¹ A Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to Him to show to His slaves things which must occur quickly. And He signified by sending through His angel to His slave, John, ² who testified of the Word of God and the witness of Jesus Christ, even as many things as he saw. ³ Blessed is the one reading, and those hearing the words of this prophecy, and keeping the things having been written; for the time is near. ⁴ John to the seven churches in Asia: Grace to you, and peace, from the One who is, and who was, and who is coming, and from the seven spirits which are before His throne; ⁵ even from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the First-born out of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him loving us and washing us from our sins by His blood, ⁶ and made us kings and priests to God, even His Father. To Him is the glory and the might forever and ever. Amen. ⁷ "Behold, He comes with the clouds," and "every eye will see Him, and the ones who pierced" Him, and all the tribes of the earth "will wail on account of Him." Yes, Amen. Dan. 7:13; Zech. 12:10 ⁸ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, says the Lord, the One who is, and who was, and who is coming, the Almighty. ⁹ I, even your brother John, and co-sharer in the affliction, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, came to be in the island being called Patmos because of the Word of God, and because of the witness of Jesus Christ. ¹⁰ I came to be in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, ¹¹ saying, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last; also, What you see, write in a scroll, and send to the seven churches of Asia: to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea. ¹² And I turned to see the voice which spoke with me. ¹³ And having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of man, having been clothed to the feet, and having been girded with a golden girdle at the breasts. ¹⁴ And the hairs of His head were white as white wool, as snow, and His eyes as a flame of fire; ¹⁵ and His feet like burnished brass having been fired in a furnace; and His voice as a sound of many waters; ¹⁶ and having in His right hand seven stars; and a sharp, two-edged sword proceeding out of His mouth, and His face shining as the sun in its power. ¹⁷ And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet, as dead. And He put His right hand on me, saying to me, Do not fear. I am the First and the Last, ¹⁸ and the Living One; and I became dead; and, behold, I am living forever and ever. Amen. And I have the keys to Hades, and of death. ¹⁹ Write what things you saw, and what things are, and what things are about to occur after these things. ²⁰ The mystery of the seven stars which you saw on My right, and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands you saw are seven churches.

¹⁴ The secret of Jehovah is with those who fear Him; and He will make them know His covenant.

²⁸ But there is a God in Heaven who reveals secrets, and makes known to king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head on your bed, are these: ²⁹ As for you, O king, your thoughts came on your bed, what should happen after this. And He who reveals secrets makes known to you what shall occur.

¹⁶ And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, and he called and said, Gabriel, make this one understand the vision.

²¹ And while I was setting my prayer in order, then the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, touched me in my severe exhaustion about the time of the evening sacrifice.

²³ At the beginning of your prayers the word came forth, and I have come to explain it . For you are greatly beloved. Then understand the matter and pay attention to the vision:

⁷ For the Lord Jehovah will do nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

³² And what He has seen and heard, this He testifies, and no one receives His testimony.

²⁶ I have many things to say and to judge concerning you; but the One sending Me is true, and what I heard from Him, these things I say to the world.

⁴⁹ For I did not speak from Myself, but He who sent Me, the Father, He has given Me command, what I should say, and what I should speak.

¹⁵ I no longer call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his lord does. But I called you friends, because all things which I heard from My Father I made known to you.

⁸ For the words which You gave to Me, I have given to them. And they received and truly knew that I came out from beside You, and they believed that You sent Me.

²⁵ Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel, and the proclaiming of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery having been kept unvoiced during eternal times,

¹² For I did not receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but by a revelation of Jesus Christ.

³ that by revelation He made known to me the mystery, as I wrote before in brief,

³ Blessed is the one reading, and those hearing the words of this prophecy, and keeping the things having been written; for the time is near. ⁴ John to the seven churches in Asia: Grace to you, and peace, from the One who is, and who was, and who is coming, and from the seven spirits which are before His throne;

⁹ I, even your brother John, and co-sharer in the affliction, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, came to be in the island being called Patmos because of the Word of God, and because of the witness of Jesus Christ.

¹⁹ Write what things you saw, and what things are, and what things are about to occur after these things.

¹ After these things I saw. And behold, a door being opened in Heaven! And I heard the first voice as a trumpet speaking with me, saying, Come up here, and I will show you what needs to happen after these things.

² And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God, having been prepared as a bride, having been adorned for her Husband.

⁶ And he said to me, These words are faithful and true. And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His slaves what must happen quickly.

¹⁶ I, Jesus, sent My angel to testify these things to you over the churches. I am the Root and Offspring of David, the bright and morning Star.

³² And John witnessed, saying, I have seen the Spirit coming down as a dove out of Heaven, and He abode on Him.

¹¹ Truly, truly, I say to you, That which we know, we speak; and that which we have seen, we testify. And you do not receive our testimony.

¹⁷ Then the crowd which was with Him when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead, witnessed.

³⁵ And the one seeing has borne witness and his witness is true; and that one knows that he speaks truly, that you may believe.

²⁴ This is the disciple witnessing about these other things, writing these things, and we know that his witness is true.

²⁰ For we are not able not to speak what we saw and heard.

¹⁵ for you shall be a witness for Him to all men of what you have seen and heard.

¹⁶ but rise up and stand on your feet, for it is for this reason I appeared to you, to appoint you a servant and a witness both of what you saw, and in what I shall appear to you,

⁶ even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you,

¹ And when I came to you, brothers, I did not come with excellency of word or wisdom, declaring to you the testimony of God.

¹ We announce to you what was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we beheld, and what our hands touched, as regards the Word of Life.

¹⁴ And we have beheld and bear witness that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.

⁷ For there are three bearing witness in Heaven: the Father the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. ⁸ And there are three who bear witness on the earth: The Spirit, and the water, and the blood; and the three are to the one. ⁹ If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; because this is the witness of God which He has witnessed about His Son: ¹⁰ The one believing in the Son of God has the witness in himself. The one not believing God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the witness which God has witnessed concerning His Son. ¹¹ And this is the witness: that God gave us everlasting life, and this life is in His Son.

¹² Witness has been borne to Demetrius by all, and by the truth itself. And we also bear witness, and you know that our witness is true.

⁹ And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those having been slain for the word of God, and for the witness which they had.

¹¹ And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony. And they did not love their soul even until death.

¹⁷ And the dragon was enraged over the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, those keeping the commandments of God, and having the testimony of Jesus Christ.

³⁴ Blessed is the man listening to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

¹² Blessed is he who waits and comes to the thousand, three hundred and thirty five days. ¹³ But you go on to the end, for you shall rest and stand for your lot at the end of the days.

²⁸ But He said, No; rather, blessed are those hearing the Word of God, and keeping it.

¹¹ Also this, knowing the time, that it is now the hour for you to be aroused from sleep, for now our salvation is nearer than when we believed.

⁸ You also be long-suffering. Set your hearts firmly, because the coming of the Lord has drawn near. ⁹ Do not murmur against one another, brothers, that you not be condemned. Behold, the Judge stands before the door.

⁷ But the end of all things has drawn near. Be of sound mind, then, and be sensible to prayers;

⁸ But let not this one thing be hidden from you, beloved, that one day with the Lord is "as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." Psa. 90:4

⁶ And he said to me, These words are faithful and true. And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His slaves what must happen quickly. ⁷ Behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is the one keeping the words of the prophecy of this Book.

¹⁰ And he said to me, Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this Book, because the time is near.

¹² And, behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to each as his work is.

²⁰ The One testifying these things says, Yes, I am coming quickly. Amen. Yes, come, Lord Jesus!

¹⁴ And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM; and He said, you shall say this to the sons of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.

² Before the mountains were born, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting You are God.

²⁵ You have laid the foundation of the earth of old; and the heavens are the work of Your hands. ²⁶ They shall perish, but You shall endure; yea, all of them shall become old like a garment; You shall change them like clothing, and they shall be changed. ²⁷ But You are He, and Your years shall not be ended.

² And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest on Him; He will have the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and power, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah.

⁴ Who has planned and done it, calling forth the generations from the beginning? I Jehovah am the first and the last; I am He.

¹⁵ For so says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, and His name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, even with the contrite and humble of spirit; to make live the spirit of the humble and to make live the heart of the contrite ones.

² And you, Bethlehem Ephratah, being least among the thousands of Judah, out of you He shall come forth to Me to become Ruler in Israel; and His goings forth have been from of old, from the days of eternity.

⁹ For, behold, I will bring forth My Servant, the BRANCH. For behold, the stone which I have given before Joshua, on the one stone are seven eyes. I will engrave its engraving, says Jehovah of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

¹⁰ For who has despised the day of small things? For they shall rejoice and shall see the plummet stone in the hand of Zerubbabel. These seven are the eyes of Jehovah; they run to and fro through all the earth.

⁵ And the angel answered and said to me, These are the four spirits of Heaven who go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

¹⁰ And this happened over two years, so as all those living in Asia heard the Word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

⁷ to all those who are in Rome, beloved of God, called-out saints, Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

³ Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

⁴ And there are differences of gifts, but the same Spirit; ⁵ and there are differences of ministries, yet the same Lord. ⁶ And there are differences of workings, but the same God is working all things in all. ⁷ And to each one is given the showing forth of the Spirit to our profit. ⁸ For through the Spirit is given to one a word of wisdom, and to another a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; ⁹ and to another, faith by the same Spirit, and to another, gifts of healing by the same Spirit, ¹⁰ and to another, workings of powers, and to another, prophecy, and to another, discerning of spirits, and to another, kinds of languages, and to another, interpretation of languages. ¹¹ But the one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing separately to each as He wills. ¹² Even as the body is one, and has many members, but all the members of the one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. ¹³ For also we all were baptized by one Spirit into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, even all were given to drink into one Spirit.

² Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁰ And, "You, Lord, at the beginning founded the earth, and the heavens are works of Your hands. ¹¹ They will vanish away, but You will continue; and they will all become old, like a garment, ¹² and You shall fold them up like a covering, and they shall be changed. But You are the same, and Your years shall not fail." LXX-Psa. 101:26-28, MT-Psa. 102:25-27 ¹³ But to which of the angels did He ever say, "Sit at My right hand until I place Your enemies as a footstool of Your feet?" LXX-Psa. 109:1, MT-Psa. 110:1

⁸ Jesus Christ, the same yesterday and today and forever.

¹⁷ every act of good giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom is no change or shadow of turning.

¹ Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the elect sojourners of the dispersion of Pontus, of Galatia, of Cappadocia, of Asia, and of Bithynia, ² according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit to obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you.

⁸ And to the angel of the church of Smyrna, write: These things says the First and the Last, who became dead, and lived:

¹² And to the angel of the church in Pergamos, write: These things says the One having the sharp, two-edged sword:

¹⁸ And to the angel of the church in Thyatira, write: These things says the Son of God, the One having His eyes as a flame of fire, and His feet like burnished brass:

¹ And to the angel of the church in Sardis, write: These things says the One having the seven spirits of God, and the seven stars: I know your works, that you have the name that you live, and are dead.

⁷ And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia, write: These things says the Holy One, the True One, the One having "the key of David," "the One opening, and no one shuts; and shuts, and no one opens:" Isa. 22:22

¹⁴ And to the angel of the church of Laodicea, write: These things says the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Head of the creation of God:

⁵ And out of the throne come forth lightnings and thunders and voices. And seven lamps of fire are burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God;

⁸ And the four living creatures each one had six wings around, and within being full of eyes. And they had no rest day and night, saying, "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty," the One who was, and is, and is coming! Isa. 6:3

⁶ And I saw, and behold, in the midst of the throne, and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, was a Lamb standing, as having been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, having been sent out into all the earth.

⁸ But because Jehovah loved you, and because He kept the oath which He swore to your fathers, Jehovah has caused you to go out with a strong hand, and redeemed you from the house of slaves, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

⁵ But Jehovah your God would not listen to Balaam, and Jehovah your God turned the curse into a blessing to you, because Jehovah your God loved you.

¹¹ Yea, all kings shall fall down before Him; all nations shall serve Him.

²⁷ And I will make him My first-born, higher than the kings of the earth.

³⁶ His seed shall be forever, and his throne as the sun before Me. ³⁷ Like the moon, it shall be forever; and a faithful witness in the sky. Selah.

¹⁵ By me kings reign, and princes decree righteousness. ¹⁶ Rulers and nobles rule by me, and all the judges of the earth.

⁴ Behold, I gave Him a Witness to peoples, a Leader and Commander of peoples.

² And the king said to call to the horoscopists, and to the conjurers, and to the sorcerers and to the Chaldeans, to tell to the king his dreams. And they came and stood before the king.

¹⁴ And dominion was given to Him, and glory, and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

¹ In that day a fountain shall be opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for impurity.

¹⁸ And coming up Jesus talked with them, saying, All authority in Heaven and on earth was given to Me.

¹⁴ Jesus answered and said to them, Even if I witness concerning Myself, My witness is true; for I know from where I came, and where I go. But you do not know from where I came, and where I go. ¹⁵ You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one. ¹⁶ But even if I judge, My judgment is true, because I am not alone, but I and the Father who sent Me.

¹ And before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He should move from this world to the Father, loving His own in the world, He loved them to the end.

⁸ Peter said to Him, You may in no way wash my feet to the age. Jesus answered him, Unless I wash you, you have no part with Me. ⁹ Simon Peter said to Him, Lord, not my feet only, but also the hands and the head. ¹⁰ Jesus said to him, The one having been bathed has no need other than to wash the feet, but is wholly clean. And you are clean, but not all.

³⁴ I give a new commandment to you, that you should love one another; according as I loved you, you should also love one another.

⁹ As the Father loved Me, I also loved you; continue in My love.

³⁷ Then Pilate said to Him, Are you really a king? Jesus answered, You say that I am a king. For this purpose I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I might witness to the Truth. Everyone being of the Truth hears My voice.

²⁸ Then take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit placed you as overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased through His own blood.

²³ that Christ was to suffer, that by a resurrection of the dead He was first going to proclaim light to the people and to the nations.

³⁷ But in all these things we more than conquer through Him loving us.

¹¹ And some were these things, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

²⁰ But now Christ has been raised from the dead; He became the firstfruit of those having fallen asleep. ²¹ For since death is through man, also through a Man is a resurrection of the dead; ²² for as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. ²³ But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruit, afterward those of Christ at His coming.

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; yet no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith toward the Son of God, the One loving me and giving Himself over on my behalf.

²⁰ which He worked in Christ in raising Him from the dead; yea, He seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies, Psa. 110:1 ²¹ far above all principality, and authority, and power, and lordship, and every name being named, not only in this age, but also in the coming age; ²² and He "put all things under His feet" and gave Him to be Head over all things to the church, Psa. 8:6

⁴ But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

² and walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up on its behalf, ²⁶ that He might sanctify it, cleansing it by the washing of the water in the Word, ²⁷ that He might present it to Himself as the glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such things, but that it be holy and without blemish.

¹⁸ And He is the Head of the body, the church, who is the Beginning, the First-born from the dead, that He be preeminent in all things;

¹³ I charge you before God, He making all things alive, and Christ Jesus, He witnessing the good confession to Pontius Pilate,

¹⁵ who in His own time will reveal the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords,

¹⁴ by how much more the blood of Christ (who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God), will purify your conscience from dead works for the serving of the living God!

¹⁹ but with precious blood of Christ, as of an unblemished and unspotted lamb,

⁷ But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of His Son Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.

¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be a propitiation relating to our sins.

⁷ For there are three bearing witness in Heaven: the Father the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. ⁸ And there are three who bear witness on the earth: The Spirit, and the water, and the blood; and the three are to the one. ⁹ If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; because this is the witness of God which He has witnessed about His Son: ¹⁰ The one believing in the Son of God has the witness in himself. The one not believing God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the witness which God has witnessed concerning His Son.

¹⁴ And I said to him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are those coming out of the great tribulation; and they washed their robes and whitened them in the blood of the Lamb.

¹⁵ And the seventh angel trumpeted. And there were great voices in Heaven, saying, The kingdoms of the world became our Lord's, even of His Christ; and He shall reign forever and ever.

¹⁴ These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and the ones with Him are the called and elect and faithful ones.

¹⁶ And He has on His garment and on His thigh a name having been written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

⁶ And you shall become a kingdom of priests for Me, a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak to the sons of Israel.

¹⁸ Blessed is Jehovah God, the God of Israel, who alone does wonderful things. ¹⁹ And blessed is His glorious name forever; and the whole earth is filled with His glory! Amen and amen!

⁶ But you shall be called, Priests of Jehovah; it will be said of you, Ministers of our God. You shall eat the riches of the nations, and you shall revel in their glory.

³⁴ And at the end of the days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to the heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High. And I praised and honored Him who lives forever, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His rule from generation to generation.

¹³ And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil, for Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory to the ages. Amen.

²³ so that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. The one not honoring the Son does not honor the Father who has sent Him.

³⁶ Because of Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.

⁶ that with one accord and with one mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹¹ and "every tongue should confess" that Jesus Christ is "Lord," to the glory of God the Father. Isa. 45:23

¹⁶ the only One having immortality, living in light that cannot be approached, whom no one of men saw, nor can see; to whom be honor and everlasting might. Amen.

²¹ perfect you in every good work, in order to do His will, doing in you that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

⁵ you also as living stones are being built a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. ⁶ Because of this, it is also contained in the Scripture: "Behold," I lay in Zion" an elect, "precious Stone," "a Corner-foundation;" "and the one believing in Him shall never in any way be ashamed." Isa. 28:16 ⁷ Then to you who believe belongs the preciousness. But to disobeying ones, He is the "Stone which those building rejected; this One became the Head-of-the-corner," Psa. 118:22 ⁸ and a Stone-of-stumbling, and a Rock-of-offense" to those disobeying, stumbling at the word, to which they were also appointed. Isa. 8:14 ⁹ But you are "an elect race," "a royal priesthood," "a holy nation," "a people for possession," so that "you may openly speak of the virtues" of the One who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; LXX-Ex. 23:22; MT-Ex. 19:5, 6

¹¹ If anyone speaks, let it be as the words of God; if anyone ministers, as by strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ; to whom is the glory and the might forever and ever. Amen.

¹¹ To Him be the glory and the might forever and ever. Amen.

¹⁸ But grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

²⁵ to the only wise God, our Savior, be glory and majesty and might and authority, even now and forever. Amen.

¹¹ Lord, You are worthy to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because You created all things, and through Your will they exist and were created.

¹⁰ and made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign over the earth.

¹² saying with a great voice, Worthy is the Lamb having been slain to receive the power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. ¹³ And every creature which is in Heaven, and in the earth, and underneath the earth, and the things that are on the sea, and the things in all of them, I heard saying: To Him sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb be the blessing and the honor and the glory and the might forever and ever. ¹⁴ And the four living creatures said, Amen. And the twenty four elders fell down and worshiped the One living forever and ever.

⁶ Blessed and holy is the one having part in the first resurrection. The second death has no authority over these, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him a thousand years.

¹⁷ I shall see him, but not now; I shall behold him, but not near. A star shall come forth out of Jacob, and a scepter shall rise out of Israel and shall dash the corners of Moab, and break down all the sons of tumult.

³¹ So all Your enemies shall perish, O Jehovah, and those who love Him shall be as the sun when it goes forth in its might. And the land had rest forty years.

²⁶ and after my skin has been struck off from my flesh, yet this, I shall see God, ²⁷ whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and no stranger; though my reins be exhausted in my bosom.

²⁶ He will pray to God, and He will accept him, and he will see His face with exultation; for He will restore to man his righteousness.

¹⁶ and You appoint Me to the dust of death; for dogs have encircled Me; band of spoilers have hemmed Me in, piercers of My hands and My feet.

¹ To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. A Song. God rises up and His enemies are scattered; and those who hate Him flee from His face.

² Clouds and darkness are all around Him; righteousness and judgment are the foundation of His throne.

¹ The burden of Egypt: Behold! Jehovah rides on a light cloud and comes into Egypt. And the idols of Egypt shall tremble from before Him; and the heart of Egypt shall melt in its midst.

¹³ I was looking in the night visions. And behold! One like the Son of Man came with the clouds of the heavens. And He came to the Ancient of Days. And they brought Him near before Him.

³ Jehovah takes long to anger, and is great of power, and He does not by any means acquit the guilty . Jehovah has His way in the tempest and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet.

¹⁰ And I will pour on the house of David, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of prayers. And they shall look on Me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they shall be bitter over Him, like the bitterness over the first-born.

³⁰ And then the sign of the Son of man will appear in the heavens. And then all the tribes of the land will wail. And they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and much glory. Dan. 7:13

⁶⁴ Jesus said to him, You said it . I tell you more. From this time you shall see the Son of man sitting off the right hand of power, and coming on the clouds of the heavens. Psa. 110:1; LXX-Dan. 7:13

²⁸ And turning to them, Jesus said, Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep over Me, but weep over yourselves and over your children. ²⁹ For behold, days will come in which they will say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that did not bear, and breasts that did not suckle. ³⁰ "Then they will begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us! And to the hills, Cover us!" Hosea 10:8

³⁴ But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a lance, and at once blood and water came out.

³⁷ And again, a different Scripture says, "They shall look at Him whom they have pierced." Zech. 12:10

⁹ And saying these things, as they looked on, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him from their eyes. ¹⁰ And as they were intently looking into the heaven, He having gone, even behold, two men in white clothing stood by them, ¹¹ who also said, Men, Galileans, why do you stand looking up to the heaven? This Jesus, the One being taken from you into the heaven, will come in the way you saw Him going into the heaven.

¹⁰ and to await His Son from Heaven, whom He raised from the dead, Jesus, the One delivering us from the wrath to come.

¹⁷ Then we who remain alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to a meeting with the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.

⁶ then falling away, it is impossible for them again to renew to repentance, crucifying again for themselves the Son of God, and putting Him to open shame.

²⁹ How much worse punishment do you think will be thought worthy to receive, the one trampling the Son of God, and having counted common the blood of the covenant in which he was sanctified, and having insulted the Spirit of grace?

² Beloved, now we are the children of God, and it was not yet revealed what we shall be. But we know that if He is revealed, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is.

¹⁴ And "the seventh from Adam," Enoch, also prophesied to these men, saying, Behold, "the Lord came with" myriads "of His saints,"

¹⁵ And the kings of the earth, and the great ones, and the rich ones, and the commanders, and the powerful ones, and every slave, and every freeman hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains. ¹⁶ And "they said to the mountains" and to the rocks, "Fall on us," and hide us from the face of the One sitting on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, Hos. 10:8 ¹⁷ because the great day of His wrath has come; and who is able to stand?

¹⁴ And I saw; and behold, a white cloud and on the cloud One sitting, like the Son of man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. ¹⁵ And another angel went forth out of the temple, crying in a great voice to the One sitting on the cloud, Send Your sickle and reap, because Your hour to reap came, because the harvest of the earth was dried. ¹⁶ And the One sitting on the cloud thrust His sickle onto the earth, and the earth was reaped.

¹⁵ The merchants of these things, the ones being enriched from her, will stand from afar because of the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning; ¹⁶ and saying, Woe! Woe to the great city having been clothed in linen and purple and scarlet, and having been gilded with gold and precious stone, and pearls! ¹⁷ For in one hour such great wealth was desolated. And every ship-pilot and all company on the ships, and sailors, and as many as work the sea, stood from afar, ¹⁸ and cried out, seeing the smoke of her burning, saying, What is like the great city? ¹⁹ And they threw dust on their heads, and cried out, weeping and mourning, saying, Woe! Woe to the great city, by which all those having ships in the sea were rich, from her costliness, because in one hour she was ruined. ²⁰ Rejoice over her, Heaven, and the holy apostles, and the prophets, because God judged your judgment on her.

¹ And after these things, I heard a great voice of a numerous crowd in Heaven, saying, Hallelujah! The salvation and the glory and the honor and the power of the Lord our God! ² For true and righteous are His judgments, because He judged the great harlot who defiled the earth with her fornication. And He avenged the blood of His slaves out of her hand. ³ And secondly they said, Hallelujah! Also her smoke goes up forever and ever.

⁴ And they will see His face; and His name will be on their foreheads.

¹ And when Abram was ninety nine years old, Jehovah appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the Almighty God! Walk before me and be perfect;

³ And may God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful, and add to you; and may you become an assembly of nations.

¹¹ And God said to him, I am God Almighty; be fruitful and multiply. A nation and a company of nations shall be from you. And kings shall go forth from your loins.

¹⁴ And may God Almighty give mercy to you before the man; and may he send your other brother to you, and Benjamin. And I, if am bereaved, I am bereaved.

³ And Jacob said to Joseph, God Almighty appeared to me in Luz in the land of Canaan and blessed me,

²⁵ From the God of your father, may He help you. And may the Almighty bless you with blessings of Heaven from above, blessings of the deep that lies beneath, blessings of the breasts and womb.

³ And I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty, and by My name JEHOVAH I never made Myself known to them.

⁴ the saying of him who hears the words of God, who sees the vision of the Almighty, fallen down, yet with open eyes:

⁶ For a Child is born; to us a Son is given; and the government is on His shoulder; and His name is called Wonderful, Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.

¹⁰ You are My witnesses, says Jehovah; and My servant whom I have chosen; that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed; nor shall any be after Me.

⁶ So says Jehovah, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Jehovah of Hosts: I am the First and I am the last; and there is no God except Me.

¹² Listen to Me, O Jacob, and Israel My called: I am He; I am the first; I surely am the last.

¹⁸ "And I will be a Father to you, and you will be sons" and daughters to Me, says the Lord Almighty. 2 Sam. 7:8, 14; Isa. 43:6

⁴ John to the seven churches in Asia: Grace to you, and peace, from the One who is, and who was, and who is coming, and from the seven spirits which are before His throne;

¹⁷ And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet, as dead. And He put His right hand on me, saying to me, Do not fear. I am the First and the Last,

¹⁷ saying, We thank You, Lord God Almighty, the One who is, and who was, and who is coming, because You took Your great power and reigned.

¹⁴ For they are spirits of demons doing signs, which go forth to the kings of the earth, even of the whole habitable world to assemble them to the war of that day, the great day of God Almighty.

¹⁵ And out of His mouth goes forth a sharp sword, that with it He might smite the nations. And He will shepherd them with an iron rod. And He treads the winepress of the wine of the anger and of the wrath of God Almighty.

⁶ And He said to me, It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending. To the one thirsting, I will freely give of the fountain of the water of life.

²² And I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty is its temple, even the Lamb.

¹³ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, the First and the Last.

³³ I have spoken these things to you that you may have peace in Me. You have distress in the world; but be encouraged, I have overcome the world.

²² confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting to continue in the faith, and that through many afflictions we must enter into the kingdom of God.

⁷ everlasting life truly to those who with patience in good work are seeking glory and honor and incorruptibility; ⁸ but to those even disobeying the truth, out of self interest, and obeying unrighteousness, will be anger and wrath,

³ And not only so, but we glory also in afflictions, knowing that affliction works out patience, ⁴ and patience works out proven character; and proven character, hope.

¹⁷ And if children, also heirs; truly heirs of God, and joint-heirs of Christ, if indeed we suffer together, that we may also be glorified together.

²⁵ But if we hope for what we do not see, through patience we wait eagerly.

⁹ For I think that God set us out last, the apostles, as appointed to death, because we became a spectacle to the world, even to angels and to men. ¹⁰ We are fools for the sake of Christ, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are honored, but we not honored. ¹¹ Until the present hour we also hunger and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and wander homeless, ¹² and labor, working with our own hands. Being cursed, we bless; persecuted, we bear; ¹³ defamed, we entreat. we have become as filth of the world, dirt wiped off by all until now.

⁷ as it is righteous for me to think this of you all because you have me in your heart, both in my bonds and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you are all sharers of the grace with me.

¹⁴ Yet you did well in sharing my troubles.

⁴ so as for us to boast ourselves in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions, and the afflictions which you endure, ⁵ a clear token of the just judgment of God, for you to be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you indeed suffer;

⁵ And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.

⁸ Then do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me, His prisoner. But suffer hardship with the gospel, according to the power of God,

³ Then you suffer hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. ⁴ No one serving as a soldier entangles himself with the affairs of this life, so that he might please the one enlisting him . ⁵ And also if anyone competes, he is not crowned unless he competes lawfully. ⁶ It is right the laboring farmer to partake first of the fruits. ⁷ Consider what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in all things. ⁸ Remember Jesus Christ, having been raised from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my gospel, ⁹ in which I suffer ill as an evildoer, unto bonds; but the Word of God has not been bound. ¹⁰ Because of this, I endure all things on account of the elect, that they also may obtain salvation in Christ Jesus, with everlasting glory. ¹¹ Faithful is the Word: for if we died with Him, we also shall live with Him; ¹² if we endure, we shall also reign with Him; if we deny Him, that One will deny us;

³⁶ For you have need of patience, that having done the will of God you may obtain the promise.

⁷ Therefore, brothers, be long-suffering until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being long-suffering over it until it may receive the early and the latter rain. ⁸ You also be long-suffering. Set your hearts firmly, because the coming of the Lord has drawn near.

² who testified of the Word of God and the witness of Jesus Christ, even as many things as he saw.

⁹ I know your works, and the affliction, and the poverty; but you are rich. And I know the evil speaking of those saying themselves to be Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. ¹⁰ Do not at all fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the Devil is about to throw you into prison, so that you may be tried; and you will have affliction ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

¹⁰ Because you kept the word of My patience, I also will keep you out of the hour of trial which is going to come on all the habitable world in order to try those dwelling on the earth.

⁷ And when they complete their witness, the beast coming up out of the abyss will make war with them, and will overcome them, and will kill them.

¹⁰ If anyone gathers captivity, into captivity he goes. If anyone will kill by a sword, by a sword he must be killed. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

¹² Here is the patience of the saints; here are the ones keeping the commands of God, and the faith of Jesus.

¹⁰ And I fell before his feet to worship him, but he said to me, Behold! Stop! I am a fellow-slave of yours, and of your brothers, having the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

⁴³ He said to them, Then how does David in Spirit call Him Lord, saying,

¹⁹ Then it being evening on that day, the first of the sabbaths, and the doors having been locked where the disciples were assembled, because of fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst and said to them, Peace to you.

²⁶ And after eight days, His disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. The door having been locked, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said, Peace to you.

¹⁰ And he became hungry and wished to taste food . But as they were preparing, an ecstasy fell on him. ¹¹ And he saw the heaven being opened and a certain vessel like a great sheet coming down on him, being bound by four corners, and let down onto the earth; ¹² in which were all the four-footed animals of the earth, and the wild beasts, and the creeping things, and the birds of the heaven. ¹³ And a voice came to him, Rise up, Peter, slay and eat. ¹⁴ But Peter said, Not at all, Lord, because I never did eat anything common or unclean. ¹⁵ And again a voice came to him a second time, What things God made clean, you do not make common. ¹⁶ And this happened three times, and the vessel was taken up into the heaven again. ¹⁷ And as Peter was doubting within himself what the vision which he saw might be, even behold, the men who had been sent from Cornelius stood on the porch asking out the house of Simon. ¹⁸ And calling out, they inquired if Simon being surnamed Peter is lodged here. ¹⁹ And as Peter pondered concerning the vision, the Spirit said to him, Behold, three men are seeking you. ²⁰ But rising up, go down and go with them, not discriminating, because I have sent them. ²¹ And going down to the men, the ones sent from Cornelius to him, Peter said, Behold, I am the one you seek. What is the cause for which you are here? ²² And they said, Cornelius, a centurion, a just man and one fearing God, and being testified to by all the nation of the Jews, was divinely warned by a holy angel to call you to his house and to hear words from you. ²³ Then calling them in, he lodged them . And on the morrow Peter went out with them. And some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him. ²⁴ And on the morrow they entered Caesarea. And Cornelius was awaiting them, having called together his relatives and his intimate friends. ²⁵ And as Peter was coming in, meeting him, Cornelius fell at his feet and worshiped. ²⁶ But Peter lifted him up, saying, Stand up! I myself am also a man. ²⁷ And talking with him, he went in and found many having come together. ²⁸ And he said to them, You know how unlawful it is for a man, a Jew, to unite with or to come near to one of another race. Yet God showed to me not to call a man common or unclean. ²⁹ Therefore, I also came without complaint, being summoned. Then I ask for what reason did you send for me? ³⁰ And Cornelius said, From the fourth day until this hour I have been fasting, and the ninth hour I was praying in my house. And, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing. ³¹ And he said, Cornelius, your prayer was heard and your alms were remembered before God. ³² Therefore, send to Joppa and call for Simon who is surnamed Peter; this one is lodged in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea. Having come, he will speak to you. ³³ Then at once I sent to you, and you did well to come. Now then, we are all present before God to hear all the things having been commanded you by God.

⁷ And on the first of the week, the disciples having been assembled to break bread, being about to depart on the morrow, Paul reasoned to them. And he continued his speech until midnight.

² On the first of a week, let each of you put by himself, storing up whatever he is prospered, that there not be collections then when I come.

² I know a man in Christ fourteen years before--whether in the body, I do not know, or out of the body, I do not know, God knows--such a one was caught up to the third Heaven. ³ And I know such a man--whether in the body or out of the body, I do not know; God knows-- ⁴ that he was caught up into Paradise and heard unspeakable words which it is not permissible for a man to speak.

¹ After these things I saw. And behold, a door being opened in Heaven! And I heard the first voice as a trumpet speaking with me, saying, Come up here, and I will show you what needs to happen after these things. ² And at once I became in spirit. And, behold, a throne was set in Heaven, and One sitting on the throne.

³ and cried with a great voice, as a lion roars. And when he cried, the seven thunders spoke their sounds. ⁴ And when the seven thunders spoke their sounds, I was about to write. And I heard a voice out of Heaven saying to me, Seal what things the seven thunders spoke, and do not write these things. ⁵ And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted his hand to Heaven, ⁶ and swore by Him living forever and ever, "who created the heaven" and the things in it, "and the earth" and the things in it, "and the sea and the things in it," that time shall no longer be; Ex. 20:11 ⁷ but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, whenever he is about to trumpet, was even ended the mystery of God, as He preached to His slaves, the prophets. ⁸ And the voice which I heard out of Heaven was again speaking to me, and saying, Go, take the little scroll having been opened in the hand of the angel standing on the sea and on the land.

³ And he carried me away into a desert, by the Spirit. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast, filled with names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

¹⁰ And he carried me in spirit on to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, holy Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God,

¹⁹ Now, then, write this song for you, and teach it to the sons of Israel. Put it in their mouths, so that this song shall be for a witness to Me against the sons of Israel.

⁸ Now come, write it before them on a tablet, and note it on a book, so that it may be for the latter day, until forever;

² So speaks Jehovah, God of Israel, saying, Write for yourself all the words that I have spoken to you in a book.

² And Jehovah answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it on the tablets, that he who reads it may run.

¹⁹ And he came to Ephesus, and he left those there. But he going into the synagogue, he reasoned with the Jews. ²⁰ And they asking him to remain over a longer time with them, he did not agree, ²¹ but took leave of them, saying, I must by all means keep the coming feast at Jerusalem; but I will come again to you, God willing. And he sailed from Ephesus.

²⁴ But a certain Jew named Apollos, an Alexandrian by birth, an eloquent man, came to Ephesus, being powerful in the Scriptures.

¹ And it happened, in the time Apollos was in Corinth, Paul was passing through the higher parts to come to Ephesus. And finding some disciples, ² he said to them, Believing, did you receive the Holy Spirit? And they said to him, We did not even hear whether the Holy Spirit is. ³ And he said to them, Then to what were you baptized? And they said, To the baptism of John. ⁴ And Paul said, John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe into the One coming after him, that is, into the Christ, Jesus. ⁵ And hearing, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. ⁶ And Paul laying hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in languages and prophesied. ⁷ And all the men were about twelve. ⁸ And going into the synagogue, he spoke boldly over three months, having reasoned with them, and persuading concerning the things of the kingdom of God. ⁹ But when some were hardened, and did not obey, speaking evil of the Way before the multitude, departing from them, He separated the disciples, conversing day by day in the school of a certain Tyrannus. ¹⁰ And this happened over two years, so as all those living in Asia heard the Word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks. ¹¹ And God did uncommon works of power through the hands of Paul, ¹² so as even handkerchiefs or aprons from his skin to be brought onto those sick, and the diseases to be released from them, and the evil spirits to go out from them. ¹³ But certain from the strolling Jews, exorcists, undertook to name the name of the Lord Jesus over those having evil spirits, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preaches. ¹⁴ And there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, doing this. ¹⁵ But answering the evil spirit said, I know Jesus, and I comprehend Paul, but who are you? ¹⁶ And the man in whom was the evil spirit leaped on them, and overcoming them, he was strong against them, and having been wounded, they fled out of the house naked. ¹⁷ And this became known to all, both Jews and Greeks, those living in Ephesus. And fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. ¹⁸ And many of those who had believed came confessing, and declaring their deeds. ¹⁹ And many of the ones practicing the curious arts, bringing together the books, burned them before all. And they counted the prices of them, and found it to be five ten thousands of silver. ²⁰ So with might, the Word of the Lord increased and was strong. ²¹ And when these things were fulfilled, passing through Macedonia and Achaia, Paul purposed in the Spirit to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have come there, I must also see Rome. ²² And sending into Macedonia two who ministered to him, Timothy and Erastus, he stayed a time in Asia. ²³ And about that time there was no little disturbance about the Way. ²⁴ For a certain silversmith named Demetrius was making silver shrines of Artemis, providing no little trade for the craftsmen. ²⁵ And assembling the workmen about such things, he said, Men, you understand that from this trade is our wealth. ²⁶ And you see and hear that not only Ephesus, but almost all of Asia, persuading, this Paul perverted a huge crowd, saying that those being made by hands are not gods. ²⁷ And not only is this dangerous to us, lest our part come to be in contempt, but also the temple of the great goddess Artemis will be counted nothing, and her majesty is also about to be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worships. ²⁸ And hearing, and having become full of anger, they cried out, saying, Great is Artemis of the Ephesians! ²⁹ And all the city was filled with confusion. And they rushed with one passion into the theater, keeping a firm grip on Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians, traveling companions of Paul. ³⁰ And Paul intending to go in to the mob, the disciples did not allow him. ³¹ And also some of the Asiarchs, being his friends, sending to him begged him not to give himself into the theater. ³² Then others indeed cried out a different thing, for the assembly was confused, and the majority did not know on what account they came together. ³³ But they dragged Alexander forward out of the crowd, the Jews thrusting him in front. And waving his hand, Alexander desired to defend himself to the mob. ³⁴ But knowing that he is a Jew, one voice was from all, as they were crying out over two hours, Great is Artemis of the Ephesians! ³⁵ And quieting the crowd, the town clerk said, Men, Ephesians, for what man is there who does not know the city of the Ephesians to be temple keepers of the great goddess Artemis, and of That Fallen From the Sky? ³⁶ Then these things being undeniable, it is necessary for you, having been calmed, to be so, and to do nothing rash. ³⁷ For you brought these men, being neither temple robbers nor blaspheming your goddess. ³⁸ If then, indeed, Demetrius and those craftsmen with him have a matter against anyone, courts are being held, and there are proconsuls. Let them accuse one another. ³⁹ But if you seek concerning other things, it will be settled in a lawful assembly. ⁴⁰ For we are in danger to be accused of insurrection concerning today, there being no cause about which we will be able to give account of this crowding together. ⁴¹ And saying these things, he dismissed the assembly.

¹⁷ And sending to Ephesus from Miletus, he called for the elders of the church.

³² If according to man I fought with beasts in Ephesus, what the profit to me if the dead are not raised? ("Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.") Isa. 22:13

⁸ But I will remain in Ephesus until Pentecost.

¹ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, to the saints being in Ephesus and faithful in Christ Jesus:

¹⁵ Greet the brothers in Laodicea, and Nymphas and the church in his house. ¹⁶ And when this letter is read before you, cause that it be read also in the Laodicean church, and that you also read the one of Laodicea.

³ Even as I called on you to remain in Ephesus, (I going to Macedonia), that you might charge some not to teach other doctrines,

¹⁹ Write what things you saw, and what things are, and what things are about to occur after these things.

⁴ And when the seven thunders spoke their sounds, I was about to write. And I heard a voice out of Heaven saying to me, Seal what things the seven thunders spoke, and do not write these things.

¹³ And I heard a voice out of Heaven saying to me, Write: Blessed are the dead, the ones dying in the Lord from now. Yes, says the Spirit, they shall rest from their labors, and their works follow with them.

⁹ And he says to me, Write: Blessed are the ones having been called to the supper of the marriage of the Lamb. And he says to me, These words of God are true.

⁵ And the One sitting on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He says to me, Write, because these words are faithful and true.

³⁷ And you shall make its seven lamps, and one shall set up its lamps, and they shall give light on its face.

⁵ And the Spirit took me up and brought me into the inner court. And, behold, the glory of Jehovah filled the house! ⁶ And I heard one speaking to me from the house. And standing beside me was a Man.

⁹ The voice of Jehovah calls out to the city; and one of sound wisdom will see Your name. Hear the rod, and Him who appointed it.

² And he said to me, What do you see? And I said, I see, and behold, a lampstand, all of it gold, and a bowl on its top, and its seven lamps on it, and seven spouts each to the seven lamps on its top;

¹³ And having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of man, having been clothed to the feet, and having been girded with a golden girdle at the breasts.

⁶ And they shall make the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, crimson and bleached, twined linen, skilled work. ⁷ It shall have two shoulder pieces at its two ends; and it shall be joined together. ⁸ And the band of the ephod which is on it, like its work, shall be of it, gold, blue, and purple, and crimson, and bleached, twined linen .

⁵ And its fastening band was on it; it was of it, like its work, gold, blue, and purple, and crimson, and twined bleached linen, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

⁷ and put on him the tunic, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the upper robe, and put the ephod on him, and girded him with the ephod on him, and girded him with the girdle of the ephod, and bound it to him with it;

⁵ And righteousness shall be the encircler of His loins, and faithfulness the encircler of His reins.

²⁶ And from above the expanse that was over their heads was an appearance like a sapphire stone, the likeness of a throne. And on the likeness of the throne was a likeness in appearance like a man on it from above. ²⁷ And I saw Him, like the color of polished bronze, looking like fire within it all around. From the appearance of His loins and upward, and from the appearance of His loins and downward, I saw Him looking like fire; and brightness to it all around. ²⁸ As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of the rain, so appeared the brightness all around. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Jehovah. And I saw, and I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.

⁹ I was looking until the thrones were thrown up, and the Ancient of Days sat, whose robe was white as snow and the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was like flames of fire, its wheels like burning fire.

⁵ then I lifted up my eyes and looked: And behold! A certain man was clothed in linen, whose loins were wrapped in fine gold from Uphaz. ⁶ His body was also like the beryl, and his face looked like lightning. And his eyes were like torches of fire; and his arms and his feet in color like polished bronze; and the sound of his words were as the noise of a multitude.

¹⁶ And, behold, one in form as the sons of men touched my lips. And I opened my mouth and spoke and said to him who stood before me, O lord, my pangs have come over me because of the vision, and I have no strength left.

⁷ but emptied Himself, taking the form of a slave, having become in the likeness of men ⁸ and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, having become obedient until death, even the death of a cross.

¹⁴ Since, then, the children have partaken of flesh and blood, in like manner He Himself also shared the same things, that through death He might cause to cease the one having the power of death, (that is, the Devil); ¹⁵ and might set these free, as many as by fear of death were subject to slavery through all the time to live. ¹⁶ For indeed He does not take hold of angels, "but He takes hold of" " the seed of Abraham." Isa. 41:8, 9 ¹⁷ For this reason He ought by all means to become like His brothers, that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the things respecting God, in order to make propitiation for the sins of His people.

¹⁵ For we do not have a high priest not being able to sympathize with our weaknesses but One having been tried in all respects according to our likeness, apart from sin.

¹⁴ And I saw; and behold, a white cloud and on the cloud One sitting, like the Son of man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.

⁶ And the seven angels having the seven plagues came forth out of the temple, having been clothed in clean and bright linen, and golden bands having been girded around the breasts.

⁶ His body was also like the beryl, and his face looked like lightning. And his eyes were like torches of fire; and his arms and his feet in color like polished bronze; and the sound of his words were as the noise of a multitude.

³ And his face was as lightning and his clothing white as snow.

¹² And His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head many diadems, having a name that had been written, which no one knows except Himself;

⁴ Jehovah on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, than the mighty waves of the sea.

¹³ The nations shall crash like the crashing of many waters, but He rebukes it, and it flees far away; yea, it is driven like the chaff of mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before a tempest.

⁷ and their feet were straight feet, and the sole of their feet like the sole of a calf's foot. And they sparkled like the color of burnished copper.

³ And He brought me there; and, behold, a man whose appearance was as the appearance of bronze, and a line of flax and a measuring reed in his hand. And he stood in the gate.

² And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east. And His voice was like the voice of many waters. And the earth shone from His glory.

² And I heard a sound out of Heaven, as a sound of many waters, and as a sound of great thunder. Also I heard a sound of harpers harping on their harps.

⁶ And I heard as a sound of a numerous crowd, and as a sound of many waters, and as a sound of strong thunders, saying, Hallelujah! Because the Lord God Almighty reigned.

⁷ when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

⁴ But He shall judge the poor in righteousness, and shall decide rightly for the meek of the earth. And He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and He shall slay the wicked with the breath of His lips.

²³ Then the moon shall blush, and the sun shall be ashamed, when Jehovah of Hosts shall reign in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem; and before His elders is His glory .

² And He made My mouth like a sharp sword; He hid Me in the shadow of His hand, and made Me a polished arrow; He hid me in His quiver;

¹⁹ The sun shall not still be your light by day, or the brightness of the moon give you light; but Jehovah shall be for everlasting light to you, and your God for your beauty. ²⁰ Your sun shall not set any more; and your moon shall not withdraw; for Jehovah will become your everlasting light; and the days of your mourning shall end.

¹⁰ And it became great, even to the host of the heavens. And it caused some of the host and of the stars to fall to the ground, and it trampled them.

³ And those who are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and those turning many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.

² But to you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness shall rise up, and healing will be on His wings. And you shall go out and frisk like calves of the stall.

² And He was transfigured before them, and His face shone like the sun, and His clothing became white as the light.

¹³ at midday along the highway, O king, I and those with me saw a light from heaven shining around me above the brightness of the sun.

¹⁷ Also, take "the helmet of salvation," and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God; Isa. 59:17 LXX-Isa. 11:4; MT-Isa. 49:2; LXX and MT-Hos. 6:5

¹² For the word of God is living, and powerfully working, and sharper than every two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of both soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge of the thoughts and intentions of the heart;

¹⁶ Repent! But if not, I will come to you quickly, and I will make war with them by the sword of My mouth.

¹ And I saw another strong angel coming down out of the heaven, having been clothed with a cloud, and a rainbow on the head; and his face as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire.

¹ And a great sign was seen in the heavens, a woman having been clothed with the sun, and the moon was underneath her feet; and on her head a crown of twelve stars;

²¹ And the rest were killed with the sword of the One sitting on the horse, it having gone out of His mouth. And all the birds were filled from their flesh.

¹ After these things the word of Jehovah came to Abram in a vision, saying, Do not fear, Abram; I am your shield, your reward will increase greatly.

¹³ And Moses said to the people, Do not be afraid. Take your stand and see the salvation of Jehovah, which He will prepare for you today. For as you see the Egyptians today, you shall not continue to see them again forever.

²⁰ And Moses said to the people, Do not be afraid, for God has come in order to test you, and so that His fear may be on your faces, that you may not sin.

¹⁰ Do not fear, for I am with you; do not gaze about, for I am your God; I will make you strong; yea, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.

²⁸ As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of the rain, so appeared the brightness all around. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Jehovah. And I saw, and I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.

¹⁷ And he came beside my place. And when he came, I feared and fell on my face. But he said to me, O son of man, understand, for the vision is for the time of the end. ¹⁸ And while he was speaking with me, I was stunned and on my face toward the ground. But he touched me and made me stand.

⁸ Then I was left alone, and I saw his great vision, and there remained no strength in me. For my glory was turned within me into corruption, and I kept no strength. ⁹ Yet I heard the sound of his words. And when I heard the sound of his words, then I was on my face, stunned, and my face was toward the ground. ¹⁰ And, behold, a hand touched me and set me shaking on my knees and the palms of my hands.

¹² And he said to me, Do not fear, Daniel. For from the first day that you set your heart to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard. And I have come because of your words.

¹⁵ And when he had spoken such words to me, I set my face to the ground, and I became speechless.

¹⁷ For how can the servant of my lord speak this with this my lord? For as for me, there is no power left in me; yea, there is no breath left in me. ¹⁸ And again one in form as a man touched me and made me strong. ¹⁹ And he said, O man greatly beloved, do not fear. Peace to you. Be strong. Yea, be strong! And when he had spoken to me I was made strong. And I said, Speak, my lord, for you have made me strong.

¹⁶ I heard, and my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the sound. Rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled within myself that I might rest for the day of distress; to come up against the peoples; he cuts him off.

² And He was transfigured before them, and His face shone like the sun, and His clothing became white as the light. ³ And, behold! Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. ⁴ And answering, Peter said to Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here. If You will, let us make three tents here, one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah. ⁵ While he was yet speaking, behold, a radiant cloud overshadowed them. And, behold, a voice out of the cloud saying, This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I delight; hear Him. Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1; Deut. 18:15 ⁶ And hearing, the disciples fell on their face and were greatly terrified. ⁷ And coming near, Jesus touched them and said, Rise up, and do not be terrified.

⁴ And those keeping guard were shaken from the fear of him, and they became as dead.

⁵ And entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right, having been clothed in a white robe. And they were much amazed. ⁶ But He said to them, Do not be amazed. You seek Jesus the Nazarene who has been crucified. He was raised. He is not here. See the place where they put Him?

³⁷ But being terrified and filled with fear, they thought they saw a spirit. ³⁸ And He said to them, Why are you troubled? And why do reasonings come up in your hearts. ³⁹ See My hands and My feet, that I am He? Feel Me and see, because a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see Me having.

²³ But there was one of His disciples reclining at the bosom of Jesus, whom Jesus loved.

²⁰ But turning, Peter saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them, who also leaned on His breast at the Supper, and said, Lord, who is the one betraying You?

²⁵ For I know my Redeemer is living, and He shall rise on the earth at the last;

⁴⁶ Jehovah lives! And blessed be my Rock! And let the God of my salvation be exalted!

²⁰ Our God is the God of salvation; and to Jehovah the Lord are the issues of death.

²² And the key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder, so that he opens, and no one shuts; and he shuts, and no one opens.

¹⁹ And I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of Heaven. And whatever you bind on earth shall occur, having been bound in Heaven. And whatever you may loose on the earth shall be, having been loosed in Heaven.

¹⁹ Yet a little while and the world no longer sees Me, but you see Me. Because I live, you also shall live.

⁹ knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dies no more; death no longer lords it over Him.

⁸ For both if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Then both if we live, and if we die, we are the Lord's. ⁹ For this Christ both died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord over both the dead and the living.

¹⁴ For the love of Christ constrains us, having judged this, that if One died for all, then the all died; ¹⁵ and He died for all, that the living ones may live no more to themselves, but to the One having died for them and having been raised.

⁴ (for even if He was crucified out of weakness, yet He lives by the power of God). For even we are weak in Him, yet we shall live by the power of God toward you.

³ For you died, and your life has been hidden with Christ in God.

³ who being the shining splendor of His glory, and the express image of His essence, and upholding all things by the word of His power, having made purification of our sins through Himself, He sat down on the right of the Majesty on high, Psa. 110:1

¹⁶ who has not become so according to a law of a fleshly command, but according to the power of an indissoluble life.

²⁵ From this also He is able to save to perfection those who come to God through Him, ever living to intercede on their behalf.

² looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith, Jesus, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, "and sat down at the right" of the throne of God. Psa. 110:1

⁹ And when ever the living creatures shall give glory and honor and thanks to the One sitting on the throne, to the One living forever and ever,

¹⁴ And the four living creatures said, Amen. And the twenty four elders fell down and worshiped the One living forever and ever.

¹ And the fifth angel trumpeted. And I saw a star out of the heaven falling onto the earth. And the key to the pit of the abyss was given to it.

¹ And I saw an angel coming down out of Heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain on his hand. ² And he laid hold of the dragon, the old serpent who is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

¹⁴ And death and Hades were thrown into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death.

¹¹ saying, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last; also, What you see, write in a scroll, and send to the seven churches of Asia: to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.

¹ After these things I saw. And behold, a door being opened in Heaven! And I heard the first voice as a trumpet speaking with me, saying, Come up here, and I will show you what needs to happen after these things. ² And at once I became in spirit. And, behold, a throne was set in Heaven, and One sitting on the throne. ³ And the One sitting was in appearance like a jasper stone, and a sardius; and a rainbow was around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. ⁴ And around the throne I saw twenty four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty four elders sitting, having been clothed in white garments. And they had golden crowns on their heads. ⁵ And out of the throne come forth lightnings and thunders and voices. And seven lamps of fire are burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God; ⁶ and a glassy sea before the throne, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne and around the throne were four living creatures, full of eyes before and behind. ⁷ And the first living creature was like a lion; and the second living creature like a calf; and the third living creature having a face like a man; and the fourth living creature like an eagle flying. ⁸ And the four living creatures each one had six wings around, and within being full of eyes. And they had no rest day and night, saying, "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty," the One who was, and is, and is coming! Isa. 6:3 ⁹ And when ever the living creatures shall give glory and honor and thanks to the One sitting on the throne, to the One living forever and ever, ¹⁰ the twenty four elders fall down before Him sitting on the throne; and they will worship the One living forever and ever, and will throw their crowns before the throne, saying, ¹¹ Lord, You are worthy to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because You created all things, and through Your will they exist and were created.

⁷ For the lips of the priest should guard knowledge, and they should seek the law from his mouth; for he is the messenger of Jehovah of hosts.

¹⁴ You are the light of the world. A city situated on a mountain cannot be hidden. ¹⁵ Nor do they light a lamp and put it under the grain measure, but on the lampstand; and it shines for all who are in the house. ¹⁶ So let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works, and may glorify your Father in Heaven.

¹¹ And answering, He said to them, Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven, but it has not been given to those.

¹⁰ And He said, To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest in parables, that seeing they might not see, and hearing, they might not understand. Isa. 6:9

¹⁵ that you may be blameless and harmless, children of God, without fault in the midst of a crooked generation, even having been perverted, among whom you shine as luminaries in the world, ¹⁶ holding up a word of life, for a boast to me in the day of Christ, that I ran not in vain, nor labored in vain.

¹⁴ I write these things to you, hoping to come to you shortly. ¹⁵ But if I delay, that you may know how to behave in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth. ¹⁶ And confessedly, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in flesh, was justified in Spirit, was seen by angels, was proclaimed among nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

¹² And I turned to see the voice which spoke with me. ¹³ And having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of man, having been clothed to the feet, and having been girded with a golden girdle at the breasts.

¹⁶ and having in His right hand seven stars; and a sharp, two-edged sword proceeding out of His mouth, and His face shining as the sun in its power.

¹ To the angel of the Ephesian church, write: These things says the One holding the seven stars in His right hand, He walking in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:
