¹ Be you followers of me, just as I also am of Christ.

² Let every one of us please his neighbor for his good to edification. ³ For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached you fell on me.

¹⁶ Therefore I beseech you, be followers of me.

³³ Just as I please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

¹ Be you therefore followers of God, as dear children; ² And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour.

⁴ Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. ⁵ Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

¹⁷ Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark those who walk so as you have us for an example.

⁶ And you became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost.

⁹ Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an example unto you to follow us.

¹² That you be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
