¹⁹ For the people shall live in Zion, at Jerusalem; you shall surely cry no more. He surely will be gracious to you at the sound of your cry. When He hears, He will answer you.

¹⁵ And call on Me in the day of distress; and I will save you; and you shall glorify Me.

²⁴ So the Lord Jehovah of Hosts says this: Oh My people who dwell in Zion, do not fear Assyria. He shall strike you with the rod, and he shall lift up his staff against you in the way of Egypt.

³ And you shall draw waters out of the wells of salvation with joy. ⁴ And in that day you shall say, Praise Jehovah! Call on His name; declare His doings among the peoples; make mention that His name is exalted. ⁵ Sing to Jehovah, for He has done majestically; this is known in all the earth. ⁶ Cry and shout, O dweller of Zion! For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst.

⁸ He will swallow up death in victory! And the Lord Jehovah will wipe away tears from all faces. And He shall reprove the reproach of His people from all the earth; for Jehovah has spoken

¹⁰ And the ransomed of Jehovah shall return and enter Zion, with singing and everlasting joy on their head; gladness and joy shall reach them; and sorrow and sighing shall flee.

¹ Comfort, O comfort My people, says your God. ² Speak lovingly to the heart of Jerusalem; yea, cry to her that her warfare is done, that her iniquity is pardoned; for she has taken from the hand of Jehovah double for all her sins.

¹³ I bring near My righteousness; it shall not be far off, and My salvation shall not wait; I will place salvation in Zion, My glory for Israel.

⁶ For Jehovah has called you as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of young men when she is rejected, says your God. ⁷ For a little moment I have left you, but I will gather you with great pityings. ⁸ In a flood of wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; but I will have pity on you with everlasting kindness, says Jehovah your Redeemer. ⁹ For this is the waters of Noah to Me; for as I swore to refrain from passing over the waters of Noah over the earth again, so I have sworn from being and with you and rebuking you. ¹⁰ For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My mercy shall not depart from you; nor shall the covenant of My peace be removed, says Jehovah who has pity on you. ¹¹ Afflicted one, storm tossed and not comforted! Behold, I stretch out your stones among antimony, and lay your foundations with sapphires. ¹² And I will make your battlements of ruby, and your gates carbuncle stones, and all your borders pleasing stones; ¹³ and all your sons will be taught of Jehovah; and the peace of your sons will be great. ¹⁴ You shall be established in righteousness; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you.

⁹ Then you shall call, and Jehovah will answer; you shall cry, and He shall say, Here I am . If you put the yoke away from among you, the sending out of the finger, and the speaking of vanity;

²⁰ Your sun shall not set any more; and your moon shall not withdraw; for Jehovah will become your everlasting light; and the days of your mourning shall end.

¹ The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is on Me, because Jehovah has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the meek. He has sent Me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to captives, and complete opening to the bound ones; ² to proclaim the acceptable year of Jehovah, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; ³ to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of the spirit of infirmity, so that one calls them trees of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, in order to beautify Himself.

⁹ And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah one to inherit My mountains. And My chosen one shall inherit, and My servants shall live there.

¹⁸ However, be glad and rejoice forever in what I create. For, behold, I create in Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

²⁴ And it will be, before they call, I will answer. While they are speaking, then I will hear.

¹¹ For I know the purposes which I am planning for you, says Jehovah; purposes of peace, and not for evil; to give you a future and a hope. ¹² Then you shall call on Me, and you shall go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. ¹³ And you shall seek and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

¹² For so says Jehovah, Your break cannot be cured; your wound is grievous.

⁶ For there shall be a day when the watchmen on Ephraim's hills shall call out, Arise and let us go up to Zion, to Jehovah our God.

⁹ They shall come with weeping, and I will lead them with prayers. I will cause them to walk by rivers of waters, in a right way; they will not stumble in it. For I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is My first-born.

¹² And they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and be radiant over the goodness of Jehovah, for grain, and for wine, and for oil, and for the sons of the flock and the herd. And their life shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not pine away any more at all.

³ Call to Me, and I will answer you; and I will tell you great and inscrutable things; you do not know them.

⁴ In these days, and at that time, the sons of Israel shall come, declares Jehovah, they and the sons of Judah together, going and weeping; they shall go and seek Jehovah their God. ⁵ They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces pointing there, saying, Come and let us join ourselves to Jehovah in an everlasting covenant never to be forgotten.

²⁸ The voice of those who flee and escape out of the land of Babylon to declare in Zion the vengeance of Jehovah our God, the vengeance of His temple.

¹⁰ Jehovah has brought forth our righteousness; come and let us declare in Zion the work of Jehovah our God.

⁴⁰ For in My holy mountain in the mountain height of Israel, declares the Lord Jehovah, all the house of Israel shall serve Me there, all of them in the land. There I will accept them, and there I will seek your have offerings and the firstfruits of your offerings, with all your holy things.

³⁷ So says the Lord Jehovah: Yet for this I will be sought by the house of Israel, to work for them. I will increase them with men like a flock.

²⁵ And they shall dwell on the land that I have given to my servant, to Jacob, there where your fathers dwelt in it. And they shall dwell on it, they and their sons, and the sons of their sons, forever. And My Servant David shall be a ruler to them forever. ²⁶ And I will cut a covenant of peace with them, an everlasting covenant it shall be with them, And I will place them and multiply them, and I will put My sanctuary in their midst forever. ²⁷ And My tabernacle shall be with them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. ²⁸ And when My sanctuary shall be in their midst forever, the nations shall know that I, Jehovah, sanctify Israel.

⁹ Now why do you cry aloud, an outcry? Is there not a king among you? Has your adviser perished? For pangs have seized you like one giving birth.

¹⁴ Shout for joy, daughter of Zion; shout, Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all the heart, daughter of Jerusalem! ¹⁵ Jehovah has turned off your judgments; He has turned away your enemy. Jehovah, the King of Israel, is in your midst; you shall not fear evil any more. ¹⁶ In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear not! Zion, do not let your hands droop. ¹⁷ Jehovah your God is mighty in your midst; He will save. He will rejoice over you with joy; He is silent in His love. He rejoices over you with a joyful shout. ¹⁸ I will gather the afflicted ones from the appointed place; they were from you, a lifting up of reproach over her. ¹⁹ Behold, at that time I will deal with all those who afflict you. And I will save her who is lame, and gather her who was thrust out. And I will give them for a praise and for a name in all the land of their shame. ²⁰ In that time I will bring you, even in the time I gather you. For I will give you for a name and for a praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, says Jehovah.

¹⁶ So Jehovah says this: I have returned to Jerusalem with compassions; My house shall be built in it, says Jehovah of hosts, and a line shall be stretched over Jerusalem. ¹⁷ Cry out again, saying, So says Jehovah of hosts: My cities shall again overflow with goodness, and Jehovah shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.

⁴ and said to him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited, as towns without walls, for the multitude of men and livestock in her midst. ⁵ And I will be to her a wall of fire all around, and I will be for glory in her midst, declares Jehovah. ⁶ Ho! Ho! Flee then from the land of the north, says Jehovah. For I have scattered you as the four winds of the heavens, declares Jehovah. ⁷ Ho, O Zion! Escape, you who live with the daughter of Babylon.

³ So says Jehovah: I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. And Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth, and the mountain of Jehovah of hosts, the holy mountain. ⁴ So says Jehovah of hosts: There shall yet be old men and old women sitting in the streets of Jerusalem; and each man with his staff in his hand because of their many days. ⁵ And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in its streets. ⁶ So says Jehovah of hosts: If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, will it also be marvelous in My eyes? says Jehovah of hosts. ⁷ So says Jehovah of hosts: Behold, I will save My people from the rising sun and from the land of the setting sun. ⁸ And I will bring them, and they shall live in the midst of Jerusalem. And they shall be for a people to Me, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

⁷ Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. ⁸ For each one that asks receives, and the one that seeks finds; and to the one knocking, it will be opened. ⁹ Or what man of you is there, if his son should ask a loaf of him, will he give him a stone? ¹⁰ And if he should ask a fish, will he give him a snake? ¹¹ Therefore, if you, being evil. know to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in Heaven give good things to those that ask Him?

²¹ Blessed are those hungering now, for you will be filled. Blessed are those weeping now, for you will laugh.

²⁶ and so all Israel will be saved, even as it has been written, "The Deliverer will come out of Zion, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.

²⁰ Now to Him being able to do exceedingly above all that we ask or think, according to the power working in us,

¹⁴ And this is the confidence we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. ¹⁵ And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

⁴ And I wept much, because no one worthy was found to open and to read the scroll, nor to see it.

¹⁷ Because the Lamb in the midst of the throne will shepherd them, and will lead them on the living fountains of waters; and God will wipe off every tear from their eyes.
