¹ And having called His twelve disciples, He gave them authority over unclean spirits, so as to throw them out, and to heal every disease and every weakness of body.

¹³ And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil, for Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory to the ages. Amen.

²⁸ And Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, You who have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of man sits on the throne of His glory, you also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

²⁰ And evening coming, He reclined with the Twelve.

⁴⁷ And as He was yet speaking, behold, Judas came, one of the Twelve. And with him was a numerous crowd with swords and clubs, from the chief priests and elders of the people.

¹⁸ And coming up Jesus talked with them, saying, All authority in Heaven and on earth was given to Me. ¹⁹ Going, then, disciple all nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

¹³ And He went up into the mountain, and He called near whom He desired. And they went to Him. ¹⁴ And He made disciples of twelve, that they might be with Him; and that He might send them to proclaim, ¹⁵ and to have authority to heal diseases, and to cast out the demons.

⁷ And He called the Twelve near and began to send them out two by two. And He gave them authority over the unclean spirits, ⁸ and charged them that they take nothing in the way, except only a staff; no bag, no bread, no copper in the belt; ⁹ but having tied on sandals, and not putting on two tunics. ¹⁰ And He said to them, Wherever you enter into a house, remain there until you go out from there. ¹¹ And as many as will not receive you, nor hear from you, having gone out from there, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony to them. Truly I say to you, it will be more bearable for Sodom or Gomorrah in Judgment Day than for that city. ¹² And going out, they proclaimed that men should repent. ¹³ And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil and healed many sick ones.

¹⁷ And signs will follow to those believing these things: they will cast out demons in My name; they will speak new languages; ¹⁸ they will take up snakes; and if they drink anything deadly, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will be well.

¹³ And when it became day, He called His disciples, also choosing out twelve from them, whom He also named apostles:

¹ And having called together His twelve disciples, He gave them power and authority over all the demons, and to heal diseases. ² And He sent them to proclaim the kingdom of God, and to heal the ones being sick. ³ And He said to them, Take nothing for the way, neither staffs, nor moneybags, nor bread, nor silver, nor each to have two tunics. ⁴ And into whatever house you enter, remain there, and go out from there. ⁵ And as many as may not receive you, going out from that city even shake off the dust from your feet, for a testimony against them. ⁶ And going out, they passed through the villages, having announced the gospel, and healing everywhere.

¹⁹ Behold, I have given you the authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and on all the power of the Enemy, and nothing shall hurt you, not at all

¹⁵ For I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all those opposing you will not be able to withstand or contradict.

⁴⁹ And, behold, I send forth the promise of My Father on you. But you sit in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high.

²⁷ John answered and said, A man is able to receive nothing unless it has been given to him from Heaven.

³⁵ The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand.

⁷⁰ Jesus answered them, Did I not choose you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!

² as You gave to Him authority over all flesh, so that to all which You gave to Him, He may give to them everlasting life.

²¹ Then Jesus said to them again, Peace to you. As the Father has sent Me, I also send you. ²² And saying this, He breathed on them and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit. ²³ Of whomever you forgive the sins, they are forgiven to them. Or whomever you may retain, they are retained.

⁸ but you will receive power, the Holy Spirit coming upon you, and you will be witnesses of Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

¹⁵ And the Author of Life you killed, whom God raised up from the dead, of which we are witnesses. ¹⁶ And on the faith of His name, this one whom you see and know was made firm by His name, and the faith which came through Him gave to him this complete soundness before you all.

¹⁵ But answering the evil spirit said, I know Jesus, and I comprehend Paul, but who are you?

¹ And a great sign was seen in the heavens, a woman having been clothed with the sun, and the moon was underneath her feet; and on her head a crown of twelve stars;

¹² and having a great and high wall, having twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates and names having been inscribed, which are of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel. ¹³ From the east, three gates; from the north, three gates; from the south, three gates; and from the west, three gates. ¹⁴ And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
