¹ For I want you to know how great a struggle I have concerning you, and those in Laodicea, and as many as have not seen my face in the flesh, ² that their hearts may be comforted, being joined together in love, and to all riches of the full assurance of the understanding, to the full knowledge of the mystery of God, even of the Father and of Christ, ³ in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and of knowledge. ⁴ And I say this that no one may beguile you with persuasive words. ⁵ For though I am indeed absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing and seeing your order and the firmness of your faith in Christ. ⁶ Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him, ⁷ having been rooted and built up in Him, and having been confirmed in the faith, even as you were taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. ⁸ Watch that there not be one robbing you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the elements of the world, and not according to Christ. ⁹ For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; ¹⁰ and having been filled, you are in Him, who is the Head of all rule and authority, ¹¹ in whom also you were circumcised with a circumcision not made by hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, ¹² being buried with Him in baptism, in whom also you were raised through the faith of the working of God, raising Him from among the dead. ¹³ And you, being dead in the offenses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all the offenses, ¹⁴ blotting out the handwriting in the ordinances against us, which was contrary to us, even He has taken it out of the midst, nailing it to the cross; ¹⁵ having stripped the rulers and the authorities, He made a show of them in public, triumphing over them in it. ¹⁶ Then do not let anyone judge you in eating, or in drinking, or in respect of a feast, or the new moon, or of sabbaths, ¹⁷ which are a shadow of coming things, but the body is of Christ. ¹⁸ Let no one condemn you, delighting in humility and worship of the angels, pushing into things which he has not seen, being puffed up by the mind of his flesh without a cause, ¹⁹ and not holding fast the Head, from whom all the body having been supplied through the joints and bands, and having been joined together, will grow with the growth of God. ²⁰ If, then, you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why are you under its decrees, as living in the world? ²¹ Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch, ²² These things are all to rot away in the using, according to the "injunctions and teachings of men." Isa. 29:13 ²³ Which things indeed have a reputation of wisdom in self-imposed worship and humility, and unsparing severity of the body, not in any honor with respect to gratification of the flesh.

⁸ And Rachel said, With struggles of God I have struggled with my sister; yea, I have been able. And she called his name Naphtali.

²⁴ And Jacob was left alone. And a Man wrestled with him until the ascending of the dawn. ²⁵ And He saw that He had not prevailed against him. And He touched on his hip socket, and Jacob's hip socket was unhinged as he wrestled with Him. ²⁶ And He said, Send me away, for the dawn has ascended. And he said, I will not let you go unless You bless me. ²⁷ And He said to him, What is your name? And he said, Jacob. ²⁸ And He said, Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, because you have wrestled with God and with men, and have prevailed. ²⁹ And Jacob asked and said, Please reveal Your name. And He said, Why this that you ask about My name? And He blessed him there. ³⁰ And Jacob called the name of the place Penuel, because I saw God face to face, and my life is delivered.

³ He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and by his strength he contended with God. ⁴ Yes, he wept and pleaded to Him, and he contended with the Angel and overcame. He found us at Bethel, and He spoke with us there,

⁴⁴ And being in an agony, He prayed more intently. And His sweat became as drops of blood falling down onto the earth.

²⁵ And now, behold, I know that you all will see my face no more, among whom I went about proclaiming the kingdom of God.

³⁸ most of all grieving for the word which he said, that they were going to see his face no more. And they went with him to the ship.

¹⁹ My children, for whom I again travail until Christ should be formed to you,

³⁰ having the same struggle which you saw in me and now hear to be in me.

²⁴ who now rejoice in my sufferings on your behalf and fill up in my flesh the things lacking of the afflictions of Christ on behalf of His body, which is the church,

²⁹ for which also I labor, struggling according to the working of Him who works in me in power.

⁵ For though I am indeed absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing and seeing your order and the firmness of your faith in Christ.

¹² Epaphras greets you, he of you, a slave of Christ, always striving for you in prayers, that you may stand full-grown and being complete in every will of God. ¹³ For I bear witness to him, that he has much zeal on your behalf, and those in Laodicea, and those in Hierapolis.

¹⁵ Greet the brothers in Laodicea, and Nymphas and the church in his house. ¹⁶ And when this letter is read before you, cause that it be read also in the Laodicean church, and that you also read the one of Laodicea.

² But also suffering before and being insulted in Philippi, as you know, we were bold in our God to speak the gospel of God to you in much agony.

⁷ who in the days of His flesh was offering both petitions and entreaties to Him being able to save Him from death, with strong crying and tears, and being heard from His godly fear;

⁸ whom having not seen, you love; in whom not yet seeing, but believing, you exult with unspeakable and having been glorified,

¹¹ saying, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last; also, What you see, write in a scroll, and send to the seven churches of Asia: to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.

¹⁴ And to the angel of the church of Laodicea, write: These things says the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Head of the creation of God: ¹⁵ I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I would that you were cold, or hot. ¹⁶ So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to vomit you out of My mouth. ¹⁷ Because you say, I am rich, and I am made rich, and I have need of nothing, and do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. ¹⁸ I advise you to buy from Me gold having been fired by fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, and your shame and nakedness may not be revealed. And anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. ¹⁹ I, as many "as I love, I rebuke and I chasten." Be zealous, then, and repent. Prov. 3:12 ²⁰ Behold, I stand at the door and knock: If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will enter to him, and I will dine with him, and he with Me. ²¹ The one overcoming, I will give to him to sit with Me in My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father in His throne. ²² The one who has an ear, hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

¹ A Song of Ascents. Of David. Behold! How good and how pleasant is the living of brothers, even in unity.

¹⁷ And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the service of righteousness shall be quietness and hope forever.

¹ Comfort, O comfort My people, says your God.

¹¹ He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul; He shall be fully satisfied. By His knowledge shall My righteous Servant justify for many, and He shall bear their iniquities.

²⁴ But let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am Jehovah, doing kindness, justice and righteousness in the earth; for I delight in these, says Jehovah.

²⁵ Answering at that time, Jesus said, I praise You, Father, Lord of Heaven and of Earth, because You hid these things from the sophisticated and cunning and revealed them to babes.

²⁷ All things were yielded up to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him .

²¹ In the same hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit, and said, I praise You, Father, Lord of Heaven and of earth, that You hid these things from the sophisticated and cunning and revealed them to babes; yes, Father, because so it was pleasing before You. ²² All things were delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father; and who is the Father, except the Son, and he to whom the Son may desire to reveal Him .

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² He was in the beginning with God. ³ All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.

¹⁷ But Jesus answered them, My Father works until now, and I work.

²³ so that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. The one not honoring the Son does not honor the Father who has sent Him.

⁶⁹ And we have believed and have known that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

³⁰ I and the Father are one!

³⁸ But if I do, even if you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may perceive and may believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.

⁹ Jesus said to him, Am I so long a time with you, and you have not known Me, Philip? The one seeing Me has seen the Father! And how do you say, Show us the Father? ¹⁰ Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words which I speak to you I do not speak from Myself, but the Father who abides in Me, He does the works. ¹¹ Believe Me that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me; but if not, believe Me because of the works themselves.

¹⁵ All things which the Father has are Mine. For this reason I said that He receives from Mine, and will announce to you.

³ And this is everlasting life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.

²¹ that all may be one, as You are in Me, Father, and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. ²² And I have given them the glory which You have given Me, that they may be one, as We are one: ²³ I in them, and You in Me, that they may be perfected in one; and that the world may know that You sent Me and loved them, even as You loved Me.

³² And of the multitude of those who believed, the heart and the soul were one. And no one said any of the possessions to be his own, but all things were common to them.

¹³ And may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, for you to abound in hope, in power of the Holy Spirit.

²⁵ Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel, and the proclaiming of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery having been kept unvoiced during eternal times,

¹² But we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit from God, so that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God.

⁴ the One comforting us on all our affliction, for us to be able to comfort those in every affliction, through the comfort by which we ourselves are comforted by God. ⁵ Because the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. ⁶ But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation, being worked out in the endurance of the same sufferings which we also suffer. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort and salvation;

²⁸ There cannot be Jew nor Greek, there is no slave nor freeman, there is no male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

¹⁷ that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of Him, ¹⁸ the eyes of your mind having been enlightened, for you to know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, ¹⁹ and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us, the ones believing according to the working of His mighty strength

⁹ and to bring to light all, what is the fellowship of the mystery having been hidden from eternity in God, the One creating all things through Jesus Christ, ¹⁰ so that now to the rulers and to the authorities in the heavenlies might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God,

²² whom I sent to you for this same thing, that you might know the things about us, and he may comfort your hearts.

¹ Then if there is any comfort in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tendernesses and compassions,

⁸ But, nay, rather I also count all things to be loss because of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them to be trash, that I might gain Christ

⁹ For this cause also, from the day in which we heard, we do not cease praying on your behalf, and asking that you may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

¹⁵ who is the image of the invisible God, the First-born of all creation. ¹⁶ For all things were created in Him, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, the visible and the invisible; whether thrones, or lordships, or rulers, or authorities, all things have been created through Him and for Him. ¹⁷ And He is before all things, and all things consist in Him.

²⁷ to whom God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the nations, who is Christ in you, the hope of glory;

¹⁴ And above all these, add love, which is the bond of perfectness.

⁸ whom I sent to you for this very thing, that he know the things about you, and that he might comfort your hearts,

⁵ For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance, even as you know what kind we were among you for your sake.

² and sent Timothy, our brother and minister of God, and our fellow worker in the gospel of Christ, in order to establish you and to encourage you concerning your faith,

¹⁴ And we exhort you, brothers to warn the disobedient ones, comfort those that are fainthearted, sustain the weak, be long-suffering towards all.

¹⁶ But may our Lord Himself, Jesus Christ, and our God and Father, He who loves and gives us everlasting encouragement and good hope by grace, ¹⁷ encourage your hearts, and may He establish you in every good word and work.

¹⁶ And confessedly, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in flesh, was justified in Spirit, was seen by angels, was proclaimed among nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

¹¹ But we desire each of you to show the same eagerness, to the full assurance of the hope to the end;

²² let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, our hearts having been sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our body having been washed in pure water;

³ As His divine power has given to us all things pertaining to life and godliness through the full knowledge of the One calling us through glory and virtue,

¹⁰ On account of this, brothers, rather be diligent to make sure of your calling and election; for doing these things, you will not ever fall into sin .

¹⁸ But grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. ¹⁹ And in this we shall know that we are of the truth, and shall persuade our hearts before Him,

¹² No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love having been perfected is in us. ¹³ By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because of His Spirit He has given to us.

⁷ For there are three bearing witness in Heaven: the Father the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

²¹ Yea, it is hidden from the eyes of all living, and concealed from the birds of the heavens;

⁴ if you seek her as silver, and search for her as hidden treasures,

² And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest on Him; He will have the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and power, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah.

²⁶ Therefore, you should not fear them, for nothing is covered which will not be uncovered; and hidden, which will not be made known.

³³ O the depth of the riches and of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

²⁴ but to the called-out ones, both to Jews and to Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God;

³⁰ But of Him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, both righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

⁶ But we speak wisdom among the perfect, but not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, those being brought to nothing. ⁷ But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, having been hidden, which God predetermined before the ages for our glory, ⁸ which none of the rulers of this age has known. For if they had known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;

⁸ which He caused to abound toward us in all wisdom and understanding,

¹⁹ because all the fullness was pleased to dwell in Him,

³ For you died, and your life has been hidden with Christ in God.

¹⁶ Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom teaching and exhorting yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

¹⁵ and that from a babe you know the Holy Scriptures, those being able to make you wise to salvation through belief in Christ Jesus. ¹⁶ Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, ¹⁷ so that the man of God may be perfected, fully furnished for every good work.

¹⁷ The one who has an ear, hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one overcoming, I will give him to eat from the hidden manna. And I will give to him a white stone, and on the stone a new name having been written, which no one knows except the one receiving it .

⁴ And answering, Jesus said to them, See that not any leads you astray.

²⁴ For false christs and false prophets will rise up. And they will give great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

²² For false christs and false prophets will be raised, and they will give signs and wonders in order to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

³⁰ and out of you yourselves will rise up men speaking perverted things, in order to draw away the disciples after themselves.

¹⁸ For such ones do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth speaking and flattering they deceive the hearts of those without guile. ¹⁹ For your obedience reached to all; therefore, I rejoice over you. But I desire you to be truly wise as to good, but simple toward evil.

⁴ And my word and my preaching was not in moving words of human wisdom, but in proof of the Spirit and of power,

³ But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent deceived Eve in his craftiness, so your thoughts should be corrupted from the purity which is due to Christ.

¹¹ Why? Because I do not love you? God knows. ¹² But what I do, I also will do, that I may cut off the opportunity of those desiring an opportunity, so that in that which they boast, they be found also as we. ¹³ For such ones are false apostles, deceitful workers transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.

⁴ But it was because of those false brothers stealing in, who stole in to spy on our freedom which we have in Christ Jesus, they desiring to enslave us,

¹⁴ so that we may no longer be infants, having been blown and carried to and fro by every wind of doctrine, in the underhandedness of men, in craftiness with a view to the trickery of error,

⁶ Let no one deceive you with empty words, for through these the wrath of God comes on the sons of disobedience.

⁸ Watch that there not be one robbing you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the elements of the world, and not according to Christ.

¹⁸ Let no one condemn you, delighting in humility and worship of the angels, pushing into things which he has not seen, being puffed up by the mind of his flesh without a cause,

⁹ His coming is according to the working of Satan in all power and miracles and lying wonders, ¹⁰ and in all deceit of unrighteousness in those being lost, because they did not receive the love of the truth in order for them to be saved. ¹¹ And because of this, God will send to them a working of error, for them to believe the lie,

¹ But the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, cleaving to deceiving spirits and teachings of demons, ² in lying speakers in hypocrisy, being seared in their own conscience,

¹⁶ But shun profane, empty babblings, for they will go on to more ungodliness,

¹³ But evil men and pretenders will go forward to worse, leading astray and being led astray.

¹⁰ For there are indeed many disobedient men, empty talkers and mind-deluders, especially those of the circumcision, ¹¹ whose mouth you must stop, who overturn whole houses, teaching things which they ought not for the sake of ill gain.

¹ Then having laid aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil words, ² as newborn babes desire the pure soul-nourishing milk, that you may grow by it; ³ if indeed you "tasted" "that the Lord is good;" LXX-Psa. 33:9; MT-Psa. 34:8

¹⁸ Young ones, it is a last hour, and as you heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have risen up, from which you know that it is a last hour.

²⁶ I wrote these things to you concerning the ones leading you astray.

¹ Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are from God; for many false prophets have gone forth into the world.

⁷ Because many deceivers went out into the world, those not confessing Jesus Christ to have come in the flesh, this is the deceiver and the antichrist.

⁹ And the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent being called Devil, and, Satan; he deceiving the whole habitable world was cast out onto the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

⁸ And all those dwelling in the earth will worship it, those of whom the names had not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb having been slain from the foundation of the world.

³ and threw him into the abyss, and shut him up, and sealed over him, that he should not still lead astray the nations, until the thousand years are fulfilled. And after these things, he must be set loose a little time.

⁸ and he will go to mislead the nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to assemble them in war, whose number is as the sand of the sea.

¹⁸ And she saw that she had made herself strong to go with her; and she ceased to speak to her.

³⁵ And also, there were many burnt offerings with fat of the peace offerings, and with drink offerings for the burnt offering; and the service of the house of Jehovah was established.

⁸ And they shall not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation that prepared not its heart; yea, whose spirit was not faithful with God.

³⁷ For their heart was not steadfast with Him; and they were not faithful in His covenant.

⁴² And they were continuing steadfastly in the doctrine of the apostles, and in fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

³ For as being absent in body, but being present in spirit, I have already judged the one who has worked out this thing, as if I were present: ⁴ In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, you being gathered together with my spirit also, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

³⁴ But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, that you may not come together for judgment. And the other things I will set in order whenever I come.

⁴⁰ And let all things be done decently and in order.

⁵⁸ So that, my beloved brothers, you be firm, immovable, abounding in the work of the Lord always, knowing that your labor is not without fruit in the Lord.

¹³ Watch! Stand fast in the faith! Be men! Be strong!

¹ For I want you to know how great a struggle I have concerning you, and those in Laodicea, and as many as have not seen my face in the flesh,

¹⁷ But, brothers, we being taken away from you for an hour's time, in presence, not in heart, we were much more eager with much desire to see your face.

⁸ for now we live, if you should stand fast in the Lord.

¹⁴ For we have become partakers of Christ, if truly we hold the beginning of the assurance firm to the end;

¹⁹ which we have as an anchor of the soul, both certain and sure, and entering into the inner side of the veil, Lev. 16:12

⁹ whom firmly resist in the faith, knowing the same sufferings are being completed in your brotherhood in the world.

¹⁷ Then beloved, you knowing beforehand, watch lest being led away by the error of the lawless you fall from your own steadfastness. ¹⁸ But grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

⁵ Oh house of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of Jehovah.

² And many nations shall come and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, and to the house of the God of Jacob. And He will teach us from His ways, and we will walk in His paths. For the law shall go forth out of Zion, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.

⁴⁰ The one receiving you receives Me, and the one receiving Me receives Him who sent Me.

¹² But as many as received Him, to them He gave authority to become children of God, to the ones believing into His name, ¹³ who were born not of bloods, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but were born of God.

²⁰ Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who receives whomever I may send receives Me; and the one who receives Me receives the One who sent Me.

⁶ Jesus said to him, I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

⁷ (for we walk by faith, not by sight),

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; yet no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith toward the Son of God, the One loving me and giving Himself over on my behalf.

¹ Then I, the prisoner in the Lord, exhort you to walk worthily of the calling in which you were called,

¹ Then be imitators of God, as beloved children, ² and walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell.

²⁷ Only behave yourself worthily of the gospel of Christ, so that whether coming and seeing you or being absent, I hear the things concerning you, that you stand fast in one spirit and one soul, striving together in the faith of the gospel,

¹⁰ for you to walk worthily of the Lord to all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work and growing into the full knowledge of God;

¹⁷ And everything, whatever you do in word or in work, do all things in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father through Him.

¹ For the rest, then brothers, we beg you and we exhort in the Lord Jesus, even as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you abound more.

⁶ The one saying to rest in Him ought so to walk himself as that One walked.

¹¹ And this is the witness: that God gave us everlasting life, and this life is in His Son. ¹² The one having the Son has life. The one not having the Son of God does not have life.

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God has come, and He has given to us an understanding that we may know the true One, and we are in the true One, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and the life everlasting.

⁸ Watch yourselves, that we may not lose the things we worked out, but that we may receive a full reward. ⁹ Everyone transgressing and not abiding in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. The one abiding in the doctrine of Christ, this one has the Father and the Son.

³ Having made all haste to write to you about the common salvation, beloved, I had need to write to you to exhort you to contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints.

³ And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivulets of waters, which will give its fruit in its seasons, and its leaf will not wither, and all which he does will prosper.

¹³ Those planted in the house of Jehovah, in the courts of our God, shall flourish.

³ to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of the spirit of infirmity, so that one calls them trees of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, in order to beautify Himself.

⁸ For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters. It sends out its roots by the stream, and it will not fear when the heat comes; but its foliage will be green; and it is not anxious in the year of drought, nor will it cease from yielding fruit.

²³ I will plant it in a high mountain of Israel. And it will bear boughs and produce fruit and will become a majestic cedar. And every bird of every wing shall dwell under it; they shall dwell in the shadow of its branches. ²⁴ And all the trees of the field shall know that I, Jehovah, have brought down the high tree. and have exalted the low tree, and have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree flourish. I, Jehovah, have spoken and acted.

²⁴ Then everyone who hears these words from Me, and does them, I will compare him to a wise man who built his house on the rock; ²⁵ and the rains came down, and the rivers came up, and the winds blew, and fell against that house; but it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.

⁴⁸ He is like a man building a house, who dug and deepened, and laid a foundation on the rock. And a flood having occurred, the stream burst against that house and could not shake it, for it had been founded on the rock.

⁴ Remain in Me, and I in you. As the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself, unless it remain in the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me. ⁵ I am the Vine; you are the branches. He that remains in Me, and I in him, this one bears much fruit. For apart from Me you are not able to do anything.

¹⁷ But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree were grafted in among them, and became a sharer of the root and the fatness of the olive tree, ¹⁸ do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, it is not you that bears the root, but the root bears you.

⁹ For we are fellow workers of God, a field of God, and you are a building of God. ¹⁰ According to God's grace given to me, as a wise master builder, I laid a foundation, but another builds on it . But let each one be careful how he builds. ¹¹ For no one is able to lay any other foundation beside the One having been laid, who is Jesus Christ. ¹² And if anyone builds on this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, grass, straw, ¹³ the work of each will be revealed; for the Day will make it known, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire will prove the work of each, what sort it is. ¹⁴ If the work of anyone which he built remains, he will receive a reward. ¹⁵ If the work of anyone shall be consumed, he shall suffer loss; but he will be saved, but so as through fire.

²¹ But He confirming us and anointing us with you in Christ is God,

²⁰ being built up on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the cornerstone, ²¹ in whom every building having been fitted together grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord, ²² in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

¹⁷ that through faith Christ may dwell in your hearts, having been rooted and founded in love,

²¹ if indeed you heard Him and were taught in Him, as the truth is in Jesus.

²⁰ giving thanks at all times for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, even to God the Father,

¹² giving thanks to the Father, who has made us fit for a share of the inheritance of the saints in light, ¹³ who delivered us out of the authority of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

²³ if indeed you continue in the faith grounded and settled and not being moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard proclaimed in all the creation under Heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

¹⁸ In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.

¹⁷ encourage your hearts, and may He establish you in every good word and work.

¹⁵ Then through Him let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God always, that is, the fruit of the lips, confessing to His name.

⁴ to whom having drawn near, a living Stone, indeed having been rejected by men, but chosen by God, precious; ⁵ you also as living stones are being built a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. ⁶ Because of this, it is also contained in the Scripture: "Behold," I lay in Zion" an elect, "precious Stone," "a Corner-foundation;" "and the one believing in Him shall never in any way be ashamed." Isa. 28:16

¹⁰ Now the God of all grace, the One calling you to His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, you having suffered a little, He Himself will perfect, confirm, strengthen, establish you .

¹² These are sunken rocks in your love feasts, feasting together with you, feeding themselves without fear, waterless clouds being carried about by winds, fruitless autumn trees, having died twice, having been plucked up by the roots;

²⁰ But you, beloved, building yourselves up by your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,

²⁴ Now to Him being able to keep you without stumbling, and to set you before His glory without blemish, with unspeakable joy;

¹² and you shall be on guard that you not forget Jehovah who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slaves.

¹⁵ Take for us the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vines; and our vineyards have blossoms.

⁸ For so says Jehovah of Hosts, the God Israel: Do not let your prophets and your fortune-tellers in your midst deceive you. And do not listen to your dreams which you dream.

¹⁵ But beware of the false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inside they are plundering wolves.

¹⁷ But beware of men. For they will betray you to sanhedrins, and they will flog you in their synagogues.

² Why do your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread. ³ But answering He said to them, Why do you also transgress the command of God on account of your tradition? ⁴ For God commanded, saying, "Honor your father and mother," Ex. 20:12; Deut. 5:16 and, "The one speaking evil of father or mother, by death let him die." Ex. 21:17 ⁵ But you say, Whoever says to the father or the mother, A gift, whatever you would gain from me; ⁶ and in no way he honors his father or his mother. And you annulled the command of God on account of your tradition. ⁷ Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy concerning you, saying: ⁸ "This people draws near to Me with their mouth, and with their lips honor Me; but their heart is far from Me. ⁹ But in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the ordinances of men." Isa. 29:13

⁶ And Jesus said to them, Watch! And beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

³ For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they immerse the hands with the fist, holding the tradition of the elders. ⁴ And coming from the market, they do not eat without immersing. And there are many other things which they received to hold: dippings of cups, and of utensils, and of copper vessels, and couches. ⁵ Then the Pharisees and scribes questioned Him, Why do your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands? ⁶ And answering, He said to them, Well did Isaiah prophesy concerning you, hypocrites; as it has been written: "This people honors Me with the lips, but their heart is far away from Me; ⁷ and in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men." Isa. 29:13 ⁸ For forsaking the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men: dippings of utensils and cups, and many other such like things you do. ⁹ And He said to them, Do you do well to set aside the commandment of God so that you may keep your tradition? ¹⁰ For Moses said, "Honor your father and your mother;" Ex. 20:12; Deut. 5:16 and, "The one speaking evil of father or mother, let him expire by death." Ex. 21:17 ¹¹ But you say, If a man says to his father or mother, Corban, (which is, A gift!) whatever you may profit by me. ¹² And you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or mother, ¹³ making the Word of God of no effect by your tradition which you delivered. And many such like things you do.

¹⁸ And some of the Epicureans and of the Stoics, philosophers, fell in with him. And some said, What may this chatterer wish to say? And these others, He seems to be an announcer of foreign demons (because he announced Jesus and the resurrection to them).

³² And hearing of a resurrection of the dead, some indeed ridiculed, but said, We will hear you again concerning this.

²¹ Because knowing God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful. But they became vain in their reasonings, and their undiscerning heart was darkened. ²² Professing to be wise, they became foolish

¹⁷ And brothers I exhort you to watch those making divisions and causes of stumbling contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them.

¹⁹ For it has been written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will set aside the understanding of the understanding ones." Isa. 29:14 ²⁰ Where is the wise? Where the scribe? Where the lawyer of this world? Did God not make the wisdom of this world foolish? ²¹ For since in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom did not know God, God was pleased through the foolishness of preaching to save the ones believing. ²² And since Jews ask for a sign, and Greeks seek wisdom, ²³ we on the other hand preach Christ crucified (truly an offense to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks),

¹⁸ Let no one deceive himself, if anyone thinks to be wise among you in this age, let him become foolish, that he may become wise. ¹⁹ For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God; for it has been written, "He takes the wise in their own craftiness." Job 5:13

³⁵ But someone will say, How are the dead raised? And with what body do they come? ³⁶ Foolish one! What you sow is not made alive unless it dies.

⁵ pulling down imaginations and every high thing lifting up itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ,

¹⁴ And I progressed in Judaism beyond many contemporaries in my race, being much more a zealot of the traditions of my ancestors.

³ So we also, when we were infants, we were under the elements of the world, being enslaved.

⁹ But now, knowing God, but rather being known by God, how do you turn again to the weak and poor elements to which you desire again to slave anew?

² in which you then walked according to the course of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit now working in the sons of disobedience,

²⁰ But you have not so learned Christ,

² Look out for the dogs, look out for the evil workers, look out for the concision party .

²⁰ If, then, you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why are you under its decrees, as living in the world?

²² These things are all to rot away in the using, according to the "injunctions and teachings of men." Isa. 29:13

²⁰ O Timothy, guard the Deposit, having turned away from the profane empty babblings and opposing theories of the falsely named knowledge,

¹⁷ and their word will have growth like gangrene, of whom are Hymenaeus and Philetus, ¹⁸ who missed the mark concerning the truth, saying the resurrection already has come, and overturn the faith of some.

⁹ Do not be carried away by various and strange doctrine; for it is good that the heart be confirmed by grace, not by foods, in which those walking in them were not profited.

¹⁸ knowing that not with corruptible things, silver or gold, you were redeemed from your worthless way of life handed down from your fathers,

¹⁷ Then beloved, you knowing beforehand, watch lest being led away by the error of the lawless you fall from your own steadfastness.

⁸ Watch yourselves, that we may not lose the things we worked out, but that we may receive a full reward.

¹⁴ So, The Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold! The virgin will conceive and will bring forth a son; and she shall call His name Immanuel.

²³ "Behold! The virgin will conceive in her womb and will bear a son, and they will call His name Emmanuel" (which translated is, God with us). Isa. 7:14

²² and the Holy Spirit came down in a bodily form as a dove upon Him. And there was a voice out of Heaven, saying, You are My Son, the Beloved; I am delighted in You. Psa. 2:7; Gen 22:2; Isa. 42:1

¹⁴ And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, glory as of an only begotten from the Father, full of grace and of truth.

²¹ But He spoke about the sanctuary of His body.

⁹ Jesus said to him, Am I so long a time with you, and you have not known Me, Philip? The one seeing Me has seen the Father! And how do you say, Show us the Father? ¹⁰ Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words which I speak to you I do not speak from Myself, but the Father who abides in Me, He does the works.

²⁰ In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you.

²¹ that all may be one, as You are in Me, Father, and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

¹⁹ whereas God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not charging their trespasses to them, and putting the word of reconciliation in us.

² that their hearts may be comforted, being joined together in love, and to all riches of the full assurance of the understanding, to the full knowledge of the mystery of God, even of the Father and of Christ, ³ in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and of knowledge.

¹³ looking for the blessed hope and appearance of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

¹⁶ And out of His fullness we all received, and grace on top of grace.

³⁰ But of Him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, both righteousness and sanctification and redemption, ³¹ so that even as it has been written, "He that glories, let him glory in" the "Lord." Jer. 9:24

²⁶ for you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. ²⁷ For as many as were baptized into Christ, you put on Christ. ²⁸ There cannot be Jew nor Greek, there is no slave nor freeman, there is no male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. ²⁹ And if you are of Christ, then you are a seed of Abraham, even heirs according to promise.

²⁰ which He worked in Christ in raising Him from the dead; yea, He seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies, Psa. 110:1 ²¹ far above all principality, and authority, and power, and lordship, and every name being named, not only in this age, but also in the coming age; ²² and He "put all things under His feet" and gave Him to be Head over all things to the church, Psa. 8:6 ²³ which is His body: the fullness of Him filling all things in all;

¹⁹ and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to all the fullness of God.

¹⁵ but speaking the truth in love, we may grow up into Him in all things, who is the head, the Christ, ¹⁶ from whom all the body, having been fitted and compacted together through every assisting bond, according to the effectual working of one measure in each part, produces the growth of the body to the building up of itself in love.

⁹ Because of this also God highly exalted Him and gave Him a name above every name, ¹⁰ that at the name of Jesus "every knee should bow," of heavenly ones, and earthly ones, and ones under the earth, ¹¹ and "every tongue should confess" that Jesus Christ is "Lord," to the glory of God the Father. Isa. 45:23

¹⁶ For all things were created in Him, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, the visible and the invisible; whether thrones, or lordships, or rulers, or authorities, all things have been created through Him and for Him. ¹⁷ And He is before all things, and all things consist in Him. ¹⁸ And He is the Head of the body, the church, who is the Beginning, the First-born from the dead, that He be preeminent in all things;

¹¹ where there is no Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, slave or freeman, but Christ is all things and in all.

⁹ and being perfected, He became the Author of eternal salvation to all the ones obeying Him,

²² who going into Heaven is at the right of God, the angels, and authorities, and powers being subjected to Him).

⁹ And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy are You to receive the scroll, and to open its seals, because You were slain, and by Your blood purchased us to God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, ¹⁰ and made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign over the earth. ¹¹ And I saw, and I heard a sound of many angels around the throne, and the living creatures, and the elders, and their number was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands, ¹² saying with a great voice, Worthy is the Lamb having been slain to receive the power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. ¹³ And every creature which is in Heaven, and in the earth, and underneath the earth, and the things that are on the sea, and the things in all of them, I heard saying: To Him sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb be the blessing and the honor and the glory and the might forever and ever.

¹⁶ And you shall circumcise the foreskin of your heart, and you shall not harden your neck any more.

⁶ And Jehovah your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your seed, to love Jehovah your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live.

⁴ Circumcise yourselves to Jehovah, and take away the foreskin of your heart, O men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, that My fury not go forth like fire and burn, so that no one can put it out; because of the evil of your doings.

⁵⁸ We heard Him saying, I will throw down this temple made with hands, and through three days I will build another not made with hands.

²¹ And when eight days were fulfilled to circumcise the child His name was called Jesus, the name called by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.

⁴⁸ But the Most High does not dwell in temples made by hand, as the prophet says,

²⁴ The God who made the world and all things in it, this One being Lord of Heaven and of earth, does not dwell in handmade temples,

²⁹ but he is a Jew that is one inwardly, and circumcision is of heart, in spirit, not in letter; of whom the praise is not from men, but from God.

⁶ knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be nullified, so that we no longer serve sin.

¹ For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle is taken down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in Heaven.

¹⁷ So that if anyone is in Christ, that one is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new!

⁴ But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, having come into being out of a woman, having come under Law, ⁵ that He might redeem the ones under law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

²⁴ But the ones belonging to Christ crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

¹⁰ for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God before prepared that we should walk in them. ¹¹ Because of this, remember that you, the nations, were then in the flesh (those having been called Uncircumcision by those having been called Circumcision in the flesh made by hand) ¹² that at that time you were without Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers of the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. ¹³ But now, in Christ Jesus you who then were afar off came to be near by the blood of Christ. ¹⁴ For He is our peace, He making us both one, and breaking down the middle wall of partition, ¹⁵ in His flesh causing to cease the enmity, the Law of the commandments in decrees, that He might in Himself create the two into one new man, making peace, ¹⁶ and might reconcile both in one body to God through the cross, slaying the enmity in Himself. ¹⁷ And coming, He proclaimed "peace to you, the ones afar off, and to the ones near." Isa. 57:19 ¹⁸ For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

²² for you have put off the old man, as regards the former behavior, having been corrupted according to the deceitful lusts,

³ For we are the circumcision, the ones who worship by the Spirit of God, and who glory in Christ Jesus, and who do not trust in flesh.

⁸ But now, you also, put off all these things: wrath, anger, malice, evil-speaking, shameful speech out of your mouth. ⁹ Do not lie to one another, having put off the old man with his practices,

¹¹ But Christ having appeared as a High Priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation,

²⁴ For Christ did not enter into the Holy of Holies made by hands, types of the true things, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf,

⁵ And the apostles said to the Lord, Give us more faith.

³ Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, if one does not receive birth from above, he is not able to see the kingdom of God. ⁴ Nicodemus said to Him, How is a man able to be born, being old? He is not able to enter into his mother's womb a second time and be born? ⁵ Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, if one does not receive birth out of water and Spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God. ⁶ That receiving birth from the flesh is flesh, and that receiving birth from the Spirit is spirit. ⁷ Do not wonder because I told you, You must receive birth from above.

²⁴ But God raised Him up, loosing the throes of death, because it was not possible for Him to be held by it.

²⁷ And having arrived, and gathering the church, they reported what things God did with them and that He opened a door of faith to the nations.

²⁴ but also on account of us, to whom it is about to be counted, to the ones believing on Him who has raised our Lord Jesus from the dead,

³ Or are you ignorant that all who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? ⁴ Therefore, we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, so also we should walk in newness of life. ⁵ For if we have been joined together in the likeness of His death, so also shall we be in the resurrection,

⁸ But if we died with Christ, we believe that also we shall live with Him, ⁹ knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dies no more; death no longer lords it over Him. ¹⁰ For in that He died, He died to sin once for all; but in that He lives, He lives to God. ¹¹ So also you count yourselves to be truly dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁴ So that, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, for you to become Another's, to One raised from the dead, so that we may bear fruit to God.

¹³ For also we all were baptized by one Spirit into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, even all were given to drink into one Spirit.

²⁰ But now Christ has been raised from the dead; He became the firstfruit of those having fallen asleep.

²⁷ For as many as were baptized into Christ, you put on Christ.

¹⁹ and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us, the ones believing according to the working of His mighty strength ²⁰ which He worked in Christ in raising Him from the dead; yea, He seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies, Psa. 110:1

⁴ But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, ⁵ even we being dead in sins, He made us alive together with Christ (by grace you are being saved), ⁶ and raised us up together and seated us together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus,

⁸ For by grace you are saved, through faith, and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God;

⁷ of which I was made a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me, according to the working of His power.

⁵ one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

¹⁴ Because of this, He says, Arise, sleeping ones and stand up out of the dead ones, and Christ will shine on you. No OT passage

²⁹ because it was granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on His behalf,

¹ If, then, you were raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is sitting at the right of God; Psa. 110:1 ² mind the things above, not the things on the earth,

⁵ not by works in righteousness which we had done, but according to His mercy, He saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, ⁶ whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ, our Savior;

² of the baptisms, of doctrine, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of dead ones, and of eternal judgment.

² looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith, Jesus, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, "and sat down at the right" of the throne of God. Psa. 110:1

²⁰ Now the God of Peace, He leading up out of the dead, the great Shepherd of the sheep, in the blood of the everlasting covenant, our Lord Jesus, ²¹ perfect you in every good work, in order to do His will, doing in you that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

¹⁶ Do not go astray, my beloved brothers, ¹⁷ every act of good giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom is no change or shadow of turning.

²¹ Which figure now also saves us, baptism (not a putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;

¹ Therefore, Christ having suffered for us in the flesh, also you arm yourselves with the same thought, that he suffering in the flesh has been made to rest from sin, ² for him no longer to live in the lusts of men, but to live the remaining time in the flesh in the will of God. ³ For the time of life having passed is sufficient for us to have worked out the will of the nations, having gone on in wantonness, lusts, drunkenness, parties, carousings, and unlawful idolatries;

¹ A Psalm of David. A Contemplation. Blessed is he whose transgression is lifted, whose sin is covered.

²⁰ Who has shown me great and evil distresses; You will turn me; You will make me live; and You will bring me up from the depths of the earth.

⁵⁰ This is my comfort in my affliction; for Your word has given me life.

¹⁸ Come now and let us reason together, says Jehovah: Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red as the crimson, they shall be like wool.

⁷ Let the wicked forsake his way and the vain man his thoughts; and let him return to Jehovah, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

³⁴ And they shall no longer each man teach his neighbor, and each man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah. For they shall all know Me, from the least of them even to the greatest of them, declares Jehovah. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sins no more.

¹ The hand of Jehovah was on me. And He brought me by the Spirit of Jehovah and made me rest in the midst of a valley, and it was full of bones. ² And He made me pass among them all around. And, behold, very many were on the face of the valley. And, behold! They were very dry. ³ And He said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I said, O Lord Jehovah, You know. ⁴ And He said to me, Prophesy to these bones and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of Jehovah: ⁵ So says the Lord Jehovah to these bones: Behold, I cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live,; ⁶ and I will put on you sinews and will bring flesh on you and spread skin over you and put breath in you, and you shall live. And you shall know that I am Jehovah. ⁷ So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a noise. And, behold, a shaking! And the bones drew near, a bone to its bone. ⁸ And I watched. And, behold! The sinews and the flesh came up on them, and the skin spread over them from above. But there was no breath in them. ⁹ Then He said to me, Prophesy to the Spirit. Prophesy, son of man, and say to the Spirit, So says the Lord Jehovah: Come from the four winds, O Spirit, and breathe on these slain ones, that they may live. ¹⁰ So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the Spirit came into them. And they lived and stood on their feet, a very great army.

⁶⁰ But Jesus said to him, Leave the dead to bury their dead, but going out, you announce the kingdom of God.

²⁴ for this son of mine was dead, and lived again, and was lost, and was found. And they began to be merry.

³² But to be merry and to rejoice was right, for this brother of yours was dead, and lived again; and being lost, also he was found.

²¹ For even as the Father raises the dead, and gives life, so also the Son gives life to whomever He wills.

⁶³ It is the Spirit that gives life. The flesh does not profit, nothing! The words which I speak to you are spirit and are life.

³⁸ Then let it be known to you, men, brothers, that through this One remission of sin is announced to you. ³⁹ And everyone believing in this One is justified from all things which you could not be justified by the Law of Moses.

¹⁷ according as it has been written, "I have appointed you a father of many nations;" before God, whom he believed, the One making the dead live, and calling the things that are not as if they were. Gen. 17:5

¹³ Neither present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as one living from the dead, and your members instruments of righteousness to God.

¹¹ But if the Spirit of the One having raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the One having raised the Christ from the dead will also make your mortal bodies live through the indwelling of His Spirit in you.

³⁶ Foolish one! What you sow is not made alive unless it dies.

⁴⁵ So also it has been written, "The" first "man", Adam, "became a living soul;" the last Adam a life-giving Spirit. Gen. 2:7

⁶ who also made us able ministers of a new covenant, not of letter, but of Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit makes alive.

¹⁴ For the love of Christ constrains us, having judged this, that if One died for all, then the all died; ¹⁵ and He died for all, that the living ones may live no more to themselves, but to the One having died for them and having been raised.

¹ and He worked in you who were once dead in trespasses and sins,

¹¹ Because of this, remember that you, the nations, were then in the flesh (those having been called Uncircumcision by those having been called Circumcision in the flesh made by hand)

⁶ But she who lives in self-pleasure has died while living.

¹³ I charge you before God, He making all things alive, and Christ Jesus, He witnessing the good confession to Pontius Pilate,

¹ Because of this, having left the discourse of the beginning of Christ, let us be borne on to full growth, not laying down again a foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

¹⁰ Because this is the covenant which I will covenant with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, giving My laws into their mind, and I will write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." ¹¹ "And they shall no more teach each one his neighbor, and each one his brother, saying, Know the Lord; because all shall know Me, from the least of them to their great ones. ¹² For I will be merciful to their unrighteousnesses, and I will not at all remember their sins and their lawless deeds." LXX-Jer. 38:31-34; MT-Jer. 31:31-34

¹⁴ by how much more the blood of Christ (who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God), will purify your conscience from dead works for the serving of the living God!

¹⁷ So also faith, if it does not have works, is dead being by itself.

²⁰ But are you willing to know, O vain man, that faith apart from works is dead?

²⁶ For as the body is dead apart from the spirit, so also faith is dead apart from works.

⁷ But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of His Son Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. ⁸ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. ⁹ If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous that He may forgive us the sins, and may cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

¹² Little children, I write to you because you have been forgiven your sins through His name.

²³ And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and shall blot them with the bitter waters.

⁵ And do not cover their iniquity, and do not let their sin be blotted out from before You. For they have provoked You to anger before the builders.

¹² Then the king's scribes were called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and it was written according to all that Haman had commanded to the king's satraps, and to the governors who were over every province, and to the rulers of every people of every province. according to its writing, and to every people according to their language. It was written in the name of king Ahasuerus, and sealed with the king's ring.

⁸ And you write to the Jews according to the good in your eyes, in the king's name, and seal it with the king's ring. For the writing which is written in the king's name, and sealed with the king's ring, there is no taking back.

¹ To the chief musician, A Psalm of David when Nathan the prophet came to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your loving-kindness, according to the multitude of Your tender mercies; blot out my transgressions.

⁹ Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.

²⁵ I, even I, am He who blots out your trespasses for My sake; and I will not remember your sins.

²² I have blotted out your transgressions like a thick cloud; and your sins like a cloud. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.

¹⁴ And he shall say, Raise up! Raise up! Clear the way! Make the stumbling block rise from the way of My people.

⁷ The king cried aloud to bring in the conjurers, the Chaldeans, and the star gazers. The king spoke and said to the wise men of Babylon, Any man who can read this writing and reveal its meaning shall be clothed with purple, and have a chain of gold around his neck. And he shall rule third in the kingdom. ⁸ Then all the king's wise men came in. But they could not read the writing or make the meaning known to the king.

⁶ And they were both righteous before God, walking blameless in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord.

¹⁹ Therefore, repent, and convert, for the blotting out of your sins, so that times of refreshing may come from the face of the Lord,

¹ But I say, Over so long a time the heir is an infant, he being lord of all does not differ from a slave, ² but is under guardians and housemasters until the term set before by the father. ³ So we also, when we were infants, we were under the elements of the world, being enslaved. ⁴ But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, having come into being out of a woman, having come under Law,

¹⁴ For He is our peace, He making us both one, and breaking down the middle wall of partition, ¹⁵ in His flesh causing to cease the enmity, the Law of the commandments in decrees, that He might in Himself create the two into one new man, making peace, ¹⁶ and might reconcile both in one body to God through the cross, slaying the enmity in Himself.

⁷ For the mystery of lawlessness already is working, only he is holding back now, until it comes out of the midst.

¹⁸ For a voiding of the preceding command comes about because of its weakness and unprofitableness.

¹³ In the saying, New, He has made the first old. And the thing having been made old and growing aged is near disappearing.

⁹ which was a parable for the present time, according to which both gifts and sacrifices are offered, but as regards conscience, not being able to perfect the one serving, ¹⁰ but only on foods and drinks, and various washings, and fleshly ordinances, until the time of setting things right has been imposed.

⁸ Above, saying, "You did not desire nor were pleased with sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and sacrifices concerning sins," (which are offered according to the Law), ⁹ then He said, "Lo, I come to do Your will, O God." He takes away the first in order that He may set up the second;

²⁴ who "Himself bore in His body our sins" onto the tree; that dying to sins, we might live to righteousness; of whom, "by His wound, you were healed.

¹⁵ And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He will bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.

¹⁸ You have gone up on high; You have led captivity captive; You have received gifts among men; yea, to dwell among the rebellious, O Jehovah God.

²⁴ Shall the plunder be taken from the warrior, or the righteous captive escape? ²⁵ But so says Jehovah, Even the captives of the warrior shall be taken, and the plunder of the terrifying ones shall be delivered. For I will strive with him who contends with you; and I will save your sons.

¹² Because of this I will divide to Him with the great, and with the strong He shall divide the spoil; because He poured out His soul to death; and He was counted with transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for transgressors.

²⁹ Or how is anyone able to enter the house of the strong one and plunder his goods, if he does not first tie up the strong one; and then he will plunder his house?

¹⁸ And He said to them, I saw Satan falling out of Heaven as lightning!

²² But as soon as one stronger than he comes, he overcomes him; he takes away his armor on which he relied, and deals out his arms.

³⁹ And one of the hanged criminals blasphemed Him, saying, If you are the Christ, save yourself and us. ⁴⁰ But answering, the other rebuked him, saying, Do you not fear God, for you are in the same judgment? ⁴¹ And we indeed justly, for we receive things worthy of what we did. But this One did nothing wrong. ⁴² And he said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when You come in Your kingdom. ⁴³ And Jesus said to him, Truly I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.

³¹ Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world shall be cast out. ³² And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all to Myself.

¹¹ and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

³⁰ Then when Jesus took the vinegar, He said, It has been finished. And bowing His head, He delivered up the spirit.

²³ this One given to you by the before-determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, you having taken by lawless hands, having crucified Him, you put Him to death. ²⁴ But God raised Him up, loosing the throes of death, because it was not possible for Him to be held by it.

³² This Jesus God raised up, of which we all are witnesses. ³³ Then being exalted to the right of God, and receiving the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He poured out this which you now see and hear. ³⁴ For David did not ascend into Heaven, but he says, "The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand ³⁵ until I place Your enemies as a footstool for Your feet." LXX-Psa. 109:1; MT-Psa. 110:1 ³⁶ Then assuredly, let all the house of Israel acknowledge that God made Him both Lord and Christ, this same Jesus whom you crucified.

⁴ in whom the god of this age has blinded the thoughts of the unbelieving, so that the brightness of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.

⁸ Because of this, He says, "Having gone up on high, He led captivity captive," and gave "gifts to men." Psa. 68:18

¹² because we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenlies.

¹⁶ For all things were created in Him, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, the visible and the invisible; whether thrones, or lordships, or rulers, or authorities, all things have been created through Him and for Him.

¹⁴ Since, then, the children have partaken of flesh and blood, in like manner He Himself also shared the same things, that through death He might cause to cease the one having the power of death, (that is, the Devil);

² And he laid hold of the dragon, the old serpent who is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, ³ and threw him into the abyss, and shut him up, and sealed over him, that he should not still lead astray the nations, until the thousand years are fulfilled. And after these things, he must be set loose a little time.

¹⁰ And the Devil leading them astray was thrown into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet were . And they were tormented day and night forever and ever.

² Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, These are the living things which you shall eat out of all the animals which are on the earth. ³ Any that divides the hoof and is wholly clovenfooted, bringing up the cud, among the living things, you may eat it. ⁴ Only, you may not eat these, of those bringing up the cud, and of those dividing the hoof: the camel, though it brings up the cud, yet it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you; ⁵ and the rock badger, though it brings up the cud, yet it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you; ⁶ and the hare, though it brings up the cud, yet it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you; ⁷ and the swine, though it divides the hoof and is clovenfooted, yet it does not bring up the cud; it is unclean to you. ⁸ You shall not eat of their flesh, and you shall not touch their dead body; they are unclean to you. ⁹ Of all that are in the waters, you shall eat these; any one that has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the torrents, you may eat them. ¹⁰ But any one that does not have fins and scales in the seas, and in the torrents, of any swarming creature of the waters, and of any creature which lives in the waters; they are to be detested by you. ¹¹ Yes, they shall be detested by you; you shall not eat of their flesh and you shall shun their dead bodies. ¹² Any one that does not have fins and scales in the waters, it shall be an unclean thing to you. ¹³ And these you shall count unclean among the fowls; they shall not be eaten; they are unclean: the eagle, and the black vulture and the bearded vulture, ¹⁴ and the kite, and the falcon, according to its kind; ¹⁵ every raven according to its kind; ¹⁶ and the ostrich, and the great owl, and the gull, and small hawks, according to its kind ¹⁷ and the little owl, and the cormorant, and the eared owl; ¹⁸ and the barn owl, and the pelican and the owl-vulture; ¹⁹ and the stork, the heron according to its kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat. ²⁰ Every flying swarming creature going on all four, it is an abomination to you. ²¹ Only, this you may eat of any swarming thing which flies, which goes on all four, which has legs above its feet, to leap with them on the earth; ²² these are those you may eat: the locusts according to its kind, and the bald locust according to its kind, and the long horned locust according to its kind, and the short horned grasshopper according to its kind. ²³ But every swarming thing which flies, which has four feet, it is unclean to you. ²⁴ And by these you shall be made unclean; any who touches their dead body is unclean until the evening. ²⁵ And anyone who lifts up their dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening; ²⁶ even every living thing which divides the hoof, and is not clovenfooted, and does not bring up the cud, they are unclean to you; anyone who touches them shall be unclean. ²⁷ And any going on its paws among all the living things which go on all four, they are unclean to you; anyone who touches their dead body is unclean until the evening; ²⁸ and he who lifts up their dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening; they are unclean to you. ²⁹ And these shall be unclean to you among the swarming things which swarm on the earth: the weasel, and the mouse, and the great lizard according to its kind, ³⁰ and the gecko, and the monitor, and the lizard, and the sand lizard, and the barn owl. ³¹ These are unclean to you among all which swarm; anyone who touches them in their death is unclean until the evening. ³² And anything on which any one of them falls in their death is unclean, whether of any vessel of wood, or garment, or skin, or sack; any vessel in which work is done shall be caused to go into water, and shall be unclean until the evening; then it shall be cleaned. ³³ Ad any earthen vessel into the midst of which any one of them falls, whatever is in it shall be unclean, and you shall break it. ³⁴ And of all the food which may be eaten, that on which such water falls shall be unclean, and all drink that may be drunk in any such vessel shall be unclean. ³⁵ And anything on which any part of their dead body falls shall be unclean; an oven or hearth shall be broken down; they are unclean; yes, they are unclean to you. ³⁶ But a fountain or a well, a collection of water, shall be clean; only that touching the dead body is unclean. ³⁷ And when any part of their dead body falls on any sowing seed which is sown, it shall be clean; ³⁸ but when water is put on the seed, and any of its dead body has fallen on it, it shall be unclean to you. ³⁹ And when any of the animals which are food for you dies, he who touches its dead body is unclean until the evening; ⁴⁰ and he who eats of its dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening; and he who lifts up its dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening. ⁴¹ And every swarming thing which swarms on the earth is unclean; it shall not be eaten; ⁴² Anything going on its belly, and any going on all four, and all having many feet, even every swarming thing that swarms on the earth, you shall not eat them, for they are unclean; ⁴³ you shall not pollute yourselves with any swarming thing which swarms, nor shall you make yourselves unclean with them, so that you should be defiled by them. ⁴⁴ For I am Jehovah your God, and you have sanctified yourselves, and you have become holy, for I am holy. And you shall not defile your persons with any swarming thing which creeps on the earth; ⁴⁵ for I am Jehovah who brought you up out of the land of Egypt to become your God; and you shall be holy, for I am holy. ⁴⁶ This is the law of the animals, and of the fowl, and of every living creature which moves in the waters, and every creature which swarms on the earth, ⁴⁷ to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living thing that may be eaten and the living thing that may not be eaten.

³¹ It is a sabbath of rest to you, and you shall humble yourself. It is a never ending statute.

¹⁰ And any man of the house of Israel, or of the alien who is staying in your midst, who eats any blood, I will set My face against that person that eats blood and will cut him off from his people. ¹¹ For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar, to atone for your souls; for it is the blood which makes atonement for the soul. ¹² For this reason I have said to the sons of Israel, No person among you shall eat blood; and the alien who is staying in your midst shall not eat blood. ¹³ And any man of the sons of Israel, or of the aliens who stay in your midst, who hunts game, beast or fowl, which is eaten, shall even pour out its blood and shall cover it with dust. ¹⁴ For it is the life of all flesh; its blood is for its life. And I say to the sons of Israel You shall not eat blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is in the blood; anyone eating it is cut off. ¹⁵ And any person who eats a dead body or torn thing, be he a native, or an alien, he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening; then he shall be clean.

¹ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ² Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them, The appointed feasts of Jehovah which you shall proclaim, holy gatherings, shall be these: These are My appointed seasons: ³ Work is to be done six days, and in the seventh day shall be a sabbath of rest, a holy gathering; you shall do no work; it is a sabbath to Jehovah in all your dwellings. ⁴ These are appointed seasons of Jehovah, holy gatherings which you shall proclaim in their appointed seasons: ⁵ In the first month, on the fourteenth of the month, between the evenings is the Passover to Jehovah. ⁶ And on the fifteenth of this month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to Jehovah; you shall eat unleavened things seven days. ⁷ On the first day you shall have a holy gathering; you shall do no work of service; ⁸ and you shall bring near a fire offering to Jehovah seven days; and the seventh day shall be a holy gathering; you shall do no work of service. ⁹ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ¹⁰ Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them, When you come in to the land which I am giving to you, and have reaped its harvest, and have brought in the sheaf, or the beginning of your harvest, to the priest, ¹¹ then he shall wave the sheaf before Jehovah for your acceptance; on the morrow of the sabbath the priest shall wave it. ¹² And you shall prepare a lamb in the day you wave the sheaf, a perfect one, a son of a year, for a burnt offering to Jehovah. ¹³ And its food offering shall be two tenth parts of flour mixed with oil, a fire offering to Jehovah, a sweet fragrance; and its drink offering, a fourth of a hin of wine. ¹⁴ And you shall not eat bread, nor roasted grain, nor fresh ears, until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your God; it is a never ending statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings. ¹⁵ And you shall number to you from the next day after the sabbath, from the day you bring in the sheaf of the wave offering; they shall be seven perfect sabbaths; ¹⁶ the next day after the seventh sabbath, you shall number fifty days; and you shall bring near a new food offering to Jehovah; ¹⁷ you shall bring in bread out of your dwellings for a wave offering, two loaves; they shall be of two tenth ephah of flour; they shall be baked with leaven; firstfruits to Jehovah ¹⁸ And besides the bread, you shall offer seven lambs, perfect ones, sons of a year, and one bullock, a son of the herd, and two rams; they are a burnt offering to Jehovah, with their food offering and their drink offerings, a fire offering of soothing fragrance to Jehovah. ¹⁹ And you shall offer one he-goat for a sin offering, and two lambs, sons of a year, for a sacrifice of peace offerings. ²⁰ And the priest shall wave them, besides the bread of the firstfruits, a wave offering before Jehovah, besides the two lambs; they are holy to Jehovah for the priest. ²¹ And you shall make a proclamation on this same day; it is a holy gathering to you. You shall do no work of service. It is a never ending statute in all your dwellings throughout your generations. ²² And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not completely reap the corner of your field, nor shall you gather the gleaning of your harvest; you shall leave them for the poor, and for the alien: I am Jehovah your God. ²³ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ²⁴ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first of the month, you shall have a sabbath, a memorable acclamation, a holy gathering. ²⁵ You shall do no work of service and you shall bring a fire offering to Jehovah. ²⁶ And Jehovah spoke to Moses saying, ²⁷ Also, on the tenth of this seventh month shall be a day of atonement; there shall be a holy gathering, and you shall humble your souls and shall bring a fire offering to Jehovah. ²⁸ And you shall do no work in this same day, for it is a day of atonement, to atone for you before Jehovah your God. ²⁹ For any person who is not humbled in this same day shall be cut off from his people. ³⁰ And any person who does any work in this same day, I shall even destroy that person from the midst of his people. ³¹ You shall do no work; it is a never ending statute throughout your generations, in all your dwellings. ³² It is a sabbath of rest to you, and you shall humble your souls in the ninth of the month at evening; from evening until evening you shall keep your sabbath. ³³ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ³⁴ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, In the fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be a Feast of Booths seven days to Jehovah. ³⁵ On the first day shall be a holy gathering; you shall do no work of service. ³⁶ Seven days you shall bring a fire offering to Jehovah; on the eighth day you shall have a holy gathering; and you shall bring the fire offering to Jehovah; it is a solemn assembly; you shall do no work of service. ³⁷ These are the set feasts of Jehovah which you shall proclaim, holy gatherings, to bring a fire offering to Jehovah, a burnt offering, and a food offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, the thing of a day on its own day; ³⁸ besides the sabbaths of Jehovah, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides all your freewill offerings which you shall give to Jehovah. ³⁹ Also, in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you gather the increase of the land, you shall keep the feast of Jehovah seven days; on the first day a sabbath, and on the eighth day a sabbath. ⁴⁰ And you shall take to yourselves on the first day the fruit of majestic trees, palm branches, and boughs of oak trees, and willows of the brook, and shall rejoice before Jehovah your God seven days. ⁴¹ And you shall keep a feast to Jehovah, seven days in a year, a never ending statute throughout your generations; in the seventh month you shall keep it. ⁴² You shall live in booths seven days; all who are homeborn in Israel shall live in booths, ⁴³ so that your generations shall know that I caused the sons of Israel to live in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt; I am Jehovah your God. ⁴⁴ And Moses announced the appointed feasts of Jehovah to the sons of Israel.

¹⁰ And in the day of your gladness, and in your appointed times, and in your new moons, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings And they shall be to you for a memorial before your God. I am Jehovah your God.

¹ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ² Command the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them, My offering, My bread for My fire offerings, My soothing fragrance, you shall take heed to offer to Me in its appointed season. ³ And you shall say to them, This is the fire offering which you shall offer to Jehovah, two yearling lambs without blemish, day by day, as a continual burnt offering. ⁴ You shall offer the one lamb in the morning, and you shall offer the other lamb between the two evenings; ⁵ and a tenth of an ephah of flour for a food offering mixed with beaten oil, a fourth of a hin; ⁶ a continual burnt offering which was offered in Mount Sinai for a soothing fragrance, a fire offering to Jehovah; ⁷ and its drink offering, a fourth of a hin for the one lamb; pour a drink offering of strong drink to Jehovah in the sanctuary. ⁸ And you shall offer the other lamb between the evenings, even as the food offering of the morning, and as its drink offering, you shall offer as a sacrifice made by fire, a soothing fragrance to Jehovah. ⁹ And on the sabbath day, two lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones, and two tenth parts of flour, a food offering mixed with oil, and its drink offering; ¹⁰ the burnt offering of the sabbath on its sabbath, besides the continual burnt offering and its drink offering. ¹¹ And in the beginning of your months you shall bring near a burnt offering to Jehovah: two bullocks, sons of the herd, and one ram, seven lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones. ¹² and three tenth parts of flour, a food offering mixed with oil for the one bullock; and two tenths parts of flour as a food offering mixed with oil for the one ram; ¹³ and a tenth part of flour mixed with oil as a food offering for the one lamb; a burnt offering, a soothing fragrance, a fire offering to Jehovah; ¹⁴ and their drink offerings shall be a half of a hin to a bullock, and a third of a hin to a ram, and a fourth of a hin to a lamb, of wine. This shall be the burnt offering of every month for the months of the year. ¹⁵ And one kid of the goats for a sin offering to Jehovah; it shall be prepared besides the continual burnt offering, and its drink offering. ¹⁶ And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the Passover of Jehovah. ¹⁷ And in the fifteenth day of this month a feast: unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days. ¹⁸ In the first day shall be a holy convocation; you shall do no work of service. ¹⁹ And you shall offer a fire offering, a burnt offering to Jehovah: two bullocks, sons of the herd, and one ram, and seven lambs, sons of a year; they shall be perfect ones for you; ²⁰ and their food offering, flour mixed with oil. You shall prepare three tenths parts for a bullock, and two tenths parts for a ram. ²¹ You shall prepare one tenth part for the one lamb, and for the seven lambs; ²² and one goat, a sin offering to atone for you, ²³ besides the burnt offering of the morning, the continual burnt offering, you shall prepare these. ²⁴ In this way you shall prepare daily, seven days, bread for a fire offering, a soothing fragrance to Jehovah. It shall be prepared besides the continual burnt offering and its drink offering. ²⁵ And on the seventh day you shall have a holy gathering; you shall do no work of service. ²⁶ And in the day of the firstfruits, as you offer a new food offering to Jehovah in your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy gathering; you shall do no work of service; ²⁷ and you shall offer a burnt offering for a soothing fragrance to Jehovah: two bullocks, sons of the herd, one ram, seven lambs, sons of a year ²⁸ and their food offering, flour mixed with oil, three tenth parts to the one bullock, two tenth parts to the one ram, ²⁹ one tenth part to the one lamb, for the seven lambs;

³ You shall not eat any abominable thing. ⁴ These are the animals which you shall eat: the ox, the flocked sheep, and the flocked goat, ⁵ the hart and gazelle, and roe deer, and wild goat, and antelope, and oryx, and moufflon. ⁶ And you may eat every animal that divides the hoof, and divides two hoofs wholly, and chews the cud among the animals. ⁷ But you shall not eat of those that only chew the cud, or those only dividing the cloven hoof: the camel, and the hare, and the rock badger; for they chew the cud but do not divide the hoof. They shall be unclean to you. ⁸ And the swine, because it divides the hoof, but does not chew the cud; it is unclean to you. You shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead body. ⁹ These you shall eat of all in the waters: you shall eat all that have fins and scales. ¹⁰ And whatever does not have fins and scales, you shall not eat. It shall be unclean to you. ¹¹ You shall eat of all clean birds. ¹² But you shall not eat of these: the eagle, the black vulture, and the bearded vulture, ¹³ and the hawk, and falcons, and the kite by its kinds, ¹⁴ and all ravens by their kinds; ¹⁵ and the ostrich, and the great owl, and the sea gull, and small hawks by their kinds, ¹⁶ the little owl, and the eared owl, and the barn owl, ¹⁷ and the pelican, and the owl, and the cormorant, ¹⁸ and the stork, and the heron after its kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat. ¹⁹ And every teeming thing that flies shall be unclean to you; they shall not be eaten. ²⁰ You may eat of all clean birds. ²¹ You shall not eat of anything that died of itself. You may give it to the alien who is within your gates, that he may eat it. Or you may sell it to a foreigner. For you are a holy people to Jehovah your God. You shall not simmer a kid in its mother's milk.

¹ Observe the month Abib, and keep the Passover to Jehovah your God. For in the month of Abib Jehovah your God brought you out of Egypt by night. ² And you shall sacrifice a Passover to Jehovah your God of the flock, and of the herd, in the place which He shall choose to cause His name to dwell there. ³ You shall eat no leavened bread with it. You shall eat unleavened bread with it seven days, even the bread of affliction. For you came out of the land of Egypt in haste, so that you may remember the day that you came out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life. ⁴ And there shall be no leaven seen with you in your borders seven days; nor shall any of the flesh which you sacrificed the first day at evening remain all night until the morning. ⁵ You may not sacrifice the Passover offering inside any of your gates, which Jehovah your God gives you. ⁶ But at the place which He shall choose to cause His name to dwell there, you shall sacrifice the Passover offering at evening, at the going of the sun, at the time when you came out of Egypt. ⁷ And you shall cook and eat in the place which Jehovah your God shall choose. And in the morning you shall turn and go into your tents. ⁸ You shall eat unleavened bread six days, and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to Jehovah your God. You shall do no work. ⁹ You shall number to yourself seven weeks. When the sickle begins to reap in the standing grain, you shall begin to number seven weeks. ¹⁰ And you shall keep the Feast of Weeks to Jehovah your God according to the measure of the freewill offering of your hand, which you shall give according as Jehovah your God blesses you. ¹¹ And you shall rejoice before Jehovah your God, you and your son, and your daughter, and your male slave, and your slave-girl, and the Levite that is inside your gates, and the alien, and the fatherless, and the widow that are among you, in the place which Jehovah your God shall choose to cause His name to dwell there. ¹² And you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt; and you shall take heed to do these statutes. ¹³ You shall keep the Feast of Tabernacles seven days after you have gathered in from your threshingfloor, and from your winepress. ¹⁴ And you shall rejoice in your feast, you and your son, and your daughter, and your male slave, and your slave-girl, and the Levite, and the alien, and the fatherless, and the widow that are inside your gates. ¹⁵ You shall keep a solemn feast seven days to Jehovah your God in the place which Jehovah shall choose; for Jehovah your God shall bless you in all your produce, and in every work of your hands, and you shall be altogether joyful. ¹⁶ Three times in a year shall all your males appear before Jehovah your God in the place which He shall choose: In the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and in the Feast of Weeks and in the Feast of Tabernacles. And they shall not appear before Jehovah empty, ¹⁷ but each with his gift of his hand, according to the blessing of Jehovah your God, which He has given you.

⁵ And David said to Jonathan, Behold, the new moon is tomorrow. And I should certainly sit with the king to eat. And you shall send me away, and I shall be hidden in the field until the third evening.

¹⁸ And Jonathan said to him, Tomorrow is the new moon, and you shall be expected, for your seat will be empty.

²³ And he said, Why are you going to him today; it is neither new moon nor sabbath? And she said, Peace.

³¹ And they were to offer all burnt sacrifices to Jehovah in the sabbath, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded to them, continually before the face of Jehovah,

⁹ And Nehemiah the governor, and Ezra the priest, the scribe, and the Levites who taught the people, said to all the people, This day is holy to Jehovah your God. Do not mourn or weep, For all the people wept when they heard the words of the Law.

³¹ And if the people of the land should bring goods or any food to sell on the Sabbath, we would not take from them on the Sabbath, or on the holy day. And they would forego the seventh year, and the interest of every hand.

³³ for the Bread of Arrangement, and for the continual food offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, and all the work of the house of God.

⁴ When I remember these things and I pour out my soul on me (for I passed over with the throng; I led them to the house of God with the voice of rejoicing and praise, a host keeping the feast).

³ Blow the ram's horn in the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.

¹³ Do not add to bringing vain sacrifice; its incense is an abomination to Me. I cannot endure the new moon and sabbath, the going to meeting, and the evil assembly.

¹⁴ Then I said, Ah, Lord Jehovah! Behold, my soul has not been defiled. I have not even eaten a carcass or a torn animal, from my youth even until now. And unclean flesh has not come into my mouth.

¹⁷ And burnt offerings shall be on the prince, and a food offering, and drink offerings, in the feasts and on the new moons and on the sabbaths, in all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel. He shall prepare the sin offering, and the food offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to atone for the house of Israel.

¹ So says the Lord Jehovah: The gate of the inner court that faces the east shall be shut the six working days. But on the sabbath day it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened. ² And the prince shall enter by way of the porch of the gate from outside and shall stand by the gatepost. And the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings. And he shall worship at the threshold of the gate. Then he shall go out, but the gate shall not be shut until the evening. ³ And the people of the land shall worship at the door of that gate on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, before Jehovah.

⁵ saying, When will the new moon have passed, so that we may buy grain? Or the sabbath, so that we may open the wheat, making smaller the ephah, and to enlarge the shekel, and to falsify the deceitful balances,

¹¹ It is not that which has entered into the mouth that defiles the man, but that which has come out of the mouth, this defiles the man.

²⁷ And He said to them, The sabbath came into being for man's sake, not man for the sabbath's sake. ²⁸ So then the Son of man is Lord of the sabbath also.

¹⁹ This is because it does not enter into his heart, but into the belly, and goes out into the wastebowl, purging all the foods.

³ saying, You went in to uncircumcised men and ate with them. ⁴ But beginning, Peter set out to them in order, saying, ⁵ I was being in the city of Joppa, praying. And in an ecstasy, I saw a vision: a certain vessel was coming down, like a huge sheet, being let down by four corners out of the heaven; and it came as far as me. ⁶ Looking intently on this, I observed. And I saw the four-footed animals of the earth, and the wild beasts, and the creeping things, and the birds of the heaven. ⁷ And I heard a voice saying to me, Peter, rise up, slay and eat. ⁸ But I said, Not at all, Lord, because never has anything common or unclean entered into my mouth. ⁹ But a voice answered me the second time out of the heaven, What God has cleansed, you do not make common. ¹⁰ And this took place three times, and all things were pulled up into the heaven again. ¹¹ And, behold, at once three men stood at the house in which I was, having been sent from Caesarea to me. ¹² And the Spirit said to me to go with them, not discriminating. And these six brothers also were with me, and we went into the man's house. ¹³ And he told us how he saw an angel in his house, standing and saying to him, Send men to Joppa, and send for Simon who is surnamed Peter, ¹⁴ who will speak words to you by which you and all your household will be saved. ¹⁵ And in my beginning to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, as also on us in the beginning. ¹⁶ And I recalled the Word of the Lord, how He said, John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit. ¹⁷ Then if God gave the same gift to them as also to us, believing on the Lord Jesus Christ, and I, who was I to be able to prevent God? ¹⁸ And hearing these things, they kept silent and glorified God, saying, Then God also has granted to the nations repentance unto life.

²⁰ but to write to them to hold back from the pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and that strangled, and blood.

² One indeed believes to eat all things, but being weak, another one eats vegetables. ³ The one eating, do not despise the one not eating. And the one not eating, do not judge the one eating, for God received him.

⁵ One indeed judges a day above another day; and another one judges every day alike . Let each one be fully assured in his own mind. ⁶ The one minding the day, he minds it to the Lord. And the one not minding the day, he does not mind it to the Lord. The one eating, he eats to the Lord; for he gives thanks to God. And the one not eating, he does not eat to the Lord, and gives thanks to God.

¹⁰ But why do you judge your brother? Or why also do you despise your brother? For all shall stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

¹³ Then let us no longer judge one another, but rather judge this, not to put a stumbling-block or an offense toward a brother. ¹⁴ I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing by itself is common; except to the one counting anything to be common, it is common. ¹⁵ But if your brother is grieved because of your food, you no longer walk according to love. Do not by your food destroy that one for whom Christ died. ¹⁶ Then do not let your good be spoken evil of. ¹⁷ For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

²⁰ Do not by your food undo the work of God. Truly, all things are clean, but it is bad to the man who eats through a stumbling-block. ²¹ It is good not to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor anything by which your brother stumbles, or is offended, or is weak.

⁷ But the knowledge is not in all; but some being aware of the idol eat as an idolatrous sacrifice until now; and their conscience being weak is defiled. ⁸ But food will not commend us to God. For neither if we eat do we excel, nor if we do not eat are we behind. ⁹ But be careful lest this authority of yours become a cause of stumbling to the weak ones. ¹⁰ For if anyone sees you, the one having knowledge, sitting in an idol-temple, will not the weak one's conscience be lifted up so as to eat things sacrificed to idols? ¹¹ And on your knowledge the weak brother will fall, he for whom Christ died. ¹² And sinning in this way against your brothers, and wounding their conscience, being weak, you sin against Christ. ¹³ On account of this, if food offends my brother, I will not at all eat flesh forever, so that I do not offend my brother.

²⁸ But if anyone tells you, This is slain in sacrifice to idols, do not eat, because of that one pointing it out, and the conscience; for "the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness of it." Psa. 24:1 ²⁹ But I say conscience, not that of himself, but that of the other. For why is my freedom judged by another's conscience? ³⁰ But if I partake by grace, why am I evil spoken of because of what I give thanks for ? ³¹ Then whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all things to the glory of God.

¹² For before some came from James, he ate with the nations. But when they came, he drew back and separated himself, being afraid of those of the circumcision. ¹³ And also the rest of the Jews dissembled with him, so as even Barnabas was led away with their dissembling.

¹⁰ You observe days and months and seasons and years.

³ forbidding to marry, saying to abstain from foods, which God created for partaking with thanksgiving by the believers and those knowing the truth. ⁴ Because every creature of God is good, and nothing to be thrust away, but having been received with thanksgiving; ⁵ for through God's Word and prayerful intercourse, it is sanctified.

¹⁰ but only on foods and drinks, and various washings, and fleshly ordinances, until the time of setting things right has been imposed.

¹¹ Do not speak against one another, brothers. He that speaks against a brother, and is judging a brother, he speaks against law, and judges law. But if you judge law, you are not a doer of law, but a judge.

²⁸ Come to Me, all those laboring and being burdened, and I will give you rest. ²⁹ Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, because I am meek and lowly in heart, "and you will find rest to your souls." Jer. 6:16

¹⁷ For the Law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

¹ Then let us fear lest in any way a promise having been left to enter into His rest, that any of you may seem to come short. ² For, indeed, we have had the gospel preached to us, even as they also; but the word did not profit those hearing it, not having been mixed with faith in the ones who heard. ³ For we, the ones believing, enter into the rest, even as He said, "As I swore in My wrath, they shall not enter into My rest," though the works had come into being from the foundation of the world. LXX-Psa. 94:11, MT-Psa. 95:11 ⁴ For He has spoken somewhere about the seventh day this way, "And God rested from all His works in the seventh day." Gen. 2:2 ⁵ And in this place again, "They shall not enter into My rest." LXX-Psa. 94:11; MT-Psa. 95:11 ⁶ Therefore, since it remains for some to enter into it, and those who formerly had the gospel preached did not enter in on account of disobedience, ⁷ He again marks out a certain day, saying in David, Today (after so long a time, according as He has said), "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts." LXX-Psa. 94:7, 8; MT-Psa. 95:7, 8 ⁸ For if Joshua gave them rest, then He would not have afterwards spoken about another day. ⁹ So, then, there remains a sabbath rest to the people of God. ¹⁰ For he entering into His rest, he himself also rested from His works, as God had rested from His own. LXX-Psa. 95:11, Gen. 2:2 ¹¹ Therefore, let us exert ourselves to enter into that rest, that not anyone fall in the same example of disobedience.

⁵ who serve the pattern of and shadow of heavenly things, even as Moses was divinely warned, being about to make the tabernacle: For He says, "See that you make all things according to the pattern shown to you in the mount." Ex. 25:40

⁹ which was a parable for the present time, according to which both gifts and sacrifices are offered, but as regards conscience, not being able to perfect the one serving,

¹ For the Law had a shadow of the coming good things, not the image itself of those things. Appearing year by year with the same sacrifices, which they offer continually, they never are able to perfect the ones drawing near.

¹³ And Jehovah God said to the woman, What is this you have done? And the woman said, The serpent deceived me, and I ate.

¹⁸ For they are vexers to you, because of the wiles with which they have beguiled you in the matter of Peor, and in the matter of Cozbi the daughter of a ruler of Midian, their sister, who was struck in the day of the plague because of the matter of Peor.

²⁹ The secret things belong to Jehovah our God; and the things revealed belong to us and to our sons forever, that we may do all the words of this law.

² Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?

¹ A Psalm of David. I will thank You with my whole heart; I will sing praise to You before the gods; ² I will worship toward Your holy temple, and give thanks to Your name for Your mercy, and for Your truth; for You have magnified Your word above all Your name.

⁹ And you went to the king with oil and multiplied your perfume. And you sent your messengers far away, and lowered yourself to Sheol.

³ So says the Lord Jehovah, Woe to the foolish prophets who walk after their own spirit and have seen nothing!

³⁸ But in his place he shall honor the god of forces, and he shall honor a god whom his fathers did not know, with gold and silver and with precious stones, and desirable things.

²⁵ who changed the truth of God into the lie, and worshiped and served the created thing more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

⁶ For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace; ⁷ because the mind of the flesh is enmity towards God; for it is not subject to the law of God, for neither can it be . ⁸ And those being in the flesh are not able to please God.

¹⁸ For such ones do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth speaking and flattering they deceive the hearts of those without guile.

³ For you are yet fleshly. For where among you is jealousy, and strife, and divisions, are you not fleshly and walk according to man?

¹⁸ As to my not coming to you now, some were puffed up.

¹ But concerning the sacrifices to idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.

⁵ For even if some are called gods, either in the heavens or on the earth; (even as there are many gods, and many lords); ⁶ but to us is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we by Him.

²⁴ Do you not know that those running in a stadium indeed all run, but one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain.

⁴ Love has patience, is kind; love is not envious; love is not vain, is not puffed up;

²⁰ For I fear lest somehow coming I not find you as I wish, and I be found by you such as you do not wish; lest somehow there be strifes, envyings, angers, rivalries, evil speakings, whisperings, proud thoughts, disturbances;

¹⁹ Now the works of the flesh are clearly revealed, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lustfulness, ²⁰ idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, fightings, jealousies, angers, rivalries, divisions, heresies,

¹⁴ I press on after the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

⁴ And I say this that no one may beguile you with persuasive words.

²³ Which things indeed have a reputation of wisdom in self-imposed worship and humility, and unsparing severity of the body, not in any honor with respect to gratification of the flesh.

⁷ wishing to be teachers of law, neither understanding what they say, nor about that which they confidently affirm.

¹ But the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, cleaving to deceiving spirits and teachings of demons,

¹⁴ But if you have bitter jealousy and contention in your heart, do not boast and lie against the truth. ¹⁵ This is not the wisdom coming down from above, but is earthly, beastly, devilish. ¹⁶ For where jealousy and contention are, there is confusion and every foul deed.

¹ From where do wars and fightings among you come ? Is it not from this, from your lusts warring in your members? ² You desire greatly and do not have. You murder, and are jealous, and are not able to obtain. You fight and you war, and you do not have, because you do not ask God . ³ You ask, and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, in order that you may spend on your lusts. ⁴ Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whoever, then, purposes to be a friend of the world is shown to be an enemy of God. ⁵ Or do you think that vainly the Scripture says, The spirit which has dwelt in us yearns to envy? No OT passage ⁶ But He gives greater grace. Because of this it says, "God sets Himself against proud ones, but He gives grace to humble ones." Prov. 3:34

¹⁴ having eyes full of an adulteress, and never ceasing from sin; alluring unsettled souls; having a heart busied with covetousness; cursed children;

¹ Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are from God; for many false prophets have gone forth into the world. ² By this know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God.

⁷ Because many deceivers went out into the world, those not confessing Jesus Christ to have come in the flesh, this is the deceiver and the antichrist. ⁸ Watch yourselves, that we may not lose the things we worked out, but that we may receive a full reward. ⁹ Everyone transgressing and not abiding in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. The one abiding in the doctrine of Christ, this one has the Father and the Son. ¹⁰ If anyone comes to you and does not bear this doctrine, do not receive him into the house, and do not speak a greeting to him. ¹¹ For the one speaking a greeting shares in his evil works.

¹¹ Behold, I am coming quickly. Hold what you have that no one take your crown.

¹⁴ And it deceives those dwelling on the earth, because of the signs which were given to it to do before the beast, saying to those dwelling on the earth to make an image to the beast who has the wound of the sword, and lived.

¹⁰ And I fell before his feet to worship him, but he said to me, Behold! Stop! I am a fellow-slave of yours, and of your brothers, having the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

⁸ And I, John, was the one seeing and hearing these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel showing me these things. ⁹ And he said to me, Behold! Stop! For I am your fellow-slave, and of your brothers the prophets, and of the ones keeping the words of this Book. Do worship to God.

⁹ He has stripped me of my honor, and He has taken the crown from my head. ¹⁰ He has broken me on every side, and I go; and He has uprooted my hope like a tree. ¹¹ And also His wrath glows against me, and to Himself He counts me as His foe. ¹² His troops come together and they heap up their way against me; and they camp around my tent.

¹⁵ My bones were not hidden from You when I was made in secret; when I was woven in the depths of the earth. ¹⁶ Your eyes saw my embryo; and in Your book all my members were written the days they were formed, and not one was among them.

⁴ Remain in Me, and I in you. As the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself, unless it remain in the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me. ⁵ I am the Vine; you are the branches. He that remains in Me, and I in him, this one bears much fruit. For apart from Me you are not able to do anything. ⁶ Unless one remains in Me, he is cast out as the branch and is dried up; and they gather and throw them into a fire, and they are burned.

¹⁷ But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree were grafted in among them, and became a sharer of the root and the fatness of the olive tree,

⁴ For even as we have many members in one body, but all members do not have the same function, ⁵ so we the many are one body in Christ, and each one members of one another,

¹⁰ Now I exhort you, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that you all say the same thing, and there be no divisions among you, but you be united in the same mind and in the same judgment.

⁶ I planted, Apollos watered, but God made to grow.

¹⁶ The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a partaking of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a partaking of the body of Christ? ¹⁷ Because we, the many, are one bread, one body, for we all partake of the one bread.

¹² Even as the body is one, and has many members, but all the members of the one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. ¹³ For also we all were baptized by one Spirit into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, even all were given to drink into one Spirit. ¹⁴ For also the body is not one member, but many. ¹⁵ If the foot says, Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body, on account of this, is it not of the body? ¹⁶ And if the ear says, Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body, on account of this, is it not of the body? ¹⁷ If all the body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If all hearing, where the smelling? ¹⁸ But now God set the members, each one of them, in the body, even as He desired. ¹⁹ But if all was one member, where would the body be ? ²⁰ But now, indeed, many are the members, but one body. ²¹ And the eye is not able to say to the hand, I have no need of you; or again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. ²² But much rather the members of the body seeming to be weaker are necessary. ²³ And those of the body we think to be less honorable, to these we put more abundant honor around them . And our unpresentable members have more abundant propriety. ²⁴ But our presentable members have no need. But God tempered the body together, giving more abundant honor to the member having need, ²⁵ that there not be division in the body, but that the members might have the same care for one another. ²⁶ And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it . If one member is glorified, all the members rejoice with it . ²⁷ And you are Christ's body, and members in part.

⁶ I wonder that you are so quickly being transferred from Him having called you by the grace of Christ to another gospel, ⁷ which is not another; only there are some troubling you and desiring to pervert the gospel of Christ. ⁸ But even if we, or an angel out of Heaven, should announce a gospel to you beside what we preached to you, let him be accursed. ⁹ As we have said before, and now I say again, If anyone announces a gospel to you beside what you received, let him be accursed.

² Behold, I, Paul, say to you that if you are circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. ³ And I testify again to every man being circumcised, that he is a debtor to do all the Law, ⁴ you who are justified by law are deprived of all effect from Christ, you fell from grace.

²² and He "put all things under His feet" and gave Him to be Head over all things to the church, Psa. 8:6

³ being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

²⁹ for then no one hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as also the Lord the church.

² fulfill my joy, that you think the same, having the same love, one in soul, minding the one thing, ³ doing nothing according to party spirit or self-glory, but in humility, esteeming one another to surpass themselves; ⁴ each not looking at their own things, but each also at the things of others. ⁵ For let this mind be in you which also was in Christ Jesus,

¹⁸ And He is the Head of the body, the church, who is the Beginning, the First-born from the dead, that He be preeminent in all things;

² that their hearts may be comforted, being joined together in love, and to all riches of the full assurance of the understanding, to the full knowledge of the mystery of God, even of the Father and of Christ,

⁶ Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him, ⁷ having been rooted and built up in Him, and having been confirmed in the faith, even as you were taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. ⁸ Watch that there not be one robbing you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the elements of the world, and not according to Christ. ⁹ For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;

¹² And may the Lord make you to increase and to abound in love toward one another and toward all, even as we also toward you,

¹⁰ For you also do it toward the brothers in all Macedonia. But, brothers, we exhort you to abound more.

³ Brothers, we are bound to give thanks to God always concerning you, even as it is right, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each one of you multiplies toward one another,

⁴ who desires all men to be delivered and to come to a full knowledge of truth. ⁵ For God is one, also there is one Mediator of God and of men, the Man Christ Jesus, ⁶ the One having given Himself a ransom on behalf of all, the testimony to be given in its own times,

⁸ And, finally, be all of one mind, sympathetic, loving the brothers, tenderhearted, friendly,

¹⁹ If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, for this reason the world hates you.

¹⁴ I have given them Your Word, and the world hated them because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world. ¹⁵ I do not pray that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from evil. ¹⁶ They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

² Let it not be! We who died to sin, how shall we still live in it? ³ Or are you ignorant that all who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? ⁴ Therefore, we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, so also we should walk in newness of life. ⁵ For if we have been joined together in the likeness of His death, so also shall we be in the resurrection, ⁶ knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be nullified, so that we no longer serve sin. ⁷ For the one that died has been justified from sin.

⁴ So that, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, for you to become Another's, to One raised from the dead, so that we may bear fruit to God. ⁵ For when we were in the flesh, the passions of sin were working in our members through the law for the bearing of fruit unto death. ⁶ But now we have been set free from the law, having died to that in which we were held, so as for us to serve in newness of spirit, and not in oldness of letter.

³ For walking about in flesh, we do not war according to flesh;

¹⁹ For through law I died to law, that I might live to God. ²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; yet no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith toward the Son of God, the One loving me and giving Himself over on my behalf.

⁹ But now, knowing God, but rather being known by God, how do you turn again to the weak and poor elements to which you desire again to slave anew? ¹⁰ You observe days and months and seasons and years. ¹¹ I fear for you, lest somehow I have labored among you in vain. ¹² Brothers, I beg of you, be as I am, because I am as you. You wronged me in nothing.

¹⁴ But may it never be for me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

¹⁵ in His flesh causing to cease the enmity, the Law of the commandments in decrees, that He might in Himself create the two into one new man, making peace,

¹⁴ blotting out the handwriting in the ordinances against us, which was contrary to us, even He has taken it out of the midst, nailing it to the cross;

¹⁶ Then do not let anyone judge you in eating, or in drinking, or in respect of a feast, or the new moon, or of sabbaths,

⁴ Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whoever, then, purposes to be a friend of the world is shown to be an enemy of God.

¹⁹ We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in evil.

³ but of the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat of it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.

¹¹ Turn! Turn! Go out from there! Touch not the unclean! Go out of her midst, purify yourselves, bearers of the vessels of Jehovah.

¹⁷ Because of this, "come out from among them" "and be separated," says the Lord, "and do not touch the unclean thing," and I will receive you. Isa. 52:11

³ forbidding to marry, saying to abstain from foods, which God created for partaking with thanksgiving by the believers and those knowing the truth.

¹³ And the Lord says, Because this people draws near with its mouth, and they honor Me with its lip; but its heart is far from Me, and their fear of Me is taught by the command of men;

¹⁸ And in that day the deaf shall hear the words of a book; and the eyes of the blind shall see out of their gloom and out of darkness.

³⁷ He shall not regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women; yea, he will not come to any god. For he shall magnify himself above all.

¹⁸ And He said to them, Are you also so undiscerning? Do you not perceive that all that enters from the outside into the man is not able to defile him? ¹⁹ This is because it does not enter into his heart, but into the belly, and goes out into the wastebowl, purging all the foods.

²⁷ Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of man will give to you; for God the Father sealed this One.

¹³ Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods, but God will destroy both this and these. But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

¹⁴ not listening to Jewish myths and commandments of men, having turned away from the truth.

¹⁸ And the woman whom you saw is the great city, having a kingdom over the kings of the earth.

⁵ for God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as God, knowing good and evil. ⁶ And the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and the tree was desirable to make one wise. And she took of its fruit and ate; and she also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

²⁷ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitened graves which outwardly indeed appear beautiful, but within are full of bones of the dead, and of all uncleanness. ²⁸ So you also indeed outwardly appear righteous to men, but within are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

¹³ For such ones are false apostles, deceitful workers transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. ¹⁴ Did not Satan marvelously transform himself into an angel of light? ¹⁵ It is not a great thing, then, if also his ministers transform themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

⁸ For bodily exercise is profitable to a little, but godliness is profitable to all things, having promise of the present life and of that coming.
