¹⁸ Vnto them that keepe his couenant, and thinke vpon his commandements to doe them.

⁹ Againe God said vnto Abraham, Thou also shalt keepe my couenant, thou, and thy seede after thee in their generations. ¹⁰ This is my couenant which ye shall keepe betweene me and you, and thy seede after thee, Let euery man childe among you be circumcised:

⁵ Now therefore if ye wil heare my voyce in deede, and keepe my couenant, then ye shalbe my chiefe treasure aboue all people, though all the earth be mine.

⁸ Then Moses tooke the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold, the blood of the couenant, which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these things.

²³ Take heede vnto your selues, least ye forget the couenant of the Lord your God which hee made with you, and least ye make you any grauen image, or likenes of any thing, as the Lord thy God hath charged thee.

⁶ And these wordes which I commaund thee this day, shalbe in thine heart. ⁷ And thou shalt rehearse them continually vnto thy children, and shalt talke of them when thou tariest in thine house, and as thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest downe, and when thou risest vp: ⁸ And thou shalt binde them for a signe vpon thine hand, and they shalbe as frontlets betweene thine eyes. ⁹ Also thou shalt write them vpon ye postes of thine house, and vpon thy gates.

⁹ That thou mayest knowe, that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithfull God which keepeth couenant and mercie vnto them that loue him and keepe his commandements, euen to a thousand generations,

³¹ And the King stood by his pillar, and made a couenant before the Lord, to walke after the Lord, and to keepe his commandements, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his soule, and that he would accomplish the wordes of the couenant written in the same booke.

¹⁰ All the pathes of the Lord are mercie and trueth vnto such as keepe his couenant and his testimonies.

⁹ BETH. Wherewith shall a yong man redresse his waie? in taking heede thereto according to thy woorde. ¹⁰ With my whole heart haue I sought thee: let me not wander from thy commandements. ¹¹ I haue hid thy promise in mine heart, that I might not sinne against thee.

¹² If thy sonnes keepe my couenant, and my testimonies, that I shall teach them, their sonnes also shall sit vpon thy throne for euer.

¹ My sonne, forget not thou my Lawe, but let thine heart keepe my commandements.

²⁰ Teaching them to obserue all things, whatsoeuer I haue commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, vntill the ende of the worlde, Amen.

⁶ Both were iust before God, and walked in all the commandements and ordinances of the Lord, without reproofe.

¹⁶ And herein I endeuour my selfe to haue alway a cleare conscience towarde God, and toward men.

¹ And furthermore we beseeche you, brethren, and exhort you in the Lord Iesus, that ye increase more and more, as ye haue receiued of vs, how ye ought to walke, and to please God.

⁶ But nowe our hie Priest hath obteined a more excellent office, in as much as he is the Mediatour of a better Testament, which is established vpon better promises. ⁷ For if that first Testament had bene vnblameable, no place should haue bene sought for the second. ⁸ For in rebuking them he saith, Beholde, the dayes will come, saith the Lord, when I shall make with the house of Israel, and with the house of Iuda a newe Testament: ⁹ Not like the Testament that I made with their fathers, in the day that I tooke them by the hand, to leade them out of the land of Egypt: for they continued not in my Testament, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. ¹⁰ For this is the Testament that I will make with the house of Israel, After those dayes, saith the Lord, I will put my Lawes in their minde, and in their heart I will write them, and I wil be their God, and they shalbe my people, ¹¹ And they shall not teache euery man his neighbour and euery man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall knowe me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. ¹² For I will bee mercifull to their vnrighteousnes, and I wil remember their sinnes and their iniquities no more. ¹³ In that he saith a new Testament, he hath abrogate the olde: nowe that which is disanulled and waxed olde, is ready to vanish away.
