¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

²³ Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

² The same was in the beginning with God.

¹⁴ And the Word was made flesh, and dwelled among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

¹⁸ No man has seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.

³⁰ I and my Father are one. ³¹ Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. ³² Jesus answered them, Many good works have I showed you from my Father; for which of those works do you stone me? ³³ The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone you not; but for blasphemy; and because you, being a man, make yourself God.

²⁸ I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

⁵ And now, O Father, glorify you me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world was.

²⁸ And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God.

⁵ Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen.

⁹ And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world has been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

⁶ Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

¹⁷ And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

¹⁶ And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

¹³ Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

⁸ But unto the Son he says, Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom. ⁹ You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows. ¹⁰ And, You, Lord, in the beginning have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of your hands: ¹¹ They shall perish; but you remain; and they all shall wax old as does a garment; ¹² And as a vesture shall you fold them up, and they shall be changed: but you are the same, and your years shall not fail. ¹³ But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool?

³ Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abides a priest continually.

⁸ Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

¹ Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

¹ That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; ² (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

⁷ For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God is come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

² Who bore record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

⁸ I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, says the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

¹¹ Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What you see, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Youratira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

¹⁷ And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

⁸ And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things says the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;

¹⁴ And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

¹³ And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

⁶ And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
