⁵ And now do not be grieved, and let no anger be in your eyes because you sold me here for God sent me before you to save life.

⁷ And God sent me before you to put a remnant in the land for you, and to keep alive for you a great deliverance. ⁸ And now you did not send me here, but God. And He has placed me for a father to Pharaoh, and for a lord in all his house, and a ruler in all the land of Egypt.

²⁵ And they said, You have saved our lives; let us find favor in the eyes of my lord, and we will become slaves to Pharaoh.

²⁰ And you, you intended evil against me, but God meant it for good, in order to make it as it is this day, to keep a great many people alive.

¹⁹ And they rose up early in the morning and worshiped before Jehovah. And they went back and came to their house in Ramah. And Elkanah knew his wife Hannah, and Jehovah remembered her.

¹² For you acted in secret, but I will do this thing before all Israel and before the sun.

¹⁰ And the king said, What have I to do with you, sons of Zeruiah? For let him curse, even because Jehovah has said to him, Curse David. And who shall say, Why have you done so? ¹¹ And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son who came out of my loins is seeking my life, and surely now also the Benjamite. ¹⁴ And Absalom and all the men of Israel said, The counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than the counsel of Ahithophel. And Jehovah had ordained to break down the good counsel of Ahithophel, for the sake of bringing the evil of Jehovah to Absalom.

²¹ And he said, I came naked out of my mother's womb, and naked I shall return there. Jehovah gave, and Jehovah has taken away. Blessed be the name of Jehovah.

¹⁶ And He called a famine on the land; He broke the whole staff of bread. ¹⁷ He sent a man before them, Joseph, being sold for a slave;

¹ Comfort, O comfort My people, says your God. ² Speak lovingly to the heart of Jerusalem; yea, cry to her that her warfare is done, that her iniquity is pardoned; for she has taken from the hand of Jehovah double for all her sins.

³⁴ And Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. And dividing His garments, they cast a lot. Psa. 22:18

²³ this One given to you by the before-determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, you having taken by lawless hands, having crucified Him, you put Him to death. ²⁴ But God raised Him up, loosing the throes of death, because it was not possible for Him to be held by it.

⁹ And being jealous of Joseph, the patriarchs sold him into Egypt. But God was with him, ¹⁰ and plucked him out from all his afflictions, and gave him favor and wisdom before Pharaoh the king of Egypt. And Pharaoh appointed him governor over Egypt and all his household. ¹¹ But a famine came over all the land of Egypt and Canaan, and great affliction. And our fathers did not find food. ¹² But hearing grain was in Egypt, Jacob sent our fathers out first. ¹³ And at the second time, Joseph was made known to his brothers, and Joseph's race became known to Pharaoh. ¹⁴ And sending, Joseph called his father Jacob and all his kindred, "seventy five" "souls" "in all ". Gen. 46:27 ¹⁵ And Jacob went down into Egypt and expired, he and our fathers.

⁷ So that on the contrary, you should rather forgive and comfort such a one, that he not be swallowed up by the overflowing grief.

¹¹ so that we should not be overreached by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his devices.
