¹³ But now, in Christ Jesus you who then were afar off came to be near by the blood of Christ.

⁷ All who see Me scornfully laugh at me; they open the lip; they shake the head, saying,

²⁷ For, lo, those who are far from You shall be lost; You have cut off all who go whoring away from You.

¹⁰ And it shall be in that day, the Root of Jesse stands as a banner of peoples; nations shall seek to Him; and His resting place shall be glory.

¹⁵ On account of this, glorify Jehovah in the flames, the name of Jehovah God of Israel, in the coasts of the sea. ¹⁶ We have heard songs from the end of the earth, Honor to the Righteous. But I said, Leanness to me! Leanness to me! Woe to me! Traitors betray, even perfidy; traitors betray!

⁶ I will say to the north, Give up! And to the south, Do not hold back! Bring My sons from afar, and bring My daughters from the ends of the earth;

¹² Behold, these shall come from afar; and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.

¹⁹ I create the fruit of the lips: peace, peace, to the ones far off and near, says Jehovah, and I will heal him.

⁴ Lift up your eyes all around and see; they are all assembling; they are coming to you. Your sons shall come from far away, and your daughters shall be supported on the side.

⁹ For the coastlands shall wait for Me, and the ships of Tarshish at the first, to bring your sons from far away, their silver and their gold to them, to the name of Jehovah your God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because He has glorified you.

¹⁹ And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those who escape from them to the nations of Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, drawers of the bow; to Tubal and Javan, to the far away coasts that have not heard My fame nor seen My glory. And they shall declare My glory among the nations.

¹⁹ O Jehovah, my strength and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the nations shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, Our fathers have inherited only lies, vanity, and there is no profit in them.

³⁹ For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all those afar off, as many as the Lord our God shall call.

¹⁴ Simon recounted how even as at first God oversaw to take a people out from among the nations for His name.

²¹ And He said to me, Go, for I will send you to the nations afar off.

¹⁸ to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, in order that they may receive remission of sins, and an inheritance among those being sanctified by faith in Me.

²³ for all sinned and fall short of the glory of God, ²⁴ being justified freely by His grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus, ²⁵ whom God set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, for a showing forth of His righteousness through the passing by of the sins that had taken place before, in the forbearance of God, ²⁶ for the showing forth of His righteousness in the present time, for His being just and justifying the one that is of the faith of Jesus. ²⁷ Then where is the boasting? It was excluded. Through what law? Of works? No, but through a law of faith. ²⁸ Then we conclude a man to be justified by faith without works of law. ²⁹ Or is He the God of Jews only, and not also of the nations? Yes, of the nations also, ³⁰ since it is one God who will justify circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

⁹ Much more then, being justified now by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. ¹⁰ For if while being enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life;

¹ There is therefore now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to flesh, but according to Spirit.

⁸ And I say, Jesus Christ has become a minister of circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises of the fathers, ⁹ and for the nations to glorify God for mercy, even as it has been written, "Because of this I will confess to You in the nations, and I will give praise to Your name." Psa. 18:49 ¹⁰ And again He says, "Rejoice, nations, with His people." Deut. 32:43 ¹¹ And again, "Praise the Lord, all the nations, and praise Him all the peoples." Psa. 117:1 ¹² And again Isaiah says, "The Root of Jesse shall be, and He rising up to rule the nations; on Him nations will hope." Isa. 11:10

³⁰ But of Him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, both righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

¹¹ And some were these things, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

¹⁷ So that if anyone is in Christ, that one is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new!

²⁰ Then on behalf of Christ, we are ambassadors, as God is exhorting through us, we beseech on behalf of Christ, Be reconciled to God. ²¹ For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

²⁸ There cannot be Jew nor Greek, there is no slave nor freeman, there is no male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

⁷ in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

¹² that at that time you were without Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers of the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

¹⁶ and might reconcile both in one body to God through the cross, slaying the enmity in Himself. ¹⁷ And coming, He proclaimed "peace to you, the ones afar off, and to the ones near." Isa. 57:19

¹⁹ So, then, you are no longer strangers and tenants, but you are fellow citizens of the saints and of the household of God, ²⁰ being built up on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the cornerstone, ²¹ in whom every building having been fitted together grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord, ²² in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

⁵ which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations, as it now has been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit, ⁶ for the nations to be joint-heirs, and a joint-body and joint-sharers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, ⁷ of which I was made a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me, according to the working of His power. ⁸ This grace was given to me, less than the least of all the saints, to proclaim the gospel of the unsearchable riches of Christ among the nations,

¹³ who delivered us out of the authority of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, ¹⁴ in whom we have redemption through His blood, the remission of sins;

²⁰ and through Him making peace by the blood of His cross, to reconcile all things to Himself; through Him, whether the things on the earth, or the things in the heavens. ²¹ And you then being alienated and enemies in your mind by evil works, yet now He reconciled ²² in the body of His flesh, through death, to present you holy and without blemish and without charge before Him,

¹⁸ From which neither the first covenant was dedicated without blood.

¹⁸ knowing that not with corruptible things, silver or gold, you were redeemed from your worthless way of life handed down from your fathers, ¹⁹ but with precious blood of Christ, as of an unblemished and unspotted lamb,

¹⁸ Because even Christ once suffered concerning sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God; indeed being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit;

⁹ And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy are You to receive the scroll, and to open its seals, because You were slain, and by Your blood purchased us to God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
