Is this not the son of David? ²⁴ But hearing, the Pharisees said, This one does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, ruler of the demons. ²⁵ But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, He said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to ruin. And every city or house divided against itself will not stand. ²⁶ And if Satan throws out Satan, he was divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? ²⁷ And if I throw out the demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons throw them out? Because of this, they shall be your judges. ²⁸ But if I cast out the demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come on you. ²⁹ Or how is anyone able to enter the house of the strong one and plunder his goods, if he does not first tie up the strong one; and then he will plunder his house? ³⁰ The one who is not with Me is against Me, and the one who does not gather with Me scatters. ³¹ Because of this, I say to you, Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven to men, but the blasphemy concerning the Spirit shall not be forgiven to men. ³² And whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him. But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, not in this age nor in the coming one . ³³ Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree corrupt and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by the fruit. ³⁴ Offspring of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. ³⁵ The good man out of the good treasure of the heart puts forth good things. And the evil man out of the evil treasure puts forth evil things. ³⁶ But I say to you, that every idle word, whatever men may speak, they shall give an account of it in Judgment Day. ³⁷ For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. ³⁸ Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, Teacher, we desire to see a sign from you. ³⁹ But answering, He said to them, An evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign, and a sign shall not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet. ⁴⁰ And even as "Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish three days and three nights," so shall the Son of man be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights. Jon. 1:17 ⁴¹ Men, Ninevites, will stand up in the Judgment with this generation and will condemn it. For they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and, behold, a Greater-than-Jonah is here. ⁴² The queen of the south will be raised in the Judgment with this generation and will condemn it. For she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and, behold, a Greater-than-Solomon is here. ⁴³ But when the unclean spirit goes from a man, he goes through dry places seeking rest and does not find it . ⁴⁴ Then he says, I will return to my house from which I came out. And coming, he finds it standing empty, swept and decorated. ⁴⁵ Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more evil than himself, and entering dwells there. And the last things of that man become worse than the first. So it will be also to this evil generation. ⁴⁶ But while He was yet speaking to the crowds, behold, His mother and brothers were standing outside, seeking to speak to Him. ⁴⁷ Then one said to Him, Behold, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak to You. ⁴⁸ But answering, He said to the one speaking to Him, Who is My mother? And who are My brothers? ⁴⁹ And stretching out His hand to His disciples, He said, Behold, My mother and My brothers. ⁵⁰ For whoever shall do the will of My Father in Heaven, that one is My brother and sister and mother.

²⁵ When you come into your neighbor's standing grain, then you may pluck heads with your hand; but you shall not move a sickle into your neighbor's standing grain.

²³ And it happened, He went along through the grain fields in the sabbaths. And His disciples began to make way, plucking the heads of grain . ²⁴ And the Pharisees said to Him, Behold, why do they do that which is not lawful on the sabbaths? ²⁵ And He said to them, Did you never read what David did when he had need and hungered, he and those with him, ²⁶ how he entered the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the Loaves of Arrangement, which it is not lawful to eat, except for the priests, and he even gave to those being with him? ²⁷ And He said to them, The sabbath came into being for man's sake, not man for the sabbath's sake. ²⁸ So then the Son of man is Lord of the sabbath also.

¹ And it happened on the second chief sabbath, He passed along through the sown fields. And His disciples plucked the heads and were eating, rubbing with the hands. ² But some of the Pharisees said to them, Why do you do that which is not lawful to do on the sabbaths? ³ And answering, Jesus said to them, Have you never read this, what David did when he hungered, and those being with him? ⁴ How he went into the house of God, and he took the Loaves of Arrangement, and ate, and even gave to those with him, which it is not lawful to eat, except only the priests? ⁵ And He said to them, The Son of man is Lord of the sabbath also.

⁹ six days you shall labor and do all your work; ¹⁰ and the seventh day is a sabbath to Jehovah your God; you shall not do any work, you, and your son, and your daughter, your male slave and your slave-girl, and your livestock, and your stranger who is in your gates. ¹¹ For in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all which is in them, and He rested on the seventh day; on account of this Jehovah blessed the sabbath day and sanctified it.

¹² You shall do your work six days, and on the seventh day you shall rest, so that your ox and your ass may rest, and the son of your slave-girl and your alien may be refreshed.

¹⁵ Work may be done six days, and on the seventh day is a sabbath of rest, holy to Jehovah; everyone doing work on the Sabbath day surely shall be put to death. ¹⁶ And the sons of Israel shall observe the Sabbath, to do the Sabbath for their generations; it is a never ending covenant. ¹⁷ It is a sign forever between Me and the sons of Israel; for in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.

² Work may be done six days and on the seventh day it shall be holy to you, a sabbath of rest to Jehovah; everyone doing work in it shall be put to death.

³² And while the sons of Israel were in the wilderness they found a man gathering sticks on the sabbath day. ³³ And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation. ³⁴ And they put him under guard; for it had not been declared what should be done to him. ³⁵ And Jehovah said to Moses, The man shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp. ³⁶ And all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him with stones. And he died, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

¹³ If you turn your foot away because of the sabbath, from doing what you please on My holy days, and call the sabbath a delight, glorified to the holiness of doing your own ways, from finding your own pleasure or speaking your word;

¹⁰ And, behold, a man having a withered hand was there. And they asked Him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbaths? (that they might accuse Him).

² And they watched Him, whether He will heal him on the sabbaths, that they might accuse Him. ³ And He said to the man who had a withering of the hand, Rise up into the middle. ⁴ And He said to them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbaths, or to do evil? To save a soul, or to kill? But they were silent. ⁵ And having looked around on them with anger, being greatly grieved over the hardness of their heart, He said to the man, Stretch out your hand! And he stretched out, and his hand was restored sound as the other.

⁶ And it also happened on another sabbath, He going into the synagogue and teaching. And a man was there, and his right hand was withered. ⁷ And the scribes and the Pharisees kept close by Him, to see if He would heal on the sabbath, so that they might find a charge against Him. ⁸ But He knew their reasonings. And He said to the man having the withered hand, Rise up and stand in the middle! And rising up, he stood. ⁹ Then Jesus said to them, I will ask you one thing, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbaths, or to do ill, to save a life, or to destroy it ? ¹⁰ And having looked around at them all, He said to the man, Stretch out your hand! And he did so. And his hand was restored sound as the other. ¹¹ But they were filled with madness and talked to one another as to what they might do to Jesus.

¹⁰ And He was teaching in one of the synagogues on one of the sabbaths. ¹¹ And, behold, there was a woman having a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent together and was not able to be completely erect. ¹² And seeing her, Jesus called her near and said to her, Woman, you have been freed from your infirmity. ¹³ And He laid hands on her. And instantly she was made erect and glorified God. ¹⁴ But answering, being angry that Jesus healed on the sabbath, the synagogue ruler said to the crowd, There are six days in which it is right to work. Therefore, coming in these, be healed, and not on the sabbath day. ¹⁵ Then the Lord answered him and said, Hypocrite! Each one of you on the sabbath, does he not untie his ox or ass from the manger, and leading it away, give it drink? ¹⁶ And this one being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound, lo, eighteen years, ought she not to be freed from this bond on the sabbath day? ¹⁷ And on His saying these things, all who were opposed to Him were ashamed. And all the crowd rejoiced over all the glorious things taking place by Him.

³ And answering, Jesus spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees, asking whether it is lawful to heal on the sabbath.

⁵⁶ And returning, they prepared spices and ointment. And indeed they rested on the sabbath, according to the commandment.

⁹ And instantly the man became well, and took up his cot and walked. And it was a sabbath that day. ¹⁰ Then the Jews said to the one having been healed, It is a sabbath. It is not lawful for you to lift up the cot. ¹¹ He answered them, The One making me well, that One said to me, Lift up your cot and walk.

¹⁶ And because of this, the Jews persecuted Jesus and lusted to kill Him, because He did these things on a sabbath. ¹⁷ But Jesus answered them, My Father works until now, and I work.

²¹ Jesus answered and said to them, I did one work, and you all marvel. ²² Because of this Moses has given you circumcision; (not that it is of Moses, but of the fathers); and on a sabbath, you circumcise a man. ²³ If a man receives circumcision on a sabbath, that the Law of Moses is not broken, are you angry with Me because I made a man entirely sound on a sabbath? ²⁴ Do not judge according to sight, but judge righteous judgment.

¹⁴ And it was a sabbath when Jesus made the clay and opened his eyes. ¹⁵ Then also the Pharisees again asked him how he received sight. And he said to them, He put clay on my eyes, and I washed, and I see. ¹⁶ Then some of the Pharisees said, This man is not from God, because He does not keep the sabbath. Others said, How can a man, a sinner, do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

³ And now, what is there under your hand? Give five loaves into my hand, or whatever is found. ⁴ And the priest answered David and said, There is no common bread under my hand, but only holy bread, if the young men have only been kept from a woman. ⁵ And David answered the priest and said to him, Surely, a woman has been kept from us as yesterday and the third day, since I came out, and the vessels of the young men are holy. And in a way the holy bread is common; also surely today it is sanctified in the vessels. ⁶ And the priest gave the holy bread to him, for there was no bread there except the Bread of the Presence which is taken from the presence of Jehovah in order to put hot bread in on the day it is taken away.

⁵ Or have you not read in the Law that on the sabbaths the priests in the temple profane the sabbath and are guiltless?

⁴ But answering, He said to them, Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning "created them male and female"? Gen. 1:27

¹⁶ And they said to Him, Do you hear what these say? And Jesus said to them, Yes. Did you never read, "Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings You have perfected praise?" LXX-Psa. 8:3; MT-Psa. 8:2

³¹ But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read that spoken to you by God, saying:

²⁵ And He said to them, Did you never read what David did when he had need and hungered, he and those with him, ²⁶ how he entered the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the Loaves of Arrangement, which it is not lawful to eat, except for the priests, and he even gave to those being with him?

¹⁰ Have you not even read this Scripture: The "Stone which the builders rejected, this one became head of the corner;

²⁶ But concerning the dead, that they are raised, have you not read in the book of Moses, as God spoke to him at the Bush, saying, "I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob"? Ex. 3:6

³ And answering, Jesus said to them, Have you never read this, what David did when he hungered, and those being with him?

²⁶ And He said to him, What has been written in the Law? How do you read it ?

³⁰ And you shall put the Bread of the Presence on the table before Me continually.

³² And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram and the bread which is in the basket at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. ³³ And they shall eat those things by which atonement is made to consecrate them, to sanctify them; and a stranger shall not eat, for they are holy.

³¹ And Moses said to Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and you shall eat it there, and the bread in the basket of the consecrations, as I have commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it.

⁵ And you shall take flour, and shall bake twelve cakes with it; two tenths shall be in the one cake. ⁶ And you shall set them in two rows, six on a row on the pure table before Jehovah. ⁷ And you shall put pure frankincense on the row, and it shall be the bread of a memorial, a fire offering to Jehovah. ⁸ On each sabbath day he shall arrange it before Jehovah continually, from the sons of Israel, a never ending covenant. ⁹ And it shall belong to Aaron and to his sons, and they shall eat it in the sanctuary, for it is most holy to him, from the fire offerings of Jehovah, a never ending statute.

⁹ And on the sabbath day, two lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones, and two tenth parts of flour, a food offering mixed with oil, and its drink offering; ¹⁰ the burnt offering of the sabbath on its sabbath, besides the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.

¹⁷ And I contended with the nobles of Judah and said to them, What is this evil thing that you do, defiling the Sabbath day?

²¹ Speak to the house of Israel, So says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will profane My sanctuary, the pride of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pities. And your sons and your daughters whom you have forsaken shall fall by the sword.

²² Because of this Moses has given you circumcision; (not that it is of Moses, but of the fathers); and on a sabbath, you circumcise a man. ²³ If a man receives circumcision on a sabbath, that the Law of Moses is not broken, are you angry with Me because I made a man entirely sound on a sabbath?

¹⁸ For is it true that God shall dwell with men on the earth? Behold, the heavens, and the heaven of heavens, do not contain You. How much less this house that I have built!

And I will fill this house with glory, says Jehovah of hosts. ⁸ The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says Jehovah of hosts. ⁹ The glory of this latter house shall be greater than that of the former, says Jehovah of hosts. And in this place I will give peace, says Jehovah of hosts.

¹ Behold, I am sending My messenger, and He will clear the way before Me. And the Lord whom you are seeking shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Angel of the Covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He comes, says Jehovah of hosts.

¹⁷ Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gold, or the Holy Place that sanctifies the gold? ¹⁸ And you say, Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift on it, he is a debtor. ¹⁹ Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift? ²⁰ Then the one swearing by the altar swears by it, and by all things on it. ²¹ And the one swearing by the Holy Place swears by it, and by the One dwelling in it.

¹⁹ Jesus said to them, Destroy this sanctuary, and in three days I will raise it up. ²⁰ Then the Jews said, This sanctuary was forty six years being built, and do you raise it up in three days? ²¹ But He spoke about the sanctuary of His body.

²⁰ being built up on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the cornerstone, ²¹ in whom every building having been fitted together grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord, ²² in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

⁹ For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;

⁴ to whom having drawn near, a living Stone, indeed having been rejected by men, but chosen by God, precious; ⁵ you also as living stones are being built a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

³ Also his wrath burned against his three friends, because they had not found any answer, yet they had condemned Job.

²¹ They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the blood of the innocent.

³¹ For He shall stand at the right hand of the needy; to save from those judging his soul.

¹⁵ He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, even both of them are disgusting to Jehovah.

¹¹ What good to Me are your many sacrifices, says Jehovah? I am full of burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fattened cattle, and the blood of bulls; nor do I delight in the blood of lambs and he goats. ¹² When you come to see My face, who has required this at your hand, to trample My courts? ¹³ Do not add to bringing vain sacrifice; its incense is an abomination to Me. I cannot endure the new moon and sabbath, the going to meeting, and the evil assembly. ¹⁴ My soul hates your new moons and your appointed feasts. They are a burden to Me. I am weary of bearing them . ¹⁵ And when you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you. Yea, when you multiply prayer, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood. ¹⁶ Wash yourselves, purify yourselves. Put away the evil of your doings from My sight; stop doing evil. ¹⁷ Learn to do good, seek justice, reprove the oppressor, judge the orphan, strive for the widow.

⁶ For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

⁶ With what shall I come before Jehovah, to bow myself before the loftiness of God? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves, sons of a year? ⁷ Will Jehovah be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of torrents of oil? Shall I give my first-born for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? ⁸ O man, He has declared to you what is good. And what does Jehovah require of you, but to do justice, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

¹³ But going, learn what this is, "I desire mercy and not sacrifice." For I did not come to call righteous ones, but sinners to repentance. Hos. 6:6

²⁹ And answering, Jesus said to them, You err, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God.

²⁷ For those dwelling in Jerusalem, and their rulers, not having known this One, and the voices of the prophets being read throughout every sabbath, condemning Him, they fulfilled the Scriptures .

⁶ you condemned; you murdered the righteous; he does not resist you.

²⁰ And Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven have nests, but the Son of man has nowhere He may lay His head.

⁶ But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins, then He said to the paralytic, Rising up, lift up your cot and go to your house.

²⁸ So then the Son of man is Lord of the sabbath also.

⁴ And Elijah with Moses was seen by them, and they were speaking with Jesus. ⁵ And answering, Peter said to Jesus, Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; and, Let us make three tents, one for You, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah. ⁶ For he did not know what to say, for they were very fearful. ⁷ And a cloud was overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My Son," the Beloved; hear Him. Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Deut. 18:15

⁵ And He said to them, The Son of man is Lord of the sabbath also.

¹⁷ But Jesus answered them, My Father works until now, and I work. ¹⁸ Because of this, therefore, the Jews lusted the more to kill Him, for not only did He break the sabbath, but also called God His own Father, making Himself equal to God. ¹⁹ Then Jesus answered and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son is not able to do anything from Himself, except what He may see the Father doing; for whatever that One does, these things also the Son does the same way. ²⁰ For the Father loves the Son and shows to Him all things which He does. And He will show Him greater works than these in order that you may marvel. ²¹ For even as the Father raises the dead, and gives life, so also the Son gives life to whomever He wills. ²² For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, ²³ so that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. The one not honoring the Son does not honor the Father who has sent Him.

²¹ to those without Law as without Law (not being without law of God, but under the law of Christ), that I might gain those without Law.

² On the first of a week, let each of you put by himself, storing up whatever he is prospered, that there not be collections then when I come.

¹⁰ I came to be in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

⁴ And it happened when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God which he had cried against the altar in Bethel, he put out his hand from the altar, saying, Seize him. And his hand which he put out against him withered, and he was not able to bring it back to him. ⁵ And the altar was torn, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign that the man of God had given by the word of Jehovah. ⁶ And the king answered and said to the man of God, Please entreat the face of Jehovah your God, and pray for me, and my hand shall come back to me. And the man of God entreated the face of Jehovah, and the hand of the king came back to him, and it was as at the beginning.

⁶ For the fool speaks foolishness, and his heart works iniquity, to do ungodliness; and to speak error against Jehovah, to make the hungry soul empty; and he causes the drink of the thirsty to fail.

⁴ No one calls for righteousness; and no one pleads with truth. Trusting emptiness, and speaking vanity, they conceive mischief, and give birth to evil.

¹³ transgressing and lying against Jehovah, and departing from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and murmuring words of falsehood from the heart.

¹⁷ Woe to the worthless shepherd who abandons the flock! The sword shall be against his arm and against his right eye. His arm shall be completely withered, and his right eye shall be totally darkened.

² But seeing, the Pharisees said to Him, Behold, your disciples are doing what it is not lawful to do on the sabbath.

³ And the Pharisees came near to Him, tempting Him, and saying to Him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every reason?

¹⁷ Then tell us, what do you think? Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not? ¹⁸ But knowing their wickedness, Jesus said, Why do you test Me, hypocrites?

⁶ And it also happened on another sabbath, He going into the synagogue and teaching. And a man was there, and his right hand was withered. ⁷ And the scribes and the Pharisees kept close by Him, to see if He would heal on the sabbath, so that they might find a charge against Him.

⁵⁴ lying in ambush for Him, and seeking to catch something out of His mouth that they might accuse Him.

¹⁴ But answering, being angry that Jesus healed on the sabbath, the synagogue ruler said to the crowd, There are six days in which it is right to work. Therefore, coming in these, be healed, and not on the sabbath day.

³ And answering, Jesus spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees, asking whether it is lawful to heal on the sabbath. ⁴ And they were silent. And taking the man, He cured him and let him go. ⁵ And answering to them He said, Whose ass or ox of yours shall fall into a pit, and he will not at once pull it up on the sabbath day? ⁶ And they were not able to reply to Him against these things.

²² Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

² And they began to accuse Him, saying, We found this one perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying himself to be a king, Christ.

¹⁴ Pilate said to them, You brought this man to me as perverting the people. And, behold, examining him before you, I found nothing blameable in this man regarding that which you charge against him.

³ In these was a great multitude of the infirm lying, blind ones, lame ones, withered ones, awaiting the stirring of the water.

¹⁰ Then the Jews said to the one having been healed, It is a sabbath. It is not lawful for you to lift up the cot.

⁶ But they said this, tempting Him, that they may have reason to accuse Him. But bending down, Jesus wrote with the finger in the earth, not appearing to hear .

¹⁶ Then some of the Pharisees said, This man is not from God, because He does not keep the sabbath. Others said, How can a man, a sinner, do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

⁴ When you happen on the ox of your enemy, or his wandering ass, you shall surely return it to him. ⁵ When you see the ass of one who hates you crouching under its burden, you shall refrain from leaving it to him; you shall surely loose it from him.

⁴ You shall not see your brother's ass or his ox fallen down in the highway, and hide yourself from them. You shall surely help him lift up.

⁵ And answering to them He said, Whose ass or ox of yours shall fall into a pit, and he will not at once pull it up on the sabbath day?

²⁶ Observe the birds of the heaven, that they do not sow, nor do they reap, nor do they gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Do you not rather excel them?

³¹ Then do not fear; you are better than many sparrows.

⁴ And He said to them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbaths, or to do evil? To save a soul, or to kill? But they were silent.

⁹ Then Jesus said to them, I will ask you one thing, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbaths, or to do ill, to save a life, or to destroy it ?

²⁴ Consider the ravens, for they do not sow, nor do they reap; to which there is no storehouse or barn, and God feeds them. How much rather you differ from the birds!

¹³ And He laid hands on her. And instantly she was made erect and glorified God.

⁷ And taking him by the right hand, he raised him up. And immediately his feet and ankle-bones were made firm. ⁸ And leaping up, he stood and walked, and went with them into the temple, walking and leaping, and praising God.

⁴ And they plotted together in order that they might seize Jesus by guile and kill Him .

¹ And it becoming early morning, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel together against Jesus, so as to put Him to death.

⁶ And going out, the Pharisees at once took counsel with the Herodians against Him, how they might destroy Him.

¹¹ But they were filled with madness and talked to one another as to what they might do to Jesus.

¹⁸ Because of this, therefore, the Jews lusted the more to kill Him, for not only did He break the sabbath, but also called God His own Father, making Himself equal to God.

³⁹ Then again they sought to seize Him. And He went forth out of their hand.

⁵³ Then from that day, they took counsel that they might kill Him.

⁵⁷ And all the chief priests and the Pharisees had given commands that if anyone knew where He is, he should inform so that they might seize Him.

²³ And Jesus went around all Galilee teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every one of the illnesses among the people. ²⁴ And the report of Him went out into all Syria. And they brought to Him all the ones having illness, suffering various diseases and torments, also those having been demon-possessed, and those having been moonstruck, and paralytics; and He healed them. ²⁵ And many crowds followed Him from Galilee and Decapolis, and Jerusalem, and Judea, and beyond the Jordan.

²³ But when they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For truly I say to you, In no way will you have finished the cities of Israel until the Son of man comes.

² And great crowds followed Him, and He healed them there.

⁷ And Jesus withdrew to the sea with His disciples; and a great multitude from Galilee and from Judea followed Him, ⁸ also some from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and beyond the Jordan, also those around Tyre and Sidon. A great multitude came to Him, hearing how much He was doing. ⁹ And He spoke to His disciples that a small boat should stay near to Him because of the crowd, that they might not press upon Him. ¹⁰ For He healed many, so that they fell on Him, that they might touch Him, as many as had plagues. ¹¹ And when the unclean spirits saw Him, they fell down before Him, and cried out, saying, You are the Son of God! ¹² And he warned them very much that they should not reveal Him.

⁵⁶ And wherever He went into villages or cities or fields, they laid the ailing ones in the markets and begged Him if only they may touch the fringe of His garment. And as many as touched Him were healed.

¹² And it happened in these days, He went out into the mountain to pray. And He was spending the night in prayer to God.

¹⁷ And coming down with them, he stood on a level place. And a crowd of His disciples, and a great multitude of the people were there from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the coast country of Tyre and Sidon. These came to hear Him, and to be healed from their diseases, ¹⁸ also those who had been tormented by unclean spirits. And they were healed. ¹⁹ And all the crowd sought to touch Him, because power went out from Him and healed all.

¹ And after these things Jesus was walking in Galilee; for He did not desire to walk in Judea, because the Jews were lusting to kill Him.

⁴ It is necessary for Me to work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day. Night comes when no one is able to work.

⁴⁰ And He went away again across the Jordan to the place where John was at first baptizing and remained there. ⁴¹ And many came to Him and said, John indeed did no miracle, but all things that John said concerning this One were true. ⁴² And many believed into Him there.

⁵⁴ Then Jesus no longer walked publicly among the Jews, but went away from there into the country near a deserted place, to a city being called Ephraim, and stayed there with His disciples.

⁹ But we should not weaken in doing good, for in due time we shall reap, if we do not faint.

²¹ For you were called to this, for even Christ suffered on our behalf, leaving behind an example for us, that you should follow His steps;

⁴ And Jesus said to him, See that you tell no one, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift which Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.

³⁰ And their eyes were opened. And Jesus strictly ordered them, saying, See, let no one know.

⁹ And as they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no one until the Son of man is raised from the dead.

³⁶ And He ordered them that they should tell no one. But as much as He ordered them, much more abundantly they proclaimed.

¹⁴ And He charged him to tell no one. But going away, show yourself to the priest and offer concerning your cleansing, as Moses commanded, for a testimony to them. ¹⁵ But the word about Him spread even more. And large crowds were coming to hear and to be healed from their infirmities by Him.

²² Let them draw near and tell us what shall happen; the former things, let them reveal what they are, that we may set our heart and know their end; or declare to us the coming things. ²³ Reveal the near things hereafter, so that we may know that you are gods. Yea, do good, or do evil, that we may gaze and see together.

¹ Behold My Servant; I will uphold Him; My Elect in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit on Him; He shall bring forth justice to the nations. ² He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. ³ A bruised reed He shall not break, and a smoking wick He shall not quench; He shall bring forth justice to truth. ⁴ He shall not fail nor be crushed until He has set justice in the earth; and the coasts shall wait for His law.

⁹ Behold, the former things have come to pass, and I declare new things before they happen, I cause you to hear.

²⁶ He confirms the word of His servant, and completes the counsel of His messengers. He says to Jerusalem, You will be filled; and to the cities of Judah, You shall be built; and, I will raise up its ruins.

¹⁷ so that it might be fulfilled that spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, "He took upon Himself our weaknesses, and bore our sicknesses." Isa. 53:4

³⁵ so that was fulfilled that spoken through the prophet, saying: "I will open My mouth in parables; I will say things hidden from the foundation of the world." Psa. 78:2

⁴ But all this happened that might be fulfilled that spoken by the prophet, saying:

²² For these are days of vengeance when all things that have been written are to be fulfilled.

⁴⁴ And He said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you yet being with you, that must be fulfilled all the things having been written in the Law of Moses, and the Prophets, and the Psalms, concerning Me.

³⁵ If He called those gods with whom the Word of God was, and the Scripture cannot be broken,

³⁸ so that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he said, "Lord, who has believed our report? And the arm of the Lord, to whom was it revealed?" Isa. 53:1

²⁸ After this, knowing that all things have now been finished that the Scripture be completed, Jesus said, I thirst.

¹⁹ Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one; and You said, I have laid help on a mighty one. I have exalted a chosen one from the people.

² And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest on Him; He will have the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and power, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah.

¹⁵ until is poured out on us the Spirit from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field; and the fruitful field is reckoned as a forest. ¹⁶ Then justice shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness shall dwell in the fruitful field.

¹ Behold My Servant; I will uphold Him; My Elect in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit on Him; He shall bring forth justice to the nations.

¹ Hear Me, coastlands, and you people from afar, and prick up your ear, Jehovah called Me from the womb; He mentioned My name from My mother's belly. ² And He made My mouth like a sharp sword; He hid Me in the shadow of His hand, and made Me a polished arrow; He hid me in His quiver; ³ and said to Me, You are My servant, Israel, You in whom I shall be glorified.

⁵ And now, says Jehovah who formed Me from the womb to be His servant, to bring Jacob back to Him: Though Israel is not gathered, yet I am honored in the eye of Jehovah, and My God is My strength. ⁶ And He said, It is too little that You should be My servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You for a light of the nations, that You may be My salvation to the end of the earth.

¹³ Behold, My Servant shall rule wisely; He shall be exalted and lifted up and be very high.

¹¹ He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul; He shall be fully satisfied. By His knowledge shall My righteous Servant justify for many, and He shall bear their iniquities.

²⁰ And the Redeemer comes to Zion, and to those in Jacob who turn from transgression, declares Jehovah. ²¹ As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says Jehovah: My Spirit who is on you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouth of your seed, or out of the mouth of your seed's seed, from now on and forever, says Jehovah.

² For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples. But Jehovah shall rise on you, and His glory shall be seen on you. ³ And nations shall walk to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawning.

¹ The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is on Me, because Jehovah has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the meek. He has sent Me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to captives, and complete opening to the bound ones; ² to proclaim the acceptable year of Jehovah, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; ³ to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of the spirit of infirmity, so that one calls them trees of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, in order to beautify Himself.

² And nations shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory. And you shall be called by a new name which the mouth of Jehovah shall name.

¹⁹ O Jehovah, my strength and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the nations shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, Our fathers have inherited only lies, vanity, and there is no profit in them.

⁸ Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, you and your associates who are sitting before you; for they are men of symbol.

¹⁶ And having been baptized, Jesus went up immediately from the water. And, behold! The heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God coming down as a dove, and coming upon Him. ¹⁷ And behold! A voice out of the heaven saying, This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I have found delight. Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1

⁵ While he was yet speaking, behold, a radiant cloud overshadowed them. And, behold, a voice out of the cloud saying, This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I delight; hear Him. Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1; Deut. 18:15

¹¹ And there was a voice out of the heavens, You are My Son, the Beloved, in whom I take delight. Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1

⁷ And a cloud was overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My Son," the Beloved; hear Him. Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Deut. 18:15

³¹ which You prepared before the face of all the peoples; ³² a Light for revelation to the nations, and the Glory of Your people Israel.

²² and the Holy Spirit came down in a bodily form as a dove upon Him. And there was a voice out of Heaven, saying, You are My Son, the Beloved; I am delighted in You. Psa. 2:7; Gen 22:2; Isa. 42:1

¹⁸ " The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me. Because of this He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me" to heal the brokenhearted, "to preach remission to captives and new sight to the blind," to send away the ones having been crushed in deliverance,

³⁵ And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is My Son, the Beloved; hear Him! Psa. 2:7; Isa. 42:1; Deut. 18:15

³⁵ And the people stood watching. And the rulers with them also scoffed, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if this one is the Christ, the elect of God.

³² And John witnessed, saying, I have seen the Spirit coming down as a dove out of Heaven, and He abode on Him. ³³ And I did not know Him, but the One sending me to baptize in water, that One said to me, On whomever you see the Spirit coming down and abiding on Him, this is the One baptizing in the Holy Spirit. ³⁴ And I have seen and have witnessed that this One is the Son of God.

³⁴ For the One whom God sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure.

³⁸ Jesus the One from Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all those having been oppressed by the Devil, because God was with Him.

¹⁸ And hearing these things, they kept silent and glorified God, saying, Then God also has granted to the nations repentance unto life.

⁴⁶ But speaking boldly, Paul and Barnabas said, It was necessary for the Word of God to be spoken first to you; but since you indeed thrust it away and judge yourselves not worthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the nations. ⁴⁷ For so the Lord has commanded us, "I have set You for a Light of nations, that You be for salvation to the end of the earth." Isa. 49:6 ⁴⁸ And hearing, the nations rejoiced and glorified the Word of the Lord. And as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.

²⁷ And having arrived, and gathering the church, they reported what things God did with them and that He opened a door of faith to the nations.

¹⁷ having delivered you from the people and the nations, to whom I now send you, ¹⁸ to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, in order that they may receive remission of sins, and an inheritance among those being sanctified by faith in Me.

⁹ and for the nations to glorify God for mercy, even as it has been written, "Because of this I will confess to You in the nations, and I will give praise to Your name." Psa. 18:49 ¹⁰ And again He says, "Rejoice, nations, with His people." Deut. 32:43 ¹¹ And again, "Praise the Lord, all the nations, and praise Him all the peoples." Psa. 117:1 ¹² And again Isaiah says, "The Root of Jesse shall be, and He rising up to rule the nations; on Him nations will hope." Isa. 11:10

⁶ to the praise of the glory of His grace in which He favored us in the One having been loved,

¹¹ Because of this, remember that you, the nations, were then in the flesh (those having been called Uncircumcision by those having been called Circumcision in the flesh made by hand) ¹² that at that time you were without Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers of the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. ¹³ But now, in Christ Jesus you who then were afar off came to be near by the blood of Christ.

⁵ which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations, as it now has been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit, ⁶ for the nations to be joint-heirs, and a joint-body and joint-sharers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, ⁷ of which I was made a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me, according to the working of His power. ⁸ This grace was given to me, less than the least of all the saints, to proclaim the gospel of the unsearchable riches of Christ among the nations,

⁶ who subsisting in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God, ⁷ but emptied Himself, taking the form of a slave, having become in the likeness of men

¹ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Timothy the brother,

¹³ who delivered us out of the authority of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

⁴ to whom having drawn near, a living Stone, indeed having been rejected by men, but chosen by God, precious;

¹⁷ For receiving honor and glory from God the Father such a voice being borne to Him from the magnificent glory, "This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I was well pleased," Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1; Matt. 17:5

⁹ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King comes to you! He is righteous and victorious, lowly, and riding on an ass, even on a colt, the son of an ass.

²⁹ Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, because I am meek and lowly in heart, "and you will find rest to your souls." Jer. 6:16

²⁰ And being questioned by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God comes, He answered them and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation;

³⁶ Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would have fought that I might not be delivered up to the Jews. But now My kingdom is not from here. ³⁷ Then Pilate said to Him, Are you really a king? Jesus answered, You say that I am a king. For this purpose I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I might witness to the Truth. Everyone being of the Truth hears My voice. ³⁸ Pilate said to Him, What is truth? And saying this, he again went out to the Jews and said to them, I do not find even one crime in him!

¹ And I myself, Paul, call on you through the meekness and gentleness of Christ (I, who indeed to look upon am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you);

²⁴ But a slave of the Lord ought not to quarrel, but to be gentle towards all, apt to teach, forbearing, ²⁵ in meekness teaching those who have opposed, if perhaps God may give them repentance for a full knowledge of the truth,

²¹ Now, behold, you have trusted for yourself on the staff of this broken reed, on Egypt, which if a man lean on it, it will go into his hand and pierce it! So is Pharaoh the king of Egypt to all those who trust in him.

¹⁷ The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.

¹ A Psalm. O sing to Jehovah a new song, for He has done wondrous things; His right hand and His holy arm has saved Him. ² Jehovah has revealed His salvation; He unveiled His righteousness to the eyes of the nations. ³ He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

³ He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their sorrows.

¹¹ He shall feed His flock like a shepherd; He shall gather lambs with His arm; and carry them in His bosom; those with young He will lead;

¹⁵ For so says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, and His name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, even with the contrite and humble of spirit; to make live the spirit of the humble and to make live the heart of the contrite ones.

³¹ For the Lord will not cast off forever. ³² For though He causes grief, He will have pity according to His many kindnesses. ³³ For He does not afflict from His heart, nor does He grieve the sons of man, ³⁴ to crush all the prisoners of earth under His feet,

¹⁶ I will seek the lost, and I will return the banished. And I will bind up the broken, and I will make the weak strong. But I will destroy the fat and the strong, I will feed them with judgment.

²⁸ Come to Me, all those laboring and being burdened, and I will give you rest.

¹⁷ Therefore I have boasting in Christ Jesus as to the things pertaining to God. ¹⁸ For I will not dare to speak of anything which Christ did not work out through me for the obedience of the nations in word and work, ¹⁹ in power of miracles and wonders, in power of the Spirit of God, so as for me to have fulfilled the preaching of the gospel of Christ from Jerusalem and in a circle as far as Illyricum.

⁷ So that on the contrary, you should rather forgive and comfort such a one, that he not be swallowed up by the overflowing grief.

¹⁴ But thanks be to God, He always leading us in triumph in Christ, and the One revealing through us the odor of the knowledge of Him in every place.

³ For walking about in flesh, we do not war according to flesh; ⁴ for the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful to God in order to pull down strongholds, ⁵ pulling down imaginations and every high thing lifting up itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ,

¹² Because of this, "straighten the hands" hanging alongside, "and the enfeebled knees;" ¹³ "and make straight tracks for your feet," that the lame not be turned aside, but rather healed. Isa. 35:3; Prov. 4:26

² And I saw, and behold, a white horse! And the one sitting on it had a bow. And a crown was given to him, and he went out overcoming, and that he might overcome.

¹¹ And I saw Heaven being opened. And, behold! A white horse, and He sitting on it having been called Faithful and True. And He judges and wars in righteousness. ¹² And His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head many diadems, having a name that had been written, which no one knows except Himself; ¹³ and having been clothed in a garment which had been dipped in blood. And His name is called The Word of God. ¹⁴ And the armies in Heaven followed Him on white horses, being dressed in fine linen, white and pure. ¹⁵ And out of His mouth goes forth a sharp sword, that with it He might smite the nations. And He will shepherd them with an iron rod. And He treads the winepress of the wine of the anger and of the wrath of God Almighty. ¹⁶ And He has on His garment and on His thigh a name having been written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. ¹⁷ And I saw one angel standing in the sun. And he cried with a great voice, saying to all the birds flying in mid-heaven, Come and gather together to the supper of the great God, ¹⁸ that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of commanders, and the flesh of strong ones, and the flesh of horses, and of the ones sitting on them, and the flesh of all, both freemen and slaves, even of the small and great. ¹⁹ And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth, and their armies being assembled to make war with the One sitting on the horse, and with His army. ²⁰ And the beast was seized, and with this one the false prophet doing signs before it, by which he led astray those having received the mark of the beast, and those worshiping its image. The two were thrown alive into the Lake of Fire burning with brimstone. ²¹ And the rest were killed with the sword of the One sitting on the horse, it having gone out of His mouth. And all the birds were filled from their flesh.

¹⁰ And it shall be in that day, the Root of Jesse stands as a banner of peoples; nations shall seek to Him; and His resting place shall be glory.

⁴ He shall not fail nor be crushed until He has set justice in the earth; and the coasts shall wait for His law.

¹² And again Isaiah says, "The Root of Jesse shall be, and He rising up to rule the nations; on Him nations will hope." Isa. 11:10 ¹³ And may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, for you to abound in hope, in power of the Holy Spirit.

¹² for us to be to the praise of His glory, the ones who had previously trusted in Christ; ¹³ in whom also you, hearing the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also believing you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

²⁷ to whom God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the nations, who is Christ in you, the hope of glory;

¹⁵ O Lord, open my lips and my mouth shall declare Your praise.

¹⁸ And in that day the deaf shall hear the words of a book; and the eyes of the blind shall see out of their gloom and out of darkness.

³ And the eyes of those that see shall not be dim, and the ears of those who hear shall listen. ⁴ And the heart of the rash shall discern knowledge; and the tongue of those that stutter shall hurry to speak clear things.

⁵ Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf opened. ⁶ Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing. For waters shall break out in the wilderness, and streams in the desert.

²⁴ And the report of Him went out into all Syria. And they brought to Him all the ones having illness, suffering various diseases and torments, also those having been demon-possessed, and those having been moonstruck, and paralytics; and He healed them.

³² And as they were going out, behold, they brought to Him a dumb man who had been possessed by a demon. ³³ And the demon being cast out, the dumb one spoke. And the crowds marveled, saying, Never was it seen this way in Israel. ³⁴ But the Pharisees said, He casts out the demons by the ruler of the demons.

¹¹ And when the unclean spirits saw Him, they fell down before Him, and cried out, saying, You are the Son of God!

³⁵ And instantly his ears were opened, and the bond of his tongue was loosened, and he spoke correctly. ³⁶ And He ordered them that they should tell no one. But as much as He ordered them, much more abundantly they proclaimed. ³⁷ And they were most exceedingly amazed, saying, He has done all things well. He makes even the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.

¹⁷ And one answered out of the crowd, saying, Teacher, I brought my son to You, having a dumb spirit. ¹⁸ And wherever it seizes him, it dashes him; and he foams and gnashes his teeth. And he wastes away. And I told Your disciples, that they might expel it. And they were not able. ¹⁹ And answering them, He said, O unbelieving generation! How long will I be with you? How long shall I endure you? Bring him to Me. ²⁰ And they brought him to Him. And seeing Him, the spirit immediately convulsed him. And falling on the ground, he wallowed, foaming. ²¹ And He questioned his father, How long a time is it while this has happened to him? And he said, From childhood. ²² And often it threw him both into fire and into water, that it might destroy him. But if You are able to do anything, help us, having pity on us. ²³ And Jesus said to him, If you are able to believe, all things are possible to those believing. ²⁴ And immediately crying out, the father of the child said with tears, Lord, I believe! Help my unbelief! ²⁵ And seeing that a crowd is running together, Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, Dumb and deaf spirit, I command you, Come out from him, and you may no more go into him! ²⁶ And crying out, and convulsing him very much, it came out. And he became as if dead, so as for many to say that he died.

¹⁴ And He was casting out a demon, and it was dumb. And it happened as the demon was going out, the dumb one spoke. And the crowds marveled. ¹⁵ But some of them said, He casts out the demons by Beelzebub the chief of the demons.

¹⁸ to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, in order that they may receive remission of sins, and an inheritance among those being sanctified by faith in Me.

²⁷ And Jesus passing on from there, two blind ones followed Him, crying and saying, Have pity on us, Son of David.

³³ And the demon being cast out, the dumb one spoke. And the crowds marveled, saying, Never was it seen this way in Israel.

²² And, behold, a woman of Canaan coming forth from those borders cried out to Him, saying, Have pity on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is vilely demon-possessed.

³⁰ And great crowds came to Him, having with them lame ones, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others. And they flung them down at the feet of Jesus. And He healed them; ³¹ so that the crowds marveled, seeing the dumb speaking, the maimed sound, the lame walking, and the blind seeing. And they glorified the God of Israel.

⁹ And the crowd, the ones going before and the ones following, were crying out, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David! "Blessed is He coming in the name of the Lord"! Hosanna in the highest! Psa. 118:25, 26

⁴² saying, What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is He? They say to Him, David's. ⁴³ He said to them, Then how does David in Spirit call Him Lord, saying,

²⁹ Come, see a Man who told me all things, whatever I did. Is this One not the Christ?

⁴⁰ Then hearing the word, many of the crowd said, This is truly the Prophet. ⁴¹ Others said, This is the Christ. But others said, No! For does the Christ come out of Galilee? ⁴² Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was? Mic. 5:2

³⁴ But the Pharisees said, He casts out the demons by the ruler of the demons.

²² And coming down from Jerusalem, the scribes said, He has Beelzebub; and he casts out demons by the ruler of the demons.

¹⁵ But some of them said, He casts out the demons by Beelzebub the chief of the demons.

² You know my sitting down, and my rising up; You understand my thought from afar off.

²¹ Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh; together they are against Judah. In all this His anger does not turn away, but His hand is still stretched out.

² And I will stir up Egyptians against Egyptians; and they each man shall fight against his brother; and each against his neighbor; city against city, kingdom against kingdom. ³ And the spirit of the Egyptians shall be empty in its midst; and I will swallow its counsel. And they shall seek to idols, and to the enchanters, and to the mediums, and to the knowing ones.

¹⁰ I, Jehovah, search the heart, I try the reins, even to give to each man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

¹³ For, behold, He who forms mountains and creates the wind and declares to man what His thought is, He who makes the dawn darkness, and treads on the high places of the earth, Jehovah, the God of Hosts, is His name.

⁴ And seeing their thoughts, Jesus said, Why do you think evil in your hearts?

⁸ And instantly knowing in His spirit that they reasoned this way within themselves, Jesus said to them, Why do you reason these things in your hearts?

²³ And calling them near, He spoke to them in parables, saying, How can Satan cast out Satan? ²⁴ And if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. ²⁵ And if a house is divided against itself, that house is not able to stand. ²⁶ And if Satan rises upon himself, and has been divided, he is not able to stand, but he has an end. ²⁷ No one is able in any way to plunder the goods of the strong one, entering into his house, unless he first tie up the strong one; and then he will plunder his house.

¹⁷ But knowing their thoughts, He said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to ruin, and a house against a house falls. ¹⁸ And also if Satan is divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? Because you say I cast out the demons by Beelzebub. ¹⁹ And if I cast out the demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast out? Because of this they shall be your judges. ²⁰ But if I cast out the demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. ²¹ When the strong one, having been armed, guards his dwelling, his goods are in peace. ²² But as soon as one stronger than he comes, he overcomes him; he takes away his armor on which he relied, and deals out his arms.

²⁴ But Jesus Himself did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all, ²⁵ and because He had no need that anyone should witness concerning man, for He knew what was in man.

¹⁷ Thirdly, He said to him, Simon son of Jonah, do you love Me? Peter was grieved that He said to him a third time, Do you love Me? And he said to him, Lord, You perceive all things, You know that I love You! Jesus said to him, Feed My sheep!

¹¹ For who among men knows the things of a man, except the spirit of a man within him? So also no one has known the things of God except the Spirit of God.

¹⁵ But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you are not consumed by one another.

¹³ and there is no creature unrevealed before Him; but all things are naked and laid open to His eyes, with whom is our account.

²³ And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches will know that I am the One searching the inner parts and hearts. And I will give to each of you according to your works.

¹⁹ And the great city came to be into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the anger of His wrath.

¹⁶ And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, and will make her desolated and naked. And they will eat her flesh, and will burn her down with fire. ¹⁷ For God gave into their hearts to do His mind, and to act in one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

¹⁰ Then Jesus said to him, Go, Satan! For it has been written: "You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve Him only." Deut. 6:13

³¹ Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world shall be cast out.

³⁰ I shall no longer speak many things with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.

¹¹ and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

⁴ in whom the god of this age has blinded the thoughts of the unbelieving, so that the brightness of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.

¹⁹ We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in evil.

¹¹ And they have a king over them, the angel of the abyss. In Hebrew his name was Abaddon, and in Greek he has the name Apollyon.

⁹ And the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent being called Devil, and, Satan; he deceiving the whole habitable world was cast out onto the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

¹⁰ And the fifth angel poured out his bowl onto the throne of the beast. And its kingdom became darkened; and they gnawed their tongues from the pain.

² And he laid hold of the dragon, the old serpent who is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, ³ and threw him into the abyss, and shut him up, and sealed over him, that he should not still lead astray the nations, until the thousand years are fulfilled. And after these things, he must be set loose a little time.

³⁸ And John answered Him, saying, Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, who does not follow us. And we forbade him, because he does not follow us. ³⁹ But Jesus said, Do not forbid him. For there is no one who shall do a work of power in My name, yet be able to speak evil of Me quickly.

⁴⁹ And answering, John said, Master, we saw someone casting out demons on Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow with us. ⁵⁰ And Jesus said to them, Do not forbid, for whoever is not against us is for us.

¹⁹ And if I cast out the demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast out? Because of this they shall be your judges.

²² But he said to him, I will judge you out of your own mouth, wicked slave. You knew that I am an exacting man, taking what I did not lay down, and reaping what I did not sow.

¹³ But certain from the strolling Jews, exorcists, undertook to name the name of the Lord Jesus over those having evil spirits, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preaches. ¹⁴ And there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, doing this. ¹⁵ But answering the evil spirit said, I know Jesus, and I comprehend Paul, but who are you? ¹⁶ And the man in whom was the evil spirit leaped on them, and overcoming them, he was strong against them, and having been wounded, they fled out of the house naked.

¹⁹ But we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those within the Law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world be under judgment to God.

⁶ For a Child is born; to us a Son is given; and the government is on His shoulder; and His name is called Wonderful, Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. ⁷ There is no end to the increase of His government and of peace on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it, and to sustain it with justice and with righteousness, from now and forever. The zeal of Jehovah of Hosts will do this.

⁴⁴ And in the days of these kings, the God of Heaven shall set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed. And the kingdom shall not be left to other people. It shall break in pieces and destroy all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

¹⁴ And dominion was given to Him, and glory, and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

³³ But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

¹⁸ "Behold My Child whom I chose, My Beloved, in whom My soul has delighted! I will put My Spirit on Him, and He will declare judgment to the nations.

³¹ Which of the two did the will of the father? They said to Him, The first. Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, the tax collectors and the harlots go before you into the kingdom of God.

⁴³ Because of this I say to you, The kingdom of God will be taken from you, and it will be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits of it.

¹⁵ and saying, The time has been fulfilled, and the kingdom of God draws near. Repent and believe in the gospel.

¹⁰ Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!

¹⁷ And signs will follow to those believing these things: they will cast out demons in My name; they will speak new languages;

³² This One will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. ³³ And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of His kingdom there will be no end.

² And He sent them to proclaim the kingdom of God, and to heal the ones being sick.

¹¹ Even the dust clinging to us out of your city, we shake off against you! Yet know this, that the kingdom of God has drawn near to you!

²⁰ But if I cast out the demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

¹⁶ The Law and the Prophets were until John; from then the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is pressing into it.

²⁰ And being questioned by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God comes, He answered them and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation; ²¹ nor will they say, Lo, here! Or, Lo, there! For behold the kingdom of God is in your midst.

¹⁷ For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

²⁸ For this reason, receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us have grace, by which we may serve God pleasingly, with reverence and awe;

²⁴ Shall the plunder be taken from the warrior, or the righteous captive escape?

¹² Because of this I will divide to Him with the great, and with the strong He shall divide the spoil; because He poured out His soul to death; and He was counted with transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for transgressors.

²⁷ No one is able in any way to plunder the goods of the strong one, entering into his house, unless he first tie up the strong one; and then he will plunder his house.

⁸ The one practicing sin is of the Devil, because the Devil sins from the beginning. For this the Son of God was revealed, that He undo the works of the Devil.

⁴ Little children, you are of God and have overcome them, because He in you is greater than he in the world.

⁷ And war occurred in Heaven, Michael and his angels making war against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels made war, ⁸ but they did not have strength, nor yet was place found for them in Heaven. ⁹ And the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent being called Devil, and, Satan; he deceiving the whole habitable world was cast out onto the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. ¹⁰ And I heard a great voice saying in Heaven, Now has come the salvation and power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ, because the accuser of our brothers is thrown down, the one accusing them before our God day and night.

¹ And I saw an angel coming down out of Heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain on his hand.

⁷ And whenever the thousand years are ended, Satan will be set loose out of his prison, ⁸ and he will go to mislead the nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to assemble them in war, whose number is as the sand of the sea. ⁹ And they went up over the breadth of the land and encircled the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. And fire from God came down out of Heaven and burned them down.

¹⁰ The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the lawmaker from between his feet, until Shiloh come, and the obedience of the peoples to him.

¹³ And it happened, when Joshua was beside Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked. And, behold! A Man stood in front of him, and His drawn sword was in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, Are You for us, or for our foes?

¹⁵ And if it seems evil in your eyes to serve Jehovah, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve, whether the gods whom your fathers served Beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living. But as for me and my house, we will serve Jehovah.

¹⁷ And David went out before them, and answered and said to them, If you have come to me for peace, to help me, I have a heart to unite with yours. But if to betray me to my foe, there is no violence in my hand; the God of our fathers shall see and reprove. ¹⁸ And the Spirit enwrapped Amasai, the head of the thirty: To you, O David, and with you, O son of Jesse, peace! Peace to you, and peace to your helpers, for your God has helped you. And David received them, and put them among the heads of the band.

¹¹ And the sons of Judah and the sons of Israel shall be gathered together, and shall set over themselves one head. And they shall go up out of the land; for great shall be the day of Jezreel.

²⁴ No one is able to serve two lords; for either he will hate the one, and he will love the other; or he will cleave to the one, and he will despise the other. You are not able to serve God and wealth.

⁴⁰ For who is not against us is for us.

⁵⁰ And Jesus said to them, Do not forbid, for whoever is not against us is for us.

²³ The one not being with Me is against Me. And the one not gathering with me scatters.

⁵² and not only on behalf of the nation, but that He also might gather into one the children of God who had been scattered.

¹⁵ And what agreement does Christ have with Belial? Or what part does a believer have with an unbeliever? ¹⁶ And what agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are a temple of the living God, even as God said, "I will" dwell in them and "walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." Lev. 26:12; Ezek. 37:27

¹⁹ They went out from us, but they were not of us. For if they were of us, they would have remained with us; but they left so that it might be revealed that they all are not of us.

¹⁵ I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I would that you were cold, or hot. ¹⁶ So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to vomit you out of My mouth.

¹⁸ Come now and let us reason together, says Jehovah: Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red as the crimson, they shall be like wool.

⁷ Let the wicked forsake his way and the vain man his thoughts; and let him return to Jehovah, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

¹¹ Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord Jehovah, I do not have pleasure in the death of the wicked, except in the wicked turning from his way, and so to live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! For why will you die, O house of Israel?

³¹ Because of this, I say to you, Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven to men, but the blasphemy concerning the Spirit shall not be forgiven to men. ³² And whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him. But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, not in this age nor in the coming one .

²⁸ Truly I say to you, All the sins will be forgiven to the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they have blasphemed; ²⁹ but whoever commits blasphemy against the Holy Spirit has no forgiveness to eternity, but is liable to eternal judgment ³⁰ (because they said, He has an unclean spirit).

¹⁰ And everyone who shall say a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven Him; but the ones blaspheming against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven.

⁵¹ Oh stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and in the ears! You always fell against the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, you also did .

¹³ the one who before was a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and insolent; but I received mercy, because being ignorant I did it in unbelief. ¹⁴ But the grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love in Christ Jesus. ¹⁵ Faithful is the Word and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

⁴ For it is impossible for those being once enlightened, and having tasted of the heavenly gift, and becoming sharers of the Holy Spirit,

²⁶ For if we are willfully sinning after receiving the full knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice concerning sins,

²⁹ How much worse punishment do you think will be thought worthy to receive, the one trampling the Son of God, and having counted common the blood of the covenant in which he was sanctified, and having insulted the Spirit of grace?

⁹ If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous that He may forgive us the sins, and may cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

¹ My little children, I write these things to you so that you do not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. ² And He is the propitiation relating to our sins, and not relating to ours only, but also relating to all the world.

¹⁶ If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask; and He shall give life to him, to the ones not sinning unto death. There is a sin unto death. I do not say that he should ask about that.

¹³ But the ungodly in heart heap up anger; they cry not when He has bound them.

¹⁹ The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold, a gluttonous man and a wine drinker, and a friend of tax collectors, and of sinners. And wisdom was justified by her children.

³¹ Because of this, I say to you, Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven to men, but the blasphemy concerning the Spirit shall not be forgiven to men.

⁵⁵ Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary, and his brothers, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?

²⁹ but whoever commits blasphemy against the Holy Spirit has no forgiveness to eternity, but is liable to eternal judgment

³⁰ that will not receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the coming age, eternal life.

³⁴ The Son of man has come eating and drinking, and you say, Behold, a man, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.

²³ And being in torments in Hell, lifting up his eyes, he sees Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosoms. ²⁴ And calling he said, Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am suffering in this flame. ²⁵ But Abraham said, Child, remember that you fully received your good things in your lifetime, and Lazarus likewise the bad things. But now he is comforted, and you are suffering. ²⁶ And besides all these things, a great chasm has been fixed between us and you, so that those desiring to pass from here to you are not able, nor can they pass from there to us.

³⁴ And answering, Jesus said to them, The sons of this world marry and are given in marriage. ³⁵ But those counted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage.

³⁴ And Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. And dividing His garments, they cast a lot. Psa. 22:18

¹² And much murmuring about Him was in the crowds. Some said, He is a good one; but others said, No, but he deceives the crowd.

³⁹ But He said this concerning the Spirit, whom the ones believing into Him were about to receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

⁵² They answered and said to him, Are you also from Galilee? Search and see that a prophet has not been raised out of Galilee.

¹⁴ But you denied the Holy and Just One, and asked for a man, a murderer, to be granted to you. ¹⁵ And the Author of Life you killed, whom God raised up from the dead, of which we are witnesses.

¹⁹ Therefore, repent, and convert, for the blotting out of your sins, so that times of refreshing may come from the face of the Lord,

⁹ Indeed, I then thought to myself that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus the Nazarene. ¹⁰ Which I also did in Jerusalem, I also shut up many of the saints in prisons, receiving authority from the chief priests; and they being put to death, I cast a vote. ¹¹ And often punishing them through all the synagogues, I compelled them to blaspheme. And being exceedingly furious against them, I even persecuted as far as the outside cities.

²¹ far above all principality, and authority, and power, and lordship, and every name being named, not only in this age, but also in the coming age;

¹³ the one who before was a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and insolent; but I received mercy, because being ignorant I did it in unbelief.

¹⁵ Faithful is the Word and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

¹² instructing us that having denied ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live discreetly and righteously and godly in the present age,

⁴ For it is impossible for those being once enlightened, and having tasted of the heavenly gift, and becoming sharers of the Holy Spirit, ⁵ and tasting the good Word of God, and the works of power of a coming age, ⁶ then falling away, it is impossible for them again to renew to repentance, crucifying again for themselves the Son of God, and putting Him to open shame.

²⁶ For if we are willfully sinning after receiving the full knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice concerning sins, ²⁷ but a certain fearful expectation of judgment and "zealous fire being about to consume the adversaries." Isa. 26:11 ²⁸ If anyone did not regard the Law of Moses, that one dies without pities on " the word of two or three witnesses." Deut. 17:6 ²⁹ How much worse punishment do you think will be thought worthy to receive, the one trampling the Son of God, and having counted common the blood of the covenant in which he was sanctified, and having insulted the Spirit of grace?

³¹ Cast away all your transgressions from you by which you have transgressed in them, and make for yourselves a new heart and a new spirit; for why will you die, O house of Israel?

¹⁵ Hate evil, and love good, and establish justice in the gate. It may be that Jehovah the God of hosts will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.

⁸ Therefore, bring forth fruits worthy of repentance. ⁹ And do not think to say within yourselves, We have a father, Abraham. For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. ¹⁰ But already the axe is even laid at the root of the trees; therefore, any tree not bringing forth good fruit is cut down and is thrown into fire.

¹⁶ From their fruits you shall know them. Do they gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? ¹⁷ So every good tree produces good fruits, but the corrupt tree produces evil fruits. ¹⁸ A good tree cannot produce evil fruits, nor a corrupt tree produce good fruits. ¹⁹ Every tree not producing good fruit is cut down and is thrown into fire. ²⁰ Then surely from their fruits you shall know them.

²⁶ Blind Pharisee! First cleanse the inside of the cup and of the dish, that the outside of them may become clean also.

⁹ And also the axe is already laid to the root of the trees; therefore, every tree not producing good fruit is being cut down and being thrown into the fire.

⁴³ For there is not a good tree that produces bad fruit, nor a bad tree that produces good fruit. ⁴⁴ For each tree is known from its own fruit. For they do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.

³⁹ But the Lord said to him, Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the dish, but your inside is full of robbery and evil. ⁴⁰ Fools! Did not He who made the outside also make the inside?

⁴ Remain in Me, and I in you. As the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself, unless it remain in the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me. ⁵ I am the Vine; you are the branches. He that remains in Me, and I in him, this one bears much fruit. For apart from Me you are not able to do anything. ⁶ Unless one remains in Me, he is cast out as the branch and is dried up; and they gather and throw them into a fire, and they are burned. ⁷ If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, whatever you desire you will ask, and it shall happen to you.

¹² My brothers, a fig tree is not able to produce olives, or a vine figs. So neither can a fountain produce both salt and sweet water.

⁸ Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners! And purify your hearts, double minded ones!

¹³ As the proverb of the ancients says, Wickedness proceeds from the wicked. But my hand shall not be on you.

⁶ He has said in his heart, I shall not be moved! From generation to generation never will I be in evil. ⁷ His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and injury; under his tongue are mischief and vanity.

² Like a sharp razor, your tongue devises ruin, working deceit. ³ You love evil more than good; lying more than to speak righteousness. Selah. ⁴ You love all devouring words, O deceitful tongue! ⁵ God will likewise break you forever; He shall take you away, even pluck you from your tent, and uproot you out of the land of the living. Selah.

³ who sharpen their tongue like a sword; they tread their arrows, a bitter word,

⁵ They make themselves strong in an evil plan; they talk of laying snares secretly; they say, Who shall see them?

² O Jehovah, deliver my soul from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue. ³ What shall be given to you, or what shall one add to you, O false tongue? ⁴ Sharp arrows of the mighty with coals of broom!

² who devises evil things in the heart; they gather wars all the day. ³ They sharpen their tongues like a snake; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah.

¹⁴ And justice is driven back; and righteousness stands far off; for truth stumbles in the plaza, and right is not able to enter.

² Stand in the gate of the house of Jehovah and call out there this word, and say, Hear the word of Jehovah all Judah, who enter in at these gates to worship Jehovah. ³ So says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will let you dwell in this place. ⁴ Do not trust yourself to lying words, saying, The temple of Jehovah! The temple of Jehovah! This is the temple of Jehovah! ⁵ For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings; if you truly practice justice between a man and his neighbor;

⁷ But seeing many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, Offspring of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

³⁵ The good man out of the good treasure of the heart puts forth good things. And the evil man out of the evil treasure puts forth evil things.

¹⁸ But the things which come out of the mouth come forth from the heart, and these defile the man.

³³ Serpents! Offspring of vipers! How shall you escape the judgment of Hell?

⁷ Then he said to the crowds going out to be baptized by him, Offspring of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?

⁴⁵ The good man brings forth good out of the good treasure of his heart. And the evil man brings forth evil out of the evil treasure of his heart, for his mouth speaks out of the abundance of his heart.

⁴⁴ You are of the Devil as father, and the lusts of your father you desire to do. That one was a murderer from the beginning, and he has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own, because he is a liar, and the father of it.

¹⁰ according as it has been written, "There is none righteous, not one!" ¹¹ There is none that understands, there is "not one that seeks after God. ¹² All turned away, they became worthless together, not one is doing goodness, not so much as one!" LXX-Psa. 13:1 -3 ¹³ "Their throat is an opened grave;" "they used deceit with their tongues; the poison of asps is under their lips; ¹⁴ whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.

²⁹ Let not any filthy word go out of your mouth, but if any is good to building up in respect to the need, that it may give grace to the ones hearing.

⁵ So also the tongue is a little member, and boasts great things. Behold, how little a fire kindles how large a forest! ⁶ And the tongue is a fire, the world of iniquity. So the tongue is set among our members, spotting all the body, and inflaming the course of nature, and having been inflamed by Hell. ⁷ For every species of beasts, both indeed of birds, of creeping things, and of sea animals, is tamed, and has been tamed by the human species; ⁸ but no one of men is able to tame the tongue; it is an evil that cannot be restrained, full of death-dealing poison.

¹⁰ By this the children of God and the children of the Devil are revealed: Everyone not practicing righteousness is not of God; also the one not loving his brother.

³⁰ The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue speaks judgment. ³¹ The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slide.

²⁰ The tongue of the just is as choice silver; the heart of the wicked is as a little. ²¹ The lips of the righteous feed many, but fools die for lack of heart.

⁶ The words of the wicked ambush for blood, but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.

¹⁷ He who breathes faithfulness reveals righteousness, but a false witness deceit. ¹⁸ There is a rash speaking like thrusts of a sword, but the tongue of the wise heals. ¹⁹ The lips of truth are established forever, but a lying tongue is only while I wink.

⁴ A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it is a break of the spirit.

²³ A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, and how good is a word in its season!

²⁸ The heart of the righteous muses how to answer, but the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things.

²¹ The wise in heart shall be called prudent, and sweetness of lips increases learning. ²² Prudence is a fountain of life to those who own it, but the teaching of fools is folly. ²³ The heart of the wise makes his mouth prudent, and he adds learning on his lips.

¹¹ A word rightly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver. ¹² As a ring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover on a hearing ear.

³⁴ Offspring of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

⁵² And He said to them, Because of this, every scribe schooled to the kingdom of Heaven is like a man, a master of a house, who puts forth out of his treasure new and old.

¹⁶ Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom teaching and exhorting yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

⁶ Let your word be always with grace, having been seasoned with salt, to know how you ought to answer each one.

¹⁴ For God shall bring every work into judgment, with all that is hidden, whether it is good, or whether it is evil.

¹⁶ in a day when God judges the hidden things of men, according to my gospel, through Jesus Christ.

⁴ And fathers, do not provoke your children, but bring them up in the discipline and admonition of the Lord. ⁵ Slaves, obey your lords according to flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ; ⁶ not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ doing the will of God from the soul,

¹⁴ And "the seventh from Adam," Enoch, also prophesied to these men, saying, Behold, "the Lord came with" myriads "of His saints," ¹⁵ "to do judgment against all, and to rebuke all" the ungodly of them concerning all their ungodly works which :they ungodly" did, "and concerning all the hard things ungodly sinners spoke against Him." I Enoch 1:9; 5:4; 60:8

¹² And I saw the dead, the small and the great, standing before God. And books were opened. And another Book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of the things written in the books, according to their works.

³ He who guards his mouth keeps his life; he who opens his lips wide is ruined.

²¹ Was not our father Abraham justified by works offering up his son Isaac on the altar? Gen. 22:9 ²² You see that faith worked with his works; and out of the works the faith was made perfected. ²³ And the Scripture was fulfilled, saying, "And Abraham believed God, and it was counted for righteousness to him;" and he was called, Friend of God. Gen. 15:6; Isa. 41:8 ²⁴ You see, then, that a man is justified out of works, and not out of faith only. ²⁵ But in the same way Rahab the harlot was also justified out of works, having received the messengers, and sending them out by another way.

¹ And coming, the Pharisees and Sadducees asked Him to show them a sign out of the heaven, tempting Him. ² But answering, He said to them, Evening coming on, you say, Clear sky, for the sky is red. ³ And at morning, Today a storm, for the sky is red, being overcast. Hypocrites! You indeed know how to discern the face of the heaven, but you cannot the signs of the times. ⁴ An evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign, and a sign will not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet. And leaving them, He went away.

¹¹ And the Pharisees went out and began to argue with Him, seeking from Him a sign from Heaven, tempting Him. ¹² And groaning in His spirit, He said, Why does this generation seek a sign? Truly I say to you, As if this generation will be given a sign!

¹⁶ And tempting Him, others were seeking a sign from Heaven from Him.

²⁹ But the crowds pressing on Him, He began to say, This is an evil generation. It seeks a sign, and a sign will not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet.

¹⁸ Then the Jews answered and said to Him, What sign do you show to us, since you do these things?

⁴⁸ Then Jesus said to him, Unless you see signs and wonders, you will not at all believe.

³⁰ Then they said to Him, Then what miracle do you do that we may see and may believe you? What do you work?

²² And since Jews ask for a sign, and Greeks seek wisdom,

³ But you, draw near here, sons of the sorceress, seed of the adulterer and playing the harlot.

⁴ An evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign, and a sign will not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet. And leaving them, He went away.

³⁸ For whoever may be ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father, along with the holy angels.

²⁹ But the crowds pressing on Him, He began to say, This is an evil generation. It seeks a sign, and a sign will not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet. ³⁰ For even as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so also the Son of man will be to this generation. ³¹ The queen of the south will be raised in the Judgment with the men of this generation and will condemn them because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon. And, behold, a Greater-than-Solomon is here. ³² Men, Ninevites will rise up in the Judgment with this generation, and will condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah. And, behold, a Greater-than-Jonah is here.

⁴ Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whoever, then, purposes to be a friend of the world is shown to be an enemy of God.

⁹ And those who seek to destroy my life shall go into the depths of the earth.

¹⁷ And Jehovah had appointed a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

² And he said, I cried out to Jehovah from my distress. And He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol I cried for help, and You heard my voice. ³ For You cast me into the deep, into the heart of the seas, and the current surrounded me; all Your breakers and Your waves passed over me. ⁴ And I said, I am cast off from Your eyes; yet I will again look to Your holy temple. ⁵ Waters encompassed me, even to my soul; the depth closed around me; seaweed was clinging to my head. ⁶ I went down to the bases of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me forever. But You brought up my life from the pit, O Jehovah my God.

²¹ From that time, Jesus began to show to His disciples that it was necessary for Him to go away to Jerusalem, and to suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and to be killed, and to be raised on the third day.

²³ And they will kill Him, and on the third day He will be raised. And they grieved exceedingly.

⁴⁰ and saying, You destroying the Holy Place and building it in three days, if you are the Son of God, come down from the cross.

⁶³ saying, Sir, we have recalled that that deceiver while living said, After three days I will rise. ⁶⁴ Therefore, command that the grave be secured until the third day, that his disciples may not come by night and steal him away, and may say to the people, He is raised from the dead. And the last deception will be worse than the first.

¹⁹ Jesus said to them, Destroy this sanctuary, and in three days I will raise it up.

¹⁷ Every weapon formed against you shall not prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the inheritance of the servants of Jehovah, and their righteousness is from Me, says Jehovah.

¹¹ And Jehovah said to me, The apostate Israel has justified herself more than treacherous Judah.

⁵¹ And Samaria has not sinned as much as half your sins, but you have multiplied your abominations more than they, and have justified your sisters in all your abominations which you have done. ⁵² And you who have judged your sisters must bear your humiliation by your sins which you abominably did more than they; they are more righteous than you. And also you be ashamed and bear your shame, since you have justified your sisters.

² Rise up, go to Nineveh, the great city, and cry out against it; for their evil has come up before Me.

⁵ And the men of Nineveh believed in God, and they called a fast and put on sackclothes, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. ⁶ And the word touched even to the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he took his robe from him and covered himself with sackcloth and sat on the ashes. ⁷ And he cried and said in Nineveh by the decree of the king and of his great ones, saying, Do not let man or beast, herd or flock, taste anything; do not let them feed nor let them drink water. ⁸ But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth. And let them call with strength to God. And let them each one turn from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their palms. ⁹ Who knows? He may turn, and God may have pity and turn away from the glow of His anger, that we do not perish. ¹⁰ And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way. And God was compassionate over the evil that He had declared to do to them, and He did not do it .

⁶ But I say to you, One greater than the temple is here.

³⁹ But answering, He said to them, An evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign, and a sign shall not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet.

⁴² The queen of the south will be raised in the Judgment with this generation and will condemn it. For she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and, behold, a Greater-than-Solomon is here.

⁴⁵ Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more evil than himself, and entering dwells there. And the last things of that man become worse than the first. So it will be also to this evil generation.

¹⁷ And answering, Jesus said, O faithless and perverted generation! How long will I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.

³⁶ Truly I say to you, All these things will come on this generation.

³² Men, Ninevites will rise up in the Judgment with this generation, and will condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah. And, behold, a Greater-than-Jonah is here.

³¹ The One coming from above is above all. The one being of the earth is earthy, and speaks of the earth. The One coming out of Heaven is above all.

¹² Are you greater than our father Jacob who gave us the well, and he and his sons and his livestock drank out of it?

⁵³ Are you greater than our father Abraham who died? And the prophets died! Whom do you make yourself? ⁵⁴ Jesus answered, If I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing; it is My Father who glorifies Me, whom you say is your God. ⁵⁵ And you have not known Him; but I know Him, And if I say that I do not know Him, I shall be like you, a liar. But I know Him, and I keep His Word. ⁵⁶ Your father Abraham leaped for joy that he should see My day, and he saw, and rejoiced. ⁵⁷ Then the Jews said to Him, You do not yet have fifty years, and have you seen Abraham? ⁵⁸ Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham came into being, I AM.

²⁷ And will not the uncircumcision by nature by keeping the Law judge you, the one who through letter and circumcision becomes transgressor of Law?

⁵ And "Moses" truly " was faithful in all his house" as a ministering servant, for a testimony of the things having been spoken; Num. 12:7 ⁶ but Christ as Son over His house, whose house we are, if truly we hold fast the boldness and rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

⁷ Being warned by God about the things not yet having been seen, moved with fear, by faith Noah prepared an ark for the salvation of his house; through which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness according to faith.

⁹ Also give to Your servant an understanding heart, to judge Your people to discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this, Your great people?

¹² behold, I have done according to your words. Behold, I have given to you a wise and understanding heart, so that there was none like you before you, and after you none shall rise up like you.

²⁸ And all Israel heard of the judgment that the king had judged, and feared from the face of the king; for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to do judgment.

²⁹ And God gave Solomon exceeding great wisdom and understanding, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the lip of the sea.

³⁴ And there came some from all the people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all the kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom.

¹² And Jehovah gave wisdom to Solomon, as He had spoken to him. And there was peace between Hiram and Solomon; and they cut a covenant, the two of them.

¹ And the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon as to the name of Jehovah, and she came to test him with hard questions. ² And she came to Jerusalem with a very great company, camels bearing spices, and very much gold, and precious stones. And she came to Solomon and spoke with him all that had been in her heart. ³ And Solomon told her all her matters; there was not one thing hidden from the king that he did not declare to her. ⁴ And the queen of Sheba saw the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he built, ⁵ and the food of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the standing of his ministers, and their clothing, and his cupbearers and his burnt offering that he offered in the house of Jehovah; and there was no more breath in her. ⁶ And she said to the king, The word that I heard in my land was true as to your matters and your wisdom. ⁷ And I did not believe the words until I had come and my eyes had seen; and behold, the half was not told to me. You have wisdom and prosperity exceeding the fame which I heard. ⁸ Oh the happiness of your men! Oh the happiness of your servants, these who stand before you continually, who hear your wisdom! ⁹ Blessed be Jehovah your God who delighted in you, to put you on the throne of Israel, because Jehovah loved Israel forever, therefore He made you king, to do judgment and righteousness. ¹⁰ And she gave to the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and very many spices, and precious stones; no spice like that came any more for abundance, that the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon. ¹¹ And also, the navy of Hiram that bore gold from Ophir brought in from Ophir almug trees, a great many, and precious stones; ¹² and the king made the almug trees a support for the house of Jehovah, and for the king's house, and harps and lyres for singers; no such almug trees have come, nor have there been seen such to this day. ¹³ And king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire that she asked, apart from that which he gave to her as a memorial of king Solomon. And she turned and went to her land, she and her servants.

²⁴ and all the earth was seeking the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom that God had put into his heart;

¹ And the queen of Sheba had heard of Solomon's fame. And she came to test Solomon with sharp questions at Jerusalem, with a very great train, and camels bearing spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones. And she came in to Solomon and spoke with him all that was in her heart. ² And Solomon told her all her matters; and there was nothing hidden from Solomon that he did not declare to her. ³ And the queen of Sheba saw the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built, ⁴ and the food of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the standing of his ministers, and their clothing, and his cupbearers, and their clothing, and his burnt offerings that he offered up in the house of Jehovah; and there was no more spirit in her. ⁵ And she said to the king, The word that I heard in my land concerning your matters and concerning your wisdom is true. ⁶ But I had given no credit to their words, until I had come and my eyes had seen. And, behold, there was not declared to me half of the abundance of your wisdom. You exceeded the report that I heard. ⁷ Oh the happiness of your men, and the happiness of your servants, these who stand before you continually and hear your wisdom! ⁸ May Jehovah your God be blessed, who has delighted in you, to put you on His throne to be king for Jehovah your God. In the love of your God toward Israel, to make it stand forever, He has put you over them as king, to do judgment and righteousness. ⁹ And she gave to the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and spices in great plenty, and precious stones. And there has not been any spice as that the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon. ¹⁰ And also the servants of Hiram and the servants of Solomon, who brought in gold from Ophir, brought in algum trees and precious stones. ¹¹ And the king fashioned the algum trees into steps for the house of Jehovah, and for the king's house, and lyres and harps for singers. and there was none like these before in the land of Judah. ¹² And king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire that she asked, besides that which she had brought to the king. And she turned and went to her land, she and her servants.

¹⁴ So, The Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold! The virgin will conceive and will bring forth a son; and she shall call His name Immanuel.

¹⁷ And behold! A voice out of the heaven saying, This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I have found delight. Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1

¹⁴ And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, glory as of an only begotten from the Father, full of grace and of truth.

¹⁸ No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, that One reveals Him .

²⁷ And rising up he went. And, behold, an Ethiopian man, a eunuch, one in power with Candace the queen of Ethiopians, who was over all her treasure, who had come to Jerusalem to worship! ²⁸ And he was returning. And sitting on his chariot he read the prophet Isaiah.

² in these last days He spoke to us in the Son, whom He appointed heir of all; through whom He indeed made the ages; ³ who being the shining splendor of His glory, and the express image of His essence, and upholding all things by the word of His power, having made purification of our sins through Himself, He sat down on the right of the Majesty on high, Psa. 110:1 ⁴ having become so much better than the angels, He has inherited a name more excellent than they.

⁷ And Jehovah said to Satan, From where have you come? And Satan answered Jehovah and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

¹ A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, You are my God; I earnestly seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You, as in a dry and weary land without water.

⁶ Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing. For waters shall break out in the wilderness, and streams in the desert. ⁷ And the mirage shall become a pool, and the thirsty land shall become springs of waters, in the home of jackals, in its lair, and a place for the reed and rush.

¹⁸ I will open rivers in bare places, and fountains in the midst of valleys; I will make the desert for a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

⁸ And he said to me, These waters go out toward the eastern circuit, and go down into the Arabah, and enter the sea. They are brought out into the sea, and the waters shall be healed. ⁹ And it shall be, every soul that lives, which swarms in every place, there where the two torrents go, that soul shall live. And there shall be very many fish, because these waters shall come there. And they shall be healed. And all shall live there where the torrent goes. ¹⁰ And it will be, the fishermen shall stand on it; from En-gedi even to En-eglaim, a spreading place for nets shall be there; their fish shall be by its kind, like the fish of the Great Sea, very many. ¹¹ Its swamps and its marshes shall not even be healed, they shall be given to salt. ¹² And all trees for food shall go up by the torrent, on its lip on this side and on that. Its leaf shall not fade, and its fruit shall not fail; it will bear by its months, because its waters come out from the sanctuary. And its fruit shall be for food, and its leaf for healing.

¹¹ Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord Jehovah, that I will send a famine into the land, not a famine for bread, nor a thirst for water, but rather a famine for hearing the words of Jehovah. ¹² And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to east; they shall roam about to seek the word of Jehovah, and they shall not find it . ¹³ In that day the beautiful virgins and the young men shall faint with thirst.

²⁹ And, behold! They cried out, saying, What is to us and to You, Jesus, Son of God? Have You come here beforetime to torment us?

⁷ And crying with a loud voice, he said, What is to me and to You, Jesus, Son of the most high God? I adjure You by God, do not torment me. ⁸ For He said to him, Unclean spirit, come out of the man! ⁹ And He asked him, What is your name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion, because we are many. ¹⁰ And he begged Him very much that He would not send them outside the country. ¹¹ And a great herd of pigs were feeding there near the mountain. ¹² And all the demons begged Him, saying, Send us into the pigs, that we may enter into them. ¹³ And Jesus immediately allowed them. And coming out, the unclean spirits entered into the pigs. And the herd rushed down the cliff into the sea (and they were about two thousand), and they were choked in the sea.

²⁸ And seeing Jesus, and crying out, he fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, What to me and to You, Jesus, Son of God the Most High? I beg You, do not torment me. ²⁹ For He charged the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For many times it had seized him, and he was bound with chains and fetters, being guarded. And tearing apart the bonds, he was driven by the demons into the deserted places . ³⁰ And Jesus asked him, saying, What is your name? And he said, Legion (because many demons entered into him). ³¹ And they begged Him that He not order them to go away into the abyss. ³² And there was a herd of many pigs feeding there in the mount. And they begged Him that He would allow them to enter into those. And He allowed them.

²⁴ When the unclean spirit goes out from the man, he goes through dry places seeking rest. And not finding, he says, I will return to my house from where I came out. ²⁵ And coming, he finds it swept and decorated. ²⁶ Then he goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and entering he dwells there. And the last things of that man become worse than the first.

¹³ And Simon himself also believed, and being baptized was continuing steadfastly with Philip. And seeing miracles and mighty works happening, he was amazed.

⁸ Be sensible, watch, because your adversary the Devil walks about as a roaring lion seeking someone he may devour;

¹¹ But My people would not listen to My voice, and Israel did not consent to Me. ¹² So I gave them up to the stubbornness of their own hearts; they walked in their own conceits.

⁶ For they have brought their heart near, like an oven, while they lie in wait. Their baker sleeps all night; in the morning, it burns like a flaming fire.

²⁹ Or how is anyone able to enter the house of the strong one and plunder his goods, if he does not first tie up the strong one; and then he will plunder his house?

²⁰ And that sown on the stony places is this: the one hearing the Word, and immediately receiving it with joy, ²¹ but has no root in himself, but is temporary, and tribulation, or persecution occurring because of the Word, he is at once offended. ²² And that sown into the thorns is this: the one hearing the Word, and the anxiety of this age, and the deceit of riches, choke the Word, and it becomes unfruitful.

⁶ But he said this, not that he was caring for the poor, but that he was a thief and held the moneybag and carried away the things being put in .

² And supper having occurred, the Devil having put already into the heart of Simon's son Judas Iscariot that he should betray Him,

²⁷ And after the morsel, then Satan entered into that one. Then Jesus said to him, What you do, do quickly.

¹ But a certain man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a property, ² and kept back from the price, his wife also aware of it, and bringing a certain part, he put it at the feet of the apostles. ³ But Peter said, Ananias, why did Satan fill your heart for you to lie to the Holy Spirit and to secretly keep back from the price of the land?

¹⁸ But Simon having seen that the Holy Spirit is given through the laying on of the hands of the apostles, he offered them money, ¹⁹ saying, Give to me also this authority that to whomever I may lay on the hands he may receive the Holy Spirit. ²⁰ But Peter said to him, May your silver be with you into perdition, because you thought to get the gift of God through money. ²¹ There is neither part nor lot to you in this matter, for your heart is not upright before the face of God. ²² Repent, then, from this wickedness of yours, and petition God if perhaps you will be forgiven the thought of your heart. ²³ For I see you being in the gall of bitterness and a bundle of unrighteousness.

¹⁹ For there must also be heresies among you, so that the approved ones may become revealed among you.

² in which you then walked according to the course of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit now working in the sons of disobedience,

⁹ His coming is according to the working of Satan in all power and miracles and lying wonders, ¹⁰ and in all deceit of unrighteousness in those being lost, because they did not receive the love of the truth in order for them to be saved. ¹¹ And because of this, God will send to them a working of error, for them to believe the lie, ¹² that all may be judged, those not believing the truth, but who have delighted in unrighteousness.

⁴ he has been puffed up, understanding nothing, but is sick concerning doubts and arguments, out of which comes envy, strife, evil-speakings, evil suspicions, ⁵ meddling, of men whose mind has been corrupted and deprived of the truth, supposing gain to be godliness. Withdraw from such persons .

⁹ But those having purposed to be rich fall into temptation, and a snare, and many foolish and hurtful lusts, which plunge men into destruction and loss. ¹⁰ For the love of money is a root of all evils, by means of which some having lusted after it were seduced from the faith, and they themselves pierced through by many pains.

⁴ For certain men crept in secretly, those having been of old marked out to this condemnation, ungodly ones perverting the grace of God for unbridled lust, and denying the only Master, God, even our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁵ But I intend to remind you, you once knowing these things, that the Lord having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, in the second place destroyed the ones not believing.

³ And I saw one of its heads, as having been slain to death, and its deadly wound was healed. And all the earth marveled after the beast. ⁴ And they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like the beast; who is able to make war with it?

⁸ And all those dwelling in the earth will worship it, those of whom the names had not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb having been slain from the foundation of the world. ⁹ If anyone has an ear, let him hear.

²⁴ But hearing, the Pharisees said, This one does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, ruler of the demons.

³⁸ But seeing the son, the vinedressers said among themselves, This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and get hold of his inheritance. ³⁹ And taking him, they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him . ⁴⁰ Therefore, when the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to these vinedressers? ⁴¹ They said to Him, Bad men! He will miserably destroy them, and he will rent out the vineyard to other vinedressers who will give to him the fruits in their seasons. ⁴² Jesus said to them, Did you never read in the Scriptures, "A Stone which the builders rejected is the One that has become the head of the corner. This was from the Lord, and it is a wonder in our eyes?" Psa. 118:22, 23 ⁴³ Because of this I say to you, The kingdom of God will be taken from you, and it will be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits of it. ⁴⁴ And he who falls on this Stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.

¹⁵ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you go about the sea and the dry land to make one proselyte; and when he has become so, you make him twofold more a son of Hell than yourselves.

²⁴ Blind guides, straining out the gnat, but swallowing the camel!

³² And you fill up the measure of your fathers. ³³ Serpents! Offspring of vipers! How shall you escape the judgment of Hell? ³⁴ Because of this, behold, I send to you prophets and wise ones and scribes. And some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will flog in your synagogues and will persecute from city to city; ³⁵ so that should come on you all the righteous blood poured out on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah the son of Berechiah whom you murdered between the Holy Place and the altar. ³⁶ Truly I say to you, All these things will come on this generation. ³⁷ Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one killing the prophets and stoning those sent to her. How often I desired to gather your children in the way a bird gathers her chicks under her wings! And you did not desire it. ³⁸ Behold, "your house is left to you desolate." Jer. 22:5 ³⁹ For I say to you, In no way shall you see Me from now on, until you say, "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord." Psa. 118:26

⁹ And He asked him, What is your name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion, because we are many.

⁹ And rising early on the first of the week, He first appeared to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons.

²⁶ Then he goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and entering he dwells there. And the last things of that man become worse than the first.

⁴⁹ And because of this, the wisdom of God said, I will send prophets and apostles to them, and they will kill and drive out some of them, ⁵⁰ that the blood of all the prophets which has been shed from the foundation of the world may be required from this generation, ⁵¹ from the blood of Abel until the blood of Zechariah who perished between the altar and the House. Yea, I say to you, it will be required from this generation.

⁴¹ And as He drew near, seeing the city, He wept over it, ⁴² saying, If you had known, even you, even at least in this day of yours, the things for your peace! But now they were hidden from your eyes. ⁴³ For the days will come on you, and your enemies will raise up a rampart to you and will surround you and will keep you in on every side, ⁴⁴ and will tear you down, and your children in you, and will not leave a stone on a stone, because you did not know the time of your visitation.

²² If I had not come and had not spoken to them, they had no sin. But now they do not have excuse as to their sin. ²³ The one hating Me also hates My Father. ²⁴ If I did not do the works among them which no other did, they had no sin. But now they both have seen and also have hated Me and My Father.

⁸ even as it has been written, "God gave to them a spirit of slumber, eyes not seeing and ears not hearing" until this day. Isa. 29:10; Deut. 29:4 ⁹ And David said, "Let their table become for a snare and a trap, and for a stumbling block," and a repayment to them; ¹⁰ "let their eyes be darkened, not to see, and their back always bowing." LXX-68:23, 24; MT-Psa. 69:22, 23

¹² because we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenlies.

¹⁵ who both killed the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, also driving us out, and not pleasing God, and being contrary to all men, ¹⁶ hindering us from speaking to the nations in order that they be saved, to fill up their sins always. But the wrath has come on them to the uttermost.

⁴ For it is impossible for those being once enlightened, and having tasted of the heavenly gift, and becoming sharers of the Holy Spirit, ⁵ and tasting the good Word of God, and the works of power of a coming age, ⁶ then falling away, it is impossible for them again to renew to repentance, crucifying again for themselves the Son of God, and putting Him to open shame. ⁷ (For the earth drinking in the rain often coming upon it, and producing plants fit for those for whom it is also worked, receives blessing from God; ⁸ "but bearing thorns and thistles," it is deemed unfit and near a curse, of which the end is for burning.) Gen. 3:17, 18

²⁶ For if we are willfully sinning after receiving the full knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice concerning sins, ²⁷ but a certain fearful expectation of judgment and "zealous fire being about to consume the adversaries." Isa. 26:11 ²⁸ If anyone did not regard the Law of Moses, that one dies without pities on " the word of two or three witnesses." Deut. 17:6 ²⁹ How much worse punishment do you think will be thought worthy to receive, the one trampling the Son of God, and having counted common the blood of the covenant in which he was sanctified, and having insulted the Spirit of grace? ³⁰ For we know Him who has said, "Vengeance belongs to Me; I will repay," says the Lord. And again, "The Lord will judge His people." Deut. 32:35, 36 ³¹ It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

³⁹ But we are not of those withdrawing to destruction, but of faith, to the preservation of the soul.

¹⁴ having eyes full of an adulteress, and never ceasing from sin; alluring unsettled souls; having a heart busied with covetousness; cursed children; ¹⁵ forsaking a straight path, they went astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness, ¹⁶ but had reproof of his own transgression, the dumb ass speaking in a man's voice held back the madness of the prophet. ¹⁷ These are springs without water, clouds being driven by tempest, for whom the blackness of darkness is kept forever. ¹⁸ For speaking great swelling words of vanity, by the lusts of the flesh, by unbridled lusts, they allure those indeed escaping the ones living in error, ¹⁹ promising them freedom, though themselves being slaves of corruption; for by whom anyone has been overcome, even to this one he has been enslaved. ²⁰ For if by a full knowledge of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, they have escaped the defilements of the world, and again being entangled they have been overcome by these, then their last things have become worse than the first. ²¹ For it was better for them not to have fully known the way of righteousness, than fully knowing to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. ²² But the word of the true proverb has happened to them: " The dog turning to his own vomit;" also, the washed sow to wallowing in mud. Prov. 26:11

¹⁶ If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask; and He shall give life to him, to the ones not sinning unto death. There is a sin unto death. I do not say that he should ask about that. ¹⁷ All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not unto death.

¹⁰ But what things they do not know, they speak evil of these. And what things they understand naturally, like the animals without reason, they are corrupted by these. ¹¹ Woe to them, because they went the way of Cain, and gave themselves up to the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the speaking against of Korah! ¹² These are sunken rocks in your love feasts, feasting together with you, feeding themselves without fear, waterless clouds being carried about by winds, fruitless autumn trees, having died twice, having been plucked up by the roots; ¹³ wild waves of the sea foaming up their shames, wandering stars for whom blackness of darkness has been kept forever.

¹⁸ And the birth of Jesus Christ was this way (for His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph) before they came together, she was discovered to be pregnant in womb by the Holy Spirit.

¹¹ And having come into the house, they saw the child with His mother Mary. And falling down, they worshiped Him. And opening their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold and frankincense and myrrh.

¹³ And they having departed, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph by a dream, saying, Rise up! Take the child and His mother with you, and flee into Egypt. And be there until I shall tell you. For Herod is about to look for the child in order to destroy Him. ¹⁴ And rising up, he took along the child and His mother by night and withdrew into Egypt.

²⁰ saying, Rising up, take along the child and His mother and pass over into the land of Israel; for those seeking the soul of the child have expired. ²¹ And no one sews a patch of unmilled cloth on an old garment, else it takes away its fullness, the new from the old, and a worse tear occurs.

³¹ Then His mother and brothers came. And standing outside, they sent to Him, calling Him. ³² And a crowd sat around Him. And they said to Him, Behold, Your mother and Your brothers seek You outside. ³³ And He answered them, saying, Who is My mother or My brothers? ³⁴ And having looked around on those sitting around Him in a circle, He said, Behold, My mother and My brothers! ³⁵ For whoever does the will of God, this one is My brother, and My sister, and My mother.

³ Is this one not the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James and Joseph and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended in Him.

⁴³ And why is this to me that the mother of my Lord comes to me?

³³ And Joseph was marveling, also His mother, at the things being said concerning Him.

⁴⁸ And seeing Him, they were astounded. And His mother said to Him, Child, why did You do so to us? Behold, Your father and I were looking for You, greatly distressed.

⁵¹ And He went with them and came to Nazareth and was being subject to them. And His mother carefully kept all these words in her heart.

¹⁰ And He said, To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest in parables, that seeing they might not see, and hearing, they might not understand. Isa. 6:9

¹⁹ And His mother and His brothers came to Him, and were not able to come up with Him through the crowd. ²⁰ And it was told to Him, saying Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside wishing to see You. ²¹ And answering, He said to them, My mother and My brothers are these: the ones hearing the Word of God, and doing it.

¹ And on the third day a marriage took place in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.

⁵ His mother said to the servants, Whatever He says to you, do.

¹² After this He went down to Capernaum, He and His mother and His brothers and His disciples. And He remained there not many days.

³ Then His brothers said to Him, Move away from here and go to Judea, that your disciples will also see your works which you do,

⁵ For His brothers did not believe into Him.

¹⁰ But when His brothers went up, then He also went up to the feast, not openly, but as in secret.

²⁵ And His mother, and His mother's sister Mary, the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene stood by the cross of Jesus.

¹⁴ These all were continuing steadfastly in prayer and in supplication with one mind, with the women, and with Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

⁵ Have we not authority to lead about a sister, a wife, as the rest of the apostles also, and Cephas, and the Lord's brothers do ?

¹⁹ But I saw no other of the apostles except James the brother of the Lord.

⁹ who said of his father and his mother, I have not seen him. And he has not acknowledged his brothers, and did not know his own son, for they have kept Your word, and observed Your covenant.

³⁷ He that loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he that loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.

³² And a crowd sat around Him. And they said to Him, Behold, Your mother and Your brothers seek You outside. ³³ And He answered them, saying, Who is My mother or My brothers?

⁴⁹ And He said to them, Why did you look for me? Did you not know that I must be busy in the affairs of My Father?

⁵² And Jesus progressed in wisdom and stature and favor before God and men. see 1 Sam. 2:26

³ And being short of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, They have no wine. ⁴ Jesus said to her, What is that to Me and to you, woman? My hour has not yet come.

¹⁶ So as we now know no one according to flesh, but even if we have known Christ according to flesh, yet now we no longer know Him so .

⁷ And going quickly say to His disciples that He was raised from the dead. And behold! He goes before you into Galilee. You will see Him there. Behold! I told you.

³⁴ And having looked around on those sitting around Him in a circle, He said, Behold, My mother and My brothers!

⁸ For the words which You gave to Me, I have given to them. And they received and truly knew that I came out from beside You, and they believed that You sent Me. ⁹ I pray concerning them; I do not pray concerning the world, but for those whom You gave to Me, for they are Yours.

²⁰ And I do not pray concerning these only, but also concerning those who will believe in Me through their word;

¹⁷ Jesus said to her, Do not touch Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and My God, and your God. ¹⁸ Mary Magdalene came bringing word to the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He told her these things. ¹⁹ Then it being evening on that day, the first of the sabbaths, and the doors having been locked where the disciples were assembled, because of fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst and said to them, Peace to you. ²⁰ And saying this, He showed them His hands and side. Then seeing the Lord, the disciples rejoiced.

²² I will declare Your name to My brothers; I will praise You in the midst of the assembly.

⁹ You have ravished My heart, My sister, My spouse; you have ravished My heart with one of your eyes, with one chain of your neck. ¹⁰ How beautiful are your loves, My sister, My spouse! How much better are your loves than wine, and the scent of your ointments than all spices!

¹² A locked garden is My sister, My spouse; a rock heap locked up, a sealed fountain.

¹ I have come into My garden, My sister, My spouse; I have gathered My myrrh with My spice. I have eaten My honeycomb with My honey; I have drunk My wine with My milk. Eat and drink, O friends; yea, drink fully, beloved ones. ² I sleep, but my heart is awake. It is the sound of my Beloved that knocks, saying, Open to Me, My sister, My love, My dove, My undefiled. For My head is filled with dew, My locks with the drops of the night.

²⁰ Then surely from their fruits you shall know them. ²¹ Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of Heaven, but the ones who do the will of My Father in Heaven.

⁴⁰ And answering, the King will say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it to one of these, the least of My brothers, you did it to Me.

⁴⁵ Then He will answer them, saying, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did not do it to one of these, the least, neither did you do it to Me.

¹⁰ Then Jesus said to them, Do not fear. Go tell your brothers that they may go into Galilee, and there they will see Me.

³⁵ For whoever does the will of God, this one is My brother, and My sister, and My mother.

²¹ And answering, He said to them, My mother and My brothers are these: the ones hearing the Word of God, and doing it.

²⁷ And as He spoke these things, it happened that a certain woman lifted up her voice out of the crowd and said to Him, Blessed is the womb having borne You and the breasts which You sucked. ²⁸ But He said, No; rather, blessed are those hearing the Word of God, and keeping it.

²⁹ Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, that you believe into Him whom that One sent.

⁴⁰ And this is the will of the One sending Me, that everyone seeing the Son and believing into Him should have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

¹⁴ You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.

²⁶ Then seeing His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, Jesus said to His mother, Woman, behold your son! ²⁷ Then He said to the disciple, Behold, your mother! And from that hour, the disciple took her into his own home .

¹⁷ Jesus said to her, Do not touch Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and My God, and your God.

²² For Moses indeed said to the fathers, " The Lord your God will raise up to you a Prophet from among your brothers, One like me; you shall hear Him according to all things," whatever He may speak to you. See Deut. 18:15-16, 19 ²³ And it shall be that of every soul, whoever should not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.

³⁰ And leading them outside, he said, Sirs, what must I do that I may be saved? ³¹ And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.

³⁰ Truly, then, God overlooking the times of ignorance, now strictly commands all men everywhere to repent,

²⁰ but to those first in Damascus, and Jerusalem, and to all the country of Judea, and to the nations, I announced the command to repent and to turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.

²⁹ because whom He foreknew, He also predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son, for Him to be the First-born among many brothers.

² For I am jealous over you with a jealousy of God. For I have promised you to one Man, to present you a pure virgin to Christ.

⁶ For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any strength, but faith working through love.

¹⁵ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision has any strength nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up on its behalf, ²⁶ that He might sanctify it, cleansing it by the washing of the water in the Word, ²⁷ that He might present it to Himself as the glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such things, but that it be holy and without blemish.

¹¹ where there is no Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, slave or freeman, but Christ is all things and in all.

² older women as mothers, younger women as sisters, in all purity.

¹¹ For both He sanctifying and the ones being sanctified are all of one; for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brothers, ¹² saying, I will announce Your name to My brothers; I will hymn to You in the midst of the assembly." Psa. 22:22 ¹³ And again, "I will be trusting on Him." Isa. 8:17 And again, "Behold, I and the children whom God gave to Me." Isa. 8:18 ¹⁴ Since, then, the children have partaken of flesh and blood, in like manner He Himself also shared the same things, that through death He might cause to cease the one having the power of death, (that is, the Devil); ¹⁵ and might set these free, as many as by fear of death were subject to slavery through all the time to live. ¹⁶ For indeed He does not take hold of angels, "but He takes hold of" " the seed of Abraham." Isa. 41:8, 9 ¹⁷ For this reason He ought by all means to become like His brothers, that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the things respecting God, in order to make propitiation for the sins of His people.

⁹ and being perfected, He became the Author of eternal salvation to all the ones obeying Him,

²¹ On account of this, having put aside all filthiness and overflowing of evil, in meekness receive the implanted Word being able to save your souls. ²² But become doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

² for him no longer to live in the lusts of men, but to live the remaining time in the flesh in the will of God.

¹⁷ And the world is passing away, and its lust. But the one doing the will of God abides forever.

²³ And this is His commandment, that we should believe the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as He gave command to us. ²⁴ And the one keeping His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit which He gave to us.

¹⁴ Blessed are the ones doing His commands, that their authority will be over the Tree of Life, and by the gates they may enter into the city.
