³ For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

⁹ Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God; the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

¹² And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, ¹³ to keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

⁷ The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. ⁸ The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. ⁹ The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true, [and] righteous altogether. ¹⁰ More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. ¹¹ Moreover by them is thy servant warned: in keeping of them there is great reward.

⁴⁵ And I will walk at liberty; for I have sought thy precepts.

⁴⁷ And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved. ⁴⁸ I will lift up my hands also unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.

¹⁰³ How sweet are thy words unto my taste! [yea, sweeter] than honey to my mouth! ¹⁰⁴ Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

¹²⁷ Therefore I love thy commandments above gold, yea, above fine gold. ¹²⁸ Therefore I esteem all [thy] precepts concerning all [things] to be right; [and] I hate every false way.

¹⁴⁰ Thy word is very pure; therefore thy servant loveth it.

¹⁷ Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

⁴ And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments;

⁸ He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

²⁸ Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. ²⁹ Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. ³⁰ For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

⁴⁶ While he was yet speaking to the multitudes, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, seeking to speak to him. ⁴⁷ And one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, seeking to speak to thee. ⁴⁸ But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? ⁴⁹ And he stretched forth his hand towards his disciples, and said, Behold, my mother and my brethren! ⁵⁰ For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother.

¹⁵ If ye love me, ye will keep my commandments.

²¹ He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself unto him. ²² Judas (not Iscariot) saith unto him, Lord, what is come to pass that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? ²³ Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. ²⁴ He that loveth me not keepeth not my words: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s who sent me.

¹⁰ If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

¹⁴ Ye are my friends, if ye do the things which I command you.

¹² So that the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and righteous, and good.

²² For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

¹⁰ For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel After those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, And on their heart also will I write them: And I will be to them a God, And they shall be to me a people:

³ And hereby know we that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

⁶ And this is love, that we should walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, even as ye heard from the beginning, that ye should walk in it.
