⁶ But godliness with contentment is great gain.

³² (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. ³³ But seek you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

¹⁴ And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.

³¹ But rather seek you the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. ³² Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

³ And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation works patience; ⁴ And patience, experience; and experience, hope: ⁵ And hope makes not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

²⁸ And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

¹⁷ For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceedingly and eternal weight of glory;

²¹ For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

¹¹ Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. ¹² I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. ¹³ I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

⁸ For bodily exercise profits little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

⁸ And having food and clothing let us be therewith content.

⁵ Let your conduct be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for he has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you.
