⁴² So you must be on the watch, for you do not know on what day your Master is coming.

⁶⁴ Jesus said to him, "It is true. But I tell you you will soon see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the Almighty and coming upon the clouds of the sky!"

¹ And he said to them, "I tell you, some of you who stand here will certainly live to see the reign of God come in its might."

²⁶ Then they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds with great power and glory,

²⁶ It had been revealed to him by the holy Spirit that he should not die without seeing the Lord's Messiah.

²⁷ I tell you, some of you who stand here will certainly live to see the Kingdom of God!"

⁸ I tell you, he will make haste to provide it! But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?"

⁵² The Jews said to him, "Now we are sure that you are possessed! Abraham is dead and so are the prophets, and yet you say, 'If anyone observes my teaching, he will never know what death is!'

¹⁰ and to wait for the coming from heaven of his Son, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, our deliverer from God's coming wrath.

⁹ but we do see Jesus, who was "made for a little while inferior to angels, crowned with glory and honor" because he suffered death, so that by the favor of God he might taste the bitterness of death on behalf of every human being.
