³ Happy are they that keep justice, that do righteousness at all times.

¹⁹ (5:17) Neither shalt thou steal.

¹ Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep His charge, and His statutes, and His ordinances, and His commandments, alway.

¹ Happy is the man that hath not walked in the counsel of the wicked, nor stood in the way of sinners, nor sat in the seat of the scornful. ² But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in His law doth he meditate day and night. ³ And he shall be like a tree planted by streams of water, that bringeth forth its fruit in its season, and whose leaf doth not wither; and in whatsoever he doeth he shall prosper.

² He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh truth in his heart;

¹¹ (84:12) For the LORD God is a sun and a shield; the LORD giveth grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly. ¹² (84:13) O LORD of hosts, happy is the man that trusteth in Thee.

¹ ALEPH. Happy are they that are upright in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. ² Happy are they that keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart. ³ Yea, they do no unrighteousness; they walk in His ways.

²⁰ My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto Thine ordinances at all times.

⁴⁴ So shall I observe Thy law continually for ever and ever;

¹⁰⁶ I have sworn, and have confirmed it, to observe Thy righteous ordinances.

¹¹² I have inclined my heart to perform Thy statutes, for ever, at every step.

¹ Thus saith the LORD: Keep ye justice, and do righteousness; for My salvation is near to come, and My favour to be revealed. ² Happy is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that holdeth fast by it: that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

⁵ (64:4) Thou didst take away him that joyfully worked righteousness, those that remembered Thee in Thy ways - behold, Thou wast wroth, and we sinned - upon them have we stayed of old, that we might be saved.

¹⁵ Shalt thou reign, because thou strivest to excel in cedar? Did not thy father eat and drink, and do justice and righteousness? Then it was well with him. ¹⁶ He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well. Is not this to know Me? saith the LORD.

²¹ But if the wicked turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all My statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. ²² None of his transgressions that he hath committed shall be remembered against him; for his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.

³⁵ For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

⁷⁴ To grant unto us that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies Should serve him without fear, ⁷⁵ In holiness and righteousness before him all our days.

⁴⁷ Every one that cometh unto me, and heareth my words, and doeth them, I will show you to whom he is like; ⁴⁸ he is like a man building a house, who digged and went deep, and laid a foundation upon the rock; and when a flood arose, the stream brake against that house, and could not shake it; for it had been founded upon the rock. ⁴⁹ But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that built a house upon the earth without a foundation, against which the stream brake, and straightway it fell in, and the ruin of that house was great.

²⁸ But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

⁴² But woe unto you Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and every herb, and pass over justice and the love of God; but these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

¹⁷ If ye know these things, blessed are ye if ye do them.

²¹ He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me; and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself unto him. ²² Judas (not Iscariot) saith unto him, Lord, what is come to pass that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? ²³ Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my word; and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

¹⁴ Ye are my friends, if ye do the things which I command you.

¹⁶ Herein I also exercise myself, having a conscience void of offense toward God and men always.

⁷ to them that by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and incorruption, eternal life:

⁹ And let us not be weary in well-doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

²⁵ But he that looketh into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and so continueth, he being not a hearer that forgetteth but a doer that worketh, this man shall be blessed in his doing.

¹⁵ Therefore are they before the throne of God, and they serve him day and night in his temple; and he that sitteth on the throne shall spread his tabernacle over them.

¹⁴ Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.
