¹ ¶ Judge not, that ye be not judged.

⁵ ¶ Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hate you, that deny you for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified; but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

⁵² Thou also, who hast judged thy sisters, bear thine own shame for thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they; they are more righteous than thou; be thou confounded also and bear thy shame in that thou hast justified thy sisters. ⁵³ When I shall turn their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, then I will release the captivity of thy captives in the midst of them: ⁵⁴ that thou may bear thine own shame and may be confounded in all that thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort unto them. ⁵⁵ When thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters shall return to their first state, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their first state, thou and thy daughters shall return to your first state. ⁵⁶ Sodom, thy sister was not mentioned by thy mouth in the time of thy pride,

² For with the judgment with which ye judge, ye shall be judged, and with the measure with which ye measure, ye shall be measured again.

⁵ Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou be able to see to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

³⁷ ¶ Judge not, and ye shall not be judged; condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned; forgive, and ye shall be forgiven;

⁴¹ And why dost thou behold the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but not perceive the beam that is in thine own eye?

¹ ¶ Therefore, thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest; for in that which thou dost judge another, thou dost condemn thyself; for thou that judgest others doest the same things. ² For we are sure that the judgment of God is according to the truth against those who do such things.

³ Let not him that eats despise him that does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him that eats; for God has raised him up. ⁴ Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? By his own master he stands or falls; and if he falls, he shall be made to stand, for God is powerful to make him stand.

¹⁰ But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou belittle thy brother? for we shall all stand before the tribunal of the Christ. ¹¹ For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. ¹² So then each one of us shall give account of himself to God. ¹³ Let us, therefore, not judge one another any more, but judge this rather: that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.

³ But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by man’s judgment; I do not even judge my own self. ⁴ For although I have nothing on my conscience, yet am I not hereby justified, but he that judges me is the Lord. ⁵ Therefore, judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall each one have praise of God.

¹ ¶ My brethren, make not unto yourselves many teachers, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

¹¹ ¶ Murmur not against one another, brethren. He that speaks evil of his brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law; but if thou judge the law, thou art not a keeper of the law, but a judge. ¹² There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou to judge another?
