²¹ For it was better for them not to have fully known the way of righteousness, than fully knowing to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.

³ The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; he ceases to act wisely, to do good. ⁴ He plots evil on his bed; he sets himself on a way that is not good; he does not hate evil.

⁵ And those who turn aside to their crooked ways, Jehovah shall lead them with the evildoers. Peace be upon Israel.

²⁸ In the way of righteousness is life, and in that pathway is no death.

³¹ The gray head is a crown of glory; it is found in the way of righteousness.

²⁰ And when the righteous turns from his righteousness and does injustice, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die. Since you have not warned him, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered. But I will require his blood at your hand.

²⁴ But when the righteous turns from his righteousness and does injustice; according to all the abominations that the wicked do, he does, shall he live? All his righteousness that he has done shall not be remembered in his treason that he has betrayed, and in his sin that he has sinned, in them he shall die.

³² For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him. But the tax-collectors and the harlots believed him. And seeing, you did not repent afterwards to believe him.

⁴⁷ But that slave knowing the will of his Lord, and not preparing, nor doing according to His will, will be beaten with many stripes .

⁴¹ Jesus said to them, If you were blind, you would have no sin. But now you say, We see; therefore, your sin remains.

²² If I had not come and had not spoken to them, they had no sin. But now they do not have excuse as to their sin.

⁴ For it is impossible for those being once enlightened, and having tasted of the heavenly gift, and becoming sharers of the Holy Spirit, ⁵ and tasting the good Word of God, and the works of power of a coming age, ⁶ then falling away, it is impossible for them again to renew to repentance, crucifying again for themselves the Son of God, and putting Him to open shame.

¹⁷ Therefore, to anyone knowing to do good, and not doing it, it is sin to him.
