⁹⁴ I am Thine, save me; for I have sought Thy precepts.

⁴ 'Come up unto me, and help me, and let us smite Gibeon; for it hath made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel.' ⁵ Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and encamped against Gibeon, and made war against it. ⁶ And the men of Gibeon sent unto Joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying: 'Slack not thy hands from thy servants; come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us; for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the hill-country are gathered together against us.'

² Keep my soul, for I am godly; O Thou my God, save Thy servant that trusteth in Thee.

²⁷ Make me to understand the way of Thy precepts, that I may talk of Thy wondrous works.

⁴⁰ Behold, I have longed after Thy precepts; quicken me in Thy righteousness.

¹⁷³ Let Thy hand be ready to help me; for I have chosen Thy precepts.

⁸ But thou, Israel, My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham My friend; ⁹ Thou whom I have taken hold of from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the uttermost parts thereof, and said unto thee: 'Thou art My servant, I have chosen thee and not cast thee away'; ¹⁰ Fear thou not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God; I strengthen thee, yea, I help thee; yea, I uphold thee with My victorious right hand.

² Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, who will help thee: Fear not, O Jacob My servant, and thou, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.

⁵ One shall say: 'I am the LORD'S'; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.

⁸ (64:7) But now, O LORD, Thou art our Father; we are the clay, and Thou our potter, and we all are the work of Thy hand. ⁹ (64:8) Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever; behold, look, we beseech Thee, we are all Thy people. ¹⁰ (64:9) Thy holy cities are become a wilderness, Zion is become a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.

¹⁷ The LORD thy God is in the midst of thee, a Mighty One who will save; He will rejoice over thee with joy, He will be silent in His love, He will joy over thee with singing.'

²³ For there stood by me this night an angel of the God whose I am, whom also I serve, ²⁴ saying, Fear not, Paul, thou must stand before Caesar; and lo, God hath granted thee all them that sail with thee.
