³¹ inasmuch as he hath appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he hath ordained, whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

⁴⁶ and he said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and rise again from the dead the third day, ⁴⁷ and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. ⁴⁸ Ye are witnesses of these things.

²² For neither doth the Father judge any man, but he hath given all judgment unto the Son, ²³ that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father that sent him.

²³ him, being delivered up by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye having taken by the hands of lawless men, did crucify and slay: ²⁴ whom God raised up, having loosed the pangs of death; because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

³² This Jesus did God raise up, whereof we all are witnesses.

³⁰ But God raised him from the dead: ³¹ and he was seen for many days of them that came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now his witnesses unto the people.

¹⁸ And certain also of the Epicurean and Stoic philosophers encountered him. And some said, What would this babbler say? others, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods; because he preached Jesus and the resurrection.

⁵ but after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up for thyself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God,

⁵ Wherefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and make manifest the counsels of the hearts, and then shall each man have his praise from God.

³ For I delivered unto you first of all that which also I received; that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, ⁴ and that he was buried, and that he hath been raised on the third day according to the scriptures, ⁵ and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve, ⁶ then he appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain until now, but some are fallen asleep, ⁷ then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, ⁸ and last of all, as to the child untimely born, he appeared to me also.

¹⁰ For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

¹ I charge thee in the sight of God, and of the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom:

⁷ but the heavens that now are, and the earth, by his word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

¹⁴ And to these also Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones, ¹⁵ to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all that are ungodly among them of all their works of ungodliness which they have impiously wrought, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
