³³ But today and tomorrow and on the following day I must travel on. For it is not possible for a prophet to perish outside Jerusalem.

¹⁸ Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man will be betrayed to the chief priests and scribes. And they will condemn Him to death.

¹¹ And the crowds said, This is Jesus, the Prophet, the one from Nazareth of Galilee.

⁵³ And they did not receive Him, because His face was going toward Jerusalem.

³⁴ Jesus said to them, My food is that I should do the will of Him who sent Me, and that I may finish His work.

⁴ It is necessary for Me to work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day. Night comes when no one is able to work.

⁹ Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble because he sees the light of the world.

⁵⁴ Then Jesus no longer walked publicly among the Jews, but went away from there into the country near a deserted place, to a city being called Ephraim, and stayed there with His disciples.

³⁵ Then Jesus said to them, Yet a little while the Light is with you. Walk while you have the Light, that darkness not overtake you. And the one walking in the darkness does not know where he is going.

³⁸ Jesus the One from Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all those having been oppressed by the Devil, because God was with Him.

²⁷ For those dwelling in Jerusalem, and their rulers, not having known this One, and the voices of the prophets being read throughout every sabbath, condemning Him, they fulfilled the Scriptures .
