¹ And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and without, close sealed with seven seals.

¹⁶ 'Bind up the testimony, seal the instruction among My disciples.'

¹¹ And the vision of all this is become unto you as the words of a writing that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying: 'Read this, I pray thee'; and he saith: 'I cannot, for it is sealed';

¹⁶ Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read; no one of these shall be missing, none shall want her mate; for My mouth it hath commanded, and the breath thereof it hath gathered them.

⁹ And when I looked, behold, a hand was put forth unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein; ¹⁰ and He spread it before me, and it was written within and without; and there was written therein lamentations, and moaning, and woe.

²⁶ And the vision of the evenings and mornings which hath been told is true; but thou, shut thou up the vision; for it belongeth to many days to come.'

⁴ But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.' ⁵ Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on the bank of the river on this side, and the other on the bank of the river on that side. ⁶ And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river: 'How long shall it be to the end of the wonders?' ⁷ And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he lifted up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and swore by Him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have made an end of breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. ⁸ And I heard, but I understood not; then said I: 'O my Lord, what shall be the latter end of these things?' ⁹ And he said: 'Go thy way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed till the time of the end.

³ like a jasper stone to look upon and a sardius; and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in like manner as an emerald to look upon.

⁷ And he came, and he taketh it out of the right hand of him that sat on the throne.

¹³ And every creature which is in the heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all things that are in them, heard I saying, Unto him that sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb, be the blessing, and the honor, and the glory, and the dominion, for ever and ever. Amen.

¹ And I saw that the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder, Come and see.

² and he had in his hand a book open; and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left upon the earth,

⁸ And the voice which I heard from heaven, I heard it again speaking with me, and saying, Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel that standeth upon the sea and upon the earth. ⁹ And I went unto the angel, telling him that he should give me the little book. And he saith unto me, Take it, and eat it up, and it shall make thy belly bitter, but in thy mouth it shall be sweet as honey. ¹⁰ And I took the book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up, and it was in my mouth sweet as honey; and when I had eaten it, my belly was made bitter. ¹¹ And he saith unto me, Thou must prophesy again over many peoples and over nations and tongues and kings.
