¹⁹ The way of a slouthfull man is as an hedge of thornes: but the way of the righteous is plaine.

¹ Then all ye Congregation lifted vp their voice, and cryed: and the people wept that night, ² And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron: and the whole assemblie said vnto them, Would God we had died in the land of Egypt, or in this wildernesse: would God we were dead. ³ Wherefore nowe hath the Lord brought vs into this lande to fall vpon the sworde? our wiues, and our children shall be a pray: were it not better for vs to returne into Egypt?

⁷ And spake vnto all the assemblie of the childre of Israel, saying, The land which we walked through to search it, is a very good lande. ⁸ If the Lord loue vs, he will bring vs into this land, and giue it vs, which is a land that floweth with milke and honie. ⁹ But rebell not ye against the Lord, neither feare ye the people of the land: for they are but bread for vs: their shielde is departed from the, and the Lord is with vs, feare them not.

⁸ Leade me, O Lord, in thy righteousnes, because of mine enemies: make thy way plaine before my face.

⁸ Gracious and righteous is the Lord: therefore will he teache sinners in the way. ⁹ Them that be meeke, will hee guide in iudgement, and teach the humble his way.

¹² What man is he that feareth the Lord? him wil he teache the way that hee shall chuse.

¹¹ Teache mee thy way, O Lord, and leade me in a right path, because of mine enemies.

⁶ In all thy wayes acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy wayes.

⁹ They are all plaine to him that will vnderstande, and streight to them that woulde finde knowledge.

⁵ Thornes and snares are in the way of the frowarde: but he that regardeth his soule, will depart farre from them.

¹³ The slouthfull man saith, A lyon is without, I shall be slaine in the streete.

²¹ And thine eares shall heare a worde behind thee, saying, This is the way, walke ye in it, when thou turnest to the right hand, and when thou turnest to the left.

⁸ And there shalbe a path and a way, and the way shalbe called holy: the polluted shall not passe by it: for he shalbe with them, and walke in the way, and the fooles shall not erre.

¹⁴ And he shall say, Cast vp, cast vp: prepare the way: take vp the stumbling blocks out of the way of my people.
