² And sixe dayes after, Iesus taketh vnto him Peter, and Iames, and Iohn, and carieth them vp into an hie mountaine out of the way alone, and his shape was changed before them.

¹³ Then Moses rose vp, and his minister Ioshua, and Moses went vp into the mountaine of God,

²⁹ So when Moses came downe from mount Sinai, the two Tables of the Testimonie were in Moses hande, as hee descended from the mount: (nowe Moses wist not that the skinne of his face shone bright, after that God had talked with him. ³⁰ And Aaron and all the children of Israel looked vpon Moses, and beholde, the skin of his face shone bright, and they were afraid to come neere him) ³¹ But Moses called them: and Aaron and all the chiefe of the congregation returned vnto him: and Moses talked with them. ³² And afterwarde all the children of Israel came neere, and he charged them with al that the Lord had said vnto him in mount Sinai. ³³ So Moses made an end of comuning with them, and had put a couering vpon his face. ³⁴ But, when Moses came before the Lord to speake with him, he tooke off the couering vntill he came out: then he came out, and spake vnto the children of Israel that which he was commanded. ³⁵ And the children of Israel sawe the face of Moses, howe the skin of Moses face shone bright: therefore Moses put the couering vpon his face, vntill he went to speake with God.

³³ And he put the wood in order, and hewed the bullocke in pieces, and layd him on the wood,

⁴² So Ahab went vp to eate and to drinke, and Eliiah went vp to the top of Carmel: and he crouched vnto the earth, and put his face betweene his knees,

¹⁷ Thine eyes shall see the King in his glory: they shall beholde the lande farre off.

² But hee shall growe vp before him as a branche, and as a roote out of a dry grounde: he hath neither forme nor beautie: when we shall see him, there shall be no forme that wee should desire him.

¹³ And when Iesus heard it, hee departed thence by shippe into a desert place apart. And when the multitude had heard it, they followed him on foote out of the cities.

¹ And after sixe dayes, Iesus tooke Peter, and Iames and Iohn his brother, and brought them vp into an hie mountaine apart, ² And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the Sunne, and his clothes were as white as the light. ³ And beholde, there appeared vnto them Moses, and Elias, talking with him. ⁴ Then answered Peter, and saide to Iesus, Master, it is good for vs to be here: if thou wilt, let vs make here three tabernacles, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. ⁵ While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloude shadowed them: and beholde, there came a voyce out of the cloude, saying, This is that my beloued Sonne, in whom I am well pleased: heare him. ⁶ And when the disciples heard that, they fell on their faces, and were sore afraide. ⁷ Then Iesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraide. ⁸ And when they lifted vp their eyes, they sawe no man, saue Iesus onely.

¹¹ And Iesus answered, and saide vnto them, Certeinely Elias must first come, and restore all thinges. ¹² But I say vnto you that Elias is come alreadie, and they knewe him not, but haue done vnto him whatsoeuer they would: likewise shall also the Sonne of man suffer of them. ¹³ Then the disciples perceiued that he spake vnto them of Iohn Baptist.

³⁷ And he suffered no man to follow him saue Peter and Iames, and Iohn the brother of Iames.

³³ And hee tooke with him Peter, and Iames, and Iohn, and hee began to be troubled, and in great heauinesse,

¹² After that, he appeared vnto two of them in an other forme, as they walked and went into the countrey.

¹² And it came to passe in those dayes, that he went into a mountaine to praye, and spent the night in prayer to God.

²⁸ And it came to passe about an eyght dayes after those wordes, that he tooke Peter and Iohn, and Iames, and went vp into a mountaine to pray. ²⁹ And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was changed, and his garment was white and glistered. ³⁰ And beholde, two men talked with him, which were Moses and Elias: ³¹ Which appeared in glory, and tolde of his departing, which he shoulde accomplish at Hierusalem. ³² But Peter and they that were with him, were heauie with sleepe, and when they awoke, they saw his glorie, and the two men standing with him. ³³ And it came to passe, as they departed from him, Peter said vnto Iesus, Master, it is good for vs to be here: let vs therefore make three tabernacles, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias, and wist not what he said. ³⁴ Whiles he thus spake, there came a cloude and ouershadowed them, and they feared when they were entring into the cloude. ³⁵ And there came a voyce out of the cloud, saying, This is that my beloued Sonne, heare him. ³⁶ And when the voyce was past, Iesus was found alone: and they kept it close, and tolde no man in those dayes any of those things which they had seene.

¹⁴ And that Word was made flesh, and dwelt among vs, (and we sawe the glorie thereof, as the glorie of the onely begotten Sonne of the Father) full of grace and trueth.

² And fashion not your selues like vnto this worlde, but bee yee changed by the renewing of your minde, that ye may prooue what that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God is.

⁷ If then the ministration of death written with letters and ingrauen in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel coulde not beholde the face of Moses, for the glorie of his countenance (which glorie is done away.) ⁸ Howe shall not the ministration of the Spirite be more glorious? ⁹ For if the ministerie of condemnation was glorious, much more doeth the ministration of righteousnesse exceede in glorie. ¹⁰ For euen that which was glorified, was not glorified in this point, that is, as touching the exceeding glorie.

¹ Lo this is the thirde time that I come vnto you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall euery worde stand

⁶ Who being in ye forme of God, thought it no robberie to be equall with God: ⁷ But he made himself of no reputation, and tooke on him ye forme of a seruant, and was made like vnto men, and was founde in shape as a man. ⁸ He humbled himselfe, and became obedient vnto the death, euen the death of the Crosse.

²¹ Who shall change our vile bodie, that it may be fashioned like vnto his glorious body, according to the working, whereby hee is able euen to subdue all things vnto him selfe.

¹⁶ For we followed not deceiuable fables when we opened vnto you the power, and comming of our Lord Iesus Christ, but with our eyes we saw his maiestie: ¹⁷ For he receiued of God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voyce to him from that excellent glory, This is my beloued Sonne, in whom I am well pleased. ¹⁸ And this voyce we heard when it came from heauen, being with him in the Holy mount.

¹³ And in the middes of the seuen candlestickes, one like vnto the Sonne of man, clothed with a garment downe to the feete, and girded about the pappes with a golden girdle. ¹⁴ His head, and heares were white as white wooll, and as snowe, and his eyes were as a flame of fire, ¹⁵ And his feete like vnto fine brasse, burning as in a fornace: and his voyce as the sounde of many waters. ¹⁶ And he had in his right hand seuen starres: and out of his mouth went a sharpe two edged sword: and his face shone as the sunne shineth in his strength. ¹⁷ And when I saw him, I fell at his feete as dead: then he laid his right hand vpon me, saying vnto me, Feare not: I am that first and that last,

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and one that sate on it, from whose face fled away both the earth and heauen, and their place was no more found.
