¹⁶ And taking the five loaves and the two fish, looking up to Heaven, He blessed them, and broke, and gave to the disciples to set before the crowd.

¹ A Song of Ascents. I will lift up my eyes to the hills; from where shall my help come? ² My help comes from Jehovah, the Maker of the heavens and the earth.

¹⁹ And commanding the crowds to recline on the grass, and taking the five loaves and two fish, looking up to Heaven, He blessed. And breaking, He gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples gave to the crowds.

³⁶ And taking the seven loaves and the fish, giving thanks, He broke and gave to His disciples, and the disciples to the crowd.

³⁴ and looking up into Heaven, He groaned and said to him, Ephphatha! (which is, Be opened!)

¹⁹ And taking a loaf, giving thanks, He broke, and gave to them, saying, This is My body being given for you. Do this for My remembrance.

³⁰ And it happened as He reclined with them, taking the loaf, He blessed, and breaking He gave to them.

¹¹ And Jesus took the loaves, and giving thanks distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to those reclining. And in the same way the fish, as much as they desired.

²³ But other small boats came from Tiberias near the place where they ate the loaves, the Lord having given thanks.

³⁵ And saying these things, and taking bread, he gave thanks to God before all; and breaking, he began to eat.

⁶ The one minding the day, he minds it to the Lord. And the one not minding the day, he does not mind it to the Lord. The one eating, he eats to the Lord; for he gives thanks to God. And the one not eating, he does not eat to the Lord, and gives thanks to God.

³⁰ But if I partake by grace, why am I evil spoken of because of what I give thanks for ?

²⁴ and giving thanks, He broke and said, Take, eat; this is My body which is broken on behalf of you; this do in remembrance of Me.

⁴ Because every creature of God is good, and nothing to be thrust away, but having been received with thanksgiving; ⁵ for through God's Word and prayerful intercourse, it is sanctified.
