¹ Truly, then, the first tabernacle also had ordinances of service, and the earthly holy place. ² For the first tabernacle was prepared, in which was both the lampstand and the table, and the setting out of the loaves, which is called holy. ³ But behind the second veil is a tabernacle, that called Holy of Holies, ⁴ having a golden altar of incense, and the ark of the covenant covered around on all sides with gold, in which was the golden pot having the manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant; ⁵ and above it the cherubs of glory overshadowing the mercy-seat (about which now is not time to speak piece by piece). ⁶ And these having been prepared thus, the priests go into the first tabernacle through all, completing the services. ⁷ But into the second the high priest goes alone once in the year, not without blood, which he offers for himself and the ignorances of the people; ⁸ the Holy Spirit signifying by this that the way of the Holies has not yet been made manifest, the first tabernacle still having standing; ⁹ which was a parable for the present time, according to which both gifts and sacrifices are offered, but as regards conscience, not being able to perfect the one serving, ¹⁰ but only on foods and drinks, and various washings, and fleshly ordinances, until the time of setting things right has been imposed. ¹¹ But Christ having appeared as a High Priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation, ¹² nor through the blood of goats and of calves, but through His own blood, He entered once for all into the Holy of Holies, having procured everlasting redemption. ¹³ For if the blood of bulls and goats, and ashes of a heifer sprinkling those having been defiled, sanctifies to the purity of the flesh, ¹⁴ by how much more the blood of Christ (who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God), will purify your conscience from dead works for the serving of the living God! ¹⁵ And because of this He is Mediator of a new covenant, so that, death having occurred for redemption of transgressions under the first covenant, those having been called out might receive the promise of the everlasting inheritance. ¹⁶ For where a covenant is, the death of him having covenanted must be offered. ¹⁷ For a covenant is affirmed over those dead, since it never has force when he who has covenanted is living. ¹⁸ From which neither the first covenant was dedicated without blood. ¹⁹ For when every command had been spoken according to Law by Moses to all the people, he took the blood of the calves and goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and he sprinkled both the scroll and all the people, ²⁰ saying, "This is the blood of the covenant which God enjoined to you." Ex. 24:8 ²¹ And he likewise sprinkled both the tabernacle and all the service vessels with the blood. ²² And almost all things are cleansed by blood according to the Law; and apart from shedding of blood no remission occurs. ²³ Then it was needful for the figures of the things in the heavens to be cleansed with these; but the heavenly things themselves by better sacrifices than these. ²⁴ For Christ did not enter into the Holy of Holies made by hands, types of the true things, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf, ²⁵ not that often He should offer Himself even as the high priest enters into the Holy of Holies year by year with blood of others; ²⁶ since He must often have suffered from the foundation of the world. But now once for all, at the completion of the ages, He has been manifested for putting away of sin through the sacrifice of Himself. ²⁷ And as it is reserved to men once to die, and after this Judgment; ²⁸ so being once offered "to bear the sins of many," Christ shall appear a second time without sin to those expecting Him for salvation. Isa. 53:12

⁸ And let them make a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell in their midst.

³ You shall not do according to the doings of the land of Egypt in which you lived; and you shall not do according to the doings of the land of Canaan to which I am bringing you; nor shall you walk in their statutes. ⁴ You shall do My judgments and you shall keep My statutes, to walk in them; I am Jehovah your God,

³⁰ And you shall keep My charge, so as not to do any of the disgusting customs which were committed before you; and you shall not defile yourselves with them; I am Jehovah your God.

⁹ And they shall keep My charge, and shall bear no sin for it, that they may not die for it when they pollute it; I am Jehovah, who is sanctifying them.

¹² they shall leave none of it until morning, nor break a bone of it. According to all the statutes of the Passover, they shall keep it.

¹¹ And if they are ashamed of all that they have done, the form of the house, and its arrangement, and its exits, and its entrances, and all its forms, and all its statutes, and all its forms, and all its laws, make them known to them. And write them in their sight, so that they may observe all its form, and all its statutes, and do them.

⁶ And they were both righteous before God, walking blameless in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord.

⁸ Watch that there not be one robbing you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the elements of the world, and not according to Christ.

² Minister of the Holy of Holies, and of the true tabernacle which the Lord pitched, and not man.

⁷ For if that first was faultless, place would not have been sought for a second.

¹³ In the saying, New, He has made the first old. And the thing having been made old and growing aged is near disappearing.

¹⁰ but only on foods and drinks, and various washings, and fleshly ordinances, until the time of setting things right has been imposed. ¹¹ But Christ having appeared as a High Priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation,

⁸ And let them make a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell in their midst. ⁹ According to all which I am going to reveal to you, the plan of the tabernacle, and the plan of all its vessels, even so you shall do.

²³ And you shall make a table of acacia wood, its length two cubits, and its width a cubit, and its height a cubit and a half. ²⁴ And you shall overlay it with pure gold, and you shall make it a wreath of gold all around. ²⁵ And you shall make a border of a hand's breadth for it all around. And you shall make a wreath of gold all around on its border. ²⁶ And you shall make four rings of gold for it, and you shall put the rings on the four corners which are to its four feet. ²⁷ The rings shall be near the border for housings for the poles to carry the table. ²⁸ And you shall make the poles of acacia wood, and you shall overlay them with gold. And the table shall be carried by them. ²⁹ And you shall make its platters, and its bowls, and its pitchers, and its sacrificial cups with which a drink offering is made. You shall make them of pure gold. ³⁰ And you shall put the Bread of the Presence on the table before Me continually.

²³ And you shall make two boards for the corners of the tabernacle, in the sides. ²⁴ And they shall be double from beneath. And in like manner they shall be complete on the top, to the one ring. So it shall be to both of them; they shall be for the two corners. ²⁵ And there shall be eight boards, and their silver sockets, sixteen sockets, two sockets under the one board, and two sockets under the one board. ²⁶ And you shall make bars of acacia wood, five to the boards of the one side of the tabernacle; ²⁷ and five bars to the boards of the second side of the tabernacle; and five bars to the boards of the side of the tabernacle for the rear, westward. ²⁸ And there shall be a middle bar in the midst of the boards, going through from end to end. ²⁹ And you shall overlay the boards with gold and you shall make their rings gold, housings for the bars. And you shall overlay the bars with gold. ³⁰ And you shall set up the tabernacle according to the decree which you were shown in the mountain.

³³ And you shall hang the veil under the hooks. And you shall bring the ark of the testimony there inside to the veil. And the veil shall divide for you between the sanctuary and the Holy of Holies.

³⁵ And you shall set the table outside the veil, and the lamp across from the table on the side of the tabernacle southward. And you shall put the table on the north side.

¹ And this is the thing which you shall do to them, to sanctify them to minister as priests to Me: take one bullock, the son of the herd, and two perfect rams,

³⁵ And so you shall do to Aaron and to his sons, according to all which I have commanded you; you shall consecrate them seven days.

⁸ And every wise-hearted one among the doers of the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains, twined, bleached linen, and blue, and purple, and crimson; he made them with cherubs, the work of an artisan. ⁹ The length of one curtain was twenty eight by the cubit; and the width was four by the cubit; the one curtain was the same measure for all the curtains. ¹⁰ And he joined five curtains one to another; and he joined five curtains one to another. ¹¹ And he made loops of blue on the edge of the one curtain, from the end to the juncture; so he did at the edge of the last curtain at the second juncture. ¹² He made fifty loops on one curtain; and he made fifty loops on the end of the curtain which was at the second juncture; the loops corresponded, one with another. ¹³ And he made fifty hooks of gold; and he joined the curtains by the hooks, one to another. And the tabernacle became one. ¹⁴ And he made curtains of goats' hair for a tent over the tabernacle; he made them eleven curtains. ¹⁵ The length of the one curtain was thirty by the cubit, and four cubits the width of the one curtain; one measure to the eleven curtains. ¹⁶ And he joined the five curtains separately, and the six curtains separately. ¹⁷ And he made fifty loops on the edge of the last curtain at the juncture; and he made fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that joined the second. ¹⁸ And he made fifty bronze hooks to join the tent, to unite it in one. ¹⁹ And he made a cover for the tent of rams' skins dyed red; and a cover of dugong skins from above. ²⁰ And he made the boards for the tabernacle, standing planks of acacia wood. ²¹ The length of the board was ten cubits, and a cubit and a half was the width of the one board. ²² The one board was connected by two pins, one to another; so he did to all the boards of the tabernacle. ²³ And he made the boards for the tabernacle: twenty boards for the south side southward. ²⁴ And he made forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under the one board for its two pins. ²⁵ And for the second side of the tabernacle, to the north side, he made twenty boards, ²⁶ and their forty silver sockets; two sockets under the one board, and two sockets under the other board. ²⁷ And he made six boards for the sides of the tabernacle westward. ²⁸ And he made two boards for the corners of the tabernacle, in the sides. ²⁹ And they were double from below, and in like manner they were complete to its top, to the first ring. So he did to both of them, for the two corners. ³⁰ And there were eight boards, and their silver sockets, sixteen sockets; two sockets and two sockets under the one board. ³¹ And he made bars of acacia wood; five to the boards of the second side of the tabernacle; ³² and five bars to the boards of the sides of the tabernacle westward. ³³ And he made the middle bar to go through the middle of the boards, from end to end. ³⁴ And he overlaid the boards with gold. And he made the rings gold, housing for the poles; and he overlaid the bars with gold. ³⁵ And he made a veil of blue, and purple, and crimson, and twined, bleached linen . He made it the work of an artisan, with cherubs ³⁶ And he made four pillars of acacia for it. And he overlaid them with gold, their hooks gold; and he cast four sockets of silver for them. ³⁷ And he made a screen for the door of the tabernacle, blue, and purple, and crimson, and twined, bleached linen, the work of an embroiderer; ³⁸ and its five pillars, and their hooks; and the overlaid their tops and their bands with gold; and their five sockets bronze.

¹⁰ And he made the table of planks of acacia; two cubits long, and a cubit wide, and a cubit and a half high. ¹¹ And he overlaid it with pure gold; and he made for it a wreath of gold all around. ¹² And he made for it a border of a hand's breadth all around. And he made a wreath of gold for its border all around. ¹³ And he cast for it four rings of gold; and he put the rings on the four corners, which were to its four feet. ¹⁴ The rings were near the border, the housings for the poles, to carry the table. ¹⁵ And he made the poles of acacia wood; and he overlaid them with gold, to lift up the table. ¹⁶ And he made the vessels which were on the table, its platters and its bowls, and its sacrificial cups, and its pitchers by which a drink offering is made, with pure gold. ¹⁷ And he made the lampstand of pure gold; he made the lampstand of beaten work, its side, and its branch, its calyxes, its knobs and its blossoms were from it. ¹⁸ And six branches went out from its sides; three branches of the lampstand from one side, and three branches of the lampstand from its second side. ¹⁹ Three almond-like bowls were on the one branch, with knob and blossom; and three almond-like bowls on the one branch, with knob and blossom; so for the six branches, those going out from the lampstand. ²⁰ And on the lampstand were four almond-like bowls, its knobs and its blossoms. ²¹ And a knob was under two branches of it, to the six branches, those going out from it. ²² The knobs and the branches of it were one beaten work of pure gold. ²³ And he made its seven lamps and its snuffers and its pans of pure gold. ²⁴ He made it and all its vessels from a talent of pure gold.

³² And all the work of the tabernacle of the congregation was finished, And the sons of Israel did according to all which Jehovah commanded Moses; so they did. ³³ And they brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its vessels, its hooks, its boards, it bars, and its pillars, and its sockets, ³⁴ and the cover of rams' skins dyed red, and the cover of dugong skins, and the veil of the covering,

³⁶ the table and all its vessels, and the Bread of the Presence; ³⁷ the pure lampstand, its lamps the lamps of arrangement and all its vessels, and the oil of the light, ³⁸ and the altar of gold, and the oil of anointing, and the incense of fragrant spices, and the screen of the door of the tabernacle,

² On the first day of the month, on the first of the month, you shall raise up the tent of the tabernacle of the congregation.

⁴ And you shall bring in the table and set in order its arrangement. And you shall bring in the lampstand and set up its lamps.

¹⁸ And Moses raised up the tabernacle, and he gave its sockets, and he set up its boards, and he gave its bars, and he raised up its pillars. ¹⁹ And he spread out the tent over the tabernacle. And he put the cover of the tent over it from above, as Jehovah commanded Moses. ²⁰ And he took and gave the testimony into the ark. And he put the poles on the ark. And he gave the mercyseat on the ark from above.

²² And he gave the table into the tabernacle of the congregation, on the side of the tabernacle, northward outside the veil. ²³ And he set the bread in order on it before the face of Jehovah, as Jehovah commanded Moses. ²⁴ And he put the lampstand in the tabernacle of the congregation, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.

⁵ And you shall take flour, and shall bake twelve cakes with it; two tenths shall be in the one cake. ⁶ And you shall set them in two rows, six on a row on the pure table before Jehovah. ⁷ And you shall put pure frankincense on the row, and it shall be the bread of a memorial, a fire offering to Jehovah. ⁸ On each sabbath day he shall arrange it before Jehovah continually, from the sons of Israel, a never ending covenant.

³¹ And you shall make a veil of blue and purple and crimson, and twined linen . One shall make it by the work of the skilled workman, with cherubs. ³² And you shall put it on four pillars of acacia wood overlaid with gold, their hooks gold, on four sockets of silver. ³³ And you shall hang the veil under the hooks. And you shall bring the ark of the testimony there inside to the veil. And the veil shall divide for you between the sanctuary and the Holy of Holies.

³ And you shall put there the ark of testimony. And you shall cover the ark with the veil.

²¹ And he caused the ark to go in into the tabernacle. And he placed the veil of the covering, and he covered over the ark of testimony, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

⁶ And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of Jehovah to its place, to the holy place of the house, into the Holy of Holies, to the place of the wings of the cherubs;

¹⁴ And he made the veil of violet, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and caused to go on it cherubs.

⁷ And He will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering which covers all people, and the veil that is woven over all nations.

⁵¹ And, behold, the veil of the Holy Place was torn into two from top to bottom. And the earth quaked, and the rocks were sheared!

¹⁹ which we have as an anchor of the soul, both certain and sure, and entering into the inner side of the veil, Lev. 16:12

⁸ the Holy Spirit signifying by this that the way of the Holies has not yet been made manifest, the first tabernacle still having standing;

¹⁹ Then, brothers, having confidence for the entering of the Holy of Holies by the blood of Jesus, ²⁰ which He consecrated for us, a new and living way through the veil; that is, His flesh;

³² And Moses said, This is the thing which Jehovah has commanded, Fill an omer from it, to keep for your generations, so that they may see the bread which I caused you to eat in the wilderness, as I brought you out from the land of Egypt. ³³ And Moses said to Aaron, Take a pitcher and put manna there. the fullness of an omer, and lay it up before Jehovah, to keep for your generations. ³⁴ Even as Jehovah commanded Moses, Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to keep it .

¹⁰ And they shall make an ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, and a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high. ¹¹ And you shall overlay it with pure gold; you shall overlay it inside and outside. And you shall make a wreath of gold all around on it. ¹² And you shall cast four rings of gold for it, and shall put it on its four feet; two rings on the one side, and two rings on the second side. ¹³ And you shall make poles of acacia wood, and you shall overlay them with gold. ¹⁴ And you shall put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, to carry the ark by them. ¹⁵ The poles shall be in the rings of the ark; they shall not depart from it. ¹⁶ And you shall put the testimony into the ark, which I shall give to you. ¹⁷ And you shall make a mercyseat of pure gold, its length two and a half cubits, and its width a cubit and a half. ¹⁸ And you shall make two cherubs of gold; you shall make them of beaten work from the two ends of the mercyseat. ¹⁹ And make one cherub from the end here, and one cherub from the end there. You shall make the cherubs from the mercyseat, on its two ends. ²⁰ And the cherubs shall be spreading out wings above, covering the mercyseat with their wings, and their faces each toward its brother; the faces of the cherubs shall be toward the mercyseat. ²¹ And you shall put the mercyseat on the ark from above. And you shall put the testimony into the ark, which I shall give to you. ²² And I will meet you there, and will speak with you, above the mercyseat, from between the two cherubs which are on the ark of testimony, all which I shall command you concerning the sons of Israel.

¹ And you shall make an altar, a place for burning incense; you shall make it of acacia wood. ² It shall be a cubit in length and a cubit in width; it shall be square. And its height shall be two cubits, its horns from itself. ³ And you shall overlay it with pure gold, its top, and its walls all around, and its horns. And you shall make a wreath of gold for it all around. ⁴ And you shall make two rings of gold for it under its wreath; you shall make its two corners on its two sides; and they shall be housings for poles, to lift them up by it. ⁵ And you shall make the poles of acacia wood; and you shall overlay them with gold.

²⁹ And it happened as Moses was going down from Mount Sinai, the two tablets of the testimony being in Moses' hand as he went down from the mountain, Moses did not know that the skin of his face had become luminous through His speaking with him.

¹ And Bezaleel made the ark of acacia wood; two cubits and a half long, and a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high. ² And he overlaid it with pure gold, inside and outside. And he made for it a wreath of gold all around. ³ And he cast four rings of gold for it, on its four feet; two rings on its one side and two rings on its second side. ⁴ And he made poles of acacia wood; and he overlaid them with gold. ⁵ And he put the poles into the rings, on the sides of the ark, to carry the ark.

³⁵ the ark of the testimony, and its poles, and the mercyseat,

²⁰ And he took and gave the testimony into the ark. And he put the poles on the ark. And he gave the mercyseat on the ark from above. ²¹ And he caused the ark to go in into the tabernacle. And he placed the veil of the covering, and he covered over the ark of testimony, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

¹² And he shall take a censer full of coals of the fire from off the altar before Jehovah, and his hands full of fragrant perfumes beaten small, and bring it within the veil.

⁵ And it shall be that the man's rod which I choose shall blossom. And I shall cause the murmurings of the sons of Israel, which they are murmuring against you, to cease from Me.

⁸ And it happened on the next day, Moses went into the tabernacle of the testimony, and, behold! The rod of Aaron for the house of Levi had budded, and put forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and bore ripe almonds.

¹⁰ And Jehovah said to Moses, Put back the rod of Aaron, before the testimony, to be kept as a token to the sons of rebellion. And you shall end their murmurings off Me; and they shall not die.

² and I shall write on the tablets the words which were on the first tablets, which you have broken, and you shall place them in the ark. ³ And I made an ark of acacia wood, and cut out two tablets of stone like the first, and went up into the mountain; and the two tablets were in my hand. ⁴ And He wrote on the tablets according to the writing, the Ten Commandments which Jehovah had spoken to you in the mountain, out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly. And Jehovah gave them to me, ⁵ and I turned and came down from the mountain and put the tablets in the ark which I had made. And they are there, as Jehovah commanded me.

⁵⁰ and the basins, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the firepans were of refined gold; and the hinges for the doors of the inner house, for the Holy of Holies, for the doors of the house of the temple were of gold.

⁹ Nothing was in the ark, only the two tables of stone which Moses put there in Horeb, when Jehovah cut a covenant with the sons of Israel as they went out of the land of Egypt.

²¹ and set there a place for the ark, in which is the covenant of Jehovah which He made with our fathers when He brought them out from the land of Egypt.

¹⁰ Nothing was in the ark but the two tablets that Moses gave in Horeb, where Jehovah cut a covenant with the sons of Israel when they came out from Egypt.

² Jehovah shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion; rule in the midst of Your enemies. ³ Your people shall be willing in the day of Your power; in holy adornment from the womb of the dawn, to You is the dew of Your youth.

³ And another angel came and stood on the altar, having a golden censer. And many incenses were given to him, that he give them with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne.

⁶ And he made a mercyseat of pure gold; two cubits and a half long, and a cubit and a half wide. ⁷ And he made two cherubs of gold; he made them of beaten work, from the two ends of the mercyseat; ⁸ one cherub here at one end, and one cherub here at the other end. He made the cherubs from the mercyseat, from its two ends. ⁹ And the cherubs were spreading out wings above, covering the mercy-seat with their wings, their faces each toward the other; the faces of the cherubs were toward the mercyseat.

² And Jehovah said to Moses, Speak to your brother Aaron, and he shall not come in at all times to the sanctuary within the veil, to the front of the mercy-seat.

¹³ And he shall put the incense on the fire before Jehovah, and the cloud of the incense shall cover the mercy-seat on the testimony; and he shall not die.

⁸⁹ And when Moses went into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with Him, he heard the voice speaking to him from the mercy-seat which is on the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubs; and He spoke to him.

⁴ And the people sent to Shiloh, and they took from there the ark of the covenant of Jehovah of hosts, who dwells between the cherubs. And the two sons of Eli were there with the ark of the covenant of God, Hophni and Phinehas.

⁶ And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of Jehovah to its place, to the holy place of the house, into the Holy of Holies, to the place of the wings of the cherubs; ⁷ for the cherubs were spreading forth their wings to the place of the ark, and the cherubs covered over the ark, and over its staves from above.

¹⁵ And Hezekiah prayed before Jehovah, and said, O Jehovah the God of Israel, who sits above the cherubs, You are God Himself, You alone, to all the kingdoms of the earth; You have made the heavens and the earth.

¹¹ And David gave his son Solomon the pattern of the porch, and of its houses, and of its treasuries, and of its upper rooms, and of its innermost rooms, and of the house of the mercy-seat;

¹ To the chief musician. A Testimony. Concerning the Lilies. A Psalm of Asaph. Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, You leading Joseph like a flock; shine forth, You dwelling between the cherubs.

¹ Jehovah reigns; let the peoples tremble; He sits between the cherubs; let the earth quake.

¹⁰ so that now to the rulers and to the authorities in the heavenlies might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God,

¹⁶ Therefore, let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and we may find grace for help in time of need.

¹² To whom it was revealed that not to themselves, but to us they ministered the same things, which now were announced to you by those having preached the gospel to you in the Holy Spirit sent from Heaven; into which things angels long to bow to look.

²¹ In the tabernacle of the congregation from outside the veil which is by the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall arrange them from evening until morning before Jehovah; a never ending statute for their generations, from the sons of Israel.

⁷ And Aaron shall burn incense of perfume on it morning by morning; when he dresses the lamps he shall burn it. ⁸ And when Aaron sets up the lamps between the evenings he shall burn it, a perpetual incense before the face of Jehovah for your generations.

³ And you shall say to them, This is the fire offering which you shall offer to Jehovah, two yearling lambs without blemish, day by day, as a continual burnt offering.

¹⁶ And when he became strong, his heart was lifted up to act corruptly; and he trespassed against Jehovah his God, and went in to the temple of Jehovah to burn incense on the altar of incense. ¹⁷ And Azariah the priest went in after him, and eighty priests of Jehovah with him, sons of valor; ¹⁸ and they stood up against Uzziah the king, and said to him, It is not for you, O Uzziah, to burn incense to Jehovah, but to the priests, the sons of Aaron, who are sanctified to burn incense; go out of the sanctuary, for you have trespassed; and it is not to your honor from Jehovah God. ¹⁹ And Uzziah was angry, and in his hand was a censer to burn incense; and when he was angry with the priests, the leprosy rose in his forehead, before the priests, in the house of Jehovah, beside the altar of incense.

¹¹ Yea, he magnified himself even to the leader of the host. And the regular sacrifice was taken away by him, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.

⁸ And it happened in his serving as priest in the order of his course before God, ⁹ according to the custom of the priests, entering into the Holy Place of the Lord, it was Zacharias' lot to burn incense. ¹⁰ And all the multitude of the people was praying outside at the hour of incense. ¹¹ And an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right of the altar of incense.

¹⁰ And Aaron shall make atonement on its horns once in a year; from the blood of the sin offering of the atonement once in the year he shall make atonement on it for your generations; it is most holy to Jehovah.

¹⁸ then he shall bring a ram, a perfect one from the flock, at your evaluation for a guilt offering to the priest. And the priest shall atone for him, for his sin of ignorance which he erred, and he did not know; and it shall be forgiven him.

² And Jehovah said to Moses, Speak to your brother Aaron, and he shall not come in at all times to the sanctuary within the veil, to the front of the mercy-seat. ³ With this Aaron shall come into the sanctuary: with a bullock, a son of the herd, for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering. ⁴ He shall put on a holy linen coat, and linen underpants shall be on his flesh, and he shall gird himself with a linen girdle, and he shall wrap himself in a linen miter; they are holy garments. And he shall bathe his flesh with water and shall put them on. ⁵ And he shall take from the congregation of the sons of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering. ⁶ And Aaron shall bring near the bullock of the sin offering which is his own, and shall make atonement for himself, and for his house. ⁷ And he shall take the two goats and shall cause them to stand before Jehovah, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. ⁸ And Aaron shall give lots over the two goats, one lot for Jehovah, and one lot for a complete removal. ⁹ And Aaron shall bring the goat on which the lot of Jehovah fell and shall make it a sin offering. ¹⁰ And the goat on which the lot fell for a complete removal shall be made to stand living before Jehovah to atone by it, to send it away for a complete removal into the wilderness. ¹¹ And Aaron shall bring the bull of the sin offering which is his own, and shall atone for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bullock of the sin offering which is his own. ¹² And he shall take a censer full of coals of the fire from off the altar before Jehovah, and his hands full of fragrant perfumes beaten small, and bring it within the veil. ¹³ And he shall put the incense on the fire before Jehovah, and the cloud of the incense shall cover the mercy-seat on the testimony; and he shall not die. ¹⁴ And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and shall sprinkle with his finger on the front of the mercy-seat eastward. And he shall sprinkle at the front of the mercy-seat seven times from the blood with his finger. ¹⁵ And he shall kill the goat of the sin offering which is the people's, and shall bring in its blood to the inside of the veil, and shall do with its blood as he has done with the blood of the bullock, and shall sprinkle it on the mercy-seat, and at the front of the mercy-seat. ¹⁶ And he shall atone for the sanctuary because of the pollutions of the sons of Israel, and because of their transgressions for all their sins. And so he shall do for the tabernacle of the congregation dwelling in the midst of their pollutions. ¹⁷ And not any man shall be in the tabernacle of the congregation as he goes in to atone in the sanctuary, until he comes out. And he shall atone for himself, and for his house, and for all the congregation of Israel. ¹⁸ And he shall go out to the altar before Jehovah, and shall atone for it. And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and shall put it on the horns of the altar all around. ¹⁹ And he shall sprinkle on it from the blood with his finger seven times, and shall cleanse it, and shall purify it from the uncleannesses of the sons of Israel. ²⁰ And when he has finished atoning for the sanctuary, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, and has brought near the living goat;

³⁴ And this shall be to you a never ending statute to atone for the sons of Israel, because of all their sins, once a year. And he did as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

⁷ then the anger of Jehovah glowed against Uzzah. And God struck him there for the fault. And he died there by the ark of God.

⁹ And Manasseh caused Judah and the people of Jerusalem to sin, to do evil above the nations that Jehovah destroyed before the sons of Israel.

¹² Who can discern errors? Acquit me from secret faults,

¹⁰ For forty years I was disgusted with this generation; and I said, They are a people who err in heart; and, They do not know My ways,

¹² As for My people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over him. Oh My people, your rulers cause you to go astray, and they swallow the way of your paths.

¹⁶ For this people's leaders led them astray, and its guided ones are swallowed up.

⁷ But they also have gone astray by wine, and have erred through fermented drink; priest and prophet have erred through fermented drink; they have been swallowed by wine; they strayed from fermented drink; they err in seeing; they stumble in judgment;

¹⁴ So, behold, I am adding to do a wonders with this people, the wonder, even a wonder. For the wisdom of his wise ones shall perish, and the wit of his witty ones shall be hidden.

¹² My people seek advice by their wooden idols, and their rod declares to them. For the spirit of harlotry has led them astray, and they fornicated from under their God.

¹⁴ And refuge shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his power, nor shall the mighty deliver his life,

² being able to feel in due measure for those not knowing and having been led astray, since he also is circled about with weakness. ³ And because of this he ought to offer for sins as concerning the people, so also concerning himself.

²⁷ who has no need, as do the high priests, to offer sacrifices day by day, first for His own sins, then for those of the people. For He did this once for all, offering up Himself.

²⁴ For Christ did not enter into the Holy of Holies made by hands, types of the true things, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf, ²⁵ not that often He should offer Himself even as the high priest enters into the Holy of Holies year by year with blood of others;

³ But in these there is a remembrance of sins year by year,

¹¹ Then His people remembered the days past of Moses and His people, saying, Where is He who brought us up from the sea with the shepherd of His flock. Where is He who put His Holy Spirit within him;

⁷ Then Jesus again said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you that I am the door of the sheep.

⁹ I am the door. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in, and will go out, and will find pasture.

⁶ Jesus said to him, I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

⁵¹ Oh stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and in the ears! You always fell against the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, you also did . ⁵² Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who before announced the coming of the Just One, of whom you now have become betrayers and murderers,

²⁵ And disagreeing with one another, they were let go, Paul saying one word: Well did the Holy Spirit speak through the prophet Isaiah to our fathers,

⁸ And the Scripture foreseeing that God would justify the nations by faith, preached the gospel before to Abraham: "All the nations will be blessed" "in you." Gen. 12:3

¹⁸ For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

⁷ Because of this, even as the Holy Spirit says, "Today, if you hear His voice,

¹⁵ For we do not have a high priest not being able to sympathize with our weaknesses but One having been tried in all respects according to our likeness, apart from sin. ¹⁶ Therefore, let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and we may find grace for help in time of need.

³ But behind the second veil is a tabernacle, that called Holy of Holies,

¹⁵ And the Holy Spirit witnesses to us also. For after having said before,

¹⁹ Then, brothers, having confidence for the entering of the Holy of Holies by the blood of Jesus, ²⁰ which He consecrated for us, a new and living way through the veil; that is, His flesh; ²¹ and having a Great Priest over the house of God, ²² let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, our hearts having been sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our body having been washed in pure water;

²¹ for prophecy was not at any time borne by the will of man, but having been borne along by the Holy Spirit, holy men of God spoke.

⁶ Sacrifice and offering You did not desire; You have opened ears to Me. You have not asked burnt offering and sin offering. ⁷ Then I said, Lo, I come, in the roll of the Book it is written of Me;

¹⁶ For you do not desire sacrifice, or I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. ¹⁷ The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. ¹⁸ Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion; build the walls of Jerusalem. ¹⁹ Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole offering; then they shall offer bulls on Your altar.

¹⁴ but death reigned from Adam until Moses, even on those who had not sinned in the likeness of Adam's transgression, who is a type of the coming One .

²¹ Then is the Law against the promises of God? Let it not be! For if a law had been given which had been able to make alive, indeed righteousness would have been out of law.

¹ For every high priest being taken from men is appointed on behalf of men in the things respecting God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins;

¹¹ Truly, then, if perfection was through the Levitical priestly office (for the people had been given Law under it), why yet need for another priest to arise according to the order of Melchizedek and not to be called according to the order of Aaron?

¹⁸ For a voiding of the preceding command comes about because of its weakness and unprofitableness. ¹⁹ For the Law perfected nothing, but a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

¹³ For if the blood of bulls and goats, and ashes of a heifer sprinkling those having been defiled, sanctifies to the purity of the flesh, ¹⁴ by how much more the blood of Christ (who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God), will purify your conscience from dead works for the serving of the living God!

²⁴ For Christ did not enter into the Holy of Holies made by hands, types of the true things, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf,

¹ For the Law had a shadow of the coming good things, not the image itself of those things. Appearing year by year with the same sacrifices, which they offer continually, they never are able to perfect the ones drawing near. ² Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, because those serving did not still have conscience of sins, having once for all been cleansed? ³ But in these there is a remembrance of sins year by year, ⁴ for it is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

¹¹ And indeed every priest stands day by day ministering, and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

¹⁹ reckoning that God was able to raise even from the dead; from where indeed he obtained him in a parable.

³⁹ And having obtained witness through the faith, these all did not obtain the promise, ⁴⁰ God having foreseen something better concerning us, that they should not be perfected apart from us.

¹¹ searching for what, or what sort of time the Spirit of Christ made clear within them; testifying beforehand of the sufferings belonging to Christ, and the glories after these. ¹² To whom it was revealed that not to themselves, but to us they ministered the same things, which now were announced to you by those having preached the gospel to you in the Holy Spirit sent from Heaven; into which things angels long to bow to look.

²¹ Which figure now also saves us, baptism (not a putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;

⁴ And you shall take Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of congregation. And you shall wash them in water.

¹⁹ And Aaron and his son shall wash from it, their hands and their feet; ²⁰ as they go into the tabernacle of the congregation they shall wash with water, and shall not die; or as they draw near to the altar to minister, to burn a fire offering to Jehovah. ²¹ And they shall wash their hands and their feet, and shall not die. And it shall be a never ending statute to them, to him and to his seed for their generations.

¹² And you shall cause to draw near Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And you shall wash them with water.

² Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, These are the living things which you shall eat out of all the animals which are on the earth. ³ Any that divides the hoof and is wholly clovenfooted, bringing up the cud, among the living things, you may eat it. ⁴ Only, you may not eat these, of those bringing up the cud, and of those dividing the hoof: the camel, though it brings up the cud, yet it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you; ⁵ and the rock badger, though it brings up the cud, yet it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you; ⁶ and the hare, though it brings up the cud, yet it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you; ⁷ and the swine, though it divides the hoof and is clovenfooted, yet it does not bring up the cud; it is unclean to you. ⁸ You shall not eat of their flesh, and you shall not touch their dead body; they are unclean to you. ⁹ Of all that are in the waters, you shall eat these; any one that has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the torrents, you may eat them. ¹⁰ But any one that does not have fins and scales in the seas, and in the torrents, of any swarming creature of the waters, and of any creature which lives in the waters; they are to be detested by you. ¹¹ Yes, they shall be detested by you; you shall not eat of their flesh and you shall shun their dead bodies. ¹² Any one that does not have fins and scales in the waters, it shall be an unclean thing to you. ¹³ And these you shall count unclean among the fowls; they shall not be eaten; they are unclean: the eagle, and the black vulture and the bearded vulture, ¹⁴ and the kite, and the falcon, according to its kind; ¹⁵ every raven according to its kind; ¹⁶ and the ostrich, and the great owl, and the gull, and small hawks, according to its kind ¹⁷ and the little owl, and the cormorant, and the eared owl; ¹⁸ and the barn owl, and the pelican and the owl-vulture; ¹⁹ and the stork, the heron according to its kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat. ²⁰ Every flying swarming creature going on all four, it is an abomination to you. ²¹ Only, this you may eat of any swarming thing which flies, which goes on all four, which has legs above its feet, to leap with them on the earth; ²² these are those you may eat: the locusts according to its kind, and the bald locust according to its kind, and the long horned locust according to its kind, and the short horned grasshopper according to its kind. ²³ But every swarming thing which flies, which has four feet, it is unclean to you. ²⁴ And by these you shall be made unclean; any who touches their dead body is unclean until the evening. ²⁵ And anyone who lifts up their dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening; ²⁶ even every living thing which divides the hoof, and is not clovenfooted, and does not bring up the cud, they are unclean to you; anyone who touches them shall be unclean. ²⁷ And any going on its paws among all the living things which go on all four, they are unclean to you; anyone who touches their dead body is unclean until the evening; ²⁸ and he who lifts up their dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening; they are unclean to you. ²⁹ And these shall be unclean to you among the swarming things which swarm on the earth: the weasel, and the mouse, and the great lizard according to its kind, ³⁰ and the gecko, and the monitor, and the lizard, and the sand lizard, and the barn owl. ³¹ These are unclean to you among all which swarm; anyone who touches them in their death is unclean until the evening. ³² And anything on which any one of them falls in their death is unclean, whether of any vessel of wood, or garment, or skin, or sack; any vessel in which work is done shall be caused to go into water, and shall be unclean until the evening; then it shall be cleaned. ³³ Ad any earthen vessel into the midst of which any one of them falls, whatever is in it shall be unclean, and you shall break it. ³⁴ And of all the food which may be eaten, that on which such water falls shall be unclean, and all drink that may be drunk in any such vessel shall be unclean. ³⁵ And anything on which any part of their dead body falls shall be unclean; an oven or hearth shall be broken down; they are unclean; yes, they are unclean to you. ³⁶ But a fountain or a well, a collection of water, shall be clean; only that touching the dead body is unclean. ³⁷ And when any part of their dead body falls on any sowing seed which is sown, it shall be clean; ³⁸ but when water is put on the seed, and any of its dead body has fallen on it, it shall be unclean to you. ³⁹ And when any of the animals which are food for you dies, he who touches its dead body is unclean until the evening; ⁴⁰ and he who eats of its dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening; and he who lifts up its dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening. ⁴¹ And every swarming thing which swarms on the earth is unclean; it shall not be eaten; ⁴² Anything going on its belly, and any going on all four, and all having many feet, even every swarming thing that swarms on the earth, you shall not eat them, for they are unclean; ⁴³ you shall not pollute yourselves with any swarming thing which swarms, nor shall you make yourselves unclean with them, so that you should be defiled by them. ⁴⁴ For I am Jehovah your God, and you have sanctified yourselves, and you have become holy, for I am holy. And you shall not defile your persons with any swarming thing which creeps on the earth; ⁴⁵ for I am Jehovah who brought you up out of the land of Egypt to become your God; and you shall be holy, for I am holy. ⁴⁶ This is the law of the animals, and of the fowl, and of every living creature which moves in the waters, and every creature which swarms on the earth, ⁴⁷ to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living thing that may be eaten and the living thing that may not be eaten.

⁸ And he who is to be cleansed shall wash his garments, and shall shave all his hair, and shall bathe with water, and shall be clean. And afterwards he shall come into the camp, and shall live on the outside of his tent seven days. ⁹ And it shall be on the seventh day, he shall shave all his hair, his head, and his beard, and his eyebrows; he shall even shave all his hair. And he shall wash his garments, and shall bathe his flesh with water, and shall be clean.

⁴ He shall put on a holy linen coat, and linen underpants shall be on his flesh, and he shall gird himself with a linen girdle, and he shall wrap himself in a linen miter; they are holy garments. And he shall bathe his flesh with water and shall put them on.

²⁴ And he shall bathe his flesh with water in the sanctuary and shall put on his garments, and shall come out, and shall offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and shall atone for himself and for his people.

¹⁵ And any person who eats a dead body or torn thing, be he a native, or an alien, he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening; then he shall be clean. ¹⁶ And if he does not wash them, nor bathe his flesh, then he shall bear his iniquity.

⁶ the person who touches it shall even be unclean until the evening, and shall not eat of the holy things, but shall bathe his flesh with water.

⁷ Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he may come into the camp; and the priest shall be unclean until the evening. ⁸ And he that burned her shall wash his clothes in water, and shall bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the evening. ⁹ And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and shall lay them up outside the camp in a clean place. And it shall be kept for the congregation of the sons of Israel for a water of impurity; it is a purging offering. ¹⁰ And he that gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and shall be unclean until the evening; and it shall be to the sons of Israel, and to the stranger that lives among them, for a never ending statute. ¹¹ He that touches the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days. ¹² He shall cleanse himself for it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean. And if he does not cleanse himself on the third day, then on the seventh day he shall not be clean. ¹³ Anyone who touches the dead body, the body of a man who dies, and does not cleanse himself, he shall have defiled the tabernacle of Jehovah; and that person shall be cut off from Israel, for the water of impurity shall not be sprinkled upon him. He shall be unclean; his uncleanness shall be still on him. ¹⁴ This is the law when a man dies in a tent: Everyone who comes into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days. ¹⁵ And every open vessel which has no covering of thread on it shall be unclean. ¹⁶ And whoever in the open field touches one that has been pierced with a sword, or one that has died of himself, or the bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days. ¹⁷ And for the unclean they shall take the ashes of the burning of the purging offering, and running water in a vessel shall be put on it. ¹⁸ And a clean person shall take hyssop, and shall dip it in the water, and shall sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched the bone, or the slain, or the dead, or the grave. ¹⁹ And the clean person shall sprinkle on the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day; and on the seventh day he shall purify himself; and he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at evening. ²⁰ But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from the midst of the congregation, because he has defiled the sanctuary of Jehovah; the water for impurity has not been sprinkled on him; he shall be unclean. ²¹ And it shall be a never ending statute to them; and he that sprinkles the water of impurity shall wash his clothes; and he that touches the water of sprinkling shall be unclean until evening.

³ You shall not eat any abominable thing. ⁴ These are the animals which you shall eat: the ox, the flocked sheep, and the flocked goat, ⁵ the hart and gazelle, and roe deer, and wild goat, and antelope, and oryx, and moufflon. ⁶ And you may eat every animal that divides the hoof, and divides two hoofs wholly, and chews the cud among the animals. ⁷ But you shall not eat of those that only chew the cud, or those only dividing the cloven hoof: the camel, and the hare, and the rock badger; for they chew the cud but do not divide the hoof. They shall be unclean to you. ⁸ And the swine, because it divides the hoof, but does not chew the cud; it is unclean to you. You shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead body. ⁹ These you shall eat of all in the waters: you shall eat all that have fins and scales. ¹⁰ And whatever does not have fins and scales, you shall not eat. It shall be unclean to you. ¹¹ You shall eat of all clean birds. ¹² But you shall not eat of these: the eagle, the black vulture, and the bearded vulture, ¹³ and the hawk, and falcons, and the kite by its kinds, ¹⁴ and all ravens by their kinds; ¹⁵ and the ostrich, and the great owl, and the sea gull, and small hawks by their kinds, ¹⁶ the little owl, and the eared owl, and the barn owl, ¹⁷ and the pelican, and the owl, and the cormorant, ¹⁸ and the stork, and the heron after its kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat. ¹⁹ And every teeming thing that flies shall be unclean to you; they shall not be eaten. ²⁰ You may eat of all clean birds. ²¹ You shall not eat of anything that died of itself. You may give it to the alien who is within your gates, that he may eat it. Or you may sell it to a foreigner. For you are a holy people to Jehovah your God. You shall not simmer a kid in its mother's milk.

⁶ And all the elders of that city nearest to the one slain shall wash their hands by the stream, over the heifer whose neck was broken.

¹¹ And it shall be, as evening is turning, he shall bathe with water, and as the sun is going, he shall come into the middle of the camp.

¹⁴ Then I said, Ah, Lord Jehovah! Behold, my soul has not been defiled. I have not even eaten a carcass or a torn animal, from my youth even until now. And unclean flesh has not come into my mouth.

⁴ And coming from the market, they do not eat without immersing. And there are many other things which they received to hold: dippings of cups, and of utensils, and of copper vessels, and couches.

¹³ And a voice came to him, Rise up, Peter, slay and eat. ¹⁴ But Peter said, Not at all, Lord, because I never did eat anything common or unclean. ¹⁵ And again a voice came to him a second time, What things God made clean, you do not make common.

³ So we also, when we were infants, we were under the elements of the world, being enslaved. ⁴ But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, having come into being out of a woman, having come under Law,

⁹ But now, knowing God, but rather being known by God, how do you turn again to the weak and poor elements to which you desire again to slave anew?

¹⁰ for the administration of the fullness of the times to head up all things in Christ, both the things in the heavens, and the things on earth, in Him,

¹⁵ in His flesh causing to cease the enmity, the Law of the commandments in decrees, that He might in Himself create the two into one new man, making peace, ¹⁶ Then do not let anyone judge you in eating, or in drinking, or in respect of a feast, or the new moon, or of sabbaths,

²⁰ If, then, you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why are you under its decrees, as living in the world? ²¹ Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch, ²² These things are all to rot away in the using, according to the "injunctions and teachings of men." Isa. 29:13

⁵ For He did not put the coming world under angels, about which we speak,

² of the baptisms, of doctrine, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of dead ones, and of eternal judgment.

⁵ and tasting the good Word of God, and the works of power of a coming age,

¹⁶ who has not become so according to a law of a fleshly command, but according to the power of an indissoluble life.

¹ Truly, then, the first tabernacle also had ordinances of service, and the earthly holy place.

²² let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, our hearts having been sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our body having been washed in pure water;

⁹ Do not be carried away by various and strange doctrine; for it is good that the heart be confirmed by grace, not by foods, in which those walking in them were not profited.

¹⁰ The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the lawmaker from between his feet, until Shiloh come, and the obedience of the peoples to him.

⁷ Then I said, Lo, I come, in the roll of the Book it is written of Me;

²⁰ And the Redeemer comes to Zion, and to those in Jacob who turn from transgression, declares Jehovah.

¹ Behold, I am sending My messenger, and He will clear the way before Me. And the Lord whom you are seeking shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Angel of the Covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He comes, says Jehovah of hosts.

⁶ "And you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judea, in no way are you least among the governors of Judah, for out of you shall come a Governor who shall shepherd My people Israel." Mic. 5:2

³ John said to Him, Are You the One coming, or are we to look for another?

⁵⁸ We heard Him saying, I will throw down this temple made with hands, and through three days I will build another not made with hands.

¹⁴ And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, glory as of an only begotten from the Father, full of grace and of truth.

²⁵ The woman said to Him, I know that Messiah is coming, the One called Christ. When that One comes, He will announce to us all things.

⁴⁸ But the Most High does not dwell in temples made by hand, as the prophet says,

²⁴ The God who made the world and all things in it, this One being Lord of Heaven and of earth, does not dwell in handmade temples, ²⁵ nor is served by hands of men, as having need of anything. For He is giving life and breath and all things to all.

¹ For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle is taken down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in Heaven.

¹¹ in whom also you were circumcised with a circumcision not made by hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,

¹⁷ For this reason He ought by all means to become like His brothers, that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the things respecting God, in order to make propitiation for the sins of His people.

¹ For this reason, holy brothers, called to be partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus,

¹⁵ For we do not have a high priest not being able to sympathize with our weaknesses but One having been tried in all respects according to our likeness, apart from sin.

⁵ So also Christ did not glorify Himself to become a high priest, but He speaking to Him, "You are My Son; today I have begotten You." Psa. 2:7 ⁶ As He also says in another, "You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek," Psa. 110:4

¹ For this "Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the most high God," the one meeting Abraham "returning from the slaughter" "of the kings," "and blessing him;"

¹¹ Truly, then, if perfection was through the Levitical priestly office (for the people had been given Law under it), why yet need for another priest to arise according to the order of Melchizedek and not to be called according to the order of Aaron? ¹² For the priestly office having been changed, of necessity a change of law also occurs. ¹³ For the One of whom these things are said has partaken of another tribe, from which no one has given devotion at the altar. ¹⁴ For it is clear that our Lord has risen out of Judah, as to which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood. ¹⁵ And it is still more abundantly clear that if another priest arises according to the likeness of Melchizedek, ¹⁶ who has not become so according to a law of a fleshly command, but according to the power of an indissoluble life. ¹⁷ For it is testified, "You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek." Psa. 110:4 ¹⁸ For a voiding of the preceding command comes about because of its weakness and unprofitableness. ¹⁹ For the Law perfected nothing, but a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God. ²⁰ And by how much it was not apart from the swearing of an oath; ²¹ for they have become priests without the swearing of an oath, but He with the swearing through Him who says to Him, " The Lord swore, and will not repent, You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek;" Psa. 110:4 ²² by so much Jesus has become Surety of a better covenant. ²³ And they truly are many priests, being hindered from continuing because of death; ²⁴ but He has the priesthood not to be passed on, because of His continuing forever. ²⁵ From this also He is able to save to perfection those who come to God through Him, ever living to intercede on their behalf. ²⁶ For such a High Priest was fitting for us: holy, harmless, undefiled, and separated from sinners, and having become higher than the heavens; ²⁷ who has no need, as do the high priests, to offer sacrifices day by day, first for His own sins, then for those of the people. For He did this once for all, offering up Himself.

¹ Now a summary over the things being said: We have such a High Priest, who sat down on the right of the throne of the Majesty in Heaven, Psa. 110:1 ² Minister of the Holy of Holies, and of the true tabernacle which the Lord pitched, and not man.

¹ Truly, then, the first tabernacle also had ordinances of service, and the earthly holy place. ² For the first tabernacle was prepared, in which was both the lampstand and the table, and the setting out of the loaves, which is called holy. ³ But behind the second veil is a tabernacle, that called Holy of Holies, ⁴ having a golden altar of incense, and the ark of the covenant covered around on all sides with gold, in which was the golden pot having the manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant; ⁵ and above it the cherubs of glory overshadowing the mercy-seat (about which now is not time to speak piece by piece). ⁶ And these having been prepared thus, the priests go into the first tabernacle through all, completing the services. ⁷ But into the second the high priest goes alone once in the year, not without blood, which he offers for himself and the ignorances of the people; ⁸ the Holy Spirit signifying by this that the way of the Holies has not yet been made manifest, the first tabernacle still having standing; ⁹ which was a parable for the present time, according to which both gifts and sacrifices are offered, but as regards conscience, not being able to perfect the one serving,

²³ Then it was needful for the figures of the things in the heavens to be cleansed with these; but the heavenly things themselves by better sacrifices than these. ²⁴ For Christ did not enter into the Holy of Holies made by hands, types of the true things, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf,

¹ For the Law had a shadow of the coming good things, not the image itself of those things. Appearing year by year with the same sacrifices, which they offer continually, they never are able to perfect the ones drawing near.

² By this know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God. ³ And every spirit which does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not from God; and this is the antichrist which you heard is coming, and now is already in the world.

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God has come, and He has given to us an understanding that we may know the true One, and we are in the true One, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and the life everlasting.

⁷ Because many deceivers went out into the world, those not confessing Jesus Christ to have come in the flesh, this is the deceiver and the antichrist.

² Take Aaron, and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and the bullock of the sin offering, and the two rams, and the basket of unleavened things,

¹⁵ And he brought the offering of the people, and took the goat of the sin offering which is for the people, and killed it, and made it a sin offering like the first.

⁵ And he shall take from the congregation of the sons of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering. ⁶ And Aaron shall bring near the bullock of the sin offering which is his own, and shall make atonement for himself, and for his house. ⁷ And he shall take the two goats and shall cause them to stand before Jehovah, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. ⁸ And Aaron shall give lots over the two goats, one lot for Jehovah, and one lot for a complete removal. ⁹ And Aaron shall bring the goat on which the lot of Jehovah fell and shall make it a sin offering. ¹⁰ And the goat on which the lot fell for a complete removal shall be made to stand living before Jehovah to atone by it, to send it away for a complete removal into the wilderness.

²⁴ Seventy weeks are decreed as to your people, and as to your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make atonement for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.

⁹ For, behold, I will bring forth My Servant, the BRANCH. For behold, the stone which I have given before Joshua, on the one stone are seven eyes. I will engrave its engraving, says Jehovah of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

²⁹ but whoever commits blasphemy against the Holy Spirit has no forgiveness to eternity, but is liable to eternal judgment

²⁸ Then take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit placed you as overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased through His own blood.

¹³ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it has been written, "Cursed is everyone having been hung on a tree;" Deut. 21:23 ¹⁴ that the blessing of Abraham might be to the nations in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

⁷ in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

¹⁴ in whom we have redemption through His blood, the remission of sins;

¹⁰ and to await His Son from Heaven, whom He raised from the dead, Jesus, the One delivering us from the wrath to come.

¹⁴ who gave Himself on our behalf, "that He might redeem us from all iniquity" "and purify" "a people" "for His own possession," zealous of good works. Psa. 130:8; Eze. 37:23; Deut. 14:2

³ who being the shining splendor of His glory, and the express image of His essence, and upholding all things by the word of His power, having made purification of our sins through Himself, He sat down on the right of the Majesty on high, Psa. 110:1

⁹ and being perfected, He became the Author of eternal salvation to all the ones obeying Him,

⁷ But into the second the high priest goes alone once in the year, not without blood, which he offers for himself and the ignorances of the people;

¹³ For if the blood of bulls and goats, and ashes of a heifer sprinkling those having been defiled, sanctifies to the purity of the flesh,

¹⁵ And because of this He is Mediator of a new covenant, so that, death having occurred for redemption of transgressions under the first covenant, those having been called out might receive the promise of the everlasting inheritance.

²⁴ For Christ did not enter into the Holy of Holies made by hands, types of the true things, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf, ²⁵ not that often He should offer Himself even as the high priest enters into the Holy of Holies year by year with blood of others; ²⁶ since He must often have suffered from the foundation of the world. But now once for all, at the completion of the ages, He has been manifested for putting away of sin through the sacrifice of Himself.

²⁸ so being once offered "to bear the sins of many," Christ shall appear a second time without sin to those expecting Him for salvation. Isa. 53:12

⁴ for it is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

⁹ then He said, "Lo, I come to do Your will, O God." He takes away the first in order that He may set up the second; ¹⁰ by which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. ¹¹ And indeed every priest stands day by day ministering, and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. ¹² But He, offering but one sacrifice for sins, "sat down" in perpetuity " at the right hand " of God, ¹³ from then on expecting "until His enemies are placed as a footstool" of His feet. Psa. 110:1 ¹⁴ For by one offering He has perfected in perpetuity the ones being sanctified.

¹⁹ Then, brothers, having confidence for the entering of the Holy of Holies by the blood of Jesus,

¹⁸ knowing that not with corruptible things, silver or gold, you were redeemed from your worthless way of life handed down from your fathers, ¹⁹ but with precious blood of Christ, as of an unblemished and unspotted lamb,

⁵ even from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the First-born out of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him loving us and washing us from our sins by His blood,

⁹ And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy are You to receive the scroll, and to open its seals, because You were slain, and by Your blood purchased us to God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

¹⁴ And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and shall sprinkle with his finger on the front of the mercy-seat eastward. And he shall sprinkle at the front of the mercy-seat seven times from the blood with his finger. ¹⁵ And he shall kill the goat of the sin offering which is the people's, and shall bring in its blood to the inside of the veil, and shall do with its blood as he has done with the blood of the bullock, and shall sprinkle it on the mercy-seat, and at the front of the mercy-seat. ¹⁶ And he shall atone for the sanctuary because of the pollutions of the sons of Israel, and because of their transgressions for all their sins. And so he shall do for the tabernacle of the congregation dwelling in the midst of their pollutions.

⁷ And thus you will do to them to cleanse them: sprinkle water of sin offering on them. And they shall make a razor pass over all their flesh and wash their garments and cleanse themselves.

² This is the statute of the law which Jehovah has commanded, saying, Speak to the sons of Israel, that they bring you a red heifer, a perfect one, in which there is no blemish, on which no yoke ever came. ³ And you shall give her to Eleazar the priest, and she shall be brought forth outside the camp; and she shall be slaughtered before his face. ⁴ And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and shall sprinkle of her blood toward the front of the tabernacle of the congregation seven times. ⁵ And the heifer shall be burned before his eyes; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood with her dung, shall be burned. ⁶ And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop and scarlet, and shall cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.

¹⁹ everyone who has prepared his heart to seek Jehovah God, the God of his fathers, yet not according to the cleansing of the sanctuary.

⁷ Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

⁹ And He made distinction in nothing between both us and them, having purified their hearts by faith.

²² Having purified your souls in the obedience of the truth through the Spirit to unpretended brotherly love, love one another fervently out of a pure heart,

²⁰ You shall not offer that which has a blemish; for it shall not be acceptable for you.

⁹ And on the sabbath day, two lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones, and two tenth parts of flour, a food offering mixed with oil, and its drink offering;

¹¹ And in the beginning of your months you shall bring near a burnt offering to Jehovah: two bullocks, sons of the herd, and one ram, seven lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones.

²⁶ For who of all flesh that has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and has lived?

²¹ And if there is any blemish in it, lameness, or blindness, or any evil blemish whatever, you shall not sacrifice it to Jehovah your God.

¹ You shall not sacrifice to Jehovah your God an ox or sheep in which there is a blemish, any evil thing, for it is a hateful thing to Jehovah your God.

²⁷ For I have known your rebellion and your stiff neck. Behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, you have been rebellious against Jehovah. And how much more after my death!

²⁷ The God of old is a refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. And He shall cast the enemy out from before you, and shall say, Destroy!

²⁶ And David spoke to the men who were standing with him, saying, What shall be done to the man who strikes this Philistine, and turns aside reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should reproach the armies of the living God?

¹¹ And when wicked men have slain a righteous man in his own house on his bed, should I not even now seek his blood from your hand, and glean you from the earth?

¹⁶ O Jehovah, incline Your ear and hear; O Jehovah, open Your eyes and see; and hear the words of Sennacherib with which he has sent him to reproach the living God.

¹⁶ How much more is filthy man loathed, who drinks iniquity like water!

¹ Behold My Servant; I will uphold Him; My Elect in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit on Him; He shall bring forth justice to the nations.

⁹ And He put His grave with the wicked; and with a rich man in His death; although He had done no violence, and deceit was not in His mouth.

¹⁵ For so says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, and His name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, even with the contrite and humble of spirit; to make live the spirit of the humble and to make live the heart of the contrite ones.

¹ The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is on Me, because Jehovah has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the meek. He has sent Me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to captives, and complete opening to the bound ones;

¹⁰ But Jehovah is the true God, He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to stand His indignation.

²⁶ A decree was given from before me that in all the domain of my kingdom there shall be trembling and fear before the God of Daniel. For He is the living God and endures forever, and His kingdom is the one which shall not be destroyed. And His rule shall be to the end.

²⁴ Seventy weeks are decreed as to your people, and as to your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make atonement for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy. ²⁵ Know, then, and understand that from the going out of a word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem, to Messiah the Prince, shall be seven weeks and sixty two weeks. The street shall be built again, and the wall, even in times of affliction. ²⁶ And after sixty two weeks, Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself. And the people of a coming prince shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end shall be with the flood, and ruins are determined, and war shall be until the end.

¹¹ Therefore, if you, being evil. know to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in Heaven give good things to those that ask Him?

²⁸ But if I cast out the demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come on you.

²⁸ Even as the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

⁷⁴ to give to us, that we being delivered out of our enemies' hand, in order to serve Him without fear,

¹⁸ " The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me. Because of this He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me" to heal the brokenhearted, "to preach remission to captives and new sight to the blind," to send away the ones having been crushed in deliverance,

²⁴ Consider the ravens, for they do not sow, nor do they reap; to which there is no storehouse or barn, and God feeds them. How much rather you differ from the birds!

²⁸ But if God so dresses the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much rather you, little-faiths?

³⁴ For the One whom God sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure.

² until the day He was taken up, having given directions to the apostles whom He chose, through the Holy Spirit,

³⁸ Jesus the One from Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all those having been oppressed by the Devil, because God was with Him.

¹⁵ and saying, Men, why do you do these things? We also are men of like feelings to you, announcing the gospel to you to turn you from these vanities to the living God, who "made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all things in them," Ex. 20:11

⁴ who was marked out Son of God in power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by resurrection of the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord;

²⁰ for the unseen things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things made, both His eternal power and Godhead, for them to be without excuse.

¹³ Neither present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as one living from the dead, and your members instruments of righteousness to God.

²² But now being set free from sin, and being enslaved to God, you have your fruit unto sanctification, and the end everlasting life.

¹² But if their slipping away is the riches of the world, and their default the riches of the nations, how much more their fullness?

²⁴ For if you were cut out of the natural wild olive tree, and against nature were grafted into a good olive tree, how much more these being according to nature will be grafted into their own olive tree?

²¹ For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

¹⁶ And what agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are a temple of the living God, even as God said, "I will" dwell in them and "walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." Lev. 26:12; Ezek. 37:27

¹⁹ For through law I died to law, that I might live to God.

⁵ even we being dead in sins, He made us alive together with Christ (by grace you are being saved),

² and walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell.

⁹ For they themselves announce concerning us what kind of entrance we have to you, and how you had turned to God from the idols, to serve the true and living God,

¹⁷ Now to the King eternal, incorruptible, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

¹⁵ But if I delay, that you may know how to behave in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.

¹ Because of this, having left the discourse of the beginning of Christ, let us be borne on to full growth, not laying down again a foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

⁹ which was a parable for the present time, according to which both gifts and sacrifices are offered, but as regards conscience, not being able to perfect the one serving,

¹² nor through the blood of goats and of calves, but through His own blood, He entered once for all into the Holy of Holies, having procured everlasting redemption.

² Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, because those serving did not still have conscience of sins, having once for all been cleansed?

²¹ By faith dying Jacob blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and "worshiped on the top of his staff." LXX-47:31

¹⁹ but with precious blood of Christ, as of an unblemished and unspotted lamb,

²² "who did not sin, nor was guile found in His mouth;" Isa. 53:9

²⁴ who "Himself bore in His body our sins" onto the tree; that dying to sins, we might live to righteousness; of whom, "by His wound, you were healed.

¹⁸ Because even Christ once suffered concerning sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God; indeed being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit;

² for him no longer to live in the lusts of men, but to live the remaining time in the flesh in the will of God.

⁷ But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of His Son Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.

⁵ And you know that He was revealed that He might take away our sins, and sin is not in Him.

¹⁸ Jehovah knows the days of the upright, and their inheritance shall be forever.

¹⁰ But Jehovah pleased to crush Him, to make Him sick, so that If He should put His soul as a guilt offering, He shall see His seed; He shall prolong His days; and the will of Jehovah shall prosper in His hand. ¹¹ He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul; He shall be fully satisfied. By His knowledge shall My righteous Servant justify for many, and He shall bear their iniquities. ¹² Because of this I will divide to Him with the great, and with the strong He shall divide the spoil; because He poured out His soul to death; and He was counted with transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for transgressors.

²⁶ And after sixty two weeks, Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself. And the people of a coming prince shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end shall be with the flood, and ruins are determined, and war shall be until the end.

²⁹ And everyone who left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for My name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

³⁴ Then the King will say to those on His right, Come, the blessed of My Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

³⁶ naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.

¹⁷ And He having gone out into the highway, running up and kneeling down to Him, one questioned Him, Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?

¹⁸ And a certain ruler asked Him saying, Good Teacher, what may I do to inherit eternal life?

²⁸ And I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish to the age, and not anyone shall pluck them out of My hand.

²⁴ being justified freely by His grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus, ²⁵ whom God set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, for a showing forth of His righteousness through the passing by of the sins that had taken place before, in the forbearance of God, ²⁶ for the showing forth of His righteousness in the present time, for His being just and justifying the one that is of the faith of Jesus.

⁶ for we yet being without strength, in due time Christ died for ungodly ones.

⁸ but God commends His love to us in this, that we being yet sinners, Christ died for us.

¹⁰ For if while being enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life;

²³ For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is everlasting life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

²⁸ But we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to purpose;

³⁰ But whom He predestinated, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; but whom He justified, these He also glorified.

²⁴ whom He also called, not only us, of Jews, but also out of nations.

⁶ who also made us able ministers of a new covenant, not of letter, but of Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit makes alive.

¹⁴ to which He called you through our gospel, to obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁵ For God is one, also there is one Mediator of God and of men, the Man Christ Jesus,

¹⁰ Because of this, I endure all things on account of the elect, that they also may obtain salvation in Christ Jesus, with everlasting glory.

² on hope of eternal life which the God who does not lie promised before the eternal times,

⁷ that being justified by His grace, we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

¹⁴ Since, then, the children have partaken of flesh and blood, in like manner He Himself also shared the same things, that through death He might cause to cease the one having the power of death, (that is, the Devil);

¹³ For God having made promise to Abraham, since He had no greater to swear by, " He swore by Himself,"

²² by so much Jesus has become Surety of a better covenant.

⁶ But now He has gotten a more excellent ministry, also by so much as He is a Mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises. ⁷ For if that first was faultless, place would not have been sought for a second. ⁸ For finding fault, He said to them, "Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, and I will make an end on the house of Israel and on the house of Judah; a new covenant shall be,

¹³ In the saying, New, He has made the first old. And the thing having been made old and growing aged is near disappearing.

¹⁶ For where a covenant is, the death of him having covenanted must be offered.

³⁶ For you have need of patience, that having done the will of God you may obtain the promise.

¹³ These all died by way of faith, not having received the promises, but seeing them from afar, and being persuaded, and having embraced and confessed that they are aliens and tenants.

²⁴ and to Jesus the Mediator of a new covenant, and to blood of sprinkling speaking better things than that of Abel.

²⁰ Now the God of Peace, He leading up out of the dead, the great Shepherd of the sheep, in the blood of the everlasting covenant, our Lord Jesus,

¹² Blessed is the man who endures temptation, because having been approved he will receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to the ones loving Him.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, He according to His great mercy having regenerated us to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, ⁴ to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, and unfading, having been kept in Heaven for you

¹⁰ Now the God of all grace, the One calling you to His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, you having suffered a little, He Himself will perfect, confirm, strengthen, establish you .

²⁵ And this is the promise which He promised us: everlasting life.

³ And they sing as a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. And no one was able to learn the song except the hundred and forty four thousands, those having been redeemed from the earth. ⁴ These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones following the Lamb wherever He may go. These were redeemed from among men as a firstfruit to God and to the Lamb.

²¹ And Israel said to Joseph, See, I am dying; and God will be with you, and will return you to the land of your fathers.

²⁷ I leave peace to you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be timid.

¹⁵ Brothers, I speak according to man, a covenant having been ratified, even among mankind, no one sets aside or adds to it .

²² And take a bunch of hyssop and dip in the blood in the basin. And touch some of the blood in the basin to the upper doorpost and to the two side doorposts. And you shall not go out, anyone from the door of his house until morning.

³ And Moses came and told all the words of Jehovah to the people, and all the judgments. And all the people answered with one voice and said, We will do all the words which Jehovah has spoken. ⁴ And Moses wrote all the words of Jehovah. And he rose early in the morning and built an altar below the mountain, and twelve memorial pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel. ⁵ And he sent young men of the sons of Israel. And they offered up burnt offerings, and offered sacrifices of bullocks, peace offerings to Jehovah. ⁶ And Moses took half of the blood, and he put it in basins. And he sprinkled half of the blood on the altar. ⁷ And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the ears of the people. And they said We will do all that Jehovah has spoken, and we will hear. ⁸ And Moses took the blood and sprinkled on the people, and said, Behold, the blood of the covenant which Jehovah has cut with you concerning these words.

⁷ For if that first was faultless, place would not have been sought for a second. ⁸ For finding fault, He said to them, "Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, and I will make an end on the house of Israel and on the house of Judah; a new covenant shall be, ⁹ not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day of My taking hold of their hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I did not regard them, says the Lord.

¹⁴ by how much more the blood of Christ (who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God), will purify your conscience from dead works for the serving of the living God!

²² And almost all things are cleansed by blood according to the Law; and apart from shedding of blood no remission occurs.

⁵ And he sent young men of the sons of Israel. And they offered up burnt offerings, and offered sacrifices of bullocks, peace offerings to Jehovah. ⁶ And Moses took half of the blood, and he put it in basins. And he sprinkled half of the blood on the altar. ⁷ And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the ears of the people. And they said We will do all that Jehovah has spoken, and we will hear. ⁸ And Moses took the blood and sprinkled on the people, and said, Behold, the blood of the covenant which Jehovah has cut with you concerning these words. ⁹ And Moses and Aaron went up with Nadab and Abihu, and seventy from the elders of Israel. ¹⁰ And they saw the God of Israel. And under His feet was as the work of a pavement of sapphire, and the same as the heavens for clearness. ¹¹ And He did not stretch out His hand to the nobles of the sons of Israel. And they saw God, and they ate and drank.

² Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, If any one of you brings an offering to Jehovah, from livestock of the herd, or from the flock, you shall bring near your offering. ³ If his offering is out of the herd, a male, a perfect one, he shall bring it to the opening of the tabernacle of the congregation, at his pleasure, before the face of Jehovah.

¹⁰ And if his offering is out of the flock, out of the sheep, or out of the goats, for a burnt offering, a male, a perfect one, he shall bring it near.

⁶ And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offerings is from the flock, male or female, a perfect one, he shall bring it near.

⁴ then the priest shall command, and he shall take for him who is to be cleansed two clean living birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop. ⁵ And the priest shall command, and he shall kill the one bird on an earthen vessel, over running water; ⁶ he shall take the living bird, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the slain bird, over the running water. ⁷ And he shall sprinkle on him who is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean. And he shall send out the living bird into the open field.

⁴⁹ And he shall take two birds for the cleansing of the house, and cedar wood, and scarlet dye, and hyssop; ⁵⁰ and he shall kill the one bird on an earthen vessel, over running water; ⁵¹ and he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and shall dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and shall sprinkle on the house seven times. ⁵² And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet dye;

¹⁴ And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and shall sprinkle with his finger on the front of the mercy-seat eastward. And he shall sprinkle at the front of the mercy-seat seven times from the blood with his finger. ¹⁵ And he shall kill the goat of the sin offering which is the people's, and shall bring in its blood to the inside of the veil, and shall do with its blood as he has done with the blood of the bullock, and shall sprinkle it on the mercy-seat, and at the front of the mercy-seat. ¹⁶ And he shall atone for the sanctuary because of the pollutions of the sons of Israel, and because of their transgressions for all their sins. And so he shall do for the tabernacle of the congregation dwelling in the midst of their pollutions. ¹⁷ And not any man shall be in the tabernacle of the congregation as he goes in to atone in the sanctuary, until he comes out. And he shall atone for himself, and for his house, and for all the congregation of Israel. ¹⁸ And he shall go out to the altar before Jehovah, and shall atone for it. And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and shall put it on the horns of the altar all around.

⁶ And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop and scarlet, and shall cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.

¹⁸ And a clean person shall take hyssop, and shall dip it in the water, and shall sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched the bone, or the slain, or the dead, or the grave.

¹⁵ so He sprinkles from many nations. At Him kings shall shut their mouths; for they will see that which was not told to them; yea, what they had not heard, they will understand.

²⁵ Then I will sprinkle clean waters on you, and you shall be clean. I will cleanse you from all your defilement and from all your idols.

²⁸ And stripping Him, they put a scarlet cloak around Him.

¹⁷ And they put purple on Him, and they plaited and placed a crown of thorns on Him.

²⁰ And when they had mocked Him, they took the purple off Him, and put His own garments on Him. And they led Him out, that they might crucify Him.

² And having plaited a wreath out of thorns, the soldiers put it on His head. And they threw a purple mantle around Him,

⁵ Then Jesus came outside, wearing the thorny wreath and the purple mantle. And he said to them, Behold, the Man!

² according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit to obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you.

⁸ And Moses took the blood and sprinkled on the people, and said, Behold, the blood of the covenant which Jehovah has cut with you concerning these words.

¹² so that you should enter into the covenant of Jehovah your God, and into His oath, which Jehovah your God is making with you today;

⁶ And they went to Joshua, to the camp at Gilgal. And they said to him and to the men of Israel, We have come from a distant land. And now cut a covenant with us.

¹¹ Also you, by the blood of your covenant I have freed your prisoners from the pit; no water is in it.

²⁸ For this is My blood of the New Covenant which concerning many is being poured out for remission of sins.

¹² And you shall take of the bullock's blood and shall put it on the horns of the altar with your finger. And you shall pour out all the blood at the base of the altar.

²⁰ And you shall slaughter the ram; and you shall take of its blood and shall put it on the tip of Aaron's ear, and on the tip of the ear his sons, and on the thumb of the right hand, and on the big toe of their right foot; and you shall sprinkle the blood on the altar all around.

³⁶ And you shall offer a bull of a sin offering daily for atonement; and you shall purify the altar in your making atonement for it; and you shall anoint it to sanctity it.

¹⁵ and one killed it; and Moses took the blood and put it on the horns of the altar all around with his finger, and cleansed the altar; and he poured out the blood at the base of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement on it.

¹⁹ and one killed it, and Moses sprinkled the blood on the altar all around;

⁸ And Aaron drew near to the altar and killed the calf of the sin offering, which is for himself; ⁹ and Aaron's sons brought the blood near to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar. And he poured out the blood at the base of the altar;

¹⁸ And he killed the bullock and the ram, a sacrifice of the peace offerings, which are for the people, and Aaron's sons presented the blood to him, and he sprinkled it on the altar all around;

¹⁴ And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and shall sprinkle with his finger on the front of the mercy-seat eastward. And he shall sprinkle at the front of the mercy-seat seven times from the blood with his finger. ¹⁵ And he shall kill the goat of the sin offering which is the people's, and shall bring in its blood to the inside of the veil, and shall do with its blood as he has done with the blood of the bullock, and shall sprinkle it on the mercy-seat, and at the front of the mercy-seat. ¹⁶ And he shall atone for the sanctuary because of the pollutions of the sons of Israel, and because of their transgressions for all their sins. And so he shall do for the tabernacle of the congregation dwelling in the midst of their pollutions. ¹⁷ And not any man shall be in the tabernacle of the congregation as he goes in to atone in the sanctuary, until he comes out. And he shall atone for himself, and for his house, and for all the congregation of Israel. ¹⁸ And he shall go out to the altar before Jehovah, and shall atone for it. And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and shall put it on the horns of the altar all around. ¹⁹ And he shall sprinkle on it from the blood with his finger seven times, and shall cleanse it, and shall purify it from the uncleannesses of the sons of Israel.

¹⁹ and all the utensils that king Ahaz cast aside in his reign, in his treachery, we have prepared and sanctified; and behold, they are before the altar of Jehovah. ²⁰ And Hezekiah the king rose early and gathered the heads of the city, and went up to the house of Jehovah. ²¹ And they brought in seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven young he goats for a sin offering for the kingdom, and for the holy place, and for Judah. And he commanded the sons of Aaron, the priests, to offer on the altar of Jehovah. ²² And they killed the oxen, and the priests received the blood, and sprinkled the blood on the altar. And they killed the rams, and sprinkled the blood on the altar. And they killed the lambs and sprinkled the blood on the altar.

¹⁸ And He said to me, Son of man, so says the Lord Jehovah: These are the statutes of the altar in the day of its being made to offer on it burnt offerings, and to sprinkle on it blood. ¹⁹ And you shall give to the priests of the Levites, (they who are from the seed of Zadok, who approach to Me), declares the Lord Jehovah, to minister to Me, a bull, a son of the herd, for a sin offering. ²⁰ And you shall take of its blood and put it on its four horns, and on the four corners of the ledge, and on the border all around. And you shall cleanse it and atone for it. ²¹ And you shall take the bull of the sin offering, and he shall burn it at the appointed place of the house outside the sanctuary. ²² And on the second day you shall bring a perfect buck of the goats for a sin offering. And they shall cleanse the altar, as they cleansed it with the bull. ²³ When you have finished cleansing, you shall bring a perfect bull, a son of the herd, and a perfect ram out of the flock. ²⁴ And you shall bring them before Jehovah, and the priests shall throw salt on them, and they shall offer them for a burnt offering to Jehovah. ²⁵ For seven days you shall daily prepare a he goat for a sin offering. And they shall prepare a bull, a son of the herd, and a ram out of the flock, perfect ones . ²⁶ They shall atone seven days for the altar, and cleanse it, and consecrate it .

²⁰ And he shall do with the bullock as he has done to the bullock of the sin offering, so he shall do to it. And the priest shall atone for them; and it shall be forgiven them.

²⁶ And he shall burn it as incense on the altar, with all its fat, as the fat of the sacrifice of the peace offerings. And the priest shall atone for him because of his sin; and it shall be forgiven him.

³⁵ And he shall take off all its fat, as is taken off the fat of the lamb from the sacrifice of peace offerings. And the priest shall burn them as incense on the altar, on the fire offerings of Jehovah. And the priest shall atone for him for his sin which he has sinned; and it is forgiven him.

¹⁰ And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, as by decree. And the priest shall atone for him, because of his sin which he has sinned; and it shall be forgiven him.

¹² And he shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take from it his full handful, the memorial offering, and shall burn it as incense on the altar, on the fire offering of Jehovah; it is a sin offering.

⁷ And the priest shall make atonement for him before Jehovah, and as regards to one thing of all that he has done, it shall be forgiven him, by being guilty in it.

⁶ he shall take the living bird, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the slain bird, over the running water.

¹⁴ And the priest shall take of the blood of the guilt offering; and the priest shall put on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.

²⁵ and he shall kill the lamb of the guilt offering; and the priest shall take of the blood of the guilt offering, and he shall put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.

¹¹ For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar, to atone for your souls; for it is the blood which makes atonement for the soul.

²⁶ Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into His glory?

⁴⁶ and said to them, So it is written, and so the Christ must suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day. No OT passage

³ And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again and will receive you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.

¹⁷ which are a shadow of coming things, but the body is of Christ.

⁵ who serve the pattern of and shadow of heavenly things, even as Moses was divinely warned, being about to make the tabernacle: For He says, "See that you make all things according to the pattern shown to you in the mount." Ex. 25:40

⁹ which was a parable for the present time, according to which both gifts and sacrifices are offered, but as regards conscience, not being able to perfect the one serving, ¹⁰ but only on foods and drinks, and various washings, and fleshly ordinances, until the time of setting things right has been imposed. ¹¹ But Christ having appeared as a High Priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation, ¹² nor through the blood of goats and of calves, but through His own blood, He entered once for all into the Holy of Holies, having procured everlasting redemption.

¹⁰ by which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. ¹¹ And indeed every priest stands day by day ministering, and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. ¹² But He, offering but one sacrifice for sins, "sat down" in perpetuity " at the right hand " of God, ¹³ from then on expecting "until His enemies are placed as a footstool" of His feet. Psa. 110:1 ¹⁴ For by one offering He has perfected in perpetuity the ones being sanctified. ¹⁵ And the Holy Spirit witnesses to us also. For after having said before, ¹⁶ "This is the covenant which I will covenant to them after those days, says the Lord: Giving My laws on their hearts, and I will write them on their minds;" ¹⁷ also He adds, "I will not at all still remember their sins" and their lawless deeds. LXX-Jer. 38:33, 34 MT-Jer. 31:33, 34

¹⁹ but with precious blood of Christ, as of an unblemished and unspotted lamb, ²⁰ indeed having been foreknown before the foundation of the world, but revealed in the last times because of you, ²¹ the ones believing in God through Him, He raising Him from the dead, and giving glory to Him so that your faith and hope may be in God.

¹² And you shall put the two stones on the shoulderpieces of the ephod, stones of remembrance for the sons of Israel. And Aaron shall bear their names before the face of Jehovah, on his two shoulders for a remembrance.

²⁹ And Aaron shall bear the names of the sons of Israel on the breast pocket of judgment on his heart, in his going into the holy place, for a memorial before the face of Jehovah continually.

¹⁸ You have gone up on high; You have led captivity captive; You have received gifts among men; yea, to dwell among the rebellious, O Jehovah God.

¹ And he made me see Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of Jehovah, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.

¹⁹ Then indeed, after speaking to them, the Lord was taken up into Heaven, and sat off the right of God. Psa. 110:1

⁵¹ And it happened as He blessed them, He withdrew from them and was carried into Heaven.

¹⁹ Jesus said to them, Destroy this sanctuary, and in three days I will raise it up. ²⁰ Then the Jews said, This sanctuary was forty six years being built, and do you raise it up in three days? ²¹ But He spoke about the sanctuary of His body.

⁶² Then what if you see the Son of man going up where He was at first?

²⁸ I came out from the Father and have come into the world; I leave the world again and go to the Father.

⁹ And saying these things, as they looked on, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him from their eyes. ¹⁰ And as they were intently looking into the heaven, He having gone, even behold, two men in white clothing stood by them, ¹¹ who also said, Men, Galileans, why do you stand looking up to the heaven? This Jesus, the One being taken from you into the heaven, will come in the way you saw Him going into the heaven.

²¹ whom Heaven truly needs to receive until the times of restoration of all things, of which God spoke through the mouth of all His holy prophets from the age past.

³³ Who will bring any charge against God's elect? God is the One justifying!

²⁰ which He worked in Christ in raising Him from the dead; yea, He seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies, Psa. 110:1 ²¹ far above all principality, and authority, and power, and lordship, and every name being named, not only in this age, but also in the coming age; ²² and He "put all things under His feet" and gave Him to be Head over all things to the church, Psa. 8:6

⁸ Because of this, He says, "Having gone up on high, He led captivity captive," and gave "gifts to men." Psa. 68:18 ⁹ But that He went up, what is it except that He also first came down into the lower parts of the earth? ¹⁰ He that came down is the same who also went up above all the heavens, that He might fill all things. ¹¹ And indeed He gave some to be apostles; and some prophets; and some evangelists; and some pastors and teachers;

² mind the things above, not the things on the earth,

²⁰ where Jesus entered as forerunner for us, having become a High Priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.

²⁵ From this also He is able to save to perfection those who come to God through Him, ever living to intercede on their behalf. ²⁶ For such a High Priest was fitting for us: holy, harmless, undefiled, and separated from sinners, and having become higher than the heavens;

²³ Then it was needful for the figures of the things in the heavens to be cleansed with these; but the heavenly things themselves by better sacrifices than these.

² looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith, Jesus, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, "and sat down at the right" of the throne of God. Psa. 110:1

²² who going into Heaven is at the right of God, the angels, and authorities, and powers being subjected to Him).

¹ My little children, I write these things to you so that you do not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. ² And He is the propitiation relating to our sins, and not relating to ours only, but also relating to all the world.

² And Jehovah said to Moses, Speak to your brother Aaron, and he shall not come in at all times to the sanctuary within the veil, to the front of the mercy-seat. ³ With this Aaron shall come into the sanctuary: with a bullock, a son of the herd, for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering. ⁴ He shall put on a holy linen coat, and linen underpants shall be on his flesh, and he shall gird himself with a linen girdle, and he shall wrap himself in a linen miter; they are holy garments. And he shall bathe his flesh with water and shall put them on. ⁵ And he shall take from the congregation of the sons of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering. ⁶ And Aaron shall bring near the bullock of the sin offering which is his own, and shall make atonement for himself, and for his house. ⁷ And he shall take the two goats and shall cause them to stand before Jehovah, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. ⁸ And Aaron shall give lots over the two goats, one lot for Jehovah, and one lot for a complete removal. ⁹ And Aaron shall bring the goat on which the lot of Jehovah fell and shall make it a sin offering. ¹⁰ And the goat on which the lot fell for a complete removal shall be made to stand living before Jehovah to atone by it, to send it away for a complete removal into the wilderness. ¹¹ And Aaron shall bring the bull of the sin offering which is his own, and shall atone for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bullock of the sin offering which is his own. ¹² And he shall take a censer full of coals of the fire from off the altar before Jehovah, and his hands full of fragrant perfumes beaten small, and bring it within the veil. ¹³ And he shall put the incense on the fire before Jehovah, and the cloud of the incense shall cover the mercy-seat on the testimony; and he shall not die. ¹⁴ And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and shall sprinkle with his finger on the front of the mercy-seat eastward. And he shall send the goat away into the wilderness. ²³ And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall strip off the linen garments which he had put on as he went into the sanctuary, and shall leave them there. ²⁴ And he shall bathe his flesh with water in the sanctuary and shall put on his garments, and shall come out, and shall offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and shall atone for himself and for his people. ²⁵ And he shall burn as incense the fat of the sin offering on the altar. ²⁶ And he who let the goat go for a complete removal shall wash his garments and shall bathe his flesh with water; and later he shall come into the camp. ²⁷ And the bullock of the sin offering, and the goat of the sin offering, whose blood has been brought in to atone in the sanctuary, one shall carry out to the outside of the camp; and they shall burn their skins with fire and their flesh, and their dung. ²⁸ And he burning them shall wash his garments, and shall bathe his flesh with water, and afterwards he shall come into the camp. ²⁹ And it shall be for a never ending statute, in the seventh month, in the tenth of the month, you shall humble yourself and do no work, the native, and the alien who is staying in your midst. ³⁰ For on this day he shall atone for you, to cleanse you from all your sins you shall be clean before Jehovah. ³¹ It is a sabbath of rest to you, and you shall humble yourself. It is a never ending statute. ³² And the priest whom He shall anoint, and whose hand He shall consecrate to act as priest instead of his father, shall make atonement, and shall put on the linen garments, the holy garments. ³³ And he shall atone for the holy sanctuary, and for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar he shall atone; yes, for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation he shall atone. ³⁴ And this shall be to you a never ending statute to atone for the sons of Israel, because of all their sins, once a year. And he did as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

²⁶ since He must often have suffered from the foundation of the world. But now once for all, at the completion of the ages, He has been manifested for putting away of sin through the sacrifice of Himself.

²¹ then Aaron shall lay his two hands on the head of the living goat, and shall confess over it all the iniquities of the sons of Israel, and all their transgressions, and all their sins, and shall put them on the head of the goat, and shall send it by the hand of a chosen man into the wilderness. ²² And the goat shall bear on him all their iniquities to a land cut off. And he shall send the goat away into the wilderness.

¹³ And David said to Nathan, I have sinned against Jehovah. And Nathan said to David, Jehovah also has put away your sin; you shall not die.

¹⁰ And after he had numbered the people, the heart of David struck him. And David said to Jehovah, I have sinned greatly in that which I have done. And now, O Jehovah, I pray, take away the iniquity of your servant, for I have acted very foolishly.

²¹ And why do You not pardon my transgression, and make my iniquity pass away? For now I shall lie down in the dust, and You shall seek me; but I will not be.

² And it shall be in the last days, the mountain of the house of Jehovah shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow into it.

¹⁴ Now I have come to make you understand what shall happen to your people in the latter days. For the vision is yet for many days.

¹ But it shall be in the end of the days, the mountain of the house of Jehovah shall be established on the top of the mountains; and it shall be lifted up from the hills; and peoples shall flow on it.

²⁹ On the morrow, John sees Jesus coming toward him and said, Behold! The Lamb of God, taking away the sin of the world!

²⁴ Father, I desire that those whom You have given Me, that where I am, they may be with Me also, that they may behold My glory which You gave Me, because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

¹¹ And all these things happened to those as examples, and it was written for our warning, on whom the ends of the ages have come.

¹ But I say, Over so long a time the heir is an infant, he being lord of all does not differ from a slave,

² in these last days He spoke to us in the Son, whom He appointed heir of all; through whom He indeed made the ages;

³ For we, the ones believing, enter into the rest, even as He said, "As I swore in My wrath, they shall not enter into My rest," though the works had come into being from the foundation of the world. LXX-Psa. 94:11, MT-Psa. 95:11

¹² But He, offering but one sacrifice for sins, "sat down" in perpetuity " at the right hand " of God,

²⁶ For if we are willfully sinning after receiving the full knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice concerning sins,

²⁰ indeed having been foreknown before the foundation of the world, but revealed in the last times because of you,

⁸ And all those dwelling in the earth will worship it, those of whom the names had not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb having been slain from the foundation of the world.

⁸ The beast which you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss, and goes to perdition. And those dwelling on the earth will marvel, the ones whose names have not been written on the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, seeing the beast, that it was a thing, and is not, yet now is.

¹⁹ By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread until your return to the ground. For you have been taken out of it; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.

¹⁴ For we do surely die and are as water which is spilled on the ground, which cannot be gathered up. And God does not take a life, but has devised plans so that the outcast is not cast out from Him.

⁵ Since his days are fixed, the number of his months is with You, and You have appointed his hounds, and he cannot pass over;

²⁵ For I know my Redeemer is living, and He shall rise on the earth at the last;

²³ For I know that You will bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living.

⁴⁸ What man lives and never sees death? Shall he deliver his soul from the hand of Sheol? Selah.

²⁰ All go to one place; all are of the dust, and all return to the dust.

⁵ For the living know that they shall die; but the dead do not know anything; nor do they have any more a reward, for their memory is forgotten.

¹⁰ All that your hand finds to do, do it with your strength. For there is no work, or planning, or knowledge, or wisdom, in Sheol, there where you go.

⁹ Rejoice, O young man, in your youth. And make your heart glad in the days of your youth, and walk in the ways of your heart, and in the sight of your eyes; but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.

⁷ then the dust shall return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return to God who gave it.

¹⁴ For God shall bring every work into judgment, with all that is hidden, whether it is good, or whether it is evil.

³¹ But when the Son of man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. ³² And before Him shall be gathered all the nations; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. ³³ And indeed He will set the sheep off His right, but the goats off the left hand . ³⁴ Then the King will say to those on His right, Come, the blessed of My Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. ³⁵ For I hungered, and you gave Me food to eat; I thirsted, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you took Me in; ³⁶ naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me. ³⁷ Then the righteous will answer, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry, and fed You; or thirsting, and gave You drink? ³⁸ And when did we see You a stranger, and took You in; or naked, and clothed You ? ³⁹ And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and came to You? ⁴⁰ And answering, the King will say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it to one of these, the least of My brothers, you did it to Me. ⁴¹ Then He will also say to those on His left, Go away from Me, cursed ones, into the everlasting fire having been prepared for the Devil and his angels. ⁴² For I hungered, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I thirsted, and you gave me nothing to drink; ⁴³ I was a stranger, and you did not take Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me. ⁴⁴ Then they also will answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungering, or thirsting, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to You? ⁴⁵ Then He will answer them, saying, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did not do it to one of these, the least, neither did you do it to Me. ⁴⁶ And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into everlasting life.

²⁶ For even as the Father has life in Himself, so He gave also to the Son to have life in Himself. ²⁷ And He also gave authority to Him to execute judgment, for He is the Son of man. ²⁸ Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming in which all those in the tombs will hear His voice. ²⁹ And they will come out, the ones having done good into a resurrection of life; and the ones having practiced evil into a resurrection of judgment.

³¹ because He set a day in which "He is going to judge the habitable world in righteousness," by a Man whom He appointed; having given proof to all by raising Him from the dead. Psa. 9:8

⁵ But according to your hardness and your impenitent heart, do you treasure up to yourself wrath in a day of wrath, and revelation of a righteous judgment of God?

¹² Because of this, even as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so also death passed to all men, inasmuch as all sinned.

⁹ For this Christ both died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord over both the dead and the living. ¹⁰ But why do you judge your brother? Or why also do you despise your brother? For all shall stand before the judgment seat of Christ. ¹¹ For it has been written, " As I live, says the Lord, that every knee will bow to Me, and every tongue confess to God." Isa. 49:18; 45:23 ¹² So then each one of us will give account concerning himself to God.

⁵ Then do not judge anything before time, until the Lord comes, who will both shed light on the hidden things of darkness and will reveal the counsels of the hearts. And then praise will be to each one from God.

¹⁰ For we all must appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive the things done through the body, according to what he did, whether good or bad.

¹ Then I solemnly witness before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, He being about to judge living and dead at His appearance and His kingdom:

¹⁵ "to do judgment against all, and to rebuke all" the ungodly of them concerning all their ungodly works which :they ungodly" did, "and concerning all the hard things ungodly sinners spoke against Him." I Enoch 1:9; 5:4; 60:8

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and the One sitting on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled; and a place was not found for them.

¹⁷ Why have you not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, for it is most holy, and He has given it to you to take away the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before Jehovah?

¹ And Jehovah said to Aaron, You, and your sons, and your father's house with you shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary. And you, and your sons with you, shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood;

²³ But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity; it shall be a never ending statute throughout your generations, that in the midst of the sons of Israel they shall have no inheritance;

⁹ And one shall say in that day, Behold, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is Jehovah; we have waited for Him; we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.

⁴ Surely He has borne our sicknesses, and He carried our pain; yet we esteemed Him plagued, smitten by God, and afflicted. ⁵ But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His wounds we ourselves are healed. ⁶ All we like sheep have gone astray; we have each one turned to his own way; and Jehovah made meet in Him the iniquity of all of us.

⁵ And you shall flee to the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal. And you shall flee as you fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah. And Jehovah my God shall come, and all the saints with You.

¹¹ who also said, Men, Galileans, why do you stand looking up to the heaven? This Jesus, the One being taken from you into the heaven, will come in the way you saw Him going into the heaven.

¹⁵ But the free gift shall not be also like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more the grace of God, and the gift in grace, which is of the one Man, Jesus Christ, did abound to the many.

¹⁰ For in that He died, He died to sin once for all; but in that He lives, He lives to God.

³ For the law being powerless, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh,

²³ And not only so, but also we ourselves having the firstfruit of the Spirit, also we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly expecting adoption, the redemption of our body;

⁷ so that you are not lacking in any gift, awaiting the revelation of our Lord, Jesus Christ,

⁵⁴ But when this corruptible shall put on incorruption, and this mortal shall put on immortality, then will take place the word that has been written, "Death was swallowed up in victory." Isa. 25:8

²⁰ For our citizenship is in Heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, ²¹ who will transform our body of humiliation, for it to be conformed to His body of glory, according to the working of His power, even to put all things under Himself.

¹⁴ For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will also bring with Him all those who have fallen asleep through Jesus. ¹⁵ For we say this to you in the Word of the Lord, that we the living who remain to the coming of the Lord not at all will go before those who have fallen asleep. ¹⁶ Because the Lord Himself shall come down from Heaven with a commanding shout of an archangel's voice, and with God's trumpet. And the dead in Christ will rise again first. ¹⁷ Then we who remain alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to a meeting with the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.

⁵ a clear token of the just judgment of God, for you to be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you indeed suffer; ⁶ since it is a just thing with God to pay back tribulation to the ones troubling you, ⁷ and to give you, those being troubled, relief with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from Heaven with angels of His power, ⁸ in flaming fire giving full vengeance to those not knowing God, and to those not obeying the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, Isa. 66:15; Jer. 10:25 ⁹ who will pay the penalty: everlasting destruction from the face of the Lord, "and from the glory of His strength," Isa. 2:20 ¹⁰ when He comes to be glorified in His saints, and to be admired in all those who believe in that Day, because our testimony to you was believed.

¹ And, brothers, we entreat you, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and of our gathering together to Him,

⁸ For the rest, the crown of righteousness is laid up for me, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me in that Day, and not only to me, but also to all the ones loving His appearance.

¹³ looking for the blessed hope and appearance of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

²⁵ not that often He should offer Himself even as the high priest enters into the Holy of Holies year by year with blood of others;

¹² looking for and hastening the coming of the Day of God, through which the heavens having been set afire will be dissolved; and burning, the elements will melt?

² Beloved, now we are the children of God, and it was not yet revealed what we shall be. But we know that if He is revealed, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is.

⁷ "Behold, He comes with the clouds," and "every eye will see Him, and the ones who pierced" Him, and all the tribes of the earth "will wail on account of Him." Yes, Amen. Dan. 7:13; Zech. 12:10
