¹¹ They will vanish away, but You will continue; and they will all become old, like a garment,

¹⁶ Jehovah is king forever and ever; the nations have perished out of His land.

¹⁰ Jehovah sits upon the flood; yea, Jehovah sits as King forever.

² Before the mountains were born, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting You are God.

⁴ And all the host of the heavens shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together like a scroll. Then all their host shall droop, as a leaf drooping from the vine, and as the drooping from a fig tree.

⁴ Who has planned and done it, calling forth the generations from the beginning? I Jehovah am the first and the last; I am He.

⁶ So says Jehovah, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Jehovah of Hosts: I am the First and I am the last; and there is no God except Me.

⁹ Behold, the Lord Jehovah will help Me; who is He who will condemn Me? Behold, like a garment they shall wear out; the moth shall eat them.

⁶ Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look to the earth beneath; for the heavens vanish like smoke, and the earth shall wear out like a garment; and its inhabitants shall die in the same way, but My salvation shall be forever, and My righteousness shall not be broken.

⁸ For the moth shall eat them like a garment; yea, the moth worm shall eat them like wool. But My righteousness shall be forever, and My salvation to generation to generation.

¹⁷ For, behold, I create new heavens and new earth. And the things before shall not be recalled, and they shall not go up on the heart.

³⁵ The heaven and the earth will pass away, but My words will never ever pass away.

³¹ The heaven and the earth will pass away, but My words will not at all pass away.

³³ The heaven and the earth will pass away, but My words in no way will pass away.

²⁷ Now the words "Yet once" make clear the removal of the things being shaken, as having been made, so that the things not being shaken may remain.

⁷ But the heavens and the earth now, having been stored up by the same word, are being kept for fire to a day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. ⁸ But let not this one thing be hidden from you, beloved, that one day with the Lord is "as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." Psa. 90:4 ⁹ The Lord of the promise is not slow, as some deem slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not having purposed any of us to perish, but all of us to come to repentance. ¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with rushing sound, and having burned the elements will be dissolved, and earth and the works in it will be burned up.

¹¹ saying, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last; also, What you see, write in a scroll, and send to the seven churches of Asia: to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.

¹⁷ And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet, as dead. And He put His right hand on me, saying to me, Do not fear. I am the First and the Last, ¹⁸ and the Living One; and I became dead; and, behold, I am living forever and ever. Amen. And I have the keys to Hades, and of death.

⁸ And to the angel of the church of Smyrna, write: These things says the First and the Last, who became dead, and lived:

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and the One sitting on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled; and a place was not found for them.

¹ And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and the sea no longer is.
