¹⁸ Hast thou stretched out the heaues, which are strong, and as a molten glasse?

⁶ Againe God said, Let there be a firmament in the mids of the waters: and let it separate the waters from the waters. ⁷ Then God made the firmament, and separated the waters, which were vnder the firmament, from the waters which were aboue the firmament: and it was so. ⁸ And God called the firmament Heauen. So the Euening and the morning were the second day.

⁸ Also he made the Lauer of brasse, and the foote of it of brasse of the glasses of the women that did assemble and came together at the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.

⁸ Hee himselfe alone spreadeth out the heauens, and walketh vpon the height of the sea. ⁹ He maketh the starres Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the climates of the South.

² Which couereth himselfe with light as with a garment, and spreadeth the heauens like a curtaine.

⁴ Prayse ye him, heauens of heauens, and waters, that be aboue the heauens. ⁵ Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created. ⁶ And he hath established them for euer and euer: he hath made an ordinance, which shall not passe.

¹ Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye God in his Sanctuarie: prayse ye him in the firmament of his power.

²⁷ When hee prepared the heauens, I was there, when he set the compasse vpon the deepe.

¹² Who hath measured the waters in his fist? and counted heauen with the spanne, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure? and weighed ye mountaines in a weight, and the hilles in a balance?

²² He sitteth vpon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grashoppers, hee stretcheth out ye heauens, as a curtaine, and spreadeth them out, as a tent to dwell in.

²⁴ Thus sayeth the Lord thy redeemer and he that formed thee from the wombe, I am the Lord, that made all things, that spred out the heauens alone, and stretched out the earth by my selfe.
