¹ Who has believed our report? And to whom is the arm of Jehovah revealed? ² For He comes up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form nor magnificence that we should see Him; nor form that we should desire Him. ³ He is despised and abandoned of men, a Man of pains, and acquainted with sickness. And as it were hiding our faces from Him, He being despised, and we did not value Him. ⁴ Surely He has borne our sicknesses, and He carried our pain; yet we esteemed Him plagued, smitten by God, and afflicted. ⁵ But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His wounds we ourselves are healed. ⁶ All we like sheep have gone astray; we have each one turned to his own way; and Jehovah made meet in Him the iniquity of all of us. ⁷ He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, but He did not open His mouth. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a ewe before her shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth. ⁸ He was taken from prison and from justice; and who shall consider His generation? For He was cut off out of the land of the living; from the transgression of My people, the stroke was to Him. ⁹ And He put His grave with the wicked; and with a rich man in His death; although He had done no violence, and deceit was not in His mouth. ¹⁰ But Jehovah pleased to crush Him, to make Him sick, so that If He should put His soul as a guilt offering, He shall see His seed; He shall prolong His days; and the will of Jehovah shall prosper in His hand. ¹¹ He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul; He shall be fully satisfied. By His knowledge shall My righteous Servant justify for many, and He shall bear their iniquities. ¹² Because of this I will divide to Him with the great, and with the strong He shall divide the spoil; because He poured out His soul to death; and He was counted with transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for transgressors.

⁵ And the glory of Jehovah shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of Jehovah has spoken.

⁹ Awake! Awake! Arm of Jehovah, put on strength. Awake, as in days of old, everlasting generations. Was it not You cutting in pieces Rahab, and piercing the sea monster?

¹⁰ Jehovah has bared His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

⁸ Jehovah has sworn by His right hand, and by the might of His arm: Surely I will no longer give your grain as food for your enemies; and the sons of a stranger shall not drink your new wine for which you have labored.

²⁵ Answering at that time, Jesus said, I praise You, Father, Lord of Heaven and of Earth, because You hid these things from the sophisticated and cunning and revealed them to babes.

¹⁷ And answering, Jesus said to him, Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah, for flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but My Father in Heaven.

⁷ He came for a witness, that he might witness concerning the Light, that all might believe through Him.

¹² But as many as received Him, to them He gave authority to become children of God, to the ones believing into His name,

³⁸ so that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he said, "Lord, who has believed our report? And the arm of the Lord, to whom was it revealed?" Isa. 53:1

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation to everyone believing, both to Jew first, and to Greek; ¹⁷ for in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; even as it has been written, "But the just shall live by" "faith." Hab. 2:4 ¹⁸ For God's wrath is revealed from Heaven on all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, holding the truth in unrighteousness,

¹⁶ But not all obeyed the gospel, for Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?" Isa. 53:1 ¹⁷ Then faith is of hearing, and hearing through the Word of God.

¹⁸ For the word of the cross is foolishness to those being lost, but to us being saved, it is the power of God.

²⁴ but to the called-out ones, both to Jews and to Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God;

¹⁸ the eyes of your mind having been enlightened, for you to know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, ¹⁹ and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us, the ones believing according to the working of His mighty strength

¹ And a Shoot goes out from the stump of Jesse, and a Branch will bear fruit out of his roots.

¹⁴ Just as many were astonished over You, so much was the disfigurement from man, His appearance and His form from sons of mankind.

⁵ Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and act wisely, and shall do justice and righteousness in the earth.

²² So says the Lord Jehovah: I will also take, even I, of the top of the highest cedar and I will set it; I will crop off a tender one from the first of its young twig, and I will plant it on a high and lofty mountain. ²³ I will plant it in a high mountain of Israel. And it will bear boughs and produce fruit and will become a majestic cedar. And every bird of every wing shall dwell under it; they shall dwell in the shadow of its branches. ²⁴ And all the trees of the field shall know that I, Jehovah, have brought down the high tree. and have exalted the low tree, and have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree flourish. I, Jehovah, have spoken and acted.

¹² And speak to him, saying, So says Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold! The Man whose name is THE BRANCH! And He shall spring up out of His place, and He shall build the temple of Jehovah.

³ Is this one not the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James and Joseph and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended in Him.

¹² And answering, He said to them, Indeed, Elijah coming first restores all things. And how it has been written of the Son of man that He suffer many things and be despised!

⁷ And she bore her son, the First-born. And she wrapped Him and laid Him in the manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.

³⁹ And as they finished all things according to the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to Nazareth their city. ⁴⁰ And the Child grew, and became strong in spirit, being filled with wisdom. And the grace of God was upon Him.

⁵¹ And He went with them and came to Nazareth and was being subject to them. And His mother carefully kept all these words in her heart. ⁵² And Jesus progressed in wisdom and stature and favor before God and men. see 1 Sam. 2:26

⁵⁸ And Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven nests, but the Son of man has nowhere He may lay His head.

¹⁰ He was in the world, and the world came into being through Him, yet the world did not know Him. ¹¹ He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. ¹² But as many as received Him, to them He gave authority to become children of God, to the ones believing into His name, ¹³ who were born not of bloods, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but were born of God. ¹⁴ And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, glory as of an only begotten from the Father, full of grace and of truth.

²⁸ Then they reviled him and said, You are a disciple of that one, but we are disciples of Moses. ²⁹ We know that God has spoken by Moses, but this one, we do not know from where he is.

⁴⁰ Then all cried out again, saying, Not this one, but Barabbas! But Barabbas was a robber.

⁵ Then Jesus came outside, wearing the thorny wreath and the purple mantle. And he said to them, Behold, the Man!

¹⁴ And it was the Preparation of the Passover, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Jews, Behold, your king! ¹⁵ But they cried out, Away, Away! Crucify him! Pilate said to them, Shall I crucify your king? The chief priests answered, We have no king except Caesar.

³ For the law being powerless, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh,

⁶ who subsisting in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God, ⁷ but emptied Himself, taking the form of a slave, having become in the likeness of men

¹⁴ or to governors, as through Him having indeed been sent for vengeance on evildoers, but praise on well doers,

¹⁵ But Jeshurun grew fat, and kicked; you grew fat, thick and sated. And he abandoned God who made him, and fell away from the Rock of his salvation.

⁶ But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of mankind, and despised by the people. ⁷ All who see Me scornfully laugh at me; they open the lip; they shake the head, saying, ⁸ He rolled on Jehovah, let Him deliver Him; let Him rescue Him, since He delights in Him.

¹⁰ When I humbled my soul with fasting, it also was to my reproach; ¹¹ I also made sackcloth my clothing, and I became a mockery to them. ¹² They who sit in the gate spoke of me; and I was the song of drunkards.

¹⁹ You know my reproach and my shame, and my dishonor; my enemies are all before You. ²⁰ Reproach has broken my heart, and I am faint; and I waited for one to show pity, but there was no one; and for comforters, but I found none.

²⁹ But I am poor and in pain; O God, Your salvation shall set me on high.

⁷ So says Jehovah, the Redeemer of Israel, His Holy One, to the despised of soul, to the hated of the nation, the servant of rulers, Kings shall see and rise up; and chiefs shall worship; because of Jehovah who is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel; and He chose You.

⁶ I gave My back to strikers, and My cheeks to pluckers; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting.

⁴ Surely He has borne our sicknesses, and He carried our pain; yet we esteemed Him plagued, smitten by God, and afflicted.

¹⁰ But Jehovah pleased to crush Him, to make Him sick, so that If He should put His soul as a guilt offering, He shall see His seed; He shall prolong His days; and the will of Jehovah shall prosper in His hand.

¹ Now gather yourself together, daughter of a troop; one sets a siege against us. They shall strike the Judge of Israel with a rod on the cheek.

⁸ I also cut off three shepherds in one month. And My soul despised them, and their soul also detested Me.

¹² And I said to them, If it is good in your eyes, give My price; and if not, let it go. And they weighed My price, thirty pieces of silver. ¹³ And Jehovah said to Me, Throw it to the potter, the magnificent price at which I was valued by them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw it to the potter in the house of Jehovah.

³⁷ And taking along Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, He began to grieve and to be deeply troubled. ³⁸ Then He said to them, My soul is deeply grieved, even unto death. Stay here and watch with Me.

⁶⁷ Then they spat in His face, and beat Him with the fist, and some slapped Him,

⁹ Then was fulfilled that spoken through Jeremiah the prophet, saying, And I took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of Him who had been priced, on whom they of the sons of Israel set a price, ¹⁰ and gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord directed me. Zech. 11:12, 13

³⁹ But those passing by, blasphemed Him, shaking their heads, ⁴⁰ and saying, You destroying the Holy Place and building it in three days, if you are the Son of God, come down from the cross. ⁴¹ And in the same way, the chief priests with the scribes and elders, mocking, said, ⁴² He saved others; he is not able to save himself. If he is the king of Israel, let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe him. ⁴³ He trusted on God. Let Him rescue him now, if He desires him. For he said, I am Son of God. ⁴⁴ And also the robbers crucified with Him reviled Him, saying the same.

⁶³ saying, Sir, we have recalled that that deceiver while living said, After three days I will rise.

³⁴ And He said to them, My soul is deeply grieved, unto death. Remain here and watch.

¹⁹ And they struck His head with a reed, and spat at Him. And placing the knees, they bowed to Him.

⁵³ And they scoffed at Him, knowing that she died.

²² saying, The Son of man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.

¹⁴ And being lovers of money, the Pharisees also heard all these things; and they derided Him.

³¹ And taking the Twelve, He said to them, Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things will be fulfilled which have been written through the prophets to the Son of man. ³² For He will be delivered up to the nations, and will be mocked, and will be insulted, and will be spat upon. ³³ And flogging Him, they will kill Him. And on the third day He will rise again.

⁴¹ And as He drew near, seeing the city, He wept over it,

¹⁸ And they all together shouted, saying, Take this one, and release Barabbas to us ¹⁹ ( he who was thrown into prison due to some revolt and murder occurring in the city .) ²⁰ Then Pilate again called out, desiring to release Jesus. ²¹ But they shouted, saying, Crucify! Crucify him! ²² And a third time he said to them, For what evil did this one do? I found no cause of death in him. Therefore, chastising him, I will release him . ²³ But with loud voices they insisted, asking for Him to be crucified. And their voices, and that of the chief priests, prevailed. ²⁴ And Pilate adjudged their request to be done. ²⁵ And he released to them the one thrown into prison due to revolt and murder, whom they asked. But he delivered Jesus to their will.

⁴⁸ Then the Jews answered and said to Him, Do we not say well that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?

³⁵ Jesus wept.

¹³ The "God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob," "the God of our fathers," Ex. 3:15 glorified His child Jesus, whom you delivered up, and denied Him in the presence of Pilate, that one having decided to set Him free. ¹⁴ But you denied the Holy and Just One, and asked for a man, a murderer, to be granted to you. ¹⁵ And the Author of Life you killed, whom God raised up from the dead, of which we are witnesses.

¹⁵ and might set these free, as many as by fear of death were subject to slavery through all the time to live. ¹⁶ For indeed He does not take hold of angels, "but He takes hold of" " the seed of Abraham." Isa. 41:8, 9 ¹⁷ For this reason He ought by all means to become like His brothers, that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the things respecting God, in order to make propitiation for the sins of His people. ¹⁸ For in what He has suffered, being tried, He is able to help those having been tried.

¹⁵ For we do not have a high priest not being able to sympathize with our weaknesses but One having been tried in all respects according to our likeness, apart from sin.

⁷ who in the days of His flesh was offering both petitions and entreaties to Him being able to save Him from death, with strong crying and tears, and being heard from His godly fear;

² looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith, Jesus, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, "and sat down at the right" of the throne of God. Psa. 110:1 ³ For consider Him who had endured such gainsaying of sinners against Himself, that you do not grow weary, fainting in your souls.

²⁶ For whom You have stricken, they have persecuted; and they gossip to the pain of those You pierced.

¹³ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it has been written, "Cursed is everyone having been hung on a tree;" Deut. 21:23

²⁸ so being once offered "to bear the sins of many," Christ shall appear a second time without sin to those expecting Him for salvation. Isa. 53:12

²⁴ who "Himself bore in His body our sins" onto the tree; that dying to sins, we might live to righteousness; of whom, "by His wound, you were healed.

¹⁸ Because even Christ once suffered concerning sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God; indeed being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit;

² And He is the propitiation relating to our sins, and not relating to ours only, but also relating to all the world.

¹⁵ And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He will bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.

²⁴ Seventy weeks are decreed as to your people, and as to your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make atonement for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.

⁷ O sword, awake against My Shepherd, and against the Man who is My companion, says Jehovah of hosts. Strike the Shepherd and the sheep will be scattered. And I will turn My hand against the little ones.

²⁸ Even as the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

²⁴ being justified freely by His grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus, ²⁵ whom God set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, for a showing forth of His righteousness through the passing by of the sins that had taken place before, in the forbearance of God, ²⁶ for the showing forth of His righteousness in the present time, for His being just and justifying the one that is of the faith of Jesus.

²⁵ who was delivered because our offenses and was raised because of our justification.

⁶ for we yet being without strength, in due time Christ died for ungodly ones. ⁷ For with difficulty one will die for a just one, (for perhaps one even dares to die for the sake of the good one), ⁸ but God commends His love to us in this, that we being yet sinners, Christ died for us. ⁹ Much more then, being justified now by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. ¹⁰ For if while being enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life;

¹⁵ But the free gift shall not be also like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more the grace of God, and the gift in grace, which is of the one Man, Jesus Christ, did abound to the many. ¹⁶ And the gift shall not be as by one having sinned; for indeed the judgment was of one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offenses to justification. ¹⁷ For if by the offense of the one death reigned through the one, much more those who are receiving the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall rule in life by the One, Jesus Christ. ¹⁸ So then, as through one offense it was toward all men to condemnation, so also by one accomplished righteousness toward all men to justification of life. ¹⁹ For as through the one man's disobedience the many were constituted sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many shall be constituted righteous. ²⁰ But Law came in beside, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace much more abounded, ²¹ that as sin ruled in death, so also grace might rule through righteousness to everlasting life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

³ For I delivered to you in the first place what I also received, that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures,

²¹ For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

² and walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell.

¹² nor through the blood of goats and of calves, but through His own blood, He entered once for all into the Holy of Holies, having procured everlasting redemption. ¹³ For if the blood of bulls and goats, and ashes of a heifer sprinkling those having been defiled, sanctifies to the purity of the flesh, ¹⁴ by how much more the blood of Christ (who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God), will purify your conscience from dead works for the serving of the living God! ¹⁵ And because of this He is Mediator of a new covenant, so that, death having occurred for redemption of transgressions under the first covenant, those having been called out might receive the promise of the everlasting inheritance.

¹⁰ by which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

¹⁴ For by one offering He has perfected in perpetuity the ones being sanctified.

²⁴ who "Himself bore in His body our sins" onto the tree; that dying to sins, we might live to righteousness; of whom, "by His wound, you were healed. ²⁵ For you were straying sheep," Isa. 53:4 -6 but now you are turned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

⁴ They who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head; they who would destroy me are mighty, my lying enemies; then I restored what I did not take by violence.

¹⁷⁶ I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek Your servant; for I do not forget Your commandments.

⁷ Let the wicked forsake his way and the vain man his thoughts; and let him return to Jehovah, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

¹¹ yea, dogs greedy of soul; they do not know satisfaction. And they are shepherds; they know not discernment; they all look to their own way, each one for his own gain, from his own end, saying:

¹⁸ In My saying to the wicked, Surely you shall die; and you do not warn him, and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, he, the wicked, shall die in his iniquity. But I will require his blood at your hand.

¹² What do you think? If there be to any man a hundred sheep, and one of them strays away, will he not leave the ninety nine on the mountains, and going, seek the straying one ? ¹³ And if he happens to find it, truly I say to you that he rejoices over it more than over the ninety nine not going astray. ¹⁴ So it is not the will before your Father in Heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

³ And He spoke to them this parable, saying, ⁴ What man of you having a hundred sheep, and losing one of them, does not leave the ninety nine in the deserted place and go after the lost one until he finds it? ⁵ And finding it, he puts it on his shoulders, rejoicing. ⁶ And coming to the house, he calls together the friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that had been lost. ⁷ I say to you that so is joy in Heaven over one sinner repenting, than over ninety nine righteous ones who have no need of repentance.

¹⁰ according as it has been written, "There is none righteous, not one!" ¹¹ There is none that understands, there is "not one that seeks after God. ¹² All turned away, they became worthless together, not one is doing goodness, not so much as one!" LXX-Psa. 13:1 -3 ¹³ "Their throat is an opened grave;" "they used deceit with their tongues; the poison of asps is under their lips; ¹⁴ whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness. ¹⁵ Their feet are swift to shed blood; ¹⁶ ruin and misery are in their way; ¹⁷ and they did not know a way of peace; ¹⁸ there is no fear of God before their eyes." ²⁰ know that the one turning a sinner from the error of his way will save the soul from death, and will hide a multitude of sins.

²⁵ For you were straying sheep," Isa. 53:4 -6 but now you are turned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

⁶³ But Jesus kept silent. And answering, the high priest said to Him, I adjure you by the living God that you tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.

¹² And when He was accused by the chief priests and the elders, He answered nothing. ¹³ Then Pilate said to Him, Do you not hear how many things they testify against you? ¹⁴ And He did not answer him, not even to one word, so that the governor greatly marveled.

⁶¹ But He was silent and answered nothing. Again the high priest questioned Him, and said to Him, Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?

⁵ But Jesus answered nothing any more, so as for Pilate to marvel.

⁹ And he questioned Him in many words. But He answered him not a thing.

⁹ And he entered into the praetorium again and said to Jesus, From where are you? But Jesus did not give him an answer.

³² And the content of the Scripture which he was reading was this: "He was led as a sheep to slaughter, and as a lamb voiceless before the one shearing it, so He does not open His mouth. ³³ In His humiliation His judgment was taken away; and who will recount His generation? For His life is taken away from the earth." Isa. 53:7, 8

²³ who, having been reviled, did not revile in return; suffering, He did not threaten, but gave Himself up to Him who was judging righteously;

¹² Many bulls have circled around Me; strong bulls of Bashan have surrounded Me. ¹³ They opened their mouth on Me, like a lion ripping and roaring. ¹⁴ I am poured out like waters, and all My bones are spread apart; My heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of My bowels. ¹⁵ My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and My tongue clings to My jaws; ¹⁶ and You appoint Me to the dust of death; for dogs have encircled Me; band of spoilers have hemmed Me in, piercers of My hands and My feet. ¹⁷ I count all My bones; they look, they stare at Me. ¹⁸ They divide My garments among them, and they made fall a lot for My clothing. ¹⁹ But You, O Jehovah, be not far off; O My Strength, hurry to help Me! ²⁰ Deliver My soul from the sword, My only one from the paw of the dog. ²¹ Save Me from the lion's mouth; and from the horns of the wild oxen. You have answered Me.

¹² They who sit in the gate spoke of me; and I was the song of drunkards.

⁵ But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His wounds we ourselves are healed.

¹² Because of this I will divide to Him with the great, and with the strong He shall divide the spoil; because He poured out His soul to death; and He was counted with transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for transgressors.

²⁶ And after sixty two weeks, Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself. And the people of a coming prince shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end shall be with the flood, and ruins are determined, and war shall be until the end.

¹ The Book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the son of David, the son of Abraham:

⁶⁵ Then the high priest tore his garments, saying, He blasphemed! Why do we have any more need of witnesses? Behold, now you have heard his blasphemy. ⁶⁶ What does it seem to you? And answering, they said, He is liable to death.

⁴⁹ But a certain one of them, Caiaphas being high priest of that year, said to them, You know nothing, ⁵⁰ nor consider that it is profitable for us that one man die for the people, and not all the nation to perish. ⁵¹ But he did not say this from himself, but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus was about to die on behalf of the nation, ⁵² and not only on behalf of the nation, but that He also might gather into one the children of God who had been scattered.

³³ In His humiliation His judgment was taken away; and who will recount His generation? For His life is taken away from the earth." Isa. 53:7, 8

⁴ who was marked out Son of God in power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by resurrection of the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord;

¹ Behold My Servant; I will uphold Him; My Elect in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit on Him; He shall bring forth justice to the nations. ² He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. ³ A bruised reed He shall not break, and a smoking wick He shall not quench; He shall bring forth justice to truth.

⁵⁷ And evening having come, a rich man from Arimathea (Joseph by name) who also himself was discipled to Jesus, ⁵⁸ coming up to Pilate, this one asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be given. ⁵⁹ And taking the body, Joseph wrapped it in clean linen, ⁶⁰ and laid it in his new tomb, which he had cut out in the rock. And rolling a great stone to the door of the tomb, he departed.

⁴³ Joseph of Arimathea came, an honorable councillor, who himself was also waiting for the kingdom of God. And taking courage, he went in to Pilate and begged the body of Jesus. ⁴⁴ And Pilate marveled if He had already died. And calling the centurion near, he asked him if He died already. ⁴⁵ And knowing from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph. ⁴⁶ And having bought a linen cloth, and having taken Him down, he wrapped Him in the linen, and laid Him in a tomb which was cut out of rock. And he rolled a stone against the mouth of the tomb.

⁵⁰ And, behold, a man named Joseph, being a councillor, a good and righteous man. ⁵¹ This one was not assenting to their counsel and deed ( he was from Arimathea, a city of the Jews), and who himself was eagerly expecting the kingdom of God, ⁵² coming near to Pilate, this one asked for the body of Jesus. ⁵³ And taking it down, he wrapped it in linen, and placed it in a quarried tomb, where no one was ever yet laid.

³⁸ And after these things, Joseph from Arimathea, being a disciple of Jesus, but concealed because of fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he might take the body of Jesus. And Pilate gave permission. Then he came and took the body of Jesus. ³⁹ And Nicodemus also came, the one coming at first to Jesus by night, bearing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred Roman pounds. ⁴⁰ Then they took the body of Jesus and bound it in linens, with the spices, as is usual with the Jews in burying. ⁴¹ And there was a garden in the place where He was crucified, and a new tomb in the garden, in which no one yet ever had been placed. ⁴² There, then, because of the Preparation of the Jews, because the tomb was near, they put Jesus.

⁴ and that He was buried, and that He was raised the third day, according to the Scriptures,

²⁶ For such a High Priest was fitting for us: holy, harmless, undefiled, and separated from sinners, and having become higher than the heavens;

²² "who did not sin, nor was guile found in His mouth;" Isa. 53:9

⁵ And you know that He was revealed that He might take away our sins, and sin is not in Him.

⁹ So my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh shall also rest in hope; ¹⁰ For You will not leave My soul in Sheol; You will not give Your Holy One to see corruption. ¹¹ You will make Me know the way of life. In Your presence is fullness of joys; at Your right hand are pleasures forever.

⁴ He asked life from You: You gave to him length of days forever and ever.

³⁰ A seed shall serve Him; it shall be spoken of the Lord to the coming generation;

¹⁶ Your sons shall be in the place of your fathers; You will make them for rulers in all the earth. ¹⁷ I will make remembered Your name in every generation and generation; on this account people shall thank You forever and ever.

⁷ In His days the righteous shall flourish, and plenty of peace, till the moon is not.

¹⁷ His name shall be forever; His name shall continue before the sun; and they shall bless themselves by Him; all nations shall call Him blessed.

¹⁰ Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace kissed each other . ¹¹ Truth shall sprout out of the earth, and righteousness looks down from Heaven. ¹² Yea, Jehovah shall give good, and our land shall give its produce.

²⁹ And I have established his Seed forever, and His throne as the days of the heavens.

³⁶ His seed shall be forever, and his throne as the sun before Me.

³ Your people shall be willing in the day of Your power; in holy adornment from the womb of the dawn, to You is the dew of Your youth.

¹¹ Jehovah takes pleasure in those who fear Him, those who hope in His mercy.

⁴ For Jehovah takes pleasure in His people; He beautifies the meek with salvation.

⁷ There is no end to the increase of His government and of peace on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it, and to sustain it with justice and with righteousness, from now and forever. The zeal of Jehovah of Hosts will do this.

¹ Behold My Servant; I will uphold Him; My Elect in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit on Him; He shall bring forth justice to the nations.

¹⁰ declaring the end from the beginning, and from the past those things which were not done, saying, My purpose shall rise; and, I will do all My desire;

³ He is despised and abandoned of men, a Man of pains, and acquainted with sickness. And as it were hiding our faces from Him, He being despised, and we did not value Him. ⁴ Surely He has borne our sicknesses, and He carried our pain; yet we esteemed Him plagued, smitten by God, and afflicted.

¹¹ so shall My word be, which goes out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in what I sent it to do! ¹² For you shall go out with joy and be led out with peace. The mountains and the hills shall break out into song before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap the palm. ¹³ Instead of the thornbush, the fir tree shall come up; instead of the brier, the myrtle shall come up; and it shall be for a name to Jehovah, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

³ You also shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of Jehovah, and a royal diadem in the palm of your God. ⁴ You no longer shall be called Forsaken; nor shall your land any longer be called Desolate. But you shall be called, My Delight is in Her; and your land, Married. For Jehovah delights in you, and your land is married. ⁵ For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you. And as a bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so your God shall rejoice over you.

⁴¹ And I will rejoice over them, to do good to them; and I will truly plant them in this land with all My heart and with all My soul.

¹¹ Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord Jehovah, I do not have pleasure in the death of the wicked, except in the wicked turning from his way, and so to live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! For why will you die, O house of Israel?

²⁵ And they shall dwell on the land that I have given to my servant, to Jacob, there where your fathers dwelt in it. And they shall dwell on it, they and their sons, and the sons of their sons, forever. And My Servant David shall be a ruler to them forever.

¹³ I was looking in the night visions. And behold! One like the Son of Man came with the clouds of the heavens. And He came to the Ancient of Days. And they brought Him near before Him. ¹⁴ And dominion was given to Him, and glory, and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

¹⁸ Who is a God like You, forgiving iniquity and passing by the transgression of the remnant of His possession? He does not make strong His anger forever, for He delights in grace.

¹⁷ Jehovah your God is mighty in your midst; He will save. He will rejoice over you with joy; He is silent in His love. He rejoices over you with a joyful shout.

¹⁷ And behold! A voice out of the heaven saying, This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I have found delight. Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1

⁵ While he was yet speaking, behold, a radiant cloud overshadowed them. And, behold, a voice out of the cloud saying, This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I delight; hear Him. Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1; Deut. 18:15

³³ And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of His kingdom there will be no end.

²³ And bring the fattened calf, slaughter and let us eat and be merry; ²⁴ for this son of mine was dead, and lived again, and was lost, and was found. And they began to be merry.

³⁷ All that the Father gives to Me shall come to Me, and the one coming to Me I will in no way cast out. ³⁸ For I have come down out of Heaven, not that I should do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me. ³⁹ And this is the will of the Father sending Me, that of all that He has given Me, I shall not lose any of it, but shall raise it up in the last day. ⁴⁰ And this is the will of the One sending Me, that everyone seeing the Son and believing into Him should have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

²⁴ Truly, truly, I say to you, unless the grain of wheat that falls into the earth dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.

²⁴ But God raised Him up, loosing the throes of death, because it was not possible for Him to be held by it. ²⁵ For David said as to Him, "I always foresaw the Lord before Me, because He is at My right hand, that I not be moved. ²⁶ For this reason My heart rejoiced, and My tongue was glad; and My flesh also will dwell on hope, ²⁷ because You will not leave My soul in Hades, nor will You give Your Holy One to see corruption. ²⁸ You revealed to Me paths of life; You will fill Me with joy with Your face." LXX-Psa. 15:8-11; MT-Psa. 16:8-11

⁹ knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dies no more; death no longer lords it over Him.

⁸ And those being in the flesh are not able to please God.

³² Truly He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not freely give us all things with Him?

⁵ predestinating us to adoption through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

⁹ making known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself,

¹¹ For which we also continually pray concerning you, that our God would count you worthy of the calling, and would fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness, and work of faith in power,

¹³ And again, "I will be trusting on Him." Isa. 8:17 And again, "Behold, I and the children whom God gave to Me." Isa. 8:18

²⁷ who has no need, as do the high priests, to offer sacrifices day by day, first for His own sins, then for those of the people. For He did this once for all, offering up Himself.

¹⁴ by how much more the blood of Christ (who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God), will purify your conscience from dead works for the serving of the living God!

²⁵ not that often He should offer Himself even as the high priest enters into the Holy of Holies year by year with blood of others; ²⁶ since He must often have suffered from the foundation of the world. But now once for all, at the completion of the ages, He has been manifested for putting away of sin through the sacrifice of Himself.

⁶ You did not delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices concerning sins." ⁷ "Then I said, Lo, I come, in the heading of the Book, it was written concerning Me, to do Your will, O God." LXX-Psa. 39:7 -9; MT-Psa. 40:6 -8 ⁸ Above, saying, "You did not desire nor were pleased with sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and sacrifices concerning sins," (which are offered according to the Law), ⁹ then He said, "Lo, I come to do Your will, O God." He takes away the first in order that He may set up the second; ¹⁰ by which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. ¹¹ And indeed every priest stands day by day ministering, and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. ¹² But He, offering but one sacrifice for sins, "sat down" in perpetuity " at the right hand " of God,

¹⁰ We have an altar of which those serving the tabernacle have no authority to eat. ¹¹ For of the animals whose "blood is brought" by the high priest "into the Holy of Holies" concerning sins, of these the bodies "are burned outside the camp." Lev. 16:27 ¹² Indeed, because of this, in order that He might sanctify the people by His own blood, Jesus suffered outside the gate.

⁹ By this the love of God was revealed in us, because His Son, the Only begotten, God has sent into the world that we might live through Him. ¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be a propitiation relating to our sins.

¹⁸ and the Living One; and I became dead; and, behold, I am living forever and ever. Amen. And I have the keys to Hades, and of death.

²⁵ In Jehovah all of the seed of Israel shall be justified, and shall glory.

³ and said to Me, You are My servant, Israel, You in whom I shall be glorified.

⁸ He was taken from prison and from justice; and who shall consider His generation? For He was cut off out of the land of the living; from the transgression of My people, the stroke was to Him.

⁴⁴ And being in an agony, He prayed more intently. And His sweat became as drops of blood falling down onto the earth.

¹⁴ I am the Good Shepherd, and I know those that are Mine, and I am known by the ones that are Mine. ¹⁵ Even as the Father knows Me, I also know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. ¹⁶ And I have other sheep which are not of this fold. I must also lead those, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock, one Shepherd. ¹⁷ For this reason My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life, that I may take it again. ¹⁸ No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down from Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it again. I received this commandment from My Father.

²⁷ And My soul is troubled, and what may I say? Father, save Me out of this hour? But on this account I came to this hour. ²⁸ Father, glorify Your name. Then a voice came out of the heaven: I both glorified it, and I will glorify it again. ²⁹ Then standing and hearing, the crowd said that thunder occurred. Others said, An angel has spoken to Him. ³⁰ Jesus answered and said, This voice has not occurred because of Me, but because of you. ³¹ Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world shall be cast out. ³² And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all to Myself.

²¹ The woman has grief when she bears, because her hour came, but when she brings forth the child, she no longer remembers the distress, because of the joy that a man was born into the world.

³ And this is everlasting life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.

²² even the righteousness of God through faith of Jesus Christ toward all and upon all those believing; for there is no difference, ²³ for all sinned and fall short of the glory of God, ²⁴ being justified freely by His grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus,

²⁴ but also on account of us, to whom it is about to be counted, to the ones believing on Him who has raised our Lord Jesus from the dead,

⁹ Much more then, being justified now by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

¹⁸ So then, as through one offense it was toward all men to condemnation, so also by one accomplished righteousness toward all men to justification of life. ¹⁹ For as through the one man's disobedience the many were constituted sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many shall be constituted righteous.

¹¹ And some were these things, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

⁶ Because it is God who said, "Out of darkness Light shall shine," who shone in our hearts to give the brightness of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Isa. 42:6, 7, 16

¹⁹ My children, for whom I again travail until Christ should be formed to you,

⁸ But, nay, rather I also count all things to be loss because of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them to be trash, that I might gain Christ ⁹ and be found in Him; not having my own righteousness of Law, but through the faith of Christ, having the righteousness of God on faith, ¹⁰ to know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, having been conformed to His death,

⁶ whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ, our Savior; ⁷ that being justified by His grace, we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

² looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith, Jesus, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, "and sat down at the right" of the throne of God. Psa. 110:1

² Grace to you, and peace be multiplied by a full knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. ³ As His divine power has given to us all things pertaining to life and godliness through the full knowledge of the One calling us through glory and virtue,

¹⁸ But grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

¹ My little children, I write these things to you so that you do not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

¹ The elder to the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth; and not I only, but also all those who have known the truth,

³ Grace, mercy, peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

⁹ And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy are You to receive the scroll, and to open its seals, because You were slain, and by Your blood purchased us to God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, ¹⁰ and made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign over the earth.

⁹ After these things I saw, and behold, a great crowd which no one was able to number them, out of every nation, even tribes and peoples and tongues standing in front of the throne, and before the Lamb, having been clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands. ¹⁰ And they cry with a great voice, saying, Salvation to our God sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb. ¹¹ And all the angels and of the elders and of the four living creatures stood around the throne. And they fell before the throne on their faces, and worshiped God, ¹² saying, Amen. Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength to our God forever and ever. Amen. ¹³ And one of the elders answered, saying to me, These, the ones having been clothed in the white robes, who are they, and from where did they come? ¹⁴ And I said to him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are those coming out of the great tribulation; and they washed their robes and whitened them in the blood of the Lamb. ¹⁵ Because of this they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His sanctuary. And He sitting on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them. ¹⁶ And they will not hunger still, nor will they thirst still, nor at all shall fall on them the sun, nor any kind of heat. ¹⁷ Because the Lamb in the midst of the throne will shepherd them, and will lead them on the living fountains of waters; and God will wipe off every tear from their eyes.

⁸ Ask of Me, and I will give the nations as Your inheritance; and the uttermost parts of the earth as Your possession.

¹⁴ I am poured out like waters, and all My bones are spread apart; My heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of My bowels.

²⁴ Shall the plunder be taken from the warrior, or the righteous captive escape? ²⁵ But so says Jehovah, Even the captives of the warrior shall be taken, and the plunder of the terrifying ones shall be delivered. For I will strive with him who contends with you; and I will save your sons.

¹³ Behold, My Servant shall rule wisely; He shall be exalted and lifted up and be very high.

¹⁵ so He sprinkles from many nations. At Him kings shall shut their mouths; for they will see that which was not told to them; yea, what they had not heard, they will understand.

⁶ All we like sheep have gone astray; we have each one turned to his own way; and Jehovah made meet in Him the iniquity of all of us.

¹⁰ But Jehovah pleased to crush Him, to make Him sick, so that If He should put His soul as a guilt offering, He shall see His seed; He shall prolong His days; and the will of Jehovah shall prosper in His hand. ¹¹ He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul; He shall be fully satisfied. By His knowledge shall My righteous Servant justify for many, and He shall bear their iniquities.

⁴⁵ Because you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold in pieces. The great God has made known to the king what shall occur after this. And the dream is certain, and the meaning of it is trustworthy.

²⁸ But if I cast out the demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come on you. ²⁹ Or how is anyone able to enter the house of the strong one and plunder his goods, if he does not first tie up the strong one; and then he will plunder his house?

³⁸ Then He said to them, My soul is deeply grieved, even unto death. Stay here and watch with Me. ³⁹ And going forward a little, He fell on His face, praying, and saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will .

⁴² Again, going away a second time, He prayed, saying, My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me without My drinking it, let Your will be done.

²⁷ And they crucified two robbers with Him, one off the right, and one off the left of Him.

³⁷ For I say to you that this that has been written must yet be fulfilled in Me: "And He was numbered with the lawless." Isa. 53:12 For the things concerning Me also have an end.

²⁵ And he released to them the one thrown into prison due to revolt and murder, whom they asked. But he delivered Jesus to their will.

³² And two others, two criminals, were led with Him to be put to death. ³³ And when they came on the place being called Skull, they crucified Him and the criminals there, one on the right, and one on the left. ³⁴ And Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. And dividing His garments, they cast a lot. Psa. 22:18

¹⁸ to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, in order that they may receive remission of sins, and an inheritance among those being sanctified by faith in Me.

³⁴ Who is he condemning? It is Christ who has died, but rather also is raised, who also is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.

⁸ and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, having become obedient until death, even the death of a cross. ⁹ Because of this also God highly exalted Him and gave Him a name above every name, ¹⁰ that at the name of Jesus "every knee should bow," of heavenly ones, and earthly ones, and ones under the earth, ¹¹ and "every tongue should confess" that Jesus Christ is "Lord," to the glory of God the Father. Isa. 45:23

¹⁷ But if indeed I am poured out on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice; yea, I rejoice with you all.

¹³ who delivered us out of the authority of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, ¹⁴ in whom we have redemption through His blood, the remission of sins;

¹⁵ having stripped the rulers and the authorities, He made a show of them in public, triumphing over them in it.

⁵ For God is one, also there is one Mediator of God and of men, the Man Christ Jesus, ⁶ the One having given Himself a ransom on behalf of all, the testimony to be given in its own times,

¹⁴ who gave Himself on our behalf, "that He might redeem us from all iniquity" "and purify" "a people" "for His own possession," zealous of good works. Psa. 130:8; Eze. 37:23; Deut. 14:2

¹⁴ Since, then, the children have partaken of flesh and blood, in like manner He Himself also shared the same things, that through death He might cause to cease the one having the power of death, (that is, the Devil); ¹⁵ and might set these free, as many as by fear of death were subject to slavery through all the time to live.

²⁵ From this also He is able to save to perfection those who come to God through Him, ever living to intercede on their behalf.

²⁴ For Christ did not enter into the Holy of Holies made by hands, types of the true things, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf,

²⁶ since He must often have suffered from the foundation of the world. But now once for all, at the completion of the ages, He has been manifested for putting away of sin through the sacrifice of Himself.

¹² Little children, I write to you because you have been forgiven your sins through His name.
