⁸ Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

³ The LORD is a man of war; the LORD is his name.

³ Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most valiant, with thy glory and thy majesty. ⁴ And in thy majesty be prospered; ride upon the word of truth and of humility and of righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. ⁵ Thine arrows, by which the peoples fall under thee, penetrate the heart of the enemies of the king. ⁶ ¶ Thy throne, O God, is eternal and for ever, the rod of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

¹ A Psalm to Asaph. ¶ The God of gods, even the LORD, has spoken and convocated the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

³ There he broke the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the war. Selah. ⁴ Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey. ⁵ The stouthearted are spoiled; they have slept their sleep; and nothing was found in the hands of the men of might. ⁶ At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

¹ ¶ The LORD reigns; he has clothed himself with majesty; the LORD has clothed himself with strength; he has girded himself: he has established the world also, that it cannot be moved.

⁶ For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government is placed upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called The Wonderful One, The Counsellor, The God, The Mighty One, The Eternal Father, The Prince of Peace.

²⁴ In that day Israel shall be the third part with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the earth. ²⁵ For the LORD of the hosts shall bless them, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my inheritance.

¹ ¶ Who is this that comes from Edom, with red garments from Bozrah? This glorious one in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. ² Why art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treads in the winefat? ³ I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was no one with me; for I have trodden them with my anger and have trampled them with my fury; and their blood sprinkled my garments and stained all my raiment. ⁴ For the day of vengeance is in my heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. ⁵ And I looked, and there was no one to help; and I wondered that there was no one to uphold me; therefore my own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me. ⁶ And I have trampled down the people with my anger and made them drunk in my fury, and I brought down their strength to the earth.

¹⁵ and having spoiled the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

² And I saw and, behold, a white horse; and he that was seated upon him had a bow, and a crown was given unto him, and he went forth victorious, that he might also overcome.

¹¹ ¶ And I saw the heaven open, and behold a white horse; and he that was seated upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. ¹² And his eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no one has known, but he himself. ¹³ And he was clothed with a garment dipped in blood; and his name is called The Word of God. ¹⁴ And the armies that are in the heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. ¹⁵ And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the Gentiles; and he shall rule them with a rod of iron; and he treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. ¹⁶ And he has on his garment and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. ¹⁷ And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that flew in the midst of the heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God, ¹⁸ that ye may eat flesh of kings and flesh of captains, and flesh of mighty men and flesh of horses and of those that sit on them and the flesh of everyone, free and bond, both small and great. ¹⁹ And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against him that was seated upon the horse and against his army. ²⁰ And the beast was taken and with it the false prophet that wrought miracles in its presence, with which he had deceived those that had taken the mark of the beast and had worshipped its image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. ²¹ And the others were slain with the sword that proceeded out of the mouth of him that was seated upon the horse; and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
