¹² Indeed, because of this, in order that He might sanctify the people by His own blood, Jesus suffered outside the gate.

¹⁹ and I sanctify Myself for them, that they also may be sanctified in truth.

¹⁷ And He went out bearing His cross, to the place called Of a Skull (which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha), ¹⁸ where they crucified Him, and two others with Him, on this side and on that side, and Jesus in the middle.

³⁴ But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a lance, and at once blood and water came out.

⁵⁸ And throwing him outside the city, they stoned him . And the witnesses put off their garments at the feet of a young man called Saul.

¹¹ And some were these things, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

²⁶ that He might sanctify it, cleansing it by the washing of the water in the Word,

¹¹ For both He sanctifying and the ones being sanctified are all of one; for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brothers,

¹² nor through the blood of goats and of calves, but through His own blood, He entered once for all into the Holy of Holies, having procured everlasting redemption. ¹³ For if the blood of bulls and goats, and ashes of a heifer sprinkling those having been defiled, sanctifies to the purity of the flesh, ¹⁴ by how much more the blood of Christ (who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God), will purify your conscience from dead works for the serving of the living God!

¹⁸ From which neither the first covenant was dedicated without blood. ¹⁹ For when every command had been spoken according to Law by Moses to all the people, he took the blood of the calves and goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and he sprinkled both the scroll and all the people,

²⁹ How much worse punishment do you think will be thought worthy to receive, the one trampling the Son of God, and having counted common the blood of the covenant in which he was sanctified, and having insulted the Spirit of grace?

⁶ This is the One coming through water and blood, Jesus Christ; not by the water only, but by the water and the blood. And the Spirit is the One witnessing, because the Spirit is the truth. ⁷ For there are three bearing witness in Heaven: the Father the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. ⁸ And there are three who bear witness on the earth: The Spirit, and the water, and the blood; and the three are to the one.
