⁴¹ And you shall put them upon Aaron your brother, and his sons with him; and shall anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.

¹ And take unto you Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons.

⁴ And these are the garments which they shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and an embroidered coat, a turban, and a band: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.

⁷ Then shall you take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him.

⁹ And you shall gird them with belts, Aaron and his sons, and put the turbans on them: and the priest's office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute: and you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons.

²⁴ And you shall put all in the hands of Aaron, and in the hands of his sons; and shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD.

³⁵ And thus shall you do unto Aaron, and to his sons, according to all things which I have commanded you: seven days shall you consecrate them.

²³ Take also unto you the finest spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet-smelling cinnamon half as much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of sweet-smelling cane two hundred and fifty shekels, ²⁴ And of cassia five hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of olive oil a hin: ²⁵ And you shall make it an oil of holy anointing, an ointment compounded after the art of the perfumer: it shall be a holy anointing oil. ²⁶ And you shall anoint the tabernacle of meeting with it, and the ark of the testimony, ²⁷ And the table and all its utensils, and the lampstand and its utensils, and the altar of incense, ²⁸ And the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the laver and its base. ²⁹ And you shall sanctify them, that they may be most holy: whatsoever touches them shall be holy. ³⁰ And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.

¹⁵ And you shall anoint them, as you did anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

¹ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, ² Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and a bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread; ³ And gather you all the congregation together unto the door of the tabernacle of meeting. ⁴ And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the assembly was gathered together unto the door of the tabernacle of meeting. ⁵ And Moses said unto the congregation, This is the thing which the LORD commanded to be done. ⁶ And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water. ⁷ And he put upon him the coat, and girded him with the belt, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and bound it on him. ⁸ And he put the breastplate upon him: also he put in the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim. ⁹ And he put the turban upon his head; also upon the turban, even upon its front, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses. ¹⁰ And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was therein, and sanctified them. ¹¹ And he sprinkled it upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its vessels, both the laver and its base, to sanctify them. ¹² And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him. ¹³ And Moses brought Aaron's sons, and put coats upon them, and girded them with belts, and put caps upon them; as the LORD commanded Moses. ¹⁴ And he brought the bullock for the sin offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for the sin offering. ¹⁵ And he slew it; and Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement for it. ¹⁶ And he took all the fat that was upon the entrails, and the fat above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses burned it upon the altar. ¹⁷ But the bullock, and its hide, its flesh, and its dung, he burned with fire outside the camp; as the LORD commanded Moses. ¹⁸ And he brought the ram for the burnt offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram. ¹⁹ And he killed it; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about. ²⁰ And he cut the ram into pieces; and Moses burned the head, and the pieces, and the fat. ²¹ And he washed the entrails and the legs in water; and Moses burned the whole ram upon the altar: it was a burnt sacrifice for a sweet aroma, and an offering made by fire unto the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses. ²² And he brought the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram. ²³ And he slew it; and Moses took of the blood of it, and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot. ²⁴ And he brought Aaron's sons, and Moses put some of the blood upon the tip of their right ears, and upon the thumbs of their right hands, and upon the great toes of their right feet: and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about. ²⁵ And he took the fat, and the fat tail, and all the fat that was upon the entrails, and the fat above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right shoulder: ²⁶ And out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was before the LORD, he took one unleavened cake, and a cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and put them on the fat, and upon the right shoulder: ²⁷ And he put all upon Aaron's hands, and upon his sons' hands, and waved them for a wave offering before the LORD. ²⁸ And Moses took them from off their hands, and burned them on the altar upon the burnt offering: they were consecrations for a sweet aroma: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD. ²⁹ And Moses took the breast, and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD: for of the ram of consecration it was Moses' part; as the LORD commanded Moses. ³⁰ And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons' garments with him; and sanctified Aaron, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him. ³¹ And Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of meeting: and there eat it with the bread that is in the basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it. ³² And that which remains of the flesh and of the bread shall you burn with fire. ³³ And you shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of meeting in seven days, until the days of your consecration be at an end: for seven days shall he consecrate you. ³⁴ As he has done this day, so the LORD has commanded to do, to make an atonement for you. ³⁵ Therefore shall you abide at the door of the tabernacle of meeting day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that you die not: for so I am commanded. ³⁶ So Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

⁷ And you shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of meeting, lest you die: for the anointing oil of the LORD is upon you. And they did according to the word of Moses.

³ These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests who were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest's office.

²⁷ And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off your shoulder, and his yoke from off your neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

¹ The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

²⁶ Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves.

³⁴ For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God: for God gives not the Spirit by measure unto him.

²¹ Now he who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, is God; ²² Who has also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

⁴ And no man takes this honor unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.

²⁸ For the law makes men high priests who have weakness; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, makes the Son, who is consecrated forevermore.

²⁰ But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.

²⁷ But the anointing which you have received of him abides in you, and you need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, you shall abide in him.
