⁴ We are buried then with him by baptisme into his death, that like as Christ was raysed vp from the dead to the glorie of the Father, so we also should walke in newnesse of life.

² And behold, there was a great earthquake: for the Angel of the Lord descended from heauen, and came and rolled backe the stone from the doore, and sate vpon it. ³ And his countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snowe.

¹¹ This beginning of miracles did Iesus in Cana a towne of Galile, and shewed forth his glorie: and his disciples beleeued on him.

¹⁹ Iesus answered, and said vnto them, Destroy this Temple, and in three daies I will raise it vp againe. ²⁰ Then said the Iewes, Fourtie and sixe yeeres was this Temple a building, and wilt thou reare it vp in three daies?

⁴⁰ Iesus saide vnto her, Saide I not vnto thee, that if thou diddest beleeue, thou shouldest see the glorie of God?

²⁴ Whome God hath raised vp, and loosed the sorrowes of death, because it was vnpossible that he should be holden of it.

³ Knowe ye not, that all we which haue bene baptized into Iesus Christ, haue bene baptized into his death?

⁹ Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead, dieth no more: death hath no more dominion ouer him.

¹⁹ I speake after the maner of man, because of the infirmitie of your flesh: for as yee haue giuen your members seruants to vncleannes and to iniquitie, to commit iniquitie, so now giue your mebers seruants vnto righteousnesse in holinesse.

⁶ But now we are deliuered from the Lawe, he being dead in whom we were holden, that we should serue in newnesse of Spirite, and not in the oldnesse of the letter.

¹¹ But if the Spirit of him that raised vp Iesus from the dead, dwell in you, he that raised vp Christ from the dead, shall also quicken your mortall bodies, by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

¹ I Beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that yee giue vp your bodies a liuing sacrifice, holy, acceptable vnto God, which is your reasonable seruing of God. ² And fashion not your selues like vnto this worlde, but bee yee changed by the renewing of your minde, that ye may prooue what that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God is.

¹³ So that wee walke honestly, as in the day: not in gluttonie, and drunkennesse, neither in chambering and wantonnes, nor in strife and enuying. ¹⁴ But put yee on the Lord JESUS CHRIST, and take no thought for the flesh, to fulfill the lustes of it.

¹⁴ And God hath also raised vp the Lord, and shall raise vs vp by his power.

¹⁷ Therefore if any man be in Christ, let him be a newe creature. Olde things are passed away: beholde, all things are become newe.

⁴ For though hee was crucified concerning his infirmitie, yet liueth hee through the power of God. And wee no doubt are weake in him, but we shall liue with him, through the power of God towarde you.

¹⁵ For in Christ Iesus neither circumcision auaileth any thing, nor vncircumcision, but a newe creature. ¹⁶ And as many as walke according to this rule, peace shalbe vpon them, and mercie, and vpon the Israel of God.

¹⁹ And what is the exceeding greatnesse of his power toward vs, which beleeue, according to the working of his mightie power, ²⁰ Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his right hand in the heauenly places,

⁵ Euen when we were dead by sinnes, hath quickened vs together in Christ, by whose grace ye are saued, ⁶ And hath raysed vs vp together, and made vs sit together in the heauenly places in Christ Iesus,

¹⁷ This I say therefore and testifie in the Lord, that yee hencefoorth walke not as other Gentiles walke, in vanitie of their minde,

²² That is, that yee cast off, concerning the conuersation in time past, that olde man, which is corrupt through the deceiueable lustes, ²³ And be renued in the spirit of your minde, ²⁴ And put on ye new man, which after God is created vnto righteousnes, and true holines.

⁸ For ye were once darkenesse, but are nowe light in the Lord: walke as children of light,

¹⁷ Brethren, bee followers of mee, and looke on them, which walke so, as yee haue vs for an ensample. ¹⁸ For many walke, of whom I haue told you often, and nowe tell you weeping, that they are the enemies of the Crosse of Christ:

⁹ For this cause wee also, since the day wee heard of it, cease not to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be fulfilled with knowledge of his will in all wisdome, and spirituall vnderstanding, ¹⁰ That ye might walke worthy of the Lord, and please him in all things, being fruitefull in all good workes, and increasing in the knowledge of God, ¹¹ Strengthened with all might through his glorious power, vnto all patience, and long suffering with ioyfulnesse, ¹² Giuing thankes vnto the Father, which hath made vs meete to be partakers of the inheritance of the Saintes in light,

¹¹ In whome also yee are circumcised with circumcision made without handes, by putting off the sinfull body of the flesh, through the circumcision of Christ, ¹² In that yee are buried with him through baptisme, in whome ye are also raised vp together through the faith of the operation of God, which raised him from the dead. ¹³ And you which were dead in sinnes, and in the vncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, forgiuing you all your trespasses,

¹ If yee then bee risen with Christ, seeke those thinges which are aboue, where Christ sitteth at the right hand of God. ² Set your affections on things which are aboue, and not on things which are on the earth. ³ For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

¹⁰ And haue put on the newe, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him,

¹ Ye masters, doe vnto your seruants, that which is iust, and equall, knowing that ye also haue a master in heauen.

²¹ Whereof the baptisme that nowe is, answering that figure, (which is not a putting away of the filth of the flesh, but a confident demaunding which a good conscience maketh to God) saueth vs also by the resurrection of Iesus Christ,

¹ Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for vs in the flesh, arme your selues likewise with the same minde, which is, that he which hath suffered in the flesh, hath ceased from sinne, ² That he hence forward should liue (as much time as remaineth in the flesh) not after the lusts of men, but after the will of God.

⁴ Whereby most great and precious promises are giuen vnto vs, that by them ye should be partakers of the diuine nature, in that ye flee the corruption, which is in the worlde through lust. ⁵ Therefore giue euen all diligence thereunto: ioyne moreouer vertue with your faith: and with vertue, knowledge: ⁶ And with knowledge, temperance: and with temperance, patience: and with patience, godlines: ⁷ And with godlines, brotherly kindnes: and with brotherly kindnes, loue. ⁸ For if these things be among you, and abound, they will make you that ye neither shalbe idle, nor vnfruitfull in the acknowledging of our Lord Iesus Christ: ⁹ For he that hath not these things, is blinde, and can not see farre off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his olde sinnes.

⁶ He that saith he remaineth in him, ought euen so to walke, as he hath walked.
