² And he had in his hand a little scroll open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,

⁸ Ask of me, and I shall give you the nations for your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.

⁵ By awesome deeds in righteousness will you answer us, O God of our salvation; who is the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:

¹⁵ By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. ¹⁶ By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.

¹⁹ So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

⁹ And when I looked, behold, a hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a scroll of a book was in it; ¹⁰ And he spread it before me; and it was written inside and outside: and there was written in it lamentations, and mourning, and woe.

¹⁸ And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

²⁰ Which he performed in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, ²¹ Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come: ²² And has put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

¹⁰ That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; ¹¹ And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

¹ And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. ² And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the scroll, and to loose the seals thereof? ³ And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the scroll, neither to look thereon. ⁴ And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the scroll, neither to look thereon. ⁵ And one of the elders said unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

¹ And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four living creatures saying, Come and see.

³ And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, Come and see.

⁵ And the angel whom I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,

⁸ And the voice which I heard from heaven spoke unto me again, and said, Go and take the little scroll which is open in the hand of the angel who stands upon the sea and upon the earth. ⁹ And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little scroll. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make your stomach bitter, but it shall be in your mouth sweet as honey. ¹⁰ And I took the little scroll out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my stomach was bitter.
