⁹⁰ Thy faithfulness is unto all generations; Thou hast established the earth, and it standeth.

⁹ Know therefore that the LORD thy God, He is God; the faithful God, who keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations;

⁴ Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if thou hast the understanding. ⁵ Who determined the measures thereof, if thou knowest? Or who stretched the line upon it? ⁶ Whereupon were the foundations thereof fastened? Or who laid the corner-stone thereof, ⁷ When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

¹¹ (89:12) Thine are the heavens, Thine also the earth; the world and the fulness thereof, Thou hast founded them.

¹ The LORD reigneth; He is clothed in majesty; the LORD is clothed, He hath girded Himself with strength; yea, the world is established, that it cannot be moved.

⁵ For the LORD is good; His mercy endureth for ever; and His faithfulness unto all generations.

⁵ Who didst establish the earth upon its foundations, that it should not be moved for ever and ever;

⁶ He hath also established them for ever and ever; He hath made a decree which shall not be transgressed.

⁴ One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh; and the earth abideth for ever.

⁵ For this they willfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an earth compacted out of water and amidst water, by the word of God, ⁶ by which means the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: ⁷ but the heavens that now are, and the earth, by his word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
