³ And thou shalt come unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him: 'I profess this day unto the LORD thy God, that I am come unto the land which the LORD swore unto our fathers to give us.'

⁸ And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land of thy sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.'

³ Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath which I swore unto Abraham thy father;

¹⁷ then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges that shall be in those days.

⁹ The covenant which He made with Abraham, and His oath unto Isaac; ¹⁰ And He established it unto Jacob for a statute, to Israel for an everlasting covenant;

⁷² To show mercy towards, our fathers, And to remember his holy covenant, ⁷³ The oath which he spake unto Abraham our father,

¹⁶ For men verily swear by the greater; and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation. ¹⁷ Wherein God, being minded to show more abundantly unto the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath, ¹⁸ that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us:

²⁶ For such a high priest became us, holy, guileless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens,

²¹ and having a great priest over the house of God,

¹⁵ Through him then let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which make confession to his name.

⁵ ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
