¹¹ And the smoke of their torture went up _⌊forever and ever_⌋*, and those who worshiped the beast and his image did not have rest day and night, _⌊along with anyone who received_⌋* the mark of his name.

²⁸ And he looked down upon the surface of Sodom and Gomorrah, and upon the whole surface of the land, the plain. And he saw that,* behold, the smoke of the land went up like the smoke of a smelting furnace.

¹⁸ Yahweh will reign as king forever and ever."

⁶⁵ And among these nations you shall not find rest, and there shall not be a resting place for the sole of your foot, and Yahweh shall give you there an anxious heart and a weakening of eyes* and a languishing of your inner self.*

¹⁴ Sinners are afraid in Zion; trembling has seized the godless: "Who of us can _⌊live_⌋* with devouring fire? Who of us can _⌊live_⌋* with everlasting consuming hearths?"

¹⁰ Night and day it shall not be quenched; its smoke shall go up forever. From generation to generation it shall be in ruins; forever and ever there will be no one who passes through her.

²⁰ But* the wicked are like the churning sea, that is not able to keep quiet, and its waters toss up mire and mud.

³⁰ And I will _⌊set_⌋* wonders in the heavens, and on earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke.

²⁸ Come to me, all of you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.

⁴¹ Then he will also say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you accursed ones, into the eternal fire that has been prepared for the devil and his angels!

⁴⁶ And these will depart into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

⁴³ And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off! It is better for you to enter into life crippled than, having two hands, to go into hell—into the unquenchable fire!*

⁴⁵ And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off! It is better for you to enter into life lame than, having two feet, to be thrown into hell!*

⁴⁷ And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out! It is better for you to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye than, having two eyes, to be thrown into hell, ⁴⁸ 'where their worm does not die and the fire is not extinguished.'* ⁴⁹ For everyone will be salted with fire.

²³ And in Hades he lifted up his eyes as he* was in torment and* saw Abraham from a distance, and Lazarus _⌊at his side_⌋.* ²⁴ And he called out and* said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus so that he could dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am suffering pain in this flame!'

⁸ but concerning the Son,
"Your throne, O God, is _⌊forever and ever_⌋*, and the scepter of righteous is the scepter of your kingdom.

⁸ And the four living creatures, _⌊each one_⌋* of them, had six wings apiece, full of eyes around and inside, and they do not have rest day and night, saying,
"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God All-Powerful,* the one who was and the one who is and the one who is coming!" ⁹ And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to the one who is seated on the throne, the one who lives _⌊forever and ever_⌋*, ¹⁰ the twenty-four elders fall down before the one who is seated on the throne and worship the one who lives _⌊forever and ever_⌋*, and put down their crowns before the throne, saying,

¹³ And I heard every creature that is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and in the sea and everything in them saying,
"To the one who is seated on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power* _⌊forever and ever_⌋*." ¹⁴ And the four living creatures were saying, "Amen!" and the elders fell down and worshiped.

¹² saying,
"Amen! Praise and glory, and wisdom and thanksgiving, and honor and power and strength be to our God _⌊forever and ever_⌋*. Amen!"

¹⁵ And the seventh angel blew the trumpet, and there was a loud voice in heaven saying,
"The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign _⌊forever and ever_⌋*."

¹² And he exercises all the authority of the first beast on behalf of him, and he causes the earth and those who live in it to worship the first beast _⌊whose fatal wound had been healed_⌋*.

⁹ And another third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,

¹⁸ and began to cry out when they* saw the smoke of her burning, saying, "Who is like the great city?"

³ And a second time they said,
"Hallelujah!"
And her smoke goes up _⌊forever and ever_⌋*.

¹⁰ And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulphur, where the beast and the false prophet also are, and they will be tormented day and night _⌊forever and ever_⌋*.

⁵ And night will not exist any longer, and they will not have need of the light of a lamp and the light* of the sun, because the Lord God will give light to them, and they will reign _⌊forever and ever_⌋*.
