²⁵ The house of the proud, Yahweh will tear it down, but he will maintain the _⌊property line_⌋* of the widow.

¹⁷ For Yahweh your God, he is God of the gods and Lord of the lords, the great and mighty God, the awesome one who _⌊is not partial_⌋,* and he does not take bribes. ¹⁸ And he executes justice for the orphan and widow, and he is one who loves the alien, to give to them food and clothing.

¹⁴ "You shall not move the boundary marker of your neighbor that _⌊former generations_⌋* set up on your property in the land that Yahweh your God is giving to you to take possession of it.

¹¹ Pour out the overflowing of your anger, and look at all the proud, and humble them. ¹² Look at all the proud, humble them, and tread down the wicked _⌊where they stand_⌋.* ¹³ Hide them in the dust together; bind their faces in the grave.

Why do you boast about evil, O mighty man? The loyal love of God endures _⌊continually_⌋.*

⁵ but God will pull you down forever. He will snatch you and tear you away from your tent, and he will uproot you from the land of the living. Selah

⁵ A father to orphans and a judge for widows is God in his holy habitation. ⁶ God settles the lonely in a home; he brings prisoners out into prosperity. But the rebellious abide in a barren land.

⁶ Though Yahweh is high, yet he sees the lowly, but the proud he perceives* at a distance.

⁹ Yahweh protects* the strangers. He helps up the orphan and the widow, but the way of the wicked he _⌊thwarts_⌋.*

⁷ The wicked are overthrown and _⌊are no more_⌋,* but the house of the righteous shall stand.

¹¹ The house of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent of the upright will flourish.

¹⁰ Do not remove an ancient boundary marker, and on the fields of orphans do not encroach;

¹² For there is a day for Yahweh of hosts against all of the proud and the lofty and against all that is lifted up and humble,*

²⁰ But _⌊when_⌋* his heart became arrogant and his spirit became hard so as to act proudly, he was deposed from the throne of his kingdom and the* glory _⌊was taken away from him_⌋.*

²⁷ Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our* God and Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

⁵ In the same way, younger men, be subject to the elders, and all of you clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
