⁷ So Saul smote the Amalekites from Hauilah as thou commest to Shur, that is before Egypt,

¹¹ The name of one is Pishon: the same compasseth the whole land of Hauilah, where is golde.

⁷ But the Angel of the Lord founde her beside a fountaine of water in the wildernesse by the fountaine in the way to Shur,

¹⁸ And they dwelt from Hauilah vnto Shur, that is towardes Egypt, as thou goest to Asshur. Ishmael dwelt in the presence of all his brethren.

²² Then Moses brought Israel from the redde Sea, and they went out into the wildernesse of Shur: and they went three dayes in the wildernesse, and found no waters.

⁴⁸ He gathered also an hoste and smote Amalek, and deliuered Israel out of the handes of them that spoyled them.

⁸ Then Dauid and his men went vp, and inuaded the Geshurites, and the Girzites, and the Amalekites: for they inhabited the lande from the beginning, from the way, as thou goest to Shur, euen vnto the lande of Egypt.

³⁰ But the wicked is kept vnto the day of destruction, and they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.
