¹² (22:13) Many bulls have encompassed me; strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

¹⁴ Curd of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and he-goats, with the kidney-fat of wheat; and of the blood of the grape thou drankest foaming wine. ¹⁵ But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked - thou didst wax fat, thou didst grow thick, thou didst become gross - and he forsook God who made him, and contemned the Rock of his salvation.

³⁰ (68:31) Rebuke the wild beast of the reeds, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the peoples, every one submitting himself with pieces of silver; He hath scattered the peoples that delight in war!

⁷ And the wild-oxen shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be drunken with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.

¹¹ Because ye are glad, because ye rejoice, O ye that plunder My heritage, because ye gambol as a heifer at grass, and neigh as strong horses;

¹⁸ The flesh of the mighty shall ye eat, and the blood of the princes of the earth shall ye drink; rams, lambs, and goats, bullocks, fatlings of Bashan are they all of them.

¹ Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, that oppress the poor, that crush the needy, that say unto their lords: 'Bring, that we may feast.' ² The Lord GOD hath sworn by His holiness: Lo, surely the days shall come upon you, that ye shall be taken away with hooks, and your residue with fish-hooks. ³ And ye shall go out at the breaches, every one straight before her; and ye shall be cast into Harmon, saith the LORD.

¹ Now when morning was come, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:

²⁷ for of a truth against thy holy Servant Jesus, whom thou didst anoint, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, were gathered together,
