¹ And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in them; and they put incense on it and brought strange fire before Jehovah, which He had not commanded them. ² And fire went out from before Jehovah and consumed them; and they died before Jehovah. ³ And Moses said to Aaron, It is that which Jehovah has spoken, saying, I will be sanctified by those drawing near to Me; and I will be honored before all the people. And Aaron was silent. ⁴ And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, sons of Uzziel, Aaron's uncle, and said to them, Come near, carry your brothers from the front of the sanctuary to the outside of the camp. ⁵ And they came near and carried them in their coats to the outside of the camp, as Moses had commanded. ⁶ And Moses said to Aaron, and to Eleazar, and to Ithamar, his sons, You shall not uncover your heads and you shall not tear your garments, that you may not die, and He be angry on all the congregation. As to your brothers, the whole house of Israel, they shall mourn the burning which Jehovah has kindled. ⁷ And you shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation lest you die. For the anointing oil of Jehovah is on you. And they did according to the word of Moses. ⁸ And Jehovah spoke to Aaron, saying, ⁹ You shall not drink wine and strong drink, you nor your sons with you, as you go into the tabernacle of the congregation, and you shall not die; a never ending statute throughout your generations; ¹⁰ and to make a distinction between the holy and profane, and between the unclean and the clean; ¹¹ and to teach the sons of Israel all the statutes which Jehovah has spoken to them by the hand of Moses. ¹² And Moses spoke to Aaron, and to Eleazar, and to Ithamar, his sons who were left, Take the food offering that remains from the fire offerings of Jehovah, and eat it unleavened near the altar, for it is most holy. ¹³ And you shall eat it in the holy place, for it is your portion, and the portion of your sons, from the fire offerings of Jehovah; for so I have been commanded. ¹⁴ And the breast of the wave offering, and the leg of the heave offering, you shall eat in a clean place, you and your sons, and your daughters with you. For they have been given for your portion and the portion of your sons out of the sacrifices of peace offerings of the sons of Israel. ¹⁵ The leg of the heave offering, and the breast of the wave offering, besides fire offerings of the fat, they shall bring in to wave a wave offering before Jehovah; and it shall be to you, and to your sons with you, a never ending statute, as Jehovah has commanded. ¹⁶ And Moses sought carefully for the goat of the sin offering; and, behold, it had been burned! And he was angry against Eleazar and against Ithamar, Aaron's remaining sons, saying, ¹⁷ Why have you not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, for it is most holy, and He has given it to you to take away the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before Jehovah? ¹⁸ Behold, its blood has not been brought into the holy place inside. You should certainly have eaten it in the sanctuary, as I have commanded. ¹⁹ And Aaron said to Moses, Behold, today they have brought their sin offering and their burnt offering before Jehovah; and such things have happened to me. And if I had eaten the sin offering today, would it have been accepted in the sight of Jehovah? ²⁰ And when Moses heard, then it was good in his eyes.

²³ And Aaron took Elisheba the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, to him for a wife. And she bore to him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

¹ And He said to Moses, Come up to Jehovah, you and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy from the elders of Israel. And bow yourselves from a distance.

⁹ And Moses and Aaron went up with Nadab and Abihu, and seventy from the elders of Israel.

³ And you shall make its pots to remove its ashes, and its shovels and its sacrificial bowls, and its flesh forks, and its pans. You shall make all its vessels to be bronze.

¹ And you shall take to yourself your brother Aaron, and his sons with him, from among the sons of Israel, for him to serve as priest to Me; Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron.

¹ And you shall make an altar, a place for burning incense; you shall make it of acacia wood. ² It shall be a cubit in length and a cubit in width; it shall be square. And its height shall be two cubits, its horns from itself. ³ And you shall overlay it with pure gold, its top, and its walls all around, and its horns. And you shall make a wreath of gold for it all around. ⁴ And you shall make two rings of gold for it under its wreath; you shall make its two corners on its two sides; and they shall be housings for poles, to lift them up by it. ⁵ And you shall make the poles of acacia wood; and you shall overlay them with gold. ⁶ And you shall put it in front of the veil which is beside the ark of the testimony; in front of the mercyseat which is over the testimony, there where I meet you. ⁷ And Aaron shall burn incense of perfume on it morning by morning; when he dresses the lamps he shall burn it. ⁸ And when Aaron sets up the lamps between the evenings he shall burn it, a perpetual incense before the face of Jehovah for your generations. ⁹ You shall not offer up strange incense on it, and burnt offering and food offering; and you shall not pour out a drink offering, to go up on it.

³⁴ And Jehovah said to Moses, Take perfumes for yourself, spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum, spices, and pure frankincense, a part shall be for a part. ³⁵ And you shall make it incense, an ointment, a work of a perfumer, salted, pure and holy. ³⁶ And you shall grind some of it fine, and put some of it in front of the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I meet you. It shall be most holy to you.

¹¹ and the oil of anointing, and the incense of perfumes for the sanctuary; according to all which I have commanded you, they shall do.

²⁹ And he made the holy oil of anointing, and the pure incense of fragrant spices, the work of a perfumer.

³ And he made all he vessels of the altar, the pots and the shovels and the sacrificial bowls, the fleshhooks and the fire-pans. He made all its vessels of bronze.

²⁷ And he burned on it incense of fragrant spices, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

²⁴ And fire came out from before Jehovah and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. And all the people saw, and cried aloud, and fell on their faces.

¹ And Jehovah spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, as they drew near before Jehovah, and they died.

¹² And he shall take a censer full of coals of the fire from off the altar before Jehovah, and his hands full of fragrant perfumes beaten small, and bring it within the veil.

⁹ And they shall keep My charge, and shall bear no sin for it, that they may not die for it when they pollute it; I am Jehovah, who is sanctifying them.

² And these are the names of Aaron's sons: Nadab, the first-born; and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. ³ These are the names of Aaron's sons, the anointed priests whose hands he consecrated to act as priests. ⁴ And Nadab and Abihu died before Jehovah in the wilderness of Sinai, for bringing strange fire before Jehovah. And they had no sons. And Eleazar and Ithamar acted as priests in the presence of their father Aaron.

⁶ Do this: take fire-pans for yourselves, Korah, and all his company, ⁷ and put fire in them, and put incense on them before Jehovah tomorrow; and it shall be, the man whom Jehovah chooses, he shall be the holy one. You take too much, sons of Levi!

¹⁶ And Moses said to Korah, You and all your company, you be there before Jehovah, you and they, and Aaron tomorrow. ¹⁷ And each one take his fire-pan, and you shall put incense on them, and shall offer before Jehovah, each his fire-pan, two hundred and fifty fire-pans; even you and Aaron, each his fire-pan. ¹⁸ And they each took his fire-pan, and put fire on them, and lay incense on them, and they stood at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, with Moses and Aaron.

⁴⁶ And Moses said to Aaron, Take the fire-pan, and put fire on it from the altar, and lay on incense, and go, hurry to the congregation, and atone for them, for the wrath has gone out from the presence of Jehovah; the plague has begun.

⁶¹ And Nadab and Abihu died for bringing strange fire before Jehovah.

² You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, to keep the commandments of Jehovah your God which I command you.

³² All the things that I command you, take heed to do them and you shall not add to it, nor take away from it.

³ and has gone and served other gods, and worshiped them; or the sun, or the moon, or of the host of the heavens, which I have not commanded;

¹ And, behold, a man of God had come from Judah to Bethel, by the word of Jehovah, and Jeroboam was standing by the altar to burn incense. ² And he cried against the altar, by the word of Jehovah, and said, Altar! Altar! So says Jehovah, Behold, a son shall be born to the house of David, his name Josiah, and he shall sacrifice on you the priests of the high places who are burning incense on you, and they shall burn the bones of man on you.

¹⁶ And when he became strong, his heart was lifted up to act corruptly; and he trespassed against Jehovah his God, and went in to the temple of Jehovah to burn incense on the altar of incense. ¹⁷ And Azariah the priest went in after him, and eighty priests of Jehovah with him, sons of valor; ¹⁸ and they stood up against Uzziah the king, and said to him, It is not for you, O Uzziah, to burn incense to Jehovah, but to the priests, the sons of Aaron, who are sanctified to burn incense; go out of the sanctuary, for you have trespassed; and it is not to your honor from Jehovah God. ¹⁹ And Uzziah was angry, and in his hand was a censer to burn incense; and when he was angry with the priests, the leprosy rose in his forehead, before the priests, in the house of Jehovah, beside the altar of incense. ²⁰ And Azariah the head priest and all the priests turned toward him, and behold, he was leprous in his forehead. And they hurried him from there, and he also himself hurried to leave, for Jehovah had touched him.

² Let my prayer be established before You as incense; the lifting up of my palms as the evening sacrifice.

³¹ They have built the high places of Tophet in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command, nor did it come into My heart.

⁵ They have also built the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings to Baal, which I never commanded nor spoke, nor did it come into My heart.

³⁵ And they built the high places of Baal in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire to Molech, which I did not command them, nor did it come into My heart, that they should do this detestable thing, to cause Judah to sin.

⁸ to provoke Me to wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt, there where you have gone to reside, that I might cut you off, and that you might be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?

¹⁵ Then all the men who knew that their wives had burned incense to other gods, and all the women who stood by, a great assembly, even all the people who lived in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah saying,

¹⁹ And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven and poured out drink offerings to her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings to her, without our men? ²⁰ Then Jeremiah said to all the people; to the men, and to the women, and to all the people who were answering: ²¹ The incense that you burned in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, you, and your fathers, your kings, and your rulers, and the people of the land, did not Jehovah remember them? Yea, it came into His heart.

⁹ according to the custom of the priests, entering into the Holy Place of the Lord, it was Zacharias' lot to burn incense. ¹⁰ And all the multitude of the people was praying outside at the hour of incense. ¹¹ And an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right of the altar of incense.

⁴ having a golden altar of incense, and the ark of the covenant covered around on all sides with gold, in which was the golden pot having the manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;

³ And another angel came and stood on the altar, having a golden censer. And many incenses were given to him, that he give them with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne. ⁴ And the smoke of the incenses went up with the prayers of the saints out of the hand of the angel before God. ⁵ And the angel has taken the censer, and has filled it from the fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth; and sounds and thunders and lightnings and earthquakes occurred.

⁵ And they came near and carried them in their coats to the outside of the camp, as Moses had commanded.

³² and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them, and their houses, and all the men who were for Korah, and all their possessions. ³³ And they went down, they and all that they had, alive to Sheol, and the earth covered over them; and they perished from the midst of the assembly.

³⁵ And fire came forth from Jehovah and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered the incense.

⁴⁹ And those who died by the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, besides those who died for the matter of Korah.

¹⁹ And he struck among the men of Beth-shemesh, because they looked into the ark of Jehovah. Yea, He struck seventy among the people, including fifty chief men. And the people mourned because Jehovah destroyed among the people with a great destruction.

⁷ then the anger of Jehovah glowed against Uzzah. And God struck him there for the fault. And he died there by the ark of God.

¹⁰ And Elijah answered and said to the commander of fifty, And if I am a man of God, fire will come down from the heavens and consume you and your fifty. And fire came down from the heavens and consumed him and his fifty.

¹² And Elijah answered and said to them, If I am a man of God, fire will come down from the heavens and will consume you and your fifty. And fire from God came down from the heavens and consumed him and his fifty.

¹⁰ And the anger of Jehovah burned against Uzza, and He struck him, because he had put out his hand on the ark:; and he died there before God.

¹³ Because you did not do so at the first, Jehovah our God broke in against us, for we did not seek Him according to the ordinance.

² But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and they had no sons. And Eleazar and Ithamar were priests.

³³ For Topheth is ordained from yesterday. Also, it is prepared for the king; He deepened; He widened its pyre; He makes great with fire and wood. The breath of Jehovah burns in it like a torrent of brimstone.

⁵ And hearing these words, Ananias fell down and expired. And great fear came on all those hearing these things.

¹⁰ And she immediately fell at his feet and expired. And entering, the younger ones found her dead, and carrying her out, they buried her beside her husband.

¹¹ And all these things happened to those as examples, and it was written for our warning, on whom the ends of the ages have come.

²⁵ Far be it from You to act in this way, to put to death the righteous with the wicked. Far be it from You. The Judge of all the earth, shall He not do right?

⁴ And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and he will pursue you. And I will be honored through Pharaoh, and through all his armies. And the Egyptians shall know that I am Jehovah. And they did so.

²² And also the priests, those approaching Jehovah, let them sanctify themselves that Jehovah not burst forth among them.

⁴³ And I will meet the sons of Israel here and it shall be sanctified by My glory. ⁴⁴ And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar. And I will sanctify Aaron and his sons to minister as priests to Me.

³⁵ And you shall remain at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night for seven days, and you shall keep the charge of Jehovah and shall not die; for so I have been commanded.

⁶ they are holy to their God, and they shall not pollute the name of their God. For they offer the fire offerings of Jehovah, bread of their God, and they are holy.

⁸ And you shall sanctify him, for he brings near the bread of your God; he is holy to you; for I am holy, Jehovah who is sanctifying you.

¹⁵ and he shall not pollute his seed among his people; for I am Jehovah who sanctifies him.

¹⁷ Speak to Aaron, saying, No man of your seed throughout their generations shall draw near to offer the bread of his God if there is a blemish in him.

²¹ No man of the seed of Aaron the priest in whom there is a blemish shall come near to offer the fire offerings of Jehovah; a blemish is in him; he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God.

¹² And Jehovah said to Moses and Aaron, Because you did not believe in Me, to sanctify Me before the eyes of the sons of Israel, therefore you shall not bring in this congregation to the land which I have given to them.

⁵¹ because you transgressed toward Me among the sons of Israel at the Waters of Strife in Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because you did not sanctify Me in the midst of the sons of Israel.

³⁰ So says Jehovah the God of Israel, I said indeed that your house and your father's house should walk before Me until forever. But now Jehovah says, Be it far from Me! For those who honor Me, I will honor; and those despising Me will be despicable.

¹⁸ And Samuel told him all the words, and did not hide from him. And he said, It is Jehovah; He does which is good in His eyes.

²⁰ And the men of Beth-shemesh said, Who is able to stand before Jehovah, this holy God? And to whom shall He go up from us?

¹² and said to them, You are the heads of your fathers of the Levites; sanctify yourselves, you and your brothers, and you shall bring up the ark of Jehovah, the God of Israel, to the place I have prepared for it. ¹³ Because you did not do so at the first, Jehovah our God broke in against us, for we did not seek Him according to the ordinance.

²⁰ And Job rose up and tore his robe, and shaved his head. And he fell down on the ground and worshiped. ²¹ And he said, I came naked out of my mother's womb, and naked I shall return there. Jehovah gave, and Jehovah has taken away. Blessed be the name of Jehovah.

¹⁰ But he said to her, You speak as one of the foolish ones speak. Also, shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

⁹ I was dumb; I did not open my mouth, because You had done it .

¹⁰ Be still and know that I am God! I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth.

⁷ God is greatly to be feared in the congregation of the saints, and to be adored by all around Him.

¹²⁰ My flesh has shivered because of Your fear; and I have feared Your judgments.

⁸ Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, The word of Jehovah that you have said is good. And he said, For there shall be peace and truth in my days.

³ and said to Me, You are My servant, Israel, You in whom I shall be glorified.

¹¹ Turn! Turn! Go out from there! Touch not the unclean! Go out of her midst, purify yourselves, bearers of the vessels of Jehovah.

⁴¹ I will accept you with a soothing aroma when I bring you from the peoples and gather you from the lands where you have been scattered in them. And I will be sanctified among you in the eyes of the nations.

²² and say, So says the Lord Jehovah, Behold, I am against you, O Sidon, and I will be glorified in your midst. And they shall know that I am Jehovah when I have done judgments in her and shall be sanctified by her.

¹³ And he said to me, The north rooms, the south chambers which are to the face of the separate area, they are holy rooms, there where the priests shall eat, who approach to Jehovah, the holiest of the holy things . There they shall lay the holiest of the holy things, even the food offering and the sin offering, and the guilt offering. For the place is holy.

³⁷ He that loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he that loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.

²⁸ Father, glorify Your name. Then a voice came out of the heaven: I both glorified it, and I will glorify it again.

³¹ Then when he had gone out, Jesus said, Now the Son of man was glorified, and God was glorified in Him. ³² If God was glorified in Him, God also will glorify Him in Himself, and immediately will glorify Him.

¹³ And whatever you may ask in My Name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

¹¹ And great fear came on all the church and on all those hearing these things. ¹² And many miracles and wonders among the people took place through the hands of the apostles. And they were all with one passion in Solomon's Porch. ¹³ And of the rest, no one dared to be joined to them, but the people greatly magnified them.

¹⁰ when He comes to be glorified in His saints, and to be admired in all those who believe in that Day, because our testimony to you was believed.

²⁸ For this reason, receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us have grace, by which we may serve God pleasingly, with reverence and awe; ²⁹ for also, Our God is a consuming fire." Deut. 4:24

¹⁷ Because the time has come to begin the judgment from the house of God; and if firstly from us, what will be the end of the ones disobeying the gospel of God?

¹⁸ And the sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel. And the years of the life of Kohath were a hundred and thirty three years.

²² And the sons of Uzziel: Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Zithri.

¹⁹ And the sons of Kohath, by their families: Amram, and Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

³⁰ The ruler of the fathers' house of the families of the Kohathites being Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.

¹² And as He drew near to the gate of the city, even behold, one having died was being borne, an only son born to his mother; and she was a widow. And a considerable crowd of the city was with her.

⁶ And rising up the younger ones wrapped him, and carrying out, they buried him .

⁹ And Peter said to her, Why was it that it was agreed with you to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those burying your husband at the door! Yea, they will carry you out. ¹⁰ And she immediately fell at his feet and expired. And entering, the younger ones found her dead, and carrying her out, they buried her beside her husband.

² And devout men together carried Stephen and made a great lamentation over him.

¹³ And Moses brought the sons of Aaron near, and clothed them with tunics, and girded them with girdles, and bound turbans on them, as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

⁵ And Jehovah said to Moses, Say to the sons of Israel, You are a stiffnecked people; in one instant I will go up among you and I will consume you. And now lay off from you your ornaments, that I may know what I shall do to you.

⁴⁵ And the leper who has the plague in him, his garments shall be torn, and his head shall be uncovered, and he shall cover the upper lip; and he shall call out, Unclean! Unclean!

¹ And Jehovah said to Moses, Speak to the priests, Aaron's sons, and you shall say to them, None shall be defiled for the dead among his people. ² But for his relative who is near to him, for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother, ³ and for his sister, the virgin, who is near to him, who has not been with a man, for her he may be defiled. ⁴ A leader shall not defile himself among his people, to pollute himself; ⁵ they shall not make their heads bald, and they shall not shave the corner of their beard; and they shall not make a cutting in their flesh; ⁶ they are holy to their God, and they shall not pollute the name of their God. For they offer the fire offerings of Jehovah, bread of their God, and they are holy. ⁷ They shall not take a woman who is a prostitute, or polluted; nor shall they take a woman put away from her husband; for he is holy to his God. ⁸ And you shall sanctify him, for he brings near the bread of your God; he is holy to you; for I am holy, Jehovah who is sanctifying you. ⁹ And when a daughter of any priest pollutes herself by going whoring, she is polluting her father; she shall be burned with fire. ¹⁰ And the high priest of his brothers, on whose head the anointing oil is poured, and whose hand is consecrated to put on the garments, his head shall not be uncovered, nor his garments torn; ¹¹ nor shall he come near any dead person; he shall not defile himself for his father or for his mother; ¹² nor shall he go out from the sanctuary; nor shall he pollute the sanctuary of his God. For the crown of the anointing oil of his God is on him; I am Jehovah. ¹³ And he shall take a wife in her virginity. ¹⁴ He shall not take a widow, or one put away, or a polluted one, a harlot, but he shall take a virgin of his own people for a wife; ¹⁵ and he shall not pollute his seed among his people; for I am Jehovah who sanctifies him.

⁵³ But the Levites shall encamp around the tabernacle of the testimony, that there be no wrath on the congregation of the sons of Israel. And the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of the testimony.

¹⁸ And the priest shall cause the woman to stand before Jehovah, and shall uncover the woman's head, and shall give into her hand the food offering of memorial; it is a food offering of jealousy; and in the priest's hand shall be the bitter waters which cause the curse.

⁶ All the days of his separation to Jehovah he shall not go near a dead person. ⁷ He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, or for his brother, or for his sister, at their death; because his separation to his God is on his head.

⁶ And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, of those who spied out the land, tore their garments.

²² And they fell on their faces, and said, O God, God of the spirits of all flesh; shall one man sin, and will You be angry with all the congregation?

⁴¹ And all the congregation of the sons of Israel murmured on the next day against Moses and against Aaron, saying, You have killed the people of Jehovah. ⁴² And it happened, as the company was called together against Moses and against Aaron, that they turned toward the tabernacle of the congregation. And, behold, the cloud had covered it, and the glory of Jehovah appeared! ⁴³ And Moses and Aaron came to the front of the tabernacle of the congregation. ⁴⁴ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ⁴⁵ Get away from the midst of this company, and I shall consume them in a moment; and they fell on their faces. ⁴⁶ And Moses said to Aaron, Take the fire-pan, and put fire on it from the altar, and lay on incense, and go, hurry to the congregation, and atone for them, for the wrath has gone out from the presence of Jehovah; the plague has begun. ⁴⁷ And Aaron did as Moses had spoken, and ran into the midst of the assembly. And, behold, the plague had begun among the people! And he laid on the incense and atoned for the people,

⁵ And you shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar, and there shall be no more wrath against the sons of Israel.

⁹ who said of his father and his mother, I have not seen him. And he has not acknowledged his brothers, and did not know his own son, for they have kept Your word, and observed Your covenant.

¹ And the sons of Israel committed a sin in the cursed thing. And Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah took the cursed thing. And the anger of Jehovah glowed against the sons of Israel.

¹¹ Israel has sinned, and they also have transgressed My covenant which I commanded them, and have also taken of the cursed things, and have also stolen, and also deceived, and also put it among their stuff.

¹⁸ that you turn away today from following after Jehovah? And it shall be that today you rebel against Jehovah, and tomorrow He shall be angry with all the company of Israel.

²⁰ Did not Achan the son of Zerah commit a sin in the cursed thing, and was there not wrath on all the company of Israel? And he was not the only one to die in his iniquity.

¹ And again the anger of Jehovah glowed against Israel, and moved David against them, to say, Go, number Israel and Judah.

¹⁵ And Jehovah sent a plague on Israel from the morning even to the time appointed. And from Dan even to Beersheba seventy thousand of the people died. ¹⁶ And the angel put forth his hand to Jerusalem, to destroy it. And Jehovah repented as to the evil, and said to the angel who was destroying among the people, Enough! Now drop your hand. And the angel of Jehovah was near the threshing-floor of Araunah the Jebusite. ¹⁷ And when he saw the angel who was striking among the people, David spoke to Jehovah and said, Behold, I have sinned. Yea, I have acted perversely. And these, the flock, what have they done? Now let your hand be on me, and on my father's house.

²⁹ Cut off your crown and throw it away, and take up a dirge on the heights. For Jehovah has rejected and forsaken the generation of His wrath.

¹⁶ Son of man, behold, I am taking from you the desire of your eyes with a blow. Yet you shall not wail nor weep, and your tears shall not come. ¹⁷ Groan, but be silent; do not make a mourning for the dead. Bind your turban on you, and put your sandals on your feet, and do not cover the mustache nor eat the bread of men.

¹⁶ Make yourself bald, and cut off your hair for the sons of your delight. Make your baldness increase like the eagle, for they go into exile from you.

⁴¹ And you shall clothe your brother Aaron with them, and his sons with him; and you shall anoint them, and you shall consecrate them, and you shall sanctify them. And they shall minister as priests to Me.

³⁰ And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and you shall consecrate them to minister as priests to Me.

¹³ And you shall clothe Aaron with the holy garments. And you shall anoint him and sanctify him. And he shall serve as priest to Me. ¹⁴ And you shall cause to draw near his sons. And you shall clothe them with tunics. ¹⁵ And you shall anoint them as you anointed their father. And they shall serve as priests to Me. And their anointing shall be for an everlasting priesthood for their generations.

¹² And he poured of the anointing oil on the head of Aaron, and anointed him, to sanctify him.

³⁰ And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood on the altar, and sprinkled on Aaron, on his garments, and on his sons, and on his sons' garments with him. And he sanctified Aaron, his garments, and his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.

¹² nor shall he go out from the sanctuary; nor shall he pollute the sanctuary of his God. For the crown of the anointing oil of his God is on him; I am Jehovah.

²¹ And another of His disciples said to Him, Lord, allow me first to go away and bury my father. ²² But Jesus said to him, Follow Me, and allow the dead to bury their own dead.

⁶⁰ But Jesus said to him, Leave the dead to bury their dead, but going out, you announce the kingdom of God.

³⁸ Jesus the One from Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all those having been oppressed by the Devil, because God was with Him.

²¹ But He confirming us and anointing us with you in Christ is God,

¹⁷ It shall be a never ending statute for your generations in all your dwellings. You shall not eat any fat or any blood.

³ He shall separate from wine and fermented drink; he shall not drink vinegar of wine or vinegar of fermented drink; he shall not drink any juice of the grapes; and he shall not eat dry or moist grapes.

²⁰ And the priest shall wave them, a wave offering before Jehovah. It is holy to the priest, besides the breast of the wave offering, and besides the leg of the heave offering. And afterward the Nazarite shall drink wine.

¹ Wine is a mocker, strong drink is stirring, and each one straying by it is not wise.

⁴ It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine, nor for princes to lust for fermented drink, ⁵ that they not drink and forget what is decreed, and pervert the right of the afflicted ones.

⁷ But they also have gone astray by wine, and have erred through fermented drink; priest and prophet have erred through fermented drink; they have been swallowed by wine; they strayed from fermented drink; they err in seeing; they stumble in judgment;

⁵ And I set bowls and cups full of wine before the sons of the house of the Rechabites. And I said to them, Drink wine. ⁶ But they said, We will not drink wine, for Jonadab, the son of Rechab our father, commanded us, saying, You shall not drink wine, you nor your sons forever.

²¹ And every priest shall not drink wine when they enter into the inner court.

¹¹ Fornication and wine, and new wine, take away the heart.

¹⁵ For he shall be great in the eyes of the Lord, and he shall not drink wine or strong drink. And he will be filled of the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb.

¹⁸ And "do not be drunk with wine," in which is debauchery, but be filled by the Spirit, Prov. 23:31

³ not a drinker, not a contentious one, not greedy of ill gain, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not loving money;

⁸ Likewise, deacons to be reverent, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not greedy of ill gain,

²³ No longer drink water, but use a little wine on account of your stomach and your frequent infirmities.

⁷ (for the overseer must be blameless as a steward of God), not self-pleasing, not prone to anger, not given to wine, not a quarreler, not greedy of ill gain;

⁴⁷ to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living thing that may be eaten and the living thing that may not be eaten.

²⁵ And you shall make a difference between the clean animals and the unclean, and between the unclean fowl and the clean. And you shall not defile yourself by beast or by fowl, or by anything which swarms the ground, which I have set apart to you as unclean; ²⁶ and you shall be holy to Me, for I, Jehovah, am holy; and I have set you apart from the nations to become Mine.

¹⁹ So Jehovah says this: If you return, then I will bring you again; you shall stand before Me. And if you take the precious from the worthless, you shall be as My mouth. Let them turn back to you, but do not return to them.

²⁶ Her priests have violated My law and have profaned My holy things. They have not divided between the holy and the common, and between the unclean and clean they have not taught. And they have hidden their eyes from the sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

²³ And they shall teach My people between the holy and the common, and between the unclean and the clean, to make them known.

¹⁵ Truly, all things are pure to the pure, but to the ones having been defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but even their mind and conscience has been defiled.

¹⁴ as children of obedience, not fashioning yourselves to your former lusts in your ignorance, ¹⁵ but according to the Holy One who has called you, you also become holy in all conduct; ¹⁶ because it has been written, "Be holy," "because I am holy." Lev. 19:2

⁸ Be on guard in the plague of leprosy, that you watch closely and do according to all that the Levitical priests shall teach you. As I commanded them, so you shall be careful to do.

¹⁰ They shall teach Your ordinances to Jacob, and Your law to Israel. They shall put incense at Your nostrils, and whole burnt offering on Your altar.

⁹ And they taught in Judah; and with them was the book of the law of Jehovah. And they went around to all the cities of Judah, and taught among the people.

²² And Hezekiah spoke to the heart of all the Levites, those having good understanding as to Jehovah. And they ate the appointed things seven days, offering sacrifices of peace offerings, and making confession to Jehovah, the God of their fathers.

² And Ezra the priest brought the Law before the congregation, both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, on the first day of the seventh month.

⁸ And they read aloud clearly in the Book of the Law of God, and they gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.

¹³ And You came down on Mount Sinai and spoke with them from the heavens, and gave them right judgments and true laws, good statutes and commandments. ¹⁴ And You made Your holy sabbath known to them, and You commanded commandments, statutes, and laws, to them by the hand of Your servant Moses.

⁸ The priests did not say, Where is Jehovah? And they who handle the law did not know Me. And the shepherds rebelled against Me; and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and went after things not profitable.

¹⁸ Then they said, Come and let us plot schemes against Jeremiah. For the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor word from the prophet. Come and let us strike him with the tongue, and let us not listen to any of his words.

⁷ For the lips of the priest should guard knowledge, and they should seek the law from his mouth; for he is the messenger of Jehovah of hosts.

²⁰ teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the completion of the age. Amen.

²⁷ For I did not keep back from declaring to you all the counsel of God.

² For you know what injunctions we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

² and unleavened bread, and unleavened cakes poured over with oil, and unleavened waters anointed with oil; you shall make them of fine wheat flour.

¹ And when a person brings near an offering, a food offering to Jehovah, his offering shall be of flour. And he shall pour oil on it; and he shall put on it frankincense. ² And he shall bring it to the sons of Aaron the priest, And he shall take out of it his handful from its flour, and from its oil, with all its frankincense. And the priest shall burn it as incense on the altar, a memorial offering, a fire offering, a soothing fragrance to Jehovah. ³ And the rest of the food offering is for Aaron and for his sons, most holy, of the fire offerings of Jehovah. ⁴ And when you bring near an offering, a food offering baked in an oven, fine flour, unleavened cakes mixed with oil, or unleavened thin cakes anointed with oil. ⁵ And if your offering is a food offering baked in a pan, it shall be of unleavened fine flour, mixed with oil. ⁶ You shall divide it into bits, and you should pour oil on it; it is a food offering. ⁷ And if your offering is a food offering on a griddle, your offering shall be fine flour mixed with oil; ⁸ And you shall bring the food offering made of these things to Jehovah, and shall bring it to the priest. And the priest shall bring it near to the altar. ⁹ And the priest shall lift up the food offering, its memorial offering, and shall burn it as incense on the altar, a fire offering, a soothing fragrance to Jehovah. ¹⁰ And the rest of the food offering is for Aaron and his sons, most holy, of the offerings of Jehovah. ¹¹ Any food offering which you shall bring to Jehovah, you shall not make it leavened; for all leaven and all honey you shall not burn it as incense, a fire offering to Jehovah. ¹² As an offering of firstfruits, you shall bring them to Jehovah, but they shall not go up on the altar for a soothing fragrance. ¹³ And every offering of your food offering you shall season with salt, and you shall not let the salt of the covenant of your God be lacking from your food offering; you shall offer salt with all your offerings. ¹⁴ And if you bring near a food offering of firstfruits to Jehovah, fresh ears roasted with fire, kernels from a garden, you shall bring near your firstfruits for a food offering. ¹⁵ And you shall put oil on it, and lay on it frankincense; it is a food offering. ¹⁶ And the priest shall burn it as incense, with its memorial offering from its kernels, and from its oil, besides all its frankincense, a fire offering to Jehovah.

¹⁴ And this is the law of the food offering: the sons of Aaron shall bring it near before Jehovah, to the front of the altar. ¹⁵ And he shall lift from it his handful of the flour of the food offering, and of its oil, and all the frankincense on the food offering. And he shall burn it as incense on the altar, a soothing fragrance from its memorial to Jehovah. ¹⁶ And Aaron and his sons shall eat the rest. It shall be eaten with unleavened things in the holy place, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it. ¹⁷ It shall not be baked with leaven. I have given it as their portion out of My fire offerings. It is most holy, like the sin offering, and like the guilt offering. ¹⁸ Every male among the sons of Aaron shall eat it, a never ending statute throughout your generations from the fire offerings of Jehovah. All that touches them shall be holy.

⁹ And every food offering which was baked in an oven, and every one that is prepared in the stewing pan, and on the griddle, shall be the priest's that offers it; it is his.

²² He shall eat of the bread of his God, of the most holy things, and of the holy things.

⁹ This shall be yours of the most holy things, from the fire: every offering of theirs, even every food offering of theirs, and every sin offering of theirs, and every guilt offering of theirs, which they may render to Me; it shall be most holy to you, and to your sons. ¹⁰ You shall eat it in the Holy of Holies; every male shall eat it; it shall be holy to you.

²⁹ They shall eat the food offering and the sin offering and the guilt offering. And every devoted thing in Israel shall be theirs.

³ And the rest of the food offering is for Aaron and for his sons, most holy, of the fire offerings of Jehovah.

¹⁶ And Aaron and his sons shall eat the rest. It shall be eaten with unleavened things in the holy place, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it.

¹⁰ You shall eat it in the Holy of Holies; every male shall eat it; it shall be holy to you.

²⁴ And you shall put all on the palms of Aaron and on the palms of his sons. And you shall wave them a wave offering before the face of Jehovah. ²⁵ And you shall take them from their hands, and you shall burn the burnt offering on the altar for a soothing fragrance before the face of Jehovah; it is a fire offering to Jehovah. ²⁶ And you shall take the breast from the ram of consecration which is on Aaron. And you shall wave it a wave offering before the face of Jehovah; it shall be your portion. ²⁷ And you shall sanctify the breast of the wave offering, and the thigh of the heave offering, which is waved and which is lifted from the ram of consecration, from what is Aaron's, and from what is to his sons. ²⁸ And it shall be for Aaron and for his sons for a never ending statute from the sons of Israel; it is for a heave offering, and it shall be a heave offering from the sons of Israel from the sacrifices of their peace offerings, their heave offering to Jehovah.

²⁹ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, He who brings near the sacrifice of his peace offerings to Jehovah shall bring his offering to Jehovah from the sacrifice of his peace offerings; ³⁰ his own hands shall bring in the fire offerings of Jehovah; the fat beside the breast he shall bring in with the breast, to wave it as a wave offering before Jehovah. ³¹ And the priest shall burn the fat on the altar as incense; and the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons. ³² And you shall make a heave offering of the right leg to the priest of the sacrifices of your peace offerings; ³³ one of the sons of Aaron who is bringing near the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, the right leg is his for a portion. ³⁴ For the breast of the wave and the leg of the heave offering, I have taken from the sons of Israel, from the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and I have given them to Aaron the priest, and to his sons, by a never ending statute, from the sons of Israel.

²¹ And Aaron waved the breasts, and the right leg as a wave offering before Jehovah, as Moses commanded

¹¹ And this is yours, the heave offering of their gift with all the wave offerings of the sons of Israel. I have given them to you, and to your sons, and to your daughters with you, by a never ending statute; every clean one in your house shall eat it.

³⁴ Jesus said to them, My food is that I should do the will of Him who sent Me, and that I may finish His work.

¹⁵ For all the land which you see I will give to you, and to your seed forever.

⁸ And I will give to you and to your seed after you the land of your sojourning, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession and I will be their God.

¹³ Surely the child of your house and the purchase of your money must be circumcised. And My covenant shall be in your flesh for a perpetual covenant.

¹⁷ And Abraham fell on his face and laughed. And he said in his heart, Shall one be born to a son of a hundred years? And shall Sarah bear, a daughter of ninety years?

²⁹ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, He who brings near the sacrifice of his peace offerings to Jehovah shall bring his offering to Jehovah from the sacrifice of his peace offerings; ³⁰ his own hands shall bring in the fire offerings of Jehovah; the fat beside the breast he shall bring in with the breast, to wave it as a wave offering before Jehovah.

³⁴ For the breast of the wave and the leg of the heave offering, I have taken from the sons of Israel, from the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and I have given them to Aaron the priest, and to his sons, by a never ending statute, from the sons of Israel.

¹³ Do you not know that those who have labored eat of the holy things of the temple? Those attending on the altar partake with the altar. ¹⁴ So also the Lord ordained those announcing the gospel to live from the gospel.

¹⁹ And it happened, as he came near to the camp and saw the calf and dances, the anger of Moses glowed. And he threw the tablets from his hands, and he broke them below the mountain. ²⁰ And he took the calf which they had made and burned it with fire and ground it until it was fine, then he scattered it on the face of the water. And he made the sons of Israel to drink it . ²¹ And Moses said to Aaron, What has this people done to you that you have made to come on them a great sin? ²² And Aaron said, Let not anger of my lord glow. You know the people, that it is in evil.

²⁶ The priest who offers it for sin shall eat it. It shall be eaten in the holy place in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation.

³⁰ And any sin offering of whose blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation to make atonement in the sanctuary shall not be eaten. It shall be burned with fire.

³ And speak to the sons of Israel, saying, Take a kid of the goats for a sin offering, and a calf, and a lamb, sons of a year, perfect ones, for a burnt offering;

¹⁵ And he brought the offering of the people, and took the goat of the sin offering which is for the people, and killed it, and made it a sin offering like the first.

³ And the man Moses was very meek, more than any man who was on the face of the earth.

²² But I say to you, Everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause shall be liable to the Judgment. And whoever says to his brother, Raca, shall be liable to the sanhedrin; but whoever says, Fool! shall be liable to be thrown into the fire of Hell.

⁵ And having looked around on them with anger, being greatly grieved over the hardness of their heart, He said to the man, Stretch out your hand! And he stretched out, and his hand was restored sound as the other.

¹⁴ But seeing, Jesus was indignant. And He said to them, Allow the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them. For of such is the kingdom of God.

²⁶ "Be angry but do not sin;" do not let the sun go down on your wrath, LXX-Psa. 4:4; MT-Psa. 4:5

³⁸ And it shall be on Aaron's forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the holy things which will sanctify the sons of Israel to all their holy gifts. And it shall be on his forehead continually, for acceptance for them before the face of Jehovah.

⁴³ And they shall be on Aaron and on his sons in their going into he tabernacle of the congregation, or in their drawing near to the altar to minister in the sanctuary, and so that they shall not raise up iniquity and die. It is a never ending statute to him and to his seed after him.

²⁴ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ²⁵ Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is killed, the sin offering shall be killed before Jehovah. It is most holy. ²⁶ The priest who offers it for sin shall eat it. It shall be eaten in the holy place in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation. ²⁷ All that touches its flesh shall be holy. And when any of its blood is sprinkled on the garment, that on which it is sprinkled shall be washed in the holy place. ²⁸ And an earthen vessel in which it is boiled shall be broken. And if it is boiled in a bronze vessel, then it shall be scoured and rinsed with water. ²⁹ Every male among the priests shall eat of it. It is most holy. ³⁰ And any sin offering of whose blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation to make atonement in the sanctuary shall not be eaten. It shall be burned with fire.

⁶ Every male among the priests shall eat it; it shall be eaten in the holy place. It is most holy. ⁷ As a sin offering is, so a guilt offering. One law is for them The priest who makes atonement by it, it is his.

²² And the goat shall bear on him all their iniquities to a land cut off. And he shall send the goat away into the wilderness.

¹⁶ and so cause them to bear the iniquity of the guilt offering in their eating their holy things. For I am Jehovah who sanctifies them.

¹ And Jehovah said to Aaron, You, and your sons, and your father's house with you shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary. And you, and your sons with you, shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood;

⁶ All we like sheep have gone astray; we have each one turned to his own way; and Jehovah made meet in Him the iniquity of all of us. ⁷ He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, but He did not open His mouth. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a ewe before her shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth. ⁸ He was taken from prison and from justice; and who shall consider His generation? For He was cut off out of the land of the living; from the transgression of My people, the stroke was to Him. ⁹ And He put His grave with the wicked; and with a rich man in His death; although He had done no violence, and deceit was not in His mouth. ¹⁰ But Jehovah pleased to crush Him, to make Him sick, so that If He should put His soul as a guilt offering, He shall see His seed; He shall prolong His days; and the will of Jehovah shall prosper in His hand. ¹¹ He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul; He shall be fully satisfied. By His knowledge shall My righteous Servant justify for many, and He shall bear their iniquities.

⁴ And you, lie down on your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel on it. The number of the days that you shall lie down on it, you shall bear their iniquity. ⁵ For I have laid on you the years of their iniquity, according to the number of days: three hundred and ninety days. And you shall bear the house of Israel's iniquity. ⁶ And when you complete them, even lie on your right side, the second. And you shall bear the house of Judah's iniquity forty days; a day for a year. I have set it for you, a day for a year.

¹⁹ Yet you say, Why? Does not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son has done justice and righteousness, he has kept all My statutes and has done them, surely he shall live. ²⁰ The soul that sins, it shall die. A son shall not bear the iniquity of the father. And a father shall not bear the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be on him.

²⁹ On the morrow, John sees Jesus coming toward him and said, Behold! The Lamb of God, taking away the sin of the world!

²¹ For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

²⁸ so being once offered "to bear the sins of many," Christ shall appear a second time without sin to those expecting Him for salvation. Isa. 53:12

²⁴ who "Himself bore in His body our sins" onto the tree; that dying to sins, we might live to righteousness; of whom, "by His wound, you were healed.

⁸ And Aaron drew near to the altar and killed the calf of the sin offering, which is for himself;

¹² And he killed the burnt offering. And Aaron's sons presented the blood to him and he sprinkled it on the altar all around;

⁷ And you shall eat there before Jehovah your God, and shall rejoice in all that you put your hand to, you and your households, with which Jehovah your God has blessed you.

¹⁴ I have not eaten of it in my mourning; nor have I put any of it away for uncleanness; nor have I given of it for the dead. I have listened to the voice of Jehovah my God. I have done according to all that You have commanded me.

⁷ And so he did year by year, as often as she went up to the house of Jehovah, so she provoked her. And she wept, and did not eat. ⁸ And her husband Elkanah said to her, Hannah, why do you weep? And why do you not eat? And why is your heart afflicted? Am I not better to you than ten sons?

¹¹ What good to Me are your many sacrifices, says Jehovah? I am full of burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fattened cattle, and the blood of bulls; nor do I delight in the blood of lambs and he goats.

¹⁵ And when you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you. Yea, when you multiply prayer, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.

²⁰ Why is this to Me? Frankincense comes from Sheba, and the good cane from a far land? Your burnt offerings are not for acceptance, nor are your sacrifices sweet to Me.

¹² I will not listen to their cry when they fast; and when they offer burnt offering and grain offering I will not accept them. But I will consume them by the sword, and by famine, and by the plague.

⁴ They shall not offer wine to Jehovah. They shall not be pleasing to Him. Their sacrifices shall be like the bread of sorrows to them; all who eat it shall be defiled, for their bread is for their person; it shall not come into the house of Jehovah.

¹⁰ Who is even among you that will shut the doors, and you not kindle fire on My altar in vain? There is no delight to Me in you, says Jehovah of hosts. I will not be pleased with a food offering from you.

¹³ And you have said, Behold, what weariness! And you have sniffed at it, says Jehovah of hosts. And you bring plunder, and the lame, and the sick; and you bring the meal offering. Should I accept it from your hand? says Jehovah.

¹³ And this is a second thing you have done: covering the altar of Jehovah with tears, with weeping and groaning; yet not facing toward the food offering, and taking it with delight from your hand.

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, Rejoice!

²⁷ who has no need, as do the high priests, to offer sacrifices day by day, first for His own sins, then for those of the people. For He did this once for all, offering up Himself.

⁸ the Holy Spirit signifying by this that the way of the Holies has not yet been made manifest, the first tabernacle still having standing;

¹⁸ For many of the people, many from Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun had not been cleansed, but ate the passover otherwise than was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, O good Jehovah, provide atonement for ¹⁹ everyone who has prepared his heart to seek Jehovah God, the God of his fathers, yet not according to the cleansing of the sanctuary. ²⁰ And Jehovah listened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.

⁸ And the word of Jehovah was to Zechariah, saying, ⁹ So says Jehovah of hosts, saying, Judge true judgment, and practice kindness and pity, each man with his brother.

³ But He said to them, Have you not read what David did, when he and those with him hungered? ⁴ How he entered into the house of God, and he ate the Bread of Arrangement, which it was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those with him, but for the priests only? ⁵ Or have you not read in the Law that on the sabbaths the priests in the temple profane the sabbath and are guiltless? ⁶ But I say to you, One greater than the temple is here. ⁷ But if you had known what this is, "I desire mercy and not sacrifice," you would not have condemned the guiltless.
