²³ For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, He hath also rejected thee from being king.'

⁹ For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of his Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you, always in my prayers

⁶ God forbid; for then how shall God judge the world?

² God forbid. We who died to sin, how shall we any longer live therein?

²⁸ And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose.

¹⁴ What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.

² For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

⁹ Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil, cleave to that which is good.

¹⁰ Now I beseech you, brethren, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you, but that ye be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

⁴ in the name of our Lord Jesus, ye being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus,

⁶ Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

⁸ Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

¹¹ Now these things happened unto them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages are come.

²⁵ and thus the secrets of his heart are made manifest, and so he will fall down on his face and worship God, declaring that God is among you indeed.

⁵⁸ Wherefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not vain in the Lord.

¹¹ Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest unto God, and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences.

⁷ and not by his coming only, but also by the comfort wherewith he was comforted in you, while he told us your longing, your mourning, your zeal for me, so that I rejoiced yet more.

¹¹ Wherefore? because I love you not? God knoweth.

³¹ The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, he who is blessed for evermore knoweth that I lie not.

¹ Paul, an apostle (not from men, neither through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead), ² and all the brethren that are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:

¹⁷ They zealously seek you in no good way, nay, they desire to shut you out, that ye may seek them. ¹⁸ But it is good to be zealously sought in a good matter at all times, and not only when I am present with you.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ:

²³ But I am in a strait betwixt the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for it is very far better: ²⁴ yet to abide in the flesh is more needful for your sake. ²⁵ And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide, yea, and abide with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith, ²⁶ that your glorying may abound in Christ Jesus in me through my presence with you again. ²⁷ Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ; that, whether I come and see you or be absent, I may hear of your state, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the gospel,

⁶ But when Timothy came even now unto us from you, and brought us glad tidings of your faith and love, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, longing to see us, even as we also to see you, ⁷ for this cause, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our distress and affliction through your faith: ⁸ for now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.

¹⁶ who only hath immortality, dwelling in light unapproachable, whom no man hath seen, nor can see; to whom be honor and power eternal. Amen.

¹³ And there is no creature that is not manifest in his sight; but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

¹¹ And we desire that each one of you may show the same diligence unto the fullness of hope even to the end: ¹² that ye be not sluggish, but imitators of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

⁶ but he whose genealogy is not counted from them hath taken tithes of Abraham, and hath blessed him that hath the promises. ⁷ But without any dispute the less is blessed of the better.

⁵ who serve that which is a copy and shadow of the heavenly things, even as Moses is warned of God when he is about to make the tabernacle; for, See, saith he, thou shalt make all things according to the pattern that was showed thee in the mount.

²⁶ accounting the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he looked unto the recompense of reward.

¹⁵ looking carefully lest there be any man that falleth short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby the many be defiled,

²⁵ See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not when they refused him that warned them on earth, much more shall not we escape who turn away from him that warneth from heaven:

¹² Blessed is the man that endureth temptation, for when he hath been approved, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to them that love him.

¹⁹ Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

⁵ Hearken, my beloved brethren, did not God choose the poor of the world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he promised to them that love him?

¹⁵ but sanctify in your hearts the Lord God; and be ready always to give answer to every man that asketh you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear:

⁵ Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue, and in your virtue knowledge, ⁶ and in your knowledge self-control, and in your self-control patience, and in your patience godliness, ⁷ and in your godliness brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness love. ⁸ For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful unto the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁹ For he that lacketh these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins. ¹⁰ Wherefore, brethren, give the more diligence to make your calling and election sure; for if ye do these things, ye shall never stumble:

⁶ and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, having made them an example unto those that should live impiously,

² Hereby we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments. ³ For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments; and his commandments are not grievous.

⁵ Now I desire to put you in remembrance, ye knowing this once, that the Lord, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. ⁶ And angels that kept not their own principality, but left their proper habitation, he hath kept in everlasting bonds under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

²³ And I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am he that searcheth the reins and hearts; and I will give unto each one of you according to your works.

¹⁶ And he hath on his garment and on his thigh a name written, KINGS OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
