²⁴ The path of life leads upward for him who has insight, in order to turn away from Sheol below.

¹¹ You will make known to me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. At your right hand are pleasures forever.

²⁴ And see if there is in me _⌊the worship of false gods_⌋,* and lead me in the way everlasting.

¹⁸ for her house sinks to death, and to the dead* are her paths.

⁵ Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold of Sheol.*

²³ For like a lamp is a commandment, and instruction is light, and the way of life* is the reproof of discipline,

²⁷ The ways of Sheol* are her house, descending to chambers of death.

⁸ Do not rebuke a scoffer, lest he hate you; rebuke the wise and he will love you.

¹⁴ As for you, with the rod you shall beat him, and his life* you will save from Sheol.*

¹⁴ because narrow* is the gate and constricted is the road that leads to life, and there are few who find it!

²⁰ For our commonwealth exists in heaven, from which also we eagerly await a savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

¹ Therefore, if you have been raised together with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. ² Set your mind on the things above, not on the things on earth.
