Job 13:1 Cross References - JPS_ASV_Byz

1 Lo, mine eye hath seen all this, mine ear hath heard and understood it.

Job 4:12

12 Now a word was secretly brought to me, and mine ear received a whisper thereof.

Job 5:9-16

9 Who doeth great things and unsearchable, marvellous things without number; 10 Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields; 11 So that He setteth up on high those that are low, and those that mourn are exalted to safety. 12 He frustrateth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands can perform nothing substantial. 13 He taketh the wise in their own craftiness; and the counsel of the wily is carried headlong. 14 They meet with darkness in the day-time, and grope at noonday as in the night. 15 But He saveth from the sword of their mouth, even the needy from the hand of the mighty. 16 So the poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth.

Job 5:27

27 Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know thou it for thy good.

Job 8:8-10

8 For inquire, I pray thee, of the former generation, and apply thyself to that which their fathers have searched out - 9 For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow - 10 Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart?

Job 12:9-25

9 Who knoweth not among all these, that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this? 10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. - 11 Doth not the ear try words, even as the palate tasteth its food? 12 Is wisdom with aged men, and understanding in length of days? - 13 With Him is wisdom and might; He hath counsel and understanding. 14 Behold, He breaketh down, and it cannot be built again; He shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening. 15 Behold, He withholdeth the waters, and they dry up; also He sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth. 16 With Him is strength and sound wisdom; the deceived and the deceiver are His. 17 He leadeth counsellors away stripped, and judges maketh He fools. 18 He looseth the bond of kings, and bindeth their loins with a girdle. 19 He leadeth priests away stripped, and overthroweth the mighty. 20 He removeth the speech of men of trust, and taketh away the sense of the elders. 21 He poureth contempt upon princes, and looseth the belt of the strong. 22 He uncovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death. 23 He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them; He enlargeth the nations, and leadeth them away. 24 He taketh away the heart of the chiefs of the people of the land, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way. 25 They grope in the dark without light, and He maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.

Job 15:17-18

17 I will tell thee, hear thou me; and that which I have seen I will declare - 18 Which wise men have told from their fathers, and have not hid it;

Job 42:3-6

3 Who is this that hideth counsel without knowledge? Therefore have I uttered that which I understood not, things too wonderful for me, which I knew not. 4 Hear, I beseech Thee, and I will speak; I will demand of Thee, and declare Thou unto me. 5 I had heard of Thee by the hearing of the ear; but now mine eye seeth Thee; 6 Wherefore I abhor my words, and repent, seeing I am dust and ashes.

Psalms 78:3-4

3 That which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us, 4 We will not hide from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and His strength, and His wondrous works that He hath done.

1 John 1:3

3 that which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us; yea, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ:
