² You are fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into your lips: therefore God has blessed you forever.

⁶ For you have made him most blessed forever: you have made him exceedingly glad with your presence.

¹⁷ His name shall endure forever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed. ¹⁸ Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only does wondrous things. ¹⁹ And blessed be his glorious name forever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

¹¹ He that loves pureness of heart and has grace on his lips, the king shall be his friend.

³ As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.

¹⁰ My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. ¹¹ His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are wavy, and black as a raven. ¹² His eyes are like doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set. ¹³ His cheeks are like a bed of spices, like sweet flowers: his lips like lilies, dripping sweet smelling myrrh. ¹⁴ His arms are as rounded gold set with beryl: his body is as carved ivory overlaid with sapphires. ¹⁵ His legs are pillars of marble, set upon bases of fine gold: his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars. ¹⁶ His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

⁴ The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he awakens morning by morning, he awakens my ear to hear as the learned.

¹ The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

¹⁷ For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! grain shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maidens.

² And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his clothing was white as the light.

²² And all bore him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?

¹⁴ And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

⁴⁶ The officers answered, Never man spoke like this man.

⁹ Therefore God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: ¹⁰ That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; ¹¹ And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

¹⁵ Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation: ¹⁶ For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: ¹⁷ And he is before all things, and by him all things are held together. ¹⁸ And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

³ Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; ⁴ Being made so much better than the angels, as he has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

²⁶ For such a high priest was befitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

¹³ And in the midst of the seven lampstands one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girded about the breast with a golden belt. ¹⁴ His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; ¹⁵ And his feet like unto fine bronze, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. ¹⁶ And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shines in its strength. ¹⁷ And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: ¹⁸ I am he that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of hades and of death.
