⁷ They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold.

⁴⁰ Thus I was; in the day the heat consumed me, and the cold by night; and my sleep departed from my eyes.

²⁶ If you at all take your neighbor's clothing as pledge, you shall deliver it unto him by the time the sun goes down: ²⁷ For that is his only covering, it is his clothing for his skin: in what shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he cries unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.

¹¹ You shall stand outside, and the man to whom you do lend shall bring out the pledge unto you. ¹² And if the man be poor, you shall not sleep with his pledge: ¹³ In any case you shall deliver him the pledge again when the sun goes down, that he may sleep in his own clothing, and bless you: and it shall be righteousness unto you before the LORD your God.

⁷ Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and that you bring the poor that are cast out to your house? when you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you hide not yourself from your own flesh?

³¹ Then had the churches rest throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, were multiplied.
