¹⁸ He is swift vpon the waters: their portion shalbe cursed in the earth: he will not behold the way of the vineyardes.

¹⁶ Cursed shalt thou bee in the towne, and cursed also in the fielde. ¹⁷ Cursed shall thy basket be, and thy dough. ¹⁸ Cursed shall be the fruite of thy body, and the fruite of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flockes of thy sheepe. ¹⁹ Cursed shalt thou be when thou commest in, and cursed also when thou goest out. ²⁰ The Lord shall sende vpon thee cursing, trouble, and shame, in all that which thou settest thine hand to do, vntil thou be destroyed, and perish quickely, because of the wickednesse of thy workes whereby thou hast forsaken me.

²⁶ They are passed as with the most swift ships, and as the eagle that flyeth to the pray.

¹⁶ Which were cut downe before the time, whose foundation was as a riuer that ouerflowed:

⁷ Let them melt like the waters, let them passe away: when hee shooteth his arrowes, let them be as broken.

²² Let their table be a snare before them, and their prosperitie their ruine.

¹⁸ Surely thou hast set them in slipperie places, and castest them downe into desolation. ¹⁹ How suddenly are they destroyed, perished and horribly consumed, ²⁰ As a dreame when one awaketh! O Lord, when thou raisest vs vp, thou shalt make their image despised.

³³ The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the righteous.

¹⁰ Passe through thy lande like a flood to the daughter of Tarshish: there is no more strength.

² If yee will not heare it, nor consider it in your heart, to giue glory vnto my Name, sayth the Lord of hostes, I will euen sende a curse vpon you, and will curse your blessings: yea, I haue cursed them alreadie, because yee doe not consider it in your heart.
